So we went there spontaneously. But I've been there several times before. I like the food; there's a variety of something for everyone. I have to say, my vegan girlfriend also thought it was delicious; she wasn't familiar with Kurdish cuisine. We were thrilled with the homemade lemonades. We enjoyed it.

The food was okay, but nothing special. However, the lady at the counter (entrance) was very unfriendly and disrespectful.

We went there on a Sunday afternoon to grab a bite to eat. There were still a few tables free at that time, and we quickly found a seat. It was our first time at bona'me, so the ordering system was a bit confusing. Since it wasn't that busy, they kindly explained how it worked—it took some getting used to! First, we'd get drinks! Then one meal was ready—we picked it up, then the second—we had to get up and pick it up again!! My husband's meal—two small börek—was warm and delicious. I ordered Meze III—the small falafel were very hard, the hollandaise sauce from a packet, and everything was microwaved (only after stirring did everything get more or less evenly warm). The taste was okay, nothing special! Because of all the constant getting up—thank goodness there were only two of us!—the whole atmosphere was very hectic. People were constantly getting up and walking around. Not for us! The dishes weren't cleared away until after everyone had left. It feels like a cafeteria or snack bar! Last but not least, a lady from the restaurant caused even more of a disturbance! They were "decorating" around us—well, ten minutes later and we would have been gone! Conclusion: Weird ordering system, hectic, so-so food!

We always enjoy coming here! The value for money is excellent, and the food is incredibly delicious. However, when it's really busy, the noise level can be quite high, but the atmosphere is perfectly harmonious. The people who work there are all friendly and accommodating.

I stopped by for brunch with a good friend. The pide and burgers are highly recommended.🙏🏽

Waren das erste Mal im Bona‘me. Waren für ein Wochenende Trip in Hamburg. Am Anfang wurden uns Karten ausgeteilt ohne uns das System zu erklären. Wir haben dann 15 Minuten auf die Bedienung gewartet. Irgendwann nach eigener Rückfrage kam raus das hier Selbstbedienung ist. Selber bestellen am Tablett, selber Besteck holen und selber die Getränke das Essen holen. Fühlt sich an wie eine Kantine. Das Essen war aber sehr lecker. Waren den ganzen Tag gesättigt.

It was our first time at Bona'me. We were in Hamburg for a weekend trip. At first, they handed us cards without explaining the system. We then waited 15 minutes for service. After asking, we found out it was self-service. You order from a tray, get your own cutlery, and get your own drinks and food. It felt like a cafeteria. The food was delicious, though. We were full all day.

The atmosphere and concept are very nice. We entered after hearing the Ahmet Kaya song at the entrance, it was a very nice detail. I also liked that they used a Kurdish name. Despite the crowd, the food was fresh and hot. The portions of the food we ate were quite large and delicious. It is wholeheartedly recommended!😚

Delicious, but not relaxing The food was really delicious, but unfortunately some of it was lukewarm, which is due to the "service" concept, which brings us to the topic: The restaurant concept (a strange form of self-service) is really annoying. So anyone hoping for a relaxed evening with good company should go somewhere else. Specific experience: Get chip cards upon entry (upon request), then study a lengthy, confusing menu and drink list on your phone (it feels like 300 pages to scroll through, take screenshots, or memorize them, otherwise you'll never find your desired meal again). Then go to a touchscreen, type in each individual dish/drink/ingredient via the various submenus. Then get a buzzer somewhere, go back to the touchscreen, and hold it. The order is now sent to the kitchen. Then contact an employee to determine the order (but to no avail). Then sit down for a moment, and the buzzer starts buzzing. Now go to the appropriate counter (see buzzer) and pick up your meal. Back at your seat, the buzzer buzzes again; pick up the next meal at the appropriate counter. Eventually, you'll have everything and can finally eat. Unfortunately, not everything will be hot, because everything is ready more or less at the same time, and of course, you won't eat it all at once. That's a shame for the otherwise good food and unfortunately devalues ​​it because you're just left with a pile of food on the table without any concept.

I've been a customer for years and have tried a variety of dishes. The Vapiano model is pleasant, but the lack of good humor among the staff there isn't. Recently, you're seated, but it takes a while. Friendliness isn't a priority; it's more of a mass-processing experience. On the other hand, the portions are manageable depending on the dish, but the prices aren't. Unfortunately, I no longer recommend it.

Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't suit my taste at all. A hype I can't understand. Service=none (order and pick up yourself). However, you have to keep in mind that this is the concept of the restaurant. The restaurant looked very nice, but it wasn't comfortable. I had what you could call a wrap? However: a dry wrap, dry falafel. And probably deliberately drenched in an unbelievable sauce, as it doesn't have much flavor. I might also have had the wrong food; the pide looked very tasty! I still won't be back. No service, and the seating was very uncomfortable.

Here, you order via a QR code... The appetizer arrived during the main course. The dishes weren't ready at the same time. Prices are OK. You have to like that. The chairs don't invite you to linger for long. The food looks and tastes great!

The last time I was here was 7 years ago and we liked it so much that we definitely wanted to have breakfast here again the next time we were in Hamburg. However, this time the Bona'me really disappointed us, first of all the price for the Bona'me breakfast, which was nothing special and without a drink. The simit on it and the bread were definitely not fresh and hard. We also ordered a Sucuk Beyti, which was initially forgotten and then was very, very greasy. I remember that it was previously rolled with tortilla bread and is now made with very thin puff/baklava dough. Unfortunately it wasn't that tasty. I generally find the prices for a self-service restaurant to be overpriced.

First I have to say, I was here 8 years ago and it was so good that I went there as soon as I was in Hamburg. ...I can't understand the high ratings. I have rarely eaten such a bad (wet) salad and uninspired falafel. There is no service, mass processing canteen-style. Overall, a big disappointment that actually didn't even deserve a star. You'll never see me there again.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. During a visit on April 27th, an amount of €1,690 instead of €16.90 was incorrectly debited from my credit card - a serious mistake. Although I reported the error immediately and was promised a refund several times, I am still waiting for my money after more than a week. When I have specific questions, I don't get a clear answer or a fixed date for reimbursement. Such gross billing errors and the unprofessional handling of them are an absolute no-go for me.

The ambience is very nice. Unfortunately, the system sucks and the staff doesn't provide enough information. The breakfast platter was rather disappointing for the price and nothing special. There are definitely much better places for a Turkish breakfast.

The four of us wanted to try a new restaurant. The choice fell on the bona'me. I was there first and went in and asked for a table by the window right next to the entrance. Since there were still plates on the table, the friendly lady at reception just said that she would be happy to prepare the table for us. After she did this, I sat down and calmly waited for my friends. After a short time I thought that I could take a look at the map... Which map?? Since there was a nice couple sitting at the next table, I understood that I had to go to the website via a QR code. So I scanned their card and selected it. I then gave the website to my friends when they arrived. Now it was time to order. But how? The nice couple then briefly explained to us that we would also need a card. So try to get a card. The ladies at reception kindly gave us one too. Then (as described by our neighbors!) we set off with the card. We looked a little lost at the show counter until one of the cooks explained to us that we had to order our food at the terminals. So get to the devices: I was looking for my dish - but I couldn't find it. Searched EVERYTHING again - nothing found. So my alternative. Searched EVERYTHING again and couldn't find it again. So plan C. Found after searching the courts again. Ordered. Now for my partner. Searched everything again - but also found it. Everything ordered and back to the table. Then my friend's pager rings. He leaves because his drinks are ready (drink in a bottle). As soon as he is back, his part rings again: his food is already ready. We're surprised that mine doesn't ring even though I ordered beforehand?!? But after my friend comes back, my device also rings: get food. After I brought the food to the table. I go off again to get my drinks (also in the bottle). At least I got these too – not quite what I ordered but what the heck? We were “allowed” to spend a lot of time bringing our orders to the table ourselves. There was also no tray to safely bring the two meals (from me and my companion) to the table. Last but not least, we read that the card says that you have to pay €50 if you leave the restaurant without a card. It's a mockery if you don't get a ticket when you enter. For the meal: We had three salads and a pide. The salads were missing dressing – that was all of our opinions. Otherwise the food tasted good. The price: I think the price is reasonable - but despite being the staff, it's not cheap. About the ambience: It's chic, but still has something cafeteria-like about it. Also quite loud at times. About the staff: friendly but I still have room for improvement when it comes to helpfulness and thoughtfulness. Summary: For me, the restaurant has the charm of MC-Donalds - but the concept and the "user experience" in the ordering process of the burger chain are a lot further. Overall, the restaurant won't see me again.

I like the self-service idea, but it's not explained well enough. The food tastes good and is fresh, but the menemen were very roughly cut. The simit was cold and had a strong tahini flavor. Overall, I think the store is overpriced for what it offers.

Bona’me Hamburg is a modern Kurdish-Turkish restaurant that I can absolutely recommend! For breakfast there is always freshly baked flatbread and sesame rings - simply delicious. The various omelettes with fresh vegetables are very tasty. The grilled dishes are also excellent: perfectly marinated, marinated and grilled to perfection. Salads and vegetables are always fresh and attractively served. The digital ordering concept works great – quick, uncomplicated, and you simply pick up the food yourself at the counter. Freshly squeezed orange juice and Turkish tea from a traditional teapot round off the experience wonderfully. Particularly noteworthy: The owner is very friendly and creates a great atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

The food was quite good so far, although there was a deduction for the vegetables. This was distributed very sparingly on the meal. I had to take it with me and therefore couldn't complain about it

We came to this place several times as a family during our trip to Hamburg. The design of the place, the presentation and taste of the food were really nice. The kitchen staff, the lady who greeted the guests, and the friends working at the bar were friendly. However, the place has a nightmare ordering system. They work like a self-service and food court. You order from the screens at the kitchen desks, load it onto the card given to you at the entrance and pay when you leave. If you are going to eat properly, you should rush between stations to get your food and drink. During busy times, there is a queue to order at the screens, a queue to pay at the exit, and even the receptionist cannot adequately inform the customers. This payment system makes everything difficult for both employees and customers. Much smarter and more efficient order & pay software is available throughout Europe. If you want to increase sales and speed up service, my humble opinion as a business owner is that you should also consider different payment methods.

I’ve visited Bona’me in Hamburg multiple times, and it consistently delivers a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is vibrant, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. I’m particularly impressed by their ever-evolving dessert selection; there’s always something new and exciting to try. If you’re in the mood for delicious Turkish cuisine in a stylish setting, Bona’me is a must-visit.

I was here 4 years ago where it was quite good. I visited again yesterday and was really disappointed..Everything was bad, food, service, employees. I gave it another chance last week, and can only say the standard is not what it was, and this was definitely last time.

Highly recommended for anyone who likes to eat and drink oriental cuisine. It's a bit out of the way, but it's worth it. Breakfast, lunch and evening meal. The ordering process takes some getting used to: With a chip card you go to a screen, choose what you want and get a transmitter that sounds an alarm as soon as the food/drink is ready and can be picked up from the bar/cooking counter. Everything is booked onto this chip card and shown when you go out and then paid for. Well, you save on staff, but you also get your drink quicker because you don't have to wait for service. Advantages and disadvantages of modernity. It was very beautiful and delicious!

Great concept and restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice. The concept is self service, fast and good. We ordered Crispy chicken, kaşarlı kuşbaşılı pide, and pasta with tomato sauce. Crispy chicken was not delicious. Pide was not bad, average taste. Pasta was okay. Turkish tea was not fresh. The staff, concept and atmosphere is great. If the taste gets better it would be a great restaurant.

The breakfast was very tasty, especially the egg dishes. The atmosphere was also very nice. We are looking forward to testing it in Frankfurt. 👍

Good good, short waiting times for lunch, fair prices

Large restaurant with an interesting self-service concept. We were there early in the evening on a Saturday and luckily got a place for two even without a reservation - despite the full house. Unfortunately the concept wasn't explained at the entrance, which was a bit confusing. Luckily my companion knew the shop, otherwise I would have honestly felt a bit lost. But the food was very tasty and definitely worth the visit!

Modern system catering with Kurdish-Turkish cuisine We spontaneously went to dinner at bona’me on a Tuesday evening. It was well attended. The restaurant in Hamburg, like others in this chain, has a self-service concept with ordering terminals and payment cards - a little confusing on the first visit, but easy to use after a short orientation. Once you understand the principle, you will quickly get to grips with it. The cuisine is convincing across the board: modern interpretation, Kurdish-Turkish influence, extremely fresh and full of taste. Particularly noteworthy are the variety of dips, fresh salads and bread specialties - all homemade and aromatic. My personal favorites: Beyti and Manti – both dishes are excellently seasoned, perfectly prepared and very filling. So a modern gastronomy concept with authentic, high-quality cuisine. Anyone who likes freshness and variety and is open to new ordering processes will definitely find what they are looking for here. Recommended – especially for fans of Levantine and Anatolian cuisine.

Nice shop. The food is generally good. But I wouldn't call it unusual, especially if you know other Turkish restaurants. I find the concept a little complicated. It's in the self-service area but with the prices of classic gastronomy. To order you have to go to terminals, which is inconvenient in a group. You can view the menu in advance on your own smartphone, but without prices. The prices are only available on the terminals. You have to get your own food, purchased drinks are delivered. Would you like to reorder? Back to the terminal again. If you have to look at your own smartphone, ordering via it would be more practical. Then you get more out of the evening and less of the paths and terminals.

I recently had the opportunity to visit a new restaurant and would like to share my impressions. Eat: The food was really very good! The dishes were freshly prepared. The flavors were balanced and really enriched my taste experience. It's obvious that emphasis is placed on good ingredients here. Service: Unfortunately the service wasn't quite up to the same level. The service was unfriendly and often seemed sloppy. It felt like the staff weren't really interested in a positive experience for the guests. That spoiled the whole atmosphere a bit. Order system: The ordering system takes a little getting used to. It's very reminiscent of a cafeteria, which makes the process seem less inviting. This style of ordering may be confusing for some guests and could be improved to create a more pleasant experience.

First of all: the food was great. It tasted really delicious and everything went well. The selection is also great and varied. The ambience is also really nice in terms of the furnishings - the arrangement of the tables and the size have a bit of a canteen feel (also combined with the noise). The fact that you have to get the food yourself - that's an issue that can be debated, whether that's good or bad. If you know it beforehand, you can prepare for it. I actually didn't find the employees very friendly. We first sat at a table that was probably reserved. An employee told us without saying hello that we should sit somewhere else. I then asked where and was shown a direction and told “somewhere there”. All in all I thought it was good and would eat there again, you just have to know what to expect. :)

Unfortunately, the breakfast offering didn't impress me. I was looking forward to visiting there, as the online menu advertised various delicious juices and three vegetarian breakfast options. Unfortunately, two of the three vegetarian options weren't available, and the third (simit with scrambled eggs and avocado) had about half a kilo of sucuk added to it, which isn't stated online. Apart from the orange juice, there were no juices available either (staff comment: "If it's not shown in the ordering system, it's not available"). So I ordered the simit, and the half kilo of sucuk ended up in the trash because there was simply no way to cancel it, and no one else at the table wanted it. Considering it's self-service and pretty busy and noisy, the prices are, in my opinion, too high. At around €15 for a tea and a simit with scrambled eggs, there should really be room for a waiter. So, unfortunately, I can't recommend it for vegetarians for breakfast, and I wouldn't go there for breakfast again.

Great modern take on Turkish food.

The food is not my thing and simple food. I would have expected more compared to the ambience. The prices were ok.

Delicious food, friendly people, great location. Personally, I didn't like the self-service: tapping away at screens and carrying around a pager that thousands of people have touched before me, then eating right afterward... The food was also unevenly ready, so you had to keep getting up and couldn't get any rest at first. The food was very tasty, but unfortunately the vegetables were a bit overcooked - probably because some of the food at the large counter is already prepared and kept warm to speed up pickups. It was still delicious, though. I'd just go for the pasta (triangular ravioli 😅) next time - I liked that the best when I tried it.

The best pide in all of Hamburg

A really nice concept and the ambience is beautiful. You feel like you're in the Orient. The kitchen offers a variety of mezze dishes, cocktails with or without alcohol and much more. It's always fun to eat there.

Food was tasty but nothing exceptional. I like the concept (4/5 stars). However, there is a deduction for the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Been here twice and both times the toilets looked terrible.

A nice place to linger. We only had drinks, so I can't comment on the food. You just have to like this kind of dining. It's worth trying once. Still, I was glad there was a younger person there. Maybe I wouldn't have anything to drink yet 😂 Ordering from the menu actually makes sense, but I don't need to order everything myself every day. 😂

Limited selection and uncomfortable seating The restaurant offers a very limited selection of dishes that hardly differ from each other. Unfortunately there is a lack of variety and creativity on the menu. In addition, the tables and chairs are not particularly comfortable, which makes the stay less pleasant. Overall the experience was rather disappointing.

Beim Vorbeigehen wurden wir auf dieses Lokal aufmerksam. Sehr trendig eingerichtet. Gut besucht war es außerdem. Also vorgemerkt. Und waren jetzt das 2. MAL dort. Einzig das Konzept war anfangs etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Wäre schön , wenn man gesagt bekommen würde, dass man sich die Karte online rinterladen und das Essen am Tresen selbst bestellen und natürlich selbst abholen muss. Aber das Essen ist wirklich lecker. Beim ersten Mal hatten wir beide eine Pide, die den Namen auch verdient (1x vegetarisch, 1x mit Rinderstreifen) und nicht so einen dicken Teigklotz. Dazu lecker und reichlich Humus. Beim 2. Mal hatte ich einen leckeren Salat mit Granatapfelkernen und knusprigen Teigtaschen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

However, we had to find our way around the order ourselves, as reception didn't explain how the system works :( Unfortunately, we also had to walk several times because each dish had to be picked up individually. Otherwise, the ambience is quite nice, only the music is a little annoying 😅

The restaurant as a set up is impressive and modern, Kurdish cuisine very good, a little more expensive, the staff friendly, I think the way of ordering does not suit the place...kavala

Animals Prices Staff is unfriendly

We got a seat there on a Saturday evening after a short wait and had a delicious meal. Good value for money!

Good concept, but unfortunately it feels like you're stacked on top of each other in the store! You basically eat with the person sitting next to you. This “presses” on the atmosphere and conversations. Food is OK, nothing outstanding.

The food was super tasty and ready to be picked up quickly. Great! The staff, especially at the drinks counter and the food counter, were remarkably unfriendly. There is still a lot of room for improvement.

Estamos en un crucero y llegamos una hora antes para nuestra visita al tour Chocoversum. No hay mucho abierto en Hamburgo un domingo, pero Bona'me estaba abierto y parecía acogedor para el almuerzo, así que llamamos. Es un restaurante turco brillante y alegre con un moderno sistema de pedidos para iPad, pero la camarera lo explicó claramente en inglés. Pedimos Mantarli Pide que es una pizza alargada de hongos. Absolutamente delicioso. También tuvimos Orient 'n Cheese que es Mozzarella y Gouda hornearon pasta casera con champiñones adobados, queso blanco y espinacas en salsa holandesa harissa. Sabores encantadores con una pequeña patada. Tomamos cafés también y todo por menos de 30€. Muy recomendable si visitas Hamburgo.

Food mediocre, canteen atmosphere with nice decoration, cooks (who hand out the food at the counter) are incredibly unfriendly. Overall result rather stressful.

Fun place, amazing food, self-serve. Great for large groups.

Actually nicely furnished, but far too loud and therefore not suitable for a cozy evening. I found the ordering process to be unstructured; our group of 10 people ended up having to search for three missing dishes and that was time-consuming. My ginger tea consisted of two uncrushed bulbs, have you ever made that? My main course tasted ok but wasn't seasoned spectacularly. Our dishes sat on the table for more than an hour after dinner without being picked up, despite a swarm of service staff constantly milling around. I found the urinals in the men's room extremely unpleasant, as they were arranged one behind the other in a kind of narrow corridor and you couldn't get to them without getting very close to other guests.

We were in a larger group at bona'me Hamburg and were lucky enough to receive an all-round, worry-free package. The food was very tasty and the service, especially the boss, was extremely friendly and very competent. Unfortunately the drinks took a little longer but to compensate there was a small dessert on top 😊

I wanted to go there for lunch with colleagues. Unfortunately, the digital ordering terminals are not self-explanatory. There was also no beeper to let you know that the food was ready. Tried to order food via the terminal and selected something and held out the card to pay and the screen reset and I assumed it worked. My colleagues were gradually able to get their food. But my beeper stayed silent for 15 minutes. When I asked at the entrance I was told that I hadn't ordered anything on the menu. I lost the desire to order anything there, especially since my lunch break was almost over. Really disappointing experience as the food looked delicious from colleagues. But such a complicated ordering process without a contact person is stupid and you don't get any feedback as to whether it worked... I won't be coming here again for a while... What a shame

Unfortunately, our visit to this restaurant did not meet our expectations. The food was disappointing and the iced teas were barely edible - they tasted mostly like sugar or honey, so the pomegranate flavor and desired acidity were completely missing. We left the iced teas, which was particularly unfortunate given the high prices. The food looked promising on the menu, but the reality was sobering. The starter platter, which was described as “SÊ MEZE III”, consisted only of two prawns and lots of pepper vegetables in oil, two small falafels with a tasteless hollandaise and a few minced meatballs in tomato sauce. There was no hint of the promised harissa spiciness, and the bread on the side was far too little for the amount of oil and sauce. The main course, which we both ordered as Beyti, was mixed. The avocado dish was okay, but the quality of the grilled beef left a lot to be desired - it seemed like reheated, boring meat. My companion was also disappointed with the Sucuk version. Even though we weren't really full, we were no longer interested in dessert. The service was also inadequate. As first-time visitors, we were overwhelmed because no one in the restaurant spoke German and no one could explain to us how to order and in what order. So we only received our starter after the main course. There was also a chaotic atmosphere in the restaurant with employees on the floor or stairs. The music and acoustics did nothing to improve the experience. The restaurant is visually appealing. Overall, we were very disappointed with our visit – especially given the promising menu. Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant.

We were here for the second time. Unfortunately, it is repeatedly confirmed that the so-called “chains” are weakening more and more. Same here... it started when we wanted to reserve a table for 6 people for my aunt's 60th birthday. They said that this wasn't necessary and that there would always be something free. So it would have been very annoying if this hadn't worked. The ordering process is similar to a canteen, as you have to order and pick up food and drinks yourself. The quality of the food is good and we enjoyed everything. The drinks were missing a lot of ingredients, such as basil for a basil smash. In my opinion, something like that shouldn't happen on an early Saturday evening, or the cocktail shouldn't be offered then. In addition, some cocktails only tasted like pure alcohol. let's come to the toilets... even at the beginning they weren't very clean, towels to dry off were put next to the sink, so they got damp and you couldn't actually use them. At the end of the evening the toilet resembled a club, no soap or towels left, lots of rubbish on the floor. I am aware that not everything goes well with a “chain” and this size, but unfortunately we were very disappointed except for the food. There probably won't be another visit.

According to that, you have to choose food from an extremely confusing online menu, order it yourself at the terminal, and pick it up yourself. It's not bad, but it's so seasoned that less spice covers everything.

A restaurant with no service. The customer has to do everything (except the cooking). I intended having breakfast and a nice coffee. But my patient ended even before I’ve managed to order any food. Ordering is such a complicated process. It requires too much energy for a Sunday morning. I’ve paid the coffee, the only thing I’ve managed to order on the “do it yourself complicated system” and just left the restaurant.

There were seven of us there. We ordered starters and main courses, including a salad as a main course. The food is really delicious, but the starters were only ready long after the main courses, and the salad was last. If that doesn't bother you, you can eat deliciously here, although the volume is increased due to the size of the restaurant and the room concept.

When we came in, we were handed two cards without a word and not asked if we knew the concept, let alone explained it. When we had a question about the food, the man in the kitchen looked at us annoyed. There is room for improvement! Food: The taste of the food was great! The food was excellent. We were given a voucher for the restaurant. Unfortunately, he was rudely rejected at the checkout because he was too old. I found that to be a disgrace because there was no expiry date on the 5-year-old voucher. If you consume almost €80 and have loyal customers, I think you can accept a €20 voucher, even if it's old.
