There were six of us eating there, and initially everything seemed fine. When I went to pay, the cashier told me they didn't accept card payments, and the same woman kindly explained where a nearby ATM was, so I went to withdraw some cash without further ado. When I returned, I discovered that the waitress had yelled at my aunt and her son when they briefly went into the shop across the street to ask something. This frightened my cousin so much that he started to cry. When I explained what had happened to the cashier, she apologized, which I greatly appreciated, but I was still very surprised by the waitress's reaction, especially since the restaurant itself had previously told me without hesitation that I could go to the ATM. Because of this experience, despite the meal, I felt uncomfortable with the service and am hesitant to return or recommend the restaurant.

I paid 10 euros, they had no cheese and didn't give me all my money back, only 5 euros!

The worst sushi I've had in a long time. The rice was tasteless and warm, and even the cucumber in the sushi was oddly cut. There was little choice, they skimped on expensive ingredients, and there was no salmon or avocado. Better to spend a few euros more and eat somewhere else.

The food tasted good. The service was very unfriendly; she wanted my plate even though she saw there was still sushi on it. I would give the service zero stars if I could. The ambiance itself was fine, but the floor and table were dirty.

One star is way too much for this sushi. We wanted to eat there again today. Two adults and two toddlers. The adults wanted all-you-can-eat, and we wanted the kids to pay for their meals. According to the employee, who showed a lot of disinterest, that wasn't possible. Everyone at the table had to eat the same thing. Either everyone had to eat all-you-can-eat or everyone had to pay for their meals. What is that supposed to mean? The sushi didn't even look that great. Lots and lots of rice and minimal filling. Buy your sushi somewhere else; you'll actually get something decent.

Unfortunately, you have to wait forever for food to arrive...if you're sitting in the wrong seat, you might have the misfortune of waiting up to 20 minutes for your fried food!

This is a joke, what they serve on these plates! You can't even call it food!! After paying the bill and leaving the table, my daughter and I had terrible stomach aches! The plates contained small pieces of chicken in a very strange batter that was very greasy and sticky. We suspect that's what caused our discomfort, and we had to drink bottled water nonstop for two hours!!! How can this bar still exist today, and I don't even want to talk about the quality of the food! Never again!!!!!

Unfortunately, we have to be honest, and the truth is that you go there to eat because it's kind of cool, but that's about it. The menu has been the same for years, the quality is so-so, and the food is almost never hot unless you're lucky and it's freshly prepared. The owners are very friendly and accommodating, no complaints there. When it's a bit busier, if you're a couple, you have to share a table with another couple, which is really annoying because that's not why you go to a place like this. You want some privacy, to be able to talk and eat in peace, and then you're sitting across from strangers, just for the extra money they make. It's really not pleasant. I go there occasionally, but it's just not the best. The prices are okay for today's standards.

Finally made it here, this place is great to eat; we got the all you can eat and got full within the 30 minutes

I have rarely eaten so delicious food

Besides the small restaurant, there's also a running sushi counter. Absolutely brilliant.

My experience pertains exclusively to the rolling sushi and the restaurant's conditions. I didn't try any of the à la carte ("fresh" sushi) and therefore can't comment on that. 1. Food Quality of the Rolling Sushi (Health Risk): The conveyor belt sushi wasn't just inedible; it made me sick. Shortly afterward, I had severe, watery diarrhea—like it was coming straight from the tap! This is an alarming sign of spoiled food. The rolling system itself is the problem: The sushi circulates on the belt for too long, completely compromising freshness and hygiene. 2. Shocking Hygiene Conditions: The hygienic conditions are appalling. I personally witnessed the use of completely soiled bottles for quickly serving drinks. Such a practice is not only disgusting but absolutely unacceptable and grossly negligent. 3. Unpleasant Atmosphere and Lack of Space: The atmosphere was extremely unpleasant due to overcrowding. I was forced to sit at a table with strangers, which completely destroyed any sense of privacy and comfort. In short: The rolling sushi and the conditions in the restaurant are a health hazard. BUT: If you desperately want diarrhea and other stomach problems, then this is the place for you!

They don't refill the food, the food is cold, and the staff is extremely unfriendly! Plus, you have to sit with strangers. Not recommended!

I was having lunch with a colleague when we found a piece of glass in our food. Absolutely bottomless!

My children really wanted to eat there, but I didn't. But the staff forced us to order a dish. Then my daughter felt sick while eating. So we only had a few plates and still had to pay for all you can eat. They certainly could have handled it more customer-friendly...

"All you can eat" is served nonstop. Lots of choice, always small portions (sushi for two). Good for trying something out if you're new to it. Portions are manageable. Small soups, small pieces of meat, fried noodles, baked bananas, etc. You'll comfortably fill yourself up 😉 Two people can easily eat 30 to 40 plates. Good value for money.

There was far too little choice in running sushi, no nigiri at all. It felt like the same 5 maki.

Terrible, both in terms of ambience and selection and quality of the food. Okay, the price is moderate at around €14.00, but I'd rather spend a few euros more and get good food. Sushi is mostly made with cucumber, carrot, or something similar, 90% of it wrapped in rice that was already a bit dry. Absolutely spring roll-heavy, with the occasional bowl of chicken or, even rarer, duck, and no fish at all. The baked banana is delicious, but they only pass by once every five minutes at most... All in all, a disappointment; a waste of money and time. You don't need such a disappointment on a Saturday night.

Without a reservation, you're just getting a pass. There's absolutely no system. If you have to wait in line, they'll just seat the people who just arrived. I haven't experienced such disinterest from the staff in a long time. The menu reflects the prices, mainly sushi with cucumber or peppers, vegetables in sauce, and rice. Hygiene is also highly questionable.

Contrary to some of the other reviews here, I was very satisfied. The quality was good, and the selection was absolutely reasonable for the price of €13.90.

We had a department breakfast for about 14 people. Everyone ordered something different. But everything looked delicious, and everyone was satisfied. A cozy place with a wide selection. You can always find something from breakfast to dinner. I would recommend going there at least once if you're in Bayreuth.

Few places, but very good and cheap

The service is really very unfriendly and can't explain things well, and the food doesn't taste particularly good either.

One star is too many. They add strangers to your table, so you can't even eat in peace. We didn't eat anything, left after 15 minutes, and still had to pay full price for the all-you-can-eat menu because we wanted it beforehand. Outrageous.

Honestly, I'm rarely speechless, but what I was served here wasn't a culinary journey, more like an eight-course tragedy, served on a conveyor belt of despair. My first glance at the conveyor belt made me think: Ah, a vegetable farm on a world tour. Fish? No sign of it. It was either on the run or well camouflaged. Instead, there were cucumbers, more cucumbers, peppers in the sad company of... of course, cucumbers. If you were lucky, a carelessly arranged glimpse of salmon or some avocado and imitation crab meat would pass by. The hot dishes? Cold. The cold dishes? Room temperature (for whatever reason). Even while I was eating, my stomach felt as if it was subtly telling me: Brother, this is not a good idea. But I was hungry and naive... a toxic combination. And as if that weren't enough, the big sushi reckoning came the next day. My gut staged a spontaneous evacuation exercise, and my night resembled a Japanese horror film: "The Curse of the Brown Truth." Atmosphere? Nicely intended, but more show than substance, and not particularly clean either (it only becomes apparent upon closer inspection, especially the soy sauce bottles and table edges). Service: Friendly and disinterested, like a teenager emptying the dishwasher. Value for money: I've rarely spent so much money on stomach problems. Conclusion: If you want to know what taste depression feels like, you've come to the right place. For everyone else: Better a pack of sushi from the supermarket or just a piece of toast with wasabi. It probably tastes more authentic. Never again. Next time I'll just go to the dentist; at least then I'll know why it hurts.

We don't come very often, so it's always a special treat for us to eat there, but unfortunately, we didn't get to eat there today because the lady on staff kept letting someone else take the empty seats. I just got myself a drink since we couldn't order anything because we couldn't get a seat, and suddenly someone new was sitting in front of us. We were offered a seat next to someone else, but sorry, I prefer peace and quiet over food. I was really, really disappointed today. We went home without eating.

Absolutely disappointing; the food was bad. Nothing was fresh, and some of it was old, dry, and crumbling. We'll never eat there again.

Have eaten at Karuto with my daughter several times. At first we were satisfied, but now the quality has deteriorated significantly. There is hardly any fish in the sushi, the warm dishes are not fresh and almost cold, the fried food tastes like old fat and during the week there is hardly any choice, so a visit is no longer worth it for our taste!

In this sushi, if you want to call it that, you almost have to look for the fish with a magnifying glass. Afterwards I was annoyed about spending money on it. Once and never again.

The all-you-can-eat offer is inexpensive at €13.90, but the quality of the food did not meet expectations. The selection of hot dishes was limited to about three dishes. The sushi was also unconvincing: dry, poorly rolled and some of it had already fallen apart on the plate. After eating we both suffered from quite a bit of stomach pain. The ambience was also poor and unkempt, with some damaged dishes. I wouldn't visit it again and wouldn't recommend it.

Very bad food. Sushi consists of 90% rice and 10% filling and then rice that is dried out. It couldn't be worse and the taste is subterranean. Unfortunately, the rest of the warm food was also a total failure. So much for eating. There were four of us eating, 2 adults and 2 children (4 years and 2 years). The 4 year old had to pay the All You Can Eat meal for the price of 6 euros even though we said that she would hardly eat anything. (It is possible to eat for €1 per plate) but we were forbidden to do this because we adults ordered the All You Can Eat. Our daughter ate exactly 3 noodles from her plate, which we said when paying the terms and was then pointed out very sharply and loudly that she had observed herself eating the noodles. We're talking about 3 noodles here and we paid €6 for them. With the 2-year-old, we said from the start that she wouldn't eat anything, which was the case, but they still tried to force the €6 all-you-can-eat price on us. It's funny that the price of €6 only applies to 3 to 10 year olds. Really lousy shop and rip-off at its finest and very, very unfriendly. The main thing is that the guest leaves the money for bad food. Unfortunately, 1 point is still too many.

Sorry, the food wasn't good this time, probably because only three tables were occupied. That's why the food had been there for a long time. The chicken was very salty, almost impossible to eat. Probably that people drink more. I will come back on Saturday when the tables are full. Then you can assume that there is always fresh produce in it.

When we arrived, we asked an employee if we could wait for a seat because everything was occupied. About 10 minutes later a table became available. She told us that she would like to clean the table first. While she was getting the cleaning utensils, 4 middle-aged ladies sat down at the free table. The employee cleaned the table. Unfortunately, my protest against this action neither the 4 ladies at the table nor the employee of the running Sushi interested!!??? We'll never go there again!!! It's a shame for the Rotmain Center too, because our child was also deeply saddened by this event...

For €14 you not only get crusty, stale sushi, but also stomach aches and nausea for two days, perfect if you need a reason for a yellow glow, highly recommended.

I was there recently with my mom. Running Sushi is always a highlight and something special! I can't understand the negative reviews here and sometimes I wonder what people expect here. I definitely liked the selection! There were various things from spring rolls to sushi to fried noodles with meat or desserts. Definitely to be recommended! I'll probably come again today and it won't be the last time! Kudos to the team👍👍👍✨

Running Sushi 😁 Good, varied selection. Due to a lack of space, it may happen that you (if two people) sit at the table with other (strangers). So far we have only met likeable people our age. Any time again and a nice meal before going to the cinema in the Franz and Gloria Premium Cinema right next door.

A terrible place, instead of fish there is vegetable sushi with carrots and peppers, what is that anyway? Everything cold and dry and always the same thing. When you complain, the answer you actually get is what you expect for the money. So it's okay if necessary, but it's better not to!

Two weeks ago I had dinner at the Rotmain Center Bayreuth / Sushi Bar Naruto with my ten year old daughter! I've never had such a bad meal. No choice at all, the food was cold and my drink/coke was warm. At the top of the conveyor belt, which was supposed to have hot dishes, there were only spring rolls, rice, a soup, small fried chicken and noodles with no taste. Everything was cold, the rice was already dry and dry and there were no meat dishes with sauce or vegetables. When I asked the waitress, all I said was: “It's Saturday, there's a lot going on and that's just how it is!!!!!” So I basically couldn't find anything warm/edible on the belt for 13.90 euros!! My daughter, 10 years old, was supposed to pay the full price of €13.90 and I was also told that it was now in the checkout and nothing could be changed. So the waitress didn't want to do anything, so I went to the lady who served the sushi, since the boss wasn't there, she looked at my daughter's insured card three times, until she agreed to the price anyway to change the child amount! No thanks were given for the visit. So I'm hungry and totally frustrated after a dinner home that cost me 23 euros! I contacted Naruto again via email about this, saying that you can't deal with your guests like that, but unfortunately it was ignored! Can't recommend this place at all!

Were there today for running sushi 🍣. Large selection of sushi and others Treats. Something from everyone. Soup, baked and, among other things, pasta. Sushi in different variations. Very tasty and not expensive. There were three of us and we paid a total of just under 45 euros.

The food is very good. At Running Sushi, an hour of all-you-can-eat only costs around 12 euros, which is very inexpensive. Since Running Sushi is located in the corridor of the mall, the atmosphere must suffer a bit, but the decoration makes up for it all. The waitresses are all very nice, you just have to be able to get a seat. The bottom line is that it is not a restaurant where you go for a fancy meal, but rather a restaurant where you can have a very good and tasty break during your visit to the Rotmain Center.

Really very good food. We took advantage of the running sushi. The children were very enthusiastic. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Running Sushi, which not only offers a variety of sushi, but also other delicious Asian dishes. You can eat as much as you want for an hour, but no one actually stays that long. And it seems to be very popular, we hardly got a table and when someone left, the next guests were always waiting. It's not comfortable because it's in the middle of the Rotmain Center in the passageway, but it's something different than just being served food.

The selection is not large, but enough to fill you up. The price is also completely acceptable. We'd love to come back.

Underground. We were kicked out at 1pm on a Saturday. I went there with my daughter to eat running sushi. We were assigned a table and told to sit on one side. When I politely asked if we could stay alone at the table because I had a bad cold and a cough, we were turned away from the table

I was here 2 times. The first time there was no problem, but the second time we were insulted by a male Asian employee because we wanted to order different menus as a group. The employee forbade us to sit down even when we asked for rules that were not shown and was very unprofessional and unfriendly. Also, a long red hair was found in the pudding. That was definitely my last time here.

Cruel just plain cruel. The children wanted to eat sushi and from the beginning they said that only the children would eat and they said that would work. After half an hour we were thrown out, my son had to leave the food he had started and leave. They were totally horrified and sad. We don't even need to talk about the food. Reservations mean nothing. When you say. "We would like to reserve a table for an hour" and an hour later you still wait forever while people who have just arrived get a table.
