Very tasty, rustic but pleasant atmosphere, prices okay—not super cheap but not extremely expensive either. Authentic Thai food. Unfortunately, cash only.

We stopped here for lunch today while looking for good Thai food. The food was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and the price was reasonable. We felt very comfortable and received a warm welcome and service. We'd be happy to come back.

Locos fried chicken or kocos is self-explanatory, right? If you'd rather have oil-soaked "croquettes" and way too much breaded chicken, then Loco fried chicken is the better choice. ;) Go to kocos, it's worth it for the price. It tastes and looks just like the pictures.

A beautiful, cozy restaurant with fantastic food. We were here with friends. We were impressed by all the dishes we had that evening – absolutely delicious! Highly recommended

Absolutely incredible! I had the shrimp fried rice and a lemonade and I can't remember the last time I ate something as delicious as the fried rice! The lemonade was very refreshing, too, and the food came out in about 10 minutes. The service was great, as well. The waiters/waitresses were genuinely friendly. If I had to criticize something, it would be the fact that there is no outdoor seating and that you can only pay cash. But the food itself? 10/10!

I came across this restaurant by chance and can only recommend it with full conviction. I ate there with colleagues 3 evenings in a row because it was close to our hotel. If you want authentic Thai food, this is the place for you. If desired, it can also be prepared in Thai style. The fact that we were there three evenings in a row and there were no discussions about trying another restaurant speaks for itself. For a soup as a starter, a main course and an iced tea we paid €25 each including a tip, which is completely reasonable. It is important to know that card payments are not possible here.

Unfortunately, not so authentic. Pad Thai with glass noodles? The curry was watery. Cash only.

Very delicious food that impresses with both quality and quantity. You get excellent meals for your money here, and they more than satisfied us. The value for money is truly top-notch! But please note that (unfortunately) card payments are not accepted. On weekends, I would recommend reserving a table in advance, as the restaurant is rather small. Amazing place with amazing people! An old couple owns the place and they make their food with all their heart and love. We went a bit late there, half hour before closing so there was literally no one else in the restaurant and we got the whole place to ourselves. The food was great and the vibe is immaculate with some Thai songs playing in the background! I would highly recommend the Thai Ice tea with lemon or milk. Tastes simply wonderful and compliments the food. Do note that it is a CASH ONLY PAYMENT place. I had to go out and withdraw some from an ATM. The owners do say yes to a direct bank transfer but only if the money arrives immediately.

I haven't had such bad Asian food in a long time. I have no idea why the store was rated so well. All the dishes contained far too much glutamate and the service wasn't that good either.

I've never felt so much at home 100 km from home. Really very nice, cozy and very very tasty! However, you should reserve in advance - which we didn't know because we discovered the restaurant spontaneously. We'd love to come back when we're in Mannheim again :)

I like the Tom Yum fish soup (lots of fish) and the fried duck with rice is also good, you can quietly enjoy your lunch alone. The duck was crispy and didn't get cold because they heated it with candles, which was nice. It's interesting that this restaurant emphasizes cash only payment everywhere, is it because they don't want to pay the credit card swipe fee?

Cool staff. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is homey. I want to come back again and again. There are chairs for small children. We took a set for two (soup, fish and chicken with nuts. It cost about 45 euros. Soups are 5-7 euros each. Payment is only in cash🤷 ♀️

The food was actually a bit salty for authentic taste but i guess they adjusted to the local's tastes which is fine. But the point is the staff was kinda rude to the group of Chinese students when they complained that the food was too salty was a bit unprofessional, they said in Thai "it's my restaurant,i can do what i want" kinda makes me don't want to come back ever again

Total leckeres Thai Restaurant mitten in Mannheim. Für einen Abend mit Freunden kann man hier sehr gut essen gehen. Geschäftlich für dich es nicht als erste Anlaufstelle präferieren, dass innen etwas „rudimentär“ ausgestaltet ist. Das Essen und der Service exzellent. Absolute Food-Empfehlung!

Wir waren am Sonntag Mittag zu dritt zu Gast im Koko. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt, und die Preise waren fair, besonders für die Getränke. Übriges konnten wir problemlos mitnehmen - die Bezahlung war nur in Bar möglich.

Wow.. it is the best Thai Restaurant I've ever been in Mannheim. Food are so delicious, the service is really top. Now I know where to enjoy good Thai-Food.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Der Service sehr aufmerksam und professionell, Punkte muss ich jedoch leider abziehen da keine Kartenzahlung möglich ist. No Go. Das Ambiente erinnert leider mehr an ein Nachtlokal denn an ein Speiselokal. Da man nur Bar zahlen kann werden wir dieses Restaurant nicht wieder besuchen.

Sehr nett und essen war super Lecker und eine große Portion. Ich würde gerne wieder kommen.

Alles in allem 4,5. hatten das Menu für zwei mit Ente und Schwein. Das Essen war lecker. Die supper war klasse. Den Nachtisch bitte nächstes mal mit frischem Fett frittieren. Das hat schon hart ranzig gerochen und war auch nicht mehr ganz so lecker. Das Menu lohnt sich meines Erachtens kaum. Nächstes mal versuche ich Pad Thai oder grünes Curry!

Innen echt gemütlich, und die Bedienung immer freundlich mit einem Lächeln unterwegs. Und das 3 Gänge Menü für 2 war einfach ein Traum. Vor allem hat mich die Intensität des Eistees gepackt. Ganz klar 3 mal 5 Sterne für mich!

Close to Hauptbahnhof. But the food is average at best. The taste was okay and portion was quite less for the price. Only recommend it if you need hot food nearby to the Hbf. They also do not take card payment.

Wir hatten einen sehr leckeren Vorspeisenteller, Huhn in einer Sauce mit Kokos,, Garnele, Meeresfrüchte, Gemüse in Tempura. Dann Ente, Huhn und Tilapia mit Gemüse. Alles Schmackhaft, frisch und gut gewürzt. Empfehlenswert, gehört zu den besseren Thais

Geschmacksexplosion! Der Weg zum Genuss nach Thailand. Das Essen wird in kleine ,,boote" reserviert . Ein Fest für die Augen ! Wer Asiatisch mag , wird Koko lieben. Aber auch diejenigen die nicht mit der Küche vertraut sind wie unsere Freunde, besuchen das Restaurant mittlerweile Regelmäßig. Wir können das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Guten Appetit 😋

Ich kenne kein Restaurant mit Thailändischen Essen das so gut schmeckt wie bei KoKo. Alle sind super freundlich, das Essen kann ich mich wiederholen ist sehr lecker. Service ist super ! Definitiv in Mannheim ein top Geheimtipp .

Hatte gebratenen Reis 🍚 (vegetarisch) zum abholen. War nicht günstig (aber Mannheim ist ohnehin teurer als meine hessische Heimat), aber dafür sehr lecker! Würde ich mir wieder holen.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal dort. Wer authentische thailändische Küche essen möchte kommt am Koko nicht vorbei. Abzüge in der B Note gibt es leider: - Parkplatzsituation ist eine Katastrophe aber gut das ist halt Monnem… - Ambiente ist … ausbaufähig. Aber authentisch 😊 Ich hatte zum Yam Woon Sen die Wan Tan die mit Süß Sauer Sauce kommen sollte. Ich esse gerne scharf, auch gerne reichlich - aber die „süß-sauer“ Sauce war heftig - als ich das dem Kellner gesagt habe hatte ich das Gefühl ich hätte mein Gesicht verloren, ich hab im Anschluss was anderes bekommen was geschmeckt hat wie Ketschup mit Wasser verdünnt… Auch meine - was scharfes Essen angeht- hartgesottenen Begleiter fanden die Sauce zu scharf. Mich stört halt nur dass die Info auf der Karte gefehlt hat, weil man rechnet da ja nicht mit. Laab Gai und der Yam Wonn Sen waren aber PERFEKT - besser bekommt man es auch nicht in Chiangmai 😍

Top Thai Essen schmeckt wie in Thailand Innenausstattung nicht berauschend. Aber es kommt aufs Essen an und das hat 5 Sterne absolut verdient.

Ein kleines, gemütliches Restaurant mit freundlicher und familiärer Atmosphäre. Wir essen hier regelmäßig und gerne. Die Karte enthält Gerichte für jeden Geschmack, auch für Vegetarier. Zu beachten: Nur Barzahlung möglich!

Het aantal bordjes met 'geen betaalkaarten' is overdreven. Gelukkig is het restaurant niet heel duur. Authentieke Thaise keuken in een kitscherig kader. De bediening is in het Duits. Lekker eten zonder meer.

Wir waren gleich zwei Abende hintereinander dort und waren begeistert. Das Essen ausgezeichnet, sehr frisch und authentisch und das Personal sehr freundlich. Ich würde sagen auf dem gleichen Niveau, wie unsere Thairestaurants in der Schweiz. Und dieses ist sehr hoch. Den Thailand ist für uns Schweizer eine der lieblings Urlaubsdestinationen.

Ein ziemlich authentische Thai in Bahnhofsnähe. Sehr sympathischer Service von der Chefin. Das Essen war lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Es lohnt sich durchaus hier einmal einzukehren, wenn man einfach nett essen möchte und kein großes Brimborium drumherum erwartet.

Authentischer geht es kaum. Nach anfänglicher Zurückhaltung der Chefin, war nach ein paar Worten Thai das Eis schnell gebrochen. Als das Essen kam, waren wir nach Thailand zurück versetzt. Wir hatten Papaya-Salat und gebratenen Reis mit Garnelen. Als wir dann noch nach Prik Nam Plah ( thailändische scharfe Fischsoße) fragten, hatten wir endgültig gewonnen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und authentisch.

Essen war ok, aber nicht herausragend. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Wantans, Frühlingsrollen und eine Suppe. Die ausgebackenen Sachen schmeckten wie aus dem Asia Laden, ok, aber nicht wie hausgemacht. Das Hauptgericht war lecker, Reis mussten wir nachbestellen, davon gab es etwas zu wenig. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Minus: keine Kartenzahlung möglich, keine Hunde erlaubt

Authentisches und sehr charmantes Thai Restaurant ganz in der Nähe zum Bahnhof. Das Essen war mega lecker und die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Die Preise sind angemessen. Wenn wir das nächste mal in Mannheim sind, kommen wir wieder.

Es liegt nicht weit vom Mannheimer Bahnhof entfernt- nicht von Fassade abschrecken lassen . Das Essen ist sehr lecker , alles frisch zubereitet und das Personal sehr freundlich. Preis - Leistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Wir sind durch Zufall hier gelandet , werden aber auf jeden Fall wieder kommen .

Man sollte sich nicht von der Fassade abschrecken lassen, im Koko bekommt man immer wunderbar leckeres Essen von echten Thais, die Bedienungen sind freundlich und die Portionen großzügig. Von den Vorspeisen, zur Ente zur Suppe können wir alles empfehlen und wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Das Essen ist immer frisch zubereitet. Bitte darauf achten, dass nur Barzahlung dort möglich ist!
