Naturfreundehaus Schweinfurt in Schweinfurt

Es war super. Beim Anruf teilte man uns mit, dass wir in den Biergarten müssten. Als wir kamen fing es gerade zu regnen an und wir wurden gebeten reinzugehen. Fand ich echt aufmerksam. Das Essen kam schnell und war lecker. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und freundlich.

Ich habe im Biergarten sehr ruhig und gemütlich gesessen. Hier herscht Selbstbedienung was aber nicht schlimm ist. Das Essen wird nach dem es frisch zubereitet wurde, an den Tisch gebracht und das Geschirr wurde wieder abgeräumt. Mein Cordon Bleu war geschmacklich sehr gut. Lediglich einen Beilagensalat hätte ich mir bei dem Preis von 19,80€ gewünscht.

Sehr schöner Biergarten mit super leckerem Essen. 😄☀️☀️ Bei super schönem Wetter sollte man vorreservieren. Selbstbedienung bei der Essens- und Getränkebestellung an Schalter, funktioniert top. 👏👏👍 Getränke kann man sofort mitnehmen, das Essen wird an den Tisch gebracht. Alles sehr sauber. Kann ich nur empfehlen, jederzeit gerne wieder.

Netter schattige Biergarten. Gutes Essen großes Angebot in der Karte aber auch von Tagesgerichten. Das Pfifferling Cordon Bleu ist sehr zu empfehlen! Leider keine Kartenzahlung. Nur EC bzw. Girocard.

Sehr enttäuschende Geschäftsführung. Helles nicht mehr nötig, mit Kritik von gestern umzugehen. Über 1 Stunde aufs Essen warten und dann werden Reklamation nicht angenommen. Ich kann den Laden leider keinen empfehlen.

Wir sind durch Zufall im Naturfreundehaus gelandet und wurden so freundlich empfangen wie schon lange nicht mehr. Super netter und zuvorkommender Service. Tolle aktuelle Zusatzspeisekarte mit Bärlauch Variationen. Richtig leckeres Essen! Da hat einfach alles gepasst. Wir werden sicherlich wieder kommen! Danke an das ganze Team. Insbesondere auch dem "unsichtbarem" in der Küche!

Wir waren nun bereits zum dritten Mal bei Ihnen, leider erneut mit enttäuschender Erfahrung. Beim vorletzten Besuch wurde mein Essen komplett vergessen. Gestern mussten wir über eine Stunde auf unser Essen warten, ohne vorher darüber informiert zu werden, dass es aufgrund einer größeren Gesellschaft zu Verzögerungen kommen könnte. Das Fleisch war zwar sehr gut, jedoch waren die Spätzle trocken und kalt, ebenso die Soße. Insgesamt hat uns der Besuch leider nicht überzeugt. Wir hatten Ihnen noch einmal eine Chance geben wollen, müssen aber nun sagen, dass es für uns das letzte Mal war.

Wenn wir aus Stuttgart her fahren , kommen wir immer hier her! Das Essen ist hervorragend und die Kellnerinnen sind so zuvor kommend und wahnsinnig nett und helfen sehr gerne bei allen möglichen Fragen. Absolute Empfehlung!!!!

War sehr überrascht... Tolle deutsche Küche mit viel Stiel und hoher Qualität im anrichten und zubereiten der Gerichte. Die Rinderroulade sowie das Dessert waren spitzenmäßig. Das Ambiente sehr angenehm. Danke nochmal, werde es immer weiterempfehlen!

Sehr guter und netter Service, mir wurde sogar 15 min früher der Biergarten geöffnet damit ich das schöne wetter genießen konnte, Vielen dank dafür. Die bestellten Käsespätzle waren ausgezeichnet und eine Empfehlung wert.

Ein gepflegtes Lokal mitten in der Stadt. Es werden deutsche Speisen angeboten, handwerklich einwandfrei gekocht und schön serviert. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind fair. Man sollte reservieren. Parkplätze gibt es 50 m entfernt. Fazit: Eine Empfehlung von mir für alle, die gepflegt essen möchten in angenehmem Ambiente.

Rumpsteak medium rear bestellt, well done bekommen. Koch scheinbar so unprofessionell und fühlt sich angegriffen, haben auf einmal kein Rumpsteak mehr gehabt. Sonst immer zufrieden gewesen, aber sowas ist unprofessionell. Ich empfehle es nicht mehr.

Geburtstagsfeier mit circa 20 Personen - Essen großartig - obwohl à la carte, nur kurze Wartezeit! - Service professionell, sehr freundlich und persönlich => Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, gerne wieder! Hinweis: Anfrage und Abstimmung bezüglich größerer Veranstaltung am besten persönlich und vor Ort. Die sympathischen Damen machen das kompetent und zuverlässig. Nachtrag: Wir hatten ursprünglich in der Gaststätte einer ehemaligen Schweinfurter Traditions-Brauerei am Marktplatz gebucht. Die dortigen Verantwortlichen hatten sich jedoch durch Arroganz, unflexibles Verhalten und Nichteinhaltung von Absprachen nachhaltig disqualifiziert. Der Wechsel zum Naturfreundehaus hat sich in jeder Hinsicht gelohnt.

Das Ambiente draußen ist ein echt Typischer Biergarten, das Essen war sehr lecker 😋.

Das leckerste Schäufle im Frankenland in einem schönen Biergarten. Vergessen hab ich das Helle, ein Muß.

The food tasted very good. You order and pay directly to the waiter, and then the food is delivered directly to your table.

The garden is beautiful, with lots of shade from trees. There is a small sandbox for kids to play in with toys as well. The ordering is straightforward and easy to get drinks. However, for food the wait was more than 1.5 hours. Staff was friendly. Parking in a nearby lot was full, however street parking is possible as well.

I can definitely recommend it. One downside is the chairs, which are unfortunately often found in beer gardens. They're uncomfortable and don't exactly invite you to linger for long.

At 8:15 p.m., we were still looking for a beer garden and found one at the Naturfreundehaus. Although the garden was busy, we were still able to snag a nice spot. The staff was very friendly, the food came quickly, and it was delicious. Fresh ingredients and very good quality. We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful, cozy beer garden with excellent food. All our dishes were delicious, especially the super crispy fries! Standing in line for orders can be a bit annoying at times, but the food is brought to your table promptly, and the waiters then clear away the empty plates. The large sandpit with toys for the kids is also very nice!

I'm a fan of the Naturfreundehaus, and so is my mother. The food is very good and affordable, the service is friendly, and the garden is beautiful. Also good: the restrooms are so narrow that my 81-year-old mother can't fall over. And neither can I, after five Hellenes.

A group of 10 of us went to dinner last Friday evening around 6:00 p.m. After placing our orders and paying, the side salad for my meal (grilled lumberjack steak with fried potatoes) arrived after about 20 minutes. After about an hour, everyone had their food except me. Some had already finished. When I asked the waiter, they said, "It's coming right up." After another 30 minutes, everyone had finished their meals, and my meal finally arrived. No apology or anything else. Of course, you can forget a meal sometimes, but at the very latest, when I asked for the second time and the food was brought at 7:30 p.m., I would have expected an apology as the bare minimum. But I wasn't alone; two other guests had also been waiting a very long time. The food itself was okay, but the steak was definitely from the pan. I don't think 1:30 hours is appropriate for such creative finesse. It's a shame, especially since this is the second and last time I'll be in this restaurant.

Went to the beer garden today. It's a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a chat. The cordon bleu was a generous portion and tasted excellent. The service was very attentive, so you'll gladly leave a tip.

A nice beer garden with a cozy atmosphere. The service is okay. The food used to be better, I think. I was looking forward to a fresh baked potato with chicken, salad, and sour cream. Everything except the potato was wonderful, but it was obviously not fresh and had been reheated yesterday or whenever. To charge over €16 for it is pretty cheeky. My last salad was also, unfortunately, more than bland in taste and was floating in water... I really remembered the food being better. What a shame!

At lunchtime during the week with a group of 20 people (with a reservation), we had to wait a very long time for our food (well over an hour, some of the group waited 1.5 hours). The food was good for most of the people. The meat portions were very large, while the vegetarian and fish dishes were rather small. The beer garden is located in a residential area and isn't comparable to the usual beer gardens in Franconia, which are usually very nicely located. Only for drinks, but totally fine, as it's self-service.

Be careful, it's extremely overpriced! Schnitzel with fries €17.90. No side salad without ketchup - that costs 0.60 cents extra! All the food we ate was mediocre at best. Service was half-friendly - we won't be back.

The food is excellent, but it's self-service and it takes a long time to make drinks. The staff serving drinks are a bit unfriendly. A lot of leaves are falling from the trees, and everything goes into the drinks and food. The restrooms are very cramped, and there's no paper towels.

We sat outside in the beer garden one summer afternoon. The food was good, but unfortunately, we had to wait an hour and a half for our food. The entrance says that if it's busy, you'll have to wait longer for your food. The beer garden wasn't even half full, though, so we didn't consider it a big rush.

I was absolutely surprised to find such a beer garden in the center of Schweinfurt. It's quietly located, with plenty of parking nearby. Great food with the right atmosphere... more than enough free seats... sometimes the line for drinks was a bit long, and the lovely waitress even brought our drinks to our table. 🪴👍😇❤️

Terribly unfriendly staff. We were in the beer garden with a large group in the afternoon, with 30 degrees Celsius. There was a table that was clearly too small for 11 people, and another that was in the sun. When we asked if we could add a free table to the smaller one, we received an unfriendly "no." Then we asked the two waitresses if they would open the parasol at the larger table. That didn't work either. We were told to just sit at the small table and put the chairs there. We then left together. Apparently, the waitresses' smoking break is more important here, and they can probably do without the revenue of a group of 11 people, and apparently also without any service and friendliness.

The food is good. But a 0.5-liter wine spritzer for €8.90 (!!) is simply outrageous—especially since it's self-service.

Over the years we have eaten at the Naturfreundeshaus and found it to be slightly better than average. This time we found it extremely loud and crowded. We could hear several different conversations from other tables but had difficulty hearing our table-mates. The room has bare walls and windows so there is nothing to disperse or lower the noise level. In the past we found the food a little better than average. This time I got the impression that the kitchen chose a much lower quality of meat than in the past but served much larger portions of it. In our cases half the portion size of better quality meat would have been more appropriate!! The thing that annoyed me the most is that for the first time in my 80 years I was charged for one tiny plastic bag of ketchup and another 65 cents for an un-ordered packet of mayonaise! Even a street vender would not do that!! It is such an unfriendly gesture!!!

Unfortunately, half the menu consists of convenience food. I had a soup with several dumplings, none of which were homemade. The dessert, "nougat dumplings," was also convenience food. Therefore, the price/performance ratio is not appropriate. You could eat at home. However, the chef conjures up a true work of art on the plate – truly beautifully decorated and presented.

We ordered takeout. Everything was ready at the agreed time and warm enough to eat warm at home during our visit. Our shoulder of pork was delicious and crispy, and plentiful.

We were in the beer garden. I don't know what the restaurant looks like. Food was very tasty and the portions were very large. The service was very nice. Highly recommended - we will come again :)

We went here for dinner last night. The table was ordered 14 days ago and everything went smoothly. The service is on point, very friendly and even though there was a big celebration taking place in the large hall next door, we were served quickly and always in a friendly manner by attentive service staff. The food itself was very, very tasty and easily digestible. The plates were by no means overloaded and the portions were more than enough even for good eaters. A regular menu and a daily menu are available to choose from. There is a good selection available for vegetarians and vegans and all those who would like to eat meat-free! We were in this restaurant for the second time yesterday and would love to come back. Both the service, the location and the food can be recommended with a clear conscience. Ample parking spaces are also available.

Waren mit 10 Leuten der Grossfamilie zum Abendessen und staunten über die ambitionierten Preise. Was auf den Tisch kam, war ordentlich, sah nach zugekauftem Produkt von Bofrost und Co. aus. Da gehen wir sicherlich nicht wieder hin.

We like to come to the beer garden in summer. The food is good and the seating is comfortable. But the restaurant is also nice and the food is OK. It would be nice if cards other than EC were also accepted.

Always very friendly and accommodating. The food is mostly excellent, but twice I was dissatisfied. That one time was a while ago, but even the house and chef confirmed that it wasn't OK. But it's really the exception, otherwise I would have given it a full five stars. Yesterday it was excellent again.

Was there the second time. Once in winter and today in the beer garden. I would have rated a better visit to the interior in winter. Today's impression follows. We were informed that the meal would take 45 minutes. At 6 p.m. there was no more potato salad. Very unfortunate. OK. After more than an hour the food came. It was just too long. It wasn't even completely full. 2 hours if completely full? I didn't think it was that good. You could have said that when you made the reservation. It's definitely a nice place to sit and the food was very good. Only come if you really have time. Parking spaces are free and public next door. There is a small sandpit for the children

Beautiful beer garden with old trees. However, the prices have been raised massively. It has become very expensive for a self-service restaurant. The toilet (men's) was very dirty and the cubicle door to the toilet could not be locked. Adjusting prices upwards is OK, but everything around it has to fit.

The Greek food was very delicious. My Thai wife and me enjoyed German beer, Calamari and Big White Beans. Price performance is very good.
