A super cute and super friendly sushi place. We've been there many times and the food has always been delicious. My recommendation is the karaage.

The place is quite small and only can host 10 people inside and 6 people outside. The staff is very attentive and friendly. We got our order within 10 minutes and it was quite good. The portion sizes were a bit small but the taste was good enough to make it worth it. They didn’t have much drinks options though. In summary: good food for a reasonable price.

Narumi Sushi is our go-to sushi restaurant. Whether it's for takeaway in the evening or for lunch, the more unusual sushi variations are particularly delicious (the shrimp plover is highly recommended). They also offer a lunch special where you can get a main course and an additional maki for a good price.

Small shop, quite nice. But in addition to regular tables, there were also tables that looked more like garden furniture. The menu selection is okay. The taste is average, the prices aren't cheap as others have described, and are also reasonably expensive. Service is good. But the individual dishes arrive at very different times. While one person might already be finished, another might still be waiting for their food. We probably wouldn't come again. It wasn't worth it for us.

Delicious Japanese food! Even Japanese people frequent this place! The sashimi was fresh and melted in your mouth, and the vegetable tempura was crispy. I also ordered a sushi platter, which was excellent! I'll definitely be back if I get the chance.

The food was truly disgusting. A cheap crab paste was found in almost every roll. All the rolls fell apart and tasted cheap. I feel like throwing up.

We had dinner at Narumi Sushi and highly recommend it. We had the chicken katsu and tuna steak as a starter, two special rolls, and karaage afterward, and it was fantastic! The service from the friendly staff was also excellent. Unfortunately, we were attacked by wasps outside that wanted to join us for dinner😅, but when we finally decided to sit inside, a staff member immediately took action. We went on a Thursday evening and it was nice and quiet. Fantastic again!

We were just at Narumi. Unfortunately, the service and ambiance were abysmal. We had the Schlemerblock (gourmet block), and the staff tried everything to avoid having to pay for it. There were repeated initial discussions about it being a "goodwill gesture" because it was a holiday. We only received a bill after paying, despite asking for it. In the end, €5 was deducted from several sushi items on the bill, and an extra €1 was even charged. Sorry, Narumi team, but don't participate in the Schlemerblock (gourmet block), and I feel pretty cheated as a customer. It's a shame, because the food was actually quite good—but overall, the frustration outweighs the disappointment. Edit: After a very friendly and customer-oriented discussion with the owner, we will give Narumi another chance.

In my opinion, one of the best sushi restaurants in Düsseldorf! Always freshly prepared, always top quality, and always excellent service. I've been coming to Narumi regularly since day one and have never been disappointed.

Very tasty rolls. We particularly enjoyed the Maui Roll and the Temaki. My son also really liked the Crunch Roll. A very pleasant atmosphere and friendly service.

solid to good place for fresh sushi (some with a twist). although you have to be aware that the bread crumbs & sauces can be overwhelming at times for the "specials". service was very accomadating & it's a cute small food spot. toilets are okay, but their location is subpar (due to the limited space you have to go downstairs to an abandoned looking lower floor).

Really yummy ramen and sushi! We had the cha-shu tonkotsu ramen and loved it. We also shared a couple of rolls for the table. Everything was delicious -- my favorite was the Ultimativ Rainbow. We are visiting from California and starting to miss sushi so we're so happy we found this great spot here. Friendly owner and great service as well. Thank you!!!

Unfortunately, it wasn't good at all. The quality of the food has absolutely nothing to do with Japanese standards. Everything tastes "European" and is really not good. We paid €70 for starters and main courses for two people, including drinks. Far too expensive for such a snack bar.

The most authentic ramen I've had in Germany so far! It's something special, even for Düsseldorf. The sushi is also highly recommended; the sushi rice is extremely delicious and has a unique flavor; I can't understand the negative reviews. It's also reasonably priced (for Japanese food). My favorite restaurant in Düsseldorf.

The sushi was authentic, delicious, and of the highest quality. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. By the time we finished eating, it was already past closing time, but they still offered us dessert. 10 out of 10. We'll be back.

I ordered via Uber Eats and the food was so bad, I couldn't finish it. I ordered two sets of special sushi rolls. They were 17€ each for 8 pieces or so, so almost doubly priced than normal sushi. The "tempura" was soggy and came with loads of ketchup on top. The other one was supposed to be BBQ flavour but just tasted like several different seafood slapped together. Cherry on the cake - no wasabi or ginger. This is the first time a sushi restaurant gave neither. Never again.

We went for dinner and were super satisfied. The chicken gyozas are spectacular, the sushi and ramen are fantastic. More than recommended.

The expectations I had based on the review were high. For me, this rice is not sushi rice. You can't even eat a roll without it falling apart. The color of the tuna was suspicious. I am extremely surprised why this restaurant has such a high rating… Very high prices for the quality

There was a lunch menu with dishes for €10 – the food was delicious. The service was lacking. The staff were friendly, but, for example, the waitress left the cutlery and napkins in a pile. The restaurant is very simply decorated.

This is my fav ramen place in town, I find the food here absolutely delicious I tried it plenty of times, I even ordered it home and it still tastes incredible. The place is also cozy and I really enjoy its not so famous

This is a very good Japanese restaurant. The chef is very friendly with the guests and often chats with them. The staff is also very friendly and responds to all of the guests' wishes. The food tastes very good, the presentation is very exquisite and of course the prices are very reasonable. This Japanese restaurant is worth recommending.

Raw sushi/sashimi delivered on hot soup! So it's no longer enjoyable for me. 2 pieces of chicken in the ramen. All in all 69€ for 1 person. Too expensive and not even packaged professionally in far too much plastic.

Order Tempura Bowl Lunch set with green tea was really worth it and portions are great too 💕 will definitely come back here again. Update: went back a few times after this and I have to say, this might be my fav place to have a quick meal. 2nd update(2.2.25): at around 4pm had their Ramen & sencha. So BUSSS 😭💕 LOVE IT

Honestly one of the better sushi spots in Dusseldorf. Run by an ambitious Japanese owner serving authentic sushi with some twists of his own. Prices are affordable and I believe the sushi he serves reflects his style, character and taste. Do not agree with the person below me, however everyone can have his own opinion. The fact many people like it reflect the quality that is being served. For me sushi has a fine ratio between rice and fish to have taste of both ingredients. I find this balanced here and people should come and judge for themselves. Tip: please make a reservation as the location is small and easily fills up during rush hours.

I don't need it again. We ate there today because of the great reviews and can't understand the reviews. The service wasn't really friendly or attentive. The portions were unacceptable in relation to the price. A touch of seaweed salad for 6.50 euros. The sushi barely consisted of rice. I have never eaten sushi with so little rice. The rolls were absolutely mini. Mr. Düsseldorf's award has shown (once again) that this does not indicate a good store.

Unfortunately we don't come from Düsseldorf and therefore only eat at Narumi's 1/2 times a year, but the quality remains top every time! Narumi is and remains simply the best sushi restaurant for us. We look forward to coming back to Düsseldorf 🌟

Great service. Price-performance is great, everything is made fresh behind the counter and you can taste it too. Because there are few tables, it is not as noisy and crowded as in most restaurants and you can chat in peace.

I was born and raised in Japan and loved Narumi Sushi so much!! it’s hard to find authentic Japanese restaurant like this in Europe especially in this price range. I felt all the food here was made with care with fresh ingredients. Many Rolls are American style (which I love so much) but they have classic nigiri, sashimi, noodles, rice bowls, too. The service was warm, polite and welcoming. we had a baked salmon roll as lunch set and a baked scallop roll. Loved the charred, smoky flavor of creamy mayo. You are lucky if you live neaby !

One of the, if not the best Japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf. The place itself is small with some seats available. I think this gives Narumi a very cozy and friendly atmosphere where you can enjoy your drinks and food with friends & family. The Staff is super friendly and for me, it seems like they enjoy what they do 😊. The food here is delicious. Narumi offers not only the best Sushi in town but also other dishes like a variety of Ramen with chicken, pork, or veg options. Overall great place to go with friends 😊. Can't wait for my next visit or order.

We came here because of the good reviews. It is located a little outside the center, but we did not mind coming here. The sushi, edamame and vegetables were really DELICIOUS. We enjoyed it. Too bad we don't live there. Otherwise we would come more often. Atmosphere and service were good. Would love to come back again!

Best karaage in Düsseldorf! I've been to many Japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf, and the karaage here is my favorite. Unlike the pre-made karaage served at many other places, the karaage here is homemade, juicy, and tender. I can't wait to have it again! The sushi rolls are also fresh and delicious. We tried the warm sake too, and it had a wonderfully silky-smooth mouthfeel. I'm really happy to have discovered this restaurant!

Were here for the first time and had sushi, mini sashimi salad and tempura. Sushi was great! Some of the leaves in the sashimi salad were a bit "sandy" - maybe they needed to be washed more thoroughly? Unfortunately there were a lot of annoying flies around us, a lot of mayflies buzzing around on the food inside. A better ventilation system would help. Service was friendly. Prices are like other sushi shops - a little more upscale. We'll definitely be back.
