Duc is lying! The food is absolutely delicious! A really good alternative to Little Tokyo or Takumi, etc.

The food was very bad. I ate barley at Goc Việt Asia Thai Curry, which tastes better than yours, Narumi. No chance for Narumi anymore.

A few days ago we were here. We tried a few rolls, spring rolls, takoyaki, chicken and edamame. The prices are very reasonable. Some of the rolls, I think the ones with cheese inside, were a bit salty but it didn’t really bother us. Other than that everything we ate was delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We would definitely visit again.

Fantastic, authentic sushi! The service was very friendly and professional. They offered recommendations, which we gladly followed. It was a bit chilly inside; perhaps the windows could be better insulated.

The service was good but the food was really bad, I ordered mittagsmenü with sushi for 13,90, they were too salty and very basic, honestly not worth the price even though it’s not that expensive. The raw salmon in sushi didn’t taste really fresh. Wouldn’t recommend this place

I was there for the first time yesterday. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately, the selection of vegetarian dishes is limited. What was a real disappointment were the noodles in the ramen soup. They were pre-made noodles from an Asian market. They weren't even properly separated, so there was just a clump of noodles. That shouldn't happen. For me, the restaurant was too bright and quite drafty.

I had two sushi rolls, and they were some of the best I've ever had. The takoyaki we ordered together were also delicious. My husband and sister each had bowls, one with karaage and the other with spicy tuna. Both were really good. The staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back!

However, the layout of the restrooms takes some getting used to. Overall, the restaurant isn't really conducive to a long stay and isn't wheelchair accessible.

I went there with high expectations and planned my schedule according to the stated opening hours. However, when I arrived, the shop was closed, even though Google Maps indicated that it was open. They really should be more careful and accurate with their communication regarding opening hours—I ended up walking quite a long distance for nothing.

i LOVE Narumi. from the past month i basically only come here for the sushi. If you want authentic ramen sushi and other japanese dishes for arguably great prices, go Narumi without a second doubt. Also the staff is the friendliest i have met in germany. small place so reservation 100% recommended

The place is small and cozy with affordable sushi prices. The waiter was really attentive and friendly. The food came out relatively fast after placing the order as well and it was also good for the price. They have a bunch of special rolls that I would like to try out the next time we visit! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cheaper option for sushi in Düsseldorf :)

Absolutely delicious!! A nicely decorated little shop (about 8 tables for two), so it was quite full, but luckily we got a table. The prices were good, although it wasn't mentioned that the lunch special was only available on weekdays. Good selection for vegetarians (but also for meat/fish eaters). A very varied menu and a friendly owner.

In my opinion, Narumi has the best sushi in Düsseldorf, and the shop is always worth a visit! Whether you eat in or pick up, the food always tastes fantastic and is always quick. The lunch specials are particularly good value for money!

A super cute and super friendly sushi place. We've been there many times and the food has always been delicious. My recommendation is the karaage.

The place is quite small and only can host 10 people inside and 6 people outside. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We got our order within 10 minutes and it was quite good. The portion sizes were a bit small but the taste was good enough to make it worth it. They didn’t have much drinks options though. In summary: good food for a reasonable price.

Small shop, quite nice. But in addition to regular tables, there were also tables that looked more like garden furniture. The menu selection is okay. The taste is average, the prices aren't cheap as others have described, and are also reasonably expensive. Service is good. But the individual dishes arrive at very different times. While one person might already be finished, another might still be waiting for their food. We probably wouldn't come again. It wasn't worth it for us.

Delicious Japanese food! Even Japanese people frequent this place! The sashimi was fresh and melted in your mouth, and the vegetable tempura was crispy. I also ordered a sushi platter, which was excellent! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

The food was truly disgusting. A cheap crab paste was found in almost every roll. All the rolls fell apart and tasted cheap. I feel like throwing up.

We had dinner at Narumi Sushi and highly recommend it. We had the chicken katsu and tuna steak as a starter, two special rolls, and karaage afterward, and it was fantastic! The service from the friendly staff was also excellent. Unfortunately, we were attacked by wasps outside that wanted to join us for dinner😅, but when we finally decided to sit inside, a staff member immediately took action. We went on a Thursday evening and it was nice and quiet. Fantastic again!

We were just at Narumi. Unfortunately, the service and ambiance were abysmal. We had the Schlemerblock (gourmet block), and the staff tried everything to avoid having to pay for it. There were repeated initial discussions about it being a "goodwill gesture" because it was a holiday. We only received a bill after paying, despite asking for it. In the end, €5 was deducted from several sushi items on the bill, and an extra €1 was even charged. Sorry, Narumi team, but don't participate in the Schlemerblock (gourmet block), and I feel pretty cheated as a customer. It's a shame, because the food was actually quite good—but overall, the frustration outweighs the disappointment. Edit: After a very friendly and customer-oriented discussion with the owner, we will give Narumi another chance.

solid to good place for fresh sushi (some with a twist). although you have to be aware that the bread crumbs & sauces can be overwhelming at times for the "specials". service was very accomadating & it's a cute small food spot. toilets are okay, but their location is subpar (due to the limited space you have to go downstairs to an abandoned looking lower floor).

Really yummy ramen and sushi! We had the cha-shu tonkotsu ramen and loved it. We also shared a couple of rolls for the table. Everything was delicious -- my favorite was the Ultimativ Rainbow. Unfortunately, it wasn't good at all. The quality of the food has absolutely nothing to do with Japanese standards. Everything tastes "European" and is really not good. We paid €70 for starters and main courses for two people, including drinks. Far too expensive for such a snack bar.

The most authentic ramen I've had in Germany so far! It's something special, even for Düsseldorf. The sushi is also highly recommended; the sushi rice is extremely delicious and has a unique flavor; I can't understand the negative reviews. It's also reasonably priced (for Japanese food). The sushi was authentic, delicious, and of the highest quality. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. By the time we finished eating, it was already past closing time, but they still offered us dessert. 10 out of 10. We'll be back.

I ordered via Uber Eats and the food was so bad, I couldn't finish it. I ordered two sets of special sushi rolls. They were 17€ each for 8 pieces or so, so almost doubly priced than normal sushi. The "tempura" was soggy and came with loads of ketchup on top. The other one was supposed to be BBQ flavour but just tasted like several different seafood slapped together. Cherry on the cake - no wasabi or ginger. This is the first time a sushi restaurant gave neither. Never again.

We went for dinner and were super satisfied. The chicken gyozas are spectacular, the sushi and ramen are fantastic. More than recommended.

The expectations I had based on the review were high. For me, this rice is not sushi rice. You can't even eat a roll without it falling apart. The color of the tuna was suspicious. I am extremely surprised why this restaurant has such a high rating… Very high prices for the quality

This is a very good Japanese restaurant. The chef is very friendly with the guests and often chats with them. The staff is also very friendly and responds to all of the guests' wishes. The food tastes very good, the presentation is very exquisite and of course the prices are very reasonable. This Japanese restaurant is worth recommending.

A super nice, small sushi & ramen restaurant that I can only warmly recommend to everyone. Everything tastes great, the price-performance ratio is excellent and you always feel comfortable here!

Raw sushi/sashimi delivered on hot soup! So it's no longer enjoyable for me. 2 pieces of chicken in the ramen. All in all 69€ for 1 person. Too expensive and not even packaged professionally in far too much plastic.

Honestly one of the better sushi spots in Dusseldorf. Run by an ambitious Japanese owner serving authentic sushi with some twists of his own. Prices are affordable and I believe the sushi he serves reflects his style, character and taste. Do not agree with the person below me, however everyone can have his own opinion. The fact many people like it reflect the quality that is being served. For me sushi has a fine ratio between rice and fish to have taste of both ingredients. I find this balanced here and people should come and judge for themselves. Tip: please make a reservation as the location is small and easily fills up during rush hours.

I don't need it again. We ate there today because of the great reviews and can't understand the reviews. The service wasn't really friendly or attentive. The portions were unacceptable in relation to the price. A touch of seaweed salad for 6.50 euros. The sushi barely consisted of rice. I have never eaten sushi with so little rice. The rolls were absolutely mini. Mr. Düsseldorf's award has shown (once again) that this does not indicate a good store.

This restaurant can only be recommended. By far the best sushi we've had in a long time. The ramen soup was also world class! Price performance is right and the service was very friendly and attentive. We'll be back!
