Natthanicha Thai Küche in Mannheim

Das Essen ist lecker, aber jetzt nichts außergewöhnliches. War mittags da und es gab nur die Mittagskarte. Der Preis für die Menge ist schon gehoben.

Schönes Thai Restaurant. Wir hatten nichts reseviert und bekamen dennoch einen Platz. Es war voll!

Wir waren gestern dort Thai essen und geschmacklich muss ich sagen: Die Soßen und das Gemüse waren wirklich lecker. Leider hat uns die Portionsgröße aber ziemlich enttäuscht. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Wantan-Taschen (5 Stück) und Frühlingsrollen für 7,90 € – hier gab es gerade mal 3 kleine Stücke, was wir ehrlich gesagt ziemlich wenig fanden. Bei den Hauptgerichten wurde zu allen drei Gerichten jeweils nur eine kleine Portion Reis serviert. Das ist uns schon beim letzten Besuch aufgefallen: Selbst als wir damals nur zu zweit dort waren, gab es dieselbe Menge Reis wie diesmal für drei Hauptgerichte. Wir mussten daher Reis nachbestellen – natürlich gegen Aufpreis. Besonders enttäuschend war mein vegetarisches Pad Thai. Geschmacklich gut, aber die Portion war wirklich sehr klein. Es waren vielleicht fünf kleine Stückchen Tofu enthalten und obwohl ich zusätzlich eine Vorspeise hatte, wurde ich von meinem Hauptgericht nicht satt. Das ist mir in einem Restaurant tatsächlich noch nie passiert. Zum Glück war bei den anderen Gerichten noch etwas übrig, sodass ich am Ende bei meiner Partnerin mitessen konnte und doch noch satt geworden bin. Schade, denn geschmacklich hätte das Restaurant definitiv Potenzial. Aber gerade bei Reis sollte man aus unserer Sicht nicht so sparen.

Leider sehr teuer zusammen mit relativ kleinen Portionen im Vergleich zu meiner Heimat-Stadt.....aber sehr gut gekochte Gerichte. Deshalb ein Stern weniger.

Ich versteh nicht warum der Laden so gute Bewertungen hat. Ich fand’s nicht so toll. Musste ewig warten und das Essen war auch mittelmäßig. Die Frau ist aber sehr nett und rackert sich alleine einen ab.

Super authentische Thai Küche, top Service und eine sehr nette Inhaberin. Wir sind Stammkunden und immer sehr zufrieden.

Leckeres Angebot für den Mittagstisch mit reduzierter Karte. Alle Speisen sehr fein gewürzt und abgeschmeckt - auch die nicht so scharfen. Tellergericht mit großem Softdrink für ca. 15 Euro.

Für mich super lecker! Also definitiv komme ich wieder. Sehr netter und lieber Service. Die Damen sind sehr sehr freundlich. Das Essen Sau lecker und das Ambiente absolut top! Absolute Empfehlung

Bestes Thai-Restaurant weit und breit! Das Essen ist unglaublich authentisch und geschmacklich einfach TOP! Man fühlt sich jedes Mal wie in Thailand. Der Service ist immer freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, und das Ambiente rundet das Ganze perfekt ab. Ich bin mindestens einmal pro Woche hier und komme jedes Mal wieder gerne. Absolute Empfehlung!

Wir sind zufällig vorbeigefahren und dachten uns: Lass uns mal thailändisch essen! Leute, das Essen war der Hammer – so aromatisch und lecker! Und die Bedienung war super freundlich. Wir haben es total genossen. Bis bald!

Langsamer und etwas unfreundlicher Service. Sehr lange Wartezeit bis das Essen kommt - wir haben eine Stunde nach Bestellung gewartet. Qualität hat auch über die letzten Jahren deutlich abgebaut, mache Gerichte sind aber auch etwas überteuert. Schade, wir waren mal oft und gern Gäste.

A cozy restaurant offering a lunch special for €13.50. For that price, you get a main course chosen from the lunch menu and a drink of your choice. You really can't go wrong with that. I was satisfied, and the food tasted exactly as you'd expect from Thai cuisine. The selection wasn't huge, but I think there's something for everyone. This review refers solely to the quality of the lunch special.

What these two women do is incredible. Very clean, incredibly delicious, and highly recommended! In a time when it's becoming increasingly difficult to find good restaurants, this is a ray of hope.

It was very uncomfortable and cold in the restaurant. The food was very salty—edible, but not really good. There are several restaurants in Mannheim where the Thai cuisine tastes significantly better. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Just a short walk away is the restaurant "Natthanicha Thai Küche." I/we have been here several times. The food is very good and highly recommended. The dining room is open, and the tables aren't too close together. Groups of companies or colleagues often come for lunch. The acoustics are also good. Drinks arrive quickly, but the food is always reasonable, depending on the kitchen's workload. I also often order takeout. The portions are generous and worth the money. Authentic Thai cuisine, but the portions are very small for the price! What a shame... We somewhat outsmarted the restaurant's concept (€25-30 per person) by "sharing," which is common in Thailand. It would also be nice if you received the bill for review, then paid by credit card (it's possible here!), and then tipped in cash. I hate shouting out the final amount to save on the cost of the receipt... Still, sawadekap!

Angeblich bester Thai in Mannheim, das kann ich in keiner Weise bestätigen. Es gibt bessere in der Schwetzinger Stadt. Das Restaurant war kalt und daher ungemütlich. Die Ente war alles andere als knusperig und die Sauce extrem soyalastig. Das ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Schade.

The portions have become much smaller and more expensive. The main course was quite good, the starter plate was fried for too long and didn't taste good. Service was overloaded and so you always had to wait a long time and sat there with empty drinks

Good cuisine, we both ordered green curry, mine normal and my friend medium hot, unfortunately my friend's was too hot. Otherwise it was still very tasty, my duck was great, one of the best I've eaten so far. Portion of rice could be larger for the price. I can definitely recommend it in terms of taste.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is well maintained and dignified. Despite no reservations, common space was created for six people by moving tables. The food was very good, if you like it spicy you can also use "spicy - 3x chili" as a Central European. Various dishes, soups and desserts met our taste. Absolutely recommended.

Discovered while walking. Small but very nice Thai restaurant. We were there for lunch and were absolutely thrilled. The portions are a decent size. Everything is freshly prepared. The taste is simply great. We also had the homemade iced tea with lemon 🍋 This is also freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. We'll be back! Our recommendation!

Really really good food! Everything is just right here. Quality and quantity are excellent. All of our dishes were absolutely to our liking - the selectable levels of spiciness were also very good. Great, super unfriendly service. The cuisine was never particularly impressive compared to other similar restaurants in Mannheim. Unfortunately, the Natthanicha was suddenly no longer open at lunchtime and was also closed very often... it kept saying on the door that it was closed for holidays. Now we finally managed to find the shop open and had to deal with an incredibly unfriendly person - probably the owner. No greeting at the entrance, we were simply left standing without saying a word...harassed when we dared to ask what was going on...and once we finally weren't served at the table at all. After what seemed like an eternity no one showed up, we left the restaurant because the cuisine here isn't that great to justify such behavior. Then you go to the Italian, which is much more professional. We really recommend that the unfriendly lady change her job because she obviously doesn't feel like doing it anymore.

Ein kleines, nettes Thai Restaurant, kurz um die Ecke - die Bedienung war sehr nett, man kann sich dort wohl fühlen. Jedoch war der Fisch leider nicht knusprig, eher weich und die Teller waren nicht schön angerichtet. Da bin ich leider anderes gewöhnt. Daher für mich persönlich nur 3 Punkte - aber das ist natürlich Ansichtssache. Ich war spontan mit meinem Freund hier und habe die 76 gegessen Fisch (knusprig) mit Baby-Mais, Gemüse und Cashewnüssen in Austernsoße. Toll fande ich, dass wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch bekommen haben. Wir waren auch relativ früh da.

The pictures of the place looked simple to me online. When you visit the restaurant you are very pleasantly surprised. It is stylishly furnished and the service is very courteous and polite. The food was very tasty and you could see that it was prepared with great attention to detail. We were there again a few days later and everything was great again. This Thai restaurant is now one of our favorites.

Very tasty food but incompetent service. Ordered a beef dish over the phone and was told when I picked it up that beef was sold out and I could take something else with me. When I asked why I wasn't told this on the phone, I was told "I have no idea". There wasn't even a goodwill offer made, so I went there for free. This is how you lose regular customers.
