We like to come to the beer garden in summer. The food is good and the seating is comfortable. But the restaurant is also nice and the food is OK. It would be nice if cards other than EC were also accepted.

Always very friendly and accommodating. The food is mostly excellent, but twice I was dissatisfied. That one time was a while ago, but even the house and chef confirmed that it wasn't OK. But it's really the exception, otherwise I would have given it a full five stars. Yesterday it was excellent again.

Was there the second time. Once in winter and today in the beer garden. I would have rated a better visit to the interior in winter. Today's impression follows. We were informed that the meal would take 45 minutes. At 6 p.m. there was no more potato salad. Very unfortunate. OK. After more than an hour the food came. It was just too long. It wasn't even completely full. 2 hours if completely full? I didn't think it was that good. You could have said that when you made the reservation. It's definitely a nice place to sit and the food was very good. Only come if you really have time. Parking spaces are free and public next door. There is a small sandpit for the children

The food came after 1.15 hours The sauerbraten meat was lukewarm and burnt in patches and it was too expensive for the portion and the prices were not friendly

Beautiful beer garden with old trees. However, the prices have been raised massively. It has become very expensive for a self-service restaurant. The toilet (men's) was very dirty and the cubicle door to the toilet could not be locked. Adjusting prices upwards is OK, but everything around it has to fit.

On a business trip, looking for traditional, regional food. Found: Cozy beer garden with great and friendly service. The food is really delicious and the Franconian beer is of course first class. As a North German: Absolute recommendation

A great beer garden where you can have a pleasant conversation and have a cool drink. Unfortunately, our rump steak (5 people) was more than “done”. That was very, very far from Medium. Shame on the poor animal. Update July 9th, 2024: We were there again and we had the “Schnitzel Chelsea”, the XXL Schnitzel Benno and the shrimp salad. Everything was very delicious. In the end, the large schnitzel was a little too big (500g!) That's why the meal gets one more star!

Very nice location with a great beer garden. As nature lovers, there should be a larger selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Went to the beer garden on a Saturday evening. Had to wait an hour for a schnitzel that was beaten to death. The service was friendly and apologized for the long wait, but the food was pure disappointment. The schnitzel was actually an overpriced breaded sheet of paper that was beaten so thin. The neighboring table waited 1 1/2 hours for food. Another table had their money returned. If the beer garden had been packed, people might have been understanding, but that wasn't the case. The waitresses are really nice and friendly but waiting an hour in the beer garden for a schnitzel... well

Good, tasty food, from homely to sophisticated. All dishes were freshly prepared and cooked to perfection.

I've eaten there many times, even if it was a bit more expensive. The beer garden is very nice. Staff very friendly. My first visit this year was very disappointing. Despite being more expensive, the portions have shrunk again and in our opinion the quality has also suffered. The meat was dry, the sauce was definitely out of the package, the vegetarian burger was miserable for over 15 euros. A cool drink will definitely work again, but that's about it.

Although the meal took a long time to arrive, it was still tasty. The big problem is beer. The beer they serve can be classified as standard at most, with no characteristic that is striking or can make it stand out; I got the first one even though I wanted to have one more, but it wasn't worth it. 06/09/2024 - I came back here, but not by choice, I came as a guest. I was able to see that things are only getting worse: the Biergarten is empty and I've been waiting for more than 30 minutes for food. This time at least I was smarter, I didn't order that bad beer.

We had reserved confirmation & a table for a small group inside. The table wasn't even set according to standard! Black, scratched tables without a tablecloth 🫣😬that shouldn't be the case, the table benches were also broken. When we asked if we could at least have a tablecloth over the ugly table when we went to the café, we were told: but that costs extra! I've never experienced anything like that! Unfortunately, the Italian restaurant I had booked canceled at short notice, tablecloths are standard and on special occasions they are beautifully set at no extra charge. In the Naturfreundehaus the table looked very bland...only cutlery with cheap paper napkins 👎🏻 Unfortunately there was no café in Kannen & Kännchen for cake. The candles were only lit when requested. We were the only guests in the inn. I give 2 to 3 stars for the food. Luckily there are much better restaurants! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the table 😬

I don't want to complain, but it used to be a top place to enjoy good German cuisine.

We found this restaurant by chance and, due to the good weather, sat down in the beer garden. Since it was during the week, there was enough space there. The menu was very diverse and just reading it whetted your appetite! We were not disappointed, the food tasted excellent and was very filling. The waitresses were also very nice. In short, the visit was absolutely worth it and we would love to come back!

Sauerbraten came with red cabbage even though it was marked with savoy cabbage. The portion was a laughing stock at the price of €18.90! 2 slices of meat and 2 mini dumplings. The last time we tried to order food by calling, no one answered. That was definitely the very last time. Although you can't complain about the taste! We went home hungry...

I had dinner there on a Friday around 2:30 p.m. There were 4 tables occupied and the ladies gave me a warm welcome. The schnitzel was fantastic. Everything fine. Pictures say more than a thousand words👌

Absolutely not recommended for people with food allergies! Despite calling beforehand, no consideration was given. The staff reacted angrily and inconsiderately.

So the rooms are very tight. The food is great and you probably need to make a reservation. The room temperature takes some getting used to but the menu makes you forget everything.

We went to the Naturfreundehaus for dinner on December 28th, 2023. It was a very beautiful evening. We had two goose and one fish dish. The food was extremely good. I would like to highlight the very friendly service Thy. Many greetings from Darmstadt in Hesse.

Essen gut. Man ißt im Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung - und dann eine große Weinschorle für 7,50 € .... Nun gut. Es werden auch wieder Zeiten kommen, in denen Gastwirte hinterfragen was ein mafktgerechter Preis ist - wenn sie dann noch da sind.

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das ist sehr gutes gutbürgerliches Essen. Vegetarische Optionen verfügbar und Kartenzahlung möglich. Personal ist außergewöhnlich freundlichen und zuvorkommend. Immer wieder gerne.

Ein Schnitzel gegessen. Leider kein Beilagensalat und für das nicht bestellte Ketchup, dass dann auf den Teller lag, wurde 0,40€ für eine kleines Päckchen verrechnet.

Ich war äußerst angenehm überrascht nach dem wir in Bamberg nirgends was bekommen hatten entschieden wir uns auf dem Heimweg in Schweinfurt was zu essen und es hat sich echt gelohnt. Das Essen war Super zum guten Preis. Kann es nur empfehlen für die lebkuchensosse gebe ich sogar 5 Sterne. Wirkt von draußen etwas rustikal aber innen top.

Es war sehr lecker und auch ausreichend. Lange kein Sauerbraten gegessen. Selbst Bedienung. Aber kein Problem. Das Restaurant ist in Schweinfurt etwas schwer zufinden . Aber mit Navi ist alles zufinden.

Sehr leckere griechische Küche. Gastfreundliches Personal. Extrawünsche werden berücksichtigt.. Fantastische Aussicht!

Schöner einladener Biergarten am Rand der City von Schweinfurt, ich würde sagen ein Geheimtipp für Auswärtige der Fußweg dorthin hat sich gelohnt. Mir hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Es ist für jeden etwas dabei.

Essen geschmacklich sehr gut und reichhaltig. Der Biergarten ist schön und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Pommes Frites werden in einem Metallkörbchen serviert und schmecken absolut super! Ein Punkt Abzug wegen der Getränkeabholung! Das im Voraus an der Kasse bestellte Essen wird an den Tisch gebracht, aber meistens ist dann das erste Getränk schon leer und man muss sich dann erneut anstellen oder gezwungener Massen verzichten! Update 23.04.23 Mittagessen im Lokal. Das Essen hat hervorragend geschmeckt und kam zügig und hübsch angerichtet auf den Tisch. Die Bedienung war zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich! Die so genannte Roulade kann ich allerdings nicht mehr empfehlen es sei denn sie essen gerne vegan! Sie besteht aus einer hauchdünnen Rindfleischhülle gefüllt mit jeder Menge Karotten welche in einer Roulade nichts zu suchen haben!

Wir waren an einem Freitag Abend da. Der Biergarten war noch gut besucht . Wie in den meisten biergärten Selbstbedienung. Nur das Essen wurde an den Tisch gebracht . Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis beim Essen fand ich nicht gerechtfertigt. Geschmack war ausreichend und Menge war durchschnittlich. In schweinfurt gibt's da leider bessere . Die Servicedamen waren dafür sehr nett und freundlich.

Wir (2Personen) kamen neulich eigentlich durch Zufall hierher zum Essen, bekamen auch noch einen Platz i. schönen Biergarten. Das man das ausgesuchte Essen sowie Getränke an der überdachten Theke bestellen muss, macht uns nix aus. Mein Gott Leute, es gibt schlimmeres... überrascht waren wir dann, wie lecker das Essen schmeckt. Es is' hier eine entspannte Atmosphäre, die Bedienungen gucken regelmäßig nach leere Teller u. Gläser u. fragen, ob sie diese abräumen dürfen. Auch wenn das eine od. andere Gericht vom Preis her mal etwas teurer is', dann bleibt zuhause u. meckert nicht ständig rum. Uns gefällt und schmeckt es hier

Ich habe am 04.07.23 - 5 Essen von der To Go Karte bestellt, das Einzige was gut dabei war, dass das Essen zum Abholzeitpunkt fertig war. Es war nicht der erste Besuch im Naturfreundehaus, bin seit 30 Jahren in Schweinfurt und wir waren immer mit dem Essen zufrieden, dieses Mal war es eine Katastrophe.... Essen 1 - Currywurst, auf Anfrage hiess es die Currywurst ist ne Bockwurst, was sich dann natürlich als Bratwurst herausstellte.... Essen 2 - Salat mit Hähnchenstreifen, lieblos angemacht und verpackt Essen 3 - Vegane Schnitzel, wo sich keiner sicher war, ob die wirklich vegan waren Essen 4 - Schnitzel mit irgendeiner Hollandaise Sauce, was dem Ganzen einen negativen Touch gegeben hat... Essen 5 - Bennos 500 Gramm XXL - Riesenschnitzel sollte eigentlich laut Karte mit Bratkartoffeln sein - was war statt dessen dabei, eine Kartoffelsalatsuppe, was anderes kann man dazu nicht sagen, wässrig wie eine Suppe und wahrscheinlich aus irgend einem Fertig Eimer.... Fazit: das war erstmal das letzte Mal - dass ich dort gegessen oder was abgeholt habe!!!

Ich war über ca. 15 Jahre immer mal so 2x/Jahr da...so auch dieses Mal spontan zum frühzeitigen Abendessen. Der Biergarten war wie immer, etwas rustikal und leicht zuluftig, aber bei schönem Wetter unter den Bäumen das Mittel der Wahl. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Speisekarte war seit dem letzten Besuch schon deutlich ausgedünnt. Kann man machen, wenn man auf Frische und Qualität setzt. Das Essen hat trotz um ca. 16 Uhr wenig Kunden eine Weile gedauert aber geht, wenn es frisch zubereitet ist. Ich habe hier meist das gleiche Gericht (Schnitzel alla chiesa) gegessen. War dieses Mal dann eher eine negative Überraschung; nur noch das blanke überbackene Schnitzel + Pommes ohne die geringste Deko, so habe ich es nicht in Erinnerung. Die Überbackung etwas matschig aus Ei und Käse...Am Ende war ich durchaus pappsatt, aber eher nur vollgestopft. Schade, ich bin eigentlich immer gern da hin gegangen...

Nettes Ambiente, freundliche Bedingung, gute fränkische Küche zu angemessenen Preisen. Tisch besser vorbestellen

Das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet und wird vom freundlichen Service serviert. Es schmeckt einfach immer, egal was man auswählt. Und im Sommer lockt der Biergarten. Einfach herrlich!
