Wenn man so wie ich Levante-Küche mag ist das hier eine Top-Adresse. Atmosphäre, Bedienung, die Qualität der Speisen und Getränke: alles großartig. Und das zu einem sehr angemessenen Preis. Kann ich für Freunde dieser Küche vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Hingehehen!

A blend of Israeli and Middle Eastern cuisine. You have to like it, but it's certainly an interesting taste experience. The portions are rather small for the price. A 0.4-ounce beer for €6 is also quite high-end. The atmosphere is nice, even outside in the summer, but it's a bit low and therefore shady. Service was attentive, but initially a bit inflexible. There were six of us and we were crammed into a table for four, even though there were plenty of others available. If you're looking for a different kind of cuisine and taste experience, this is the place to go.

Enjoyment with atmosphere. Harmonious food in a relaxed setting. We sat outside and enjoyed fantastic appetizers like hummus and burrata with peas. There's a cozy bar attached with a stylish ambiance. The service was consistently attentive and friendly. Outstandingly delicious food, great atmosphere – highly recommended!

Mischung aus israelisch & orientalischer Küche. Muss man mögen, jedenfalls interessante Geschmackserlebnisse. Für den Preis sind die Portionen eher klein. 0,4 Bier 6€ auch eher obere Liga. Ambiente schön, im Sommer auch draussen, liegt aber etwas tief, daher schattig. Service aufmerksam, anfangs etwas unflexibel. Waren zu 6 und wurden an 4 er Tisch gedrängt, obwohl noch viele andere frei waren. Wer mal auf etwas andere Küche und Geschmackserlebnis steht ist hier nicht verkehrt.

We arrived shortly before the kitchen closed (9:50 p.m.) and received a very warm welcome. It's the only restaurant in the entire area where the kitchen is still open at this time. Many thanks to the entire cake team. The food is very, very delicious... great spices, and everything tasted wonderful. 👍

We went to NENI Hamburg for the first time on Saturday afternoon – and we were thrilled! The atmosphere is modern and cozy at the same time, with great attention to detail. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, we felt welcome from the start. It was our first encounter with Levante cuisine – and we were immediately impressed. The dishes were not only excellent in terms of taste, but also a real experience for the senses. We particularly remember the homemade iced tea – simply delicious! A nice coincidence: We found out that the NENI is also in Cologne, very close to our home. We are looking forward to enjoying the special cuisine and the great ambience there again soon - or on one of our next visits to Hamburg. Best regards Peter Baumann

Ein sehr gutes Essen, gute levantinische Küche, aber leider ein lautes Lokal, zum Unterhalten in gemütlicher Runde nicht so geeignet.

Delicious and varied food that is something different. I personally liked the ambience: dimmed lights, different seating options... it looks more like a large living room. Unfortunately, the service was rather matter-of-fact and distant and not as warm and attentive as I expected.

The weekday evening visit was super relaxed. We arrived by public transport, which is easy because the stop is right next to the 25h Hotel (Neni in the basement). The ambience is darker but very relaxed, with a view of the kitchen. We had the menu and can really recommend it (very generous). But what we liked best was the service; Julia made our evening simply perfect.

Food great, service great, ambience great. One star deducted because it's just way too expensive for the little bit of chickpea stuff.

The food was mind blowing, I was in heaven and am looking forward to another visit. Our waiter Stephan was attentive, super friendly, and the welcome was warm. The ambience is great, you feel like you are having a meal with friends. We ate the menu purely vegetarian (whether vegan would have been possible) and it was worth it, it just wasn't manageable.

Haven't eaten this well in a long time.

I've been to Neni a lot, but yesterday (April 12th) it really wasn't good. As always fully booked, this time the first cake of the menu arrived within a few minutes with the greeting from the kitchen, well before the drinks, which, even when asked, continued to wait. Then nothing happened anymore and we waited a long time for second gear. (Food was significantly more average than previous visits😪). With the dessert came the bill, with the note that our time was up... Honestly cheeky, WE didn't delay anything. The invoice was not a final invoice but something provisional. A rogue who thinks bad things about it. That’s it for now with this Neni. In others I have never had such an experience. It's a shame, I often booked the company for larger groups.

As a tourist, I spontaneously looked for a nice restaurant after the obligatory harbor tour and ultimately stopped at NENI following a recommendation. The extraordinary reception by Tino was the first highlight of the evening. All of the service staff at NENI were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout. To be honest, as villagers we were quite ignorant after first looking at the menu, as we completely lack any knowledge of Eastern Mediterranean cuisine. Tino gave us comprehensive information and in the meantime served several courses of culinary delicacies. The dishes and their composition were a complete poem. We will remember Tino's charming, friendly and professional hospitality for a long time. Thank you!!

Overall bad experience. The bottle of wine was brought to us open. The young waiter was super unpleasant. The waitress was better but nothing special either. The food is ok and some dishes are good. Service and incompetence break the experience. To not return

An exceptionally beautiful evening with wonderfully delicious food. Balagan Balagan. We were surprised, ordered the Balagan menu, and didn't regret it. It was truly delicious, and I ate wonderful things that I might not have ordered otherwise, but will order again in the future. To go with it, we had the wonderful wines from Galilee, both white and red, which are highly recommended. NENI is a must-visit, if only for the great atmosphere. The service was friendly, attentive, but not intrusive, just the way I like it. I would love to come back.

A magnificent culinary experience in a relaxed atmosphere. As a large group, we were instructed to choose the set menu. The selection of dishes was excellent, with a bit of everything. The promise that no one would leave hungry and that we would bring more food upon request was also fulfilled. The only drawback was that the very friendly and attentive service eventually reached its limits due to the full house, so our glasses remained empty for quite some time.

The appetizers are highly recommended. In retrospect, I wish I had ordered three or four appetizers instead of a starter and main course. We both found the hummus main courses a bit boring, and in the end, there was simply too much hummus. We particularly enjoyed the cabbage appetizer and would have liked to try more. For €20, I would have been quite disappointed with the main course without the appetizers. But for people who can never get enough hummus, it's definitely a feast. Service is good and friendly, portions are rather small, and the ambiance is so-so; it could perhaps be a bit more modern.

Super tasty Israeli restaurant with a small but good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The King Oyster Mushroom Shawarma in particular stands out as an outstanding vegetarian dish. But the mezze such as hummus and the like are also super delicious. In terms of price, the restaurant is definitely in the higher price range, but it pays off in the quality of the food. The service is always great, friendly and yet not too stiff. The ambience is more modern than upscale, overall a good mix. Just as suitable for business lunches or business meals in the evening as for a private celebration. I can highly recommend the NENI on Überseeboulevard in HafenCity.

My highlight: the coziest sofas and incredibly delicious vegan options (the popcorn falafel are the most tender I've ever eaten).

We were traveling as a group and stopped at Neni's after work. Reservations make sense! Super nice service - always present and never intrusive. The in-house iced tea didn't appeal to me - it had a very strong taste of mint - I wasn't alone in that opinion that evening... Clearly structured card and quick ordering. The food is at the table very quickly - I then become alert very quickly - completely unnecessary in this case. The food is hot and freshly prepared. Of course I had the Popcorn Falafel and the Wagyu Kebap. Whether the kebab really has to be made from Wagyu may be debatable, but the result is completely convincing! Tender, juicy, well seasoned and simply delicious - served with smoked eggplant cream. Brilliant! The popcorn falafel didn't really appeal to me - very fluffy and crispy on the outside but not enough popcorn crunch for me - complaining on a high level! Since we also swapped things with each other - all the dishes are tasty and varied. Even the “potato peels” - great dish. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant, except for the noise - the tables are close together and this has a negative effect on the overall noise. Are we coming back? In any case! Food and service are first class. The price-performance ratio also suits me.

Do you really need to know weeks in advance when you're going to get a craving for Levantine cuisine? This is the case for an online reservation at NENI in Überseequartier. So yesterday, at the best time for coffee and cake, I spontaneously tried it: and it worked! Friendly, efficiency-oriented service. Eight minutes between ordering and serving. “I’ll fill the table for you here.” The tin bowls spin on the metal tables like tops. Our six dishes taste good, especially the hummus - but cooking is different. “Healthy 5-minute recipes for lazy days” is what brigitte.de says. In any case, the greeting from the kitchen was certainly not a greeting from trained chefs.

Beautiful ambience, cozy and nicely decorated. The food is authentically delicious and fresh. Dogs are also welcome and water was brought straight away without having to ask. We're happy to come back at any time, whether it's a meeting with friends or a business meeting, everything is possible there.

On Thursday evening it even worked for two people without a reservation :) I was there about a year ago and I found the portions to be rather small, yesterday it was more than enough. The artichoke hearts, roasted cabbage and the Korean fried chicken 10/10 👌🏼 really great service too!

Went there today and realized that the price & performance principle didn't work for us. Our seats were also positioned so that we could look into the open kitchen. We would have liked to have done without it. The music was set too loud for the conversations you would like to have while eating. [musical taste left out] Everyone likes it differently and so do we. We had a lovely evening. The service was great, something you rarely experience these days. The food (we had the menu a few times, a few items à la carte) was good to excellent and the menu in particular was a nice, varied mix. Overall it was a bit loud all around, but it was still okay. Disappointing, however, that wine from the occupied territories (Golan Heights Winery) is sold, which is unfortunately not possible and leaves a bitter aftertaste.

Sehr gemütlich und einladend eingerichtet. Der Service war je nach Servicekraft zwischen okay und sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen war nicht herausragend, aber durchaus gut gemacht und geschmacklich ansprechend. Preislich bewegt es sich zwar im fairen Rahmen, mit den Geschäftspraktiken bin ich aber äußerst unzufrieden. Was ich nicht in die Bewertung eingehen lasse, was mich aber dazu bringt das NENI eher zu meiden: Wenn ich jede Scheibe Pita-Brot nachbestellen und einzeln bezahlen muss und zu einer Hummus-Portion nicht ansatzweise ausreichend gereicht wird, fühle ich mich als Gast verarscht. Das mag kurzfristig gut für den Umsatz sein, mich hat es allerdings verprellt.

Very cozy and invitingly furnished. Depending on the waiter, the service was between okay and very friendly and attentive. The food wasn't outstanding, but it was well made and tasted appealing. The price is within a fair range, but I am extremely dissatisfied with the business practices. What I won't include in the review, but what makes me avoid the NENI: If I have to order each slice of pita bread and pay for it individually and there isn't nearly enough to accompany a portion of hummus, I feel like I've been ripped off as a guest. That may be good for sales in the short term, but it alienated me.

Unfortunately I can only give 5 stars, that's far too few!!! We had the Balagan menu to share between two and it was absolutely fantastic. Absolute recommendation. My highlight was the cabbage with Caesar dressing and the sea bream with pumpkin and harissa filling. Don't miss this! The service was attentive, quick and fun. It was a thoroughly successful evening, thank you very much!

The three of us arrived on the eve of our cruise. Even without a reservation (strongly recommended), we were given a place in the quieter “spy corner”. The location in the old harbor office is beautiful. We had two starters, two main courses and some side dishes. Neni loves sharing was on the menu. Overall, all dishes fit perfectly into Haya Molchow's culinary concept. The Jerusalem plate was absolutely amazing! Lisa, our super nice waitress, always kept an eye on us and made sure that the evening felt like the first day of the cruise.

After a lot of persuading my wife, I finally went to Neni yesterday! I liked it a lot! Really delicious food, nice ambience and friendly but slightly annoyed service staff! The prices for our 4-pax balagan menu were actually too high. We should have ordered the dishes individually! Initially the portions looked small, in fact we were so full at the end that we couldn't finish it all! Conclusion: A great evening!

Wie so oft in dieser Zeit: Komplett überteuertes Essen und Trinken, hat zudem fade geschmeckt und war für € 21 als Hauptgericht ein Witz, so wenig.

Unfortunately, the KING OYSTER MUSHROOM SHAWARMA did not meet my expectations. There were great aromas of oriental cuisine, but the dish was too simple and too little for a main course. In addition, the mushrooms on the slats were still very sandy. If you're looking for a good oriental 3-course menu, you're in good hands here. The service was very good. The atmosphere is a bit loud and restless. Reservations are mandatory on weekends!

Tolles Restaurant sowohl von der Optik als auch vom Ambiente her. Was aber noch wichtiger war, war der sehr freundliche und zuvorkommende Service als natürlich auch das sehr leckere Essen. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
