Everything was great except for the fact that everyone stared at me, which I found incredibly annoying, to be honest. I felt extremely uncomfortable.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I ate here with my family today and we were very satisfied. The manager and all the staff were cheerful and friendly. I will definitely come back.

The Pho soup is very tasty, the broth is super. Very good place, will repeat.

UPDATE: I initially gave this restaurant 3 stars out of politeness and fairness. However, after the owner denied an objective and clearly visible issue, I can no longer trust this establishment. The owner claimed that the food tray was not prepared on top of a waste bin, which is simply not true. I am attaching the photo I took, which clearly shows the waste bin directly underneath the food tray. Because of this dishonest response, I am downgrading my review to 1 star. I was polite and respectful in my original feedback, but lying about hygiene concerns is unacceptable and undermines customer trust. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The hygiene situation is questionable (we order a food tray as in the photo and they literally prepare it on top of waste bin). No invoice was provided (usual at asian restaurant for tax reason). Food is Ok. Decoration is nice and cozy

I ordered a dish for 70 euros which included: octopus (it was very overcooked and there were too many spices which completely covered the taste of the octopus itself), squid (it had a very questionable taste and again the wrong spices which spoiled the taste greatly), rice noodles (cold, without adding salt or other spices, so it was extremely tasteless), pork (it tasted okay, but it seemed not very fresh and tasteless), mussels (mussels are only a name, it was as if they were chewed and given to us, I couldn’t even swallow it), shrimp (very overcooked, also as if they had already been chewed, I suspect that they are not fresh or have been frozen many times) and a couple more components which were very disappointing (((( I also ordered strawberry cake and coffee, I can’t say anything bad about the taste, only the high price for small portions. I am very upset and do not recommend this place; (((((

The food was fantastic, the cake and coffee for dessert were divine, the service was very friendly, one small suggestion: please warm the plates beforehand. We'll definitely come back when we're in the area.

Food was good, a little bit expensive, but if you take the family meal platter it is worth it. I think all in all it is a restaurant worth on checking.

The pho soup with the beef steak is ok nothing special about it. The beef was overcooked and bland , and the broth bland as well and unclear, with burned stuff floating from the steak . The portion is really big like one soup is enough to fill u up but the taste is not as special as you wish for.

The food was generally okay, not terrible, but not the best I've ever eaten at. The staff were very good, friendly and smiling. It's one of the few restaurants in Berlin where English is spoken. The prices are on the higher side than other restaurants, but acceptable. The portions are smaller than at many others, but the worst thing that ruined the dining experience was the noise and atmosphere. There were a lot of customers, but that didn't make the atmosphere bad. There was a group of children making a lot of noise, and neither the staff nor their parents did anything about it. The children's screaming and running around completely destroyed the restaurant's beautiful ambiance. I left the restaurant with a migraine attack and a headache that lasted all day.

The food was not good, the meat was dry, and the price was too high for the quality. It might be okay for two people, but the portions aren't really increased for larger groups.

A cool Vietnamese restaurant with super friendly service and a stylish atmosphere. The food is great, but honestly, I mainly come here for the coffee specialties. The salted coffee is my favorite. Iced Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk and slightly salted whipped cream on top—so delicious! 😊 They also have a coffee with a scrambled egg and a coconut foam coffee.

If you want to eat authentic Vietnamese food, this is the place to go! Great food and a wonderful atmosphere. The staff is also very attentive.

Arriving in Berlin on a day at the end of November, the three of us had a warm, Northern-style dinner at Nampan. The meal had a typical Northern flavor with beans in tomato sauce, pickled cucumbers, pickled eggplant, crab soup, etc. For just over 20€ per person, we had 3 full stomachs. The restaurant staff was also very nice when we asked for a few cloves of garlic (according to Vietnamese beliefs, garlic helps ward off "unclean" things) that we had forgotten to bring on the trip. The restaurant has many delicious dishes but we have not tried them all. If I have the opportunity to return to Berlin, Nampan will be the first restaurant I think of ✅

I really enjoyed the experience here. The service was good and super nice atmosphere. The food just needed a bit more seasoning for me but after adding a bit of salt was just perfect. I totally understand that this is a personal preference so I still give 5 starts. And the truth is that I prefer to add a bit of salt than have a too salty dish that I can’t fix.

The food was very authentic and the service very attentive. We ordered the seafood hot pot and the family meal for nine people, and the flavors were fantastic. We also received complimentary cake and tea (for a birthday), a wonderful experience. We'd gladly come again! :)))

Today we went to a restaurant and ordered "Mâm cơm gia đình," which is served for two. It tasted incredibly authentic and we were completely full. We'd love to come back again. :)

We stumbled upon this place by chance three days ago and were pleasantly surprised. Stylish ambiance, friendly and attentive staff, and above all, LARGE portions. The food was delicious, and they catered to our requests. It's a no-brainer: We'll definitely recommend you, and most importantly, we'll be back.

I recently visited a Vietnamese restaurant in Nam Pan restaurant in Germany, and it was an amazing experience! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was full of authentic Vietnamese taste, from the fragrant pho to the crispy spring rolls. The drinks were just as impressive. I tried their homemade iced tea and a Vietnamese coffee, and both were perfectly balanced and refreshing. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. It felt like a little piece of Vietnam right here in Germany. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Vietnamese cuisine or simply wants to enjoy a warm, flavorful meal. The restaurant is okay. I was highly disappointed by the dessert. Something called like "fresh mango with black rice" and there were literally two very small and very thin slices of mango.

We were craving some Asian food and thought, hey, 4.6 stars — that’s basically Michelin, right? We ordered a few dishes and a couple of lunch specials, bracing for greatness. The first surprise? A 2 EUR charge for tap water. Maybe it was artisan tap water, sourced from a hidden spring beneath the sink? We’ll never know. We also ordered hot water as in tea water (long story), but what arrived could best be described as the emotional temperature of our disappointment — lukewarm tap water. Then came the food. The fried noodles and pho tasted like someone had whispered “flavor” from across the street. The red curry was okay — probably because it was red, and therefore legally required to contain at least some spice. In summary: 4.6 stars on Google, 1 lukewarm heart from us. Next time, we’ll just drink hot tap water at home — for free.

Had a lovely dinning experience here while on holiday in Berlin. Very friendly staff, lovely tasty authentic food and coffee, would highly recommend. The only drawback was the men's toilets were in definite need of refurbishment, not in keeping with the fabulous restaurant decoration.

Came here with my cousin. The location is cozy and warm, the staff also very kind and the food can’t be compared. I had one of the best pho I ever tasted. Also, I had the pistachio crepe cake, under the waitress’ recommendation and it was delicious. Totally coming back here if I ever come to Berlin^^

I noticed this traditional Vietnamese restaurant whilst walking in the street. The beautiful display of fire lantern style lights captivated me. Upon entering the service staff immediately found me a place to sit and I noticed a wonderful fountain display. It really set the scene for relaxation and comfort. After that I ordered buttered chicken and a big bowl of beef Pho which was delicious! 5 star all around.

Easy dinner option! I come here every time I stay in Berlin for work. It’s consistently good, with large portions at reasonable prices. I’ve never had to wait for a table, and have also ordered for take away in the past which was an easy process and tasted just as good.

Good Vietnamese coffee drinks. Quality a bit uneven, though, and the same drinks are not always prepared the same way. E.g. Today I had a their egg coffee which as delicious and had a good amount of iced coffee in it. Perfect! A few weeks ago I had the same drink which hardly contained any coffee at all and the coffee itself was not the classical sweetened version but pure back coffee - so quite underwhelming and I wouldn’t want to order it again this way. Haven’t tried their food

Chic ambiance, fine and authentic food, although I've had better for the money, but it's understandable that the prices are a bit inflated due to tourists. The smell of cigarettes occasionally wafted through the door from outside.

I have no words to describe the poor quality of the food. The sauces were far too heavy. The mango curry had never seen a mango. The chicken wasn't baked twice, but five times, that's how hard it was. I was there just by chance, but it stunned me.

Honestly, I’ve never left a review like this before, but this place deserves it. We absolutely do not recommend this restaurant because of the extremely rude service. One waitress spilled coffee all over me, ruined my bag and a book I was reading. Okay, accidents happen, I get that. But the way the restaurant handled it was shocking — no discount, no small apology treat, literally nothing. Then another waiter completely forgot our order and instead of apologizing, he snapped at our friend in the most toxic way, saying: “What’s wrong with you?” I’ve never seen anything like that in a restaurant. Yes, the food was tasty, but when the service is this disrespectful, it ruins everything. For us, this place is a hard no.

A very nice, traditional and, above all, authentic Vietnamese restaurant. The prices are fair and reasonable. We ordered a platter for two, and it was very good and generously stocked. Everyone will definitely be full. Where we ate there, everything in a separate area was even beautifully decorated with flowers for a wedding. The restaurant here is definitely booked for large events.

I was disappointed. The service was very slow and sluggish despite the restaurant being empty. The food was good, but not impressive. For me, it was a C-. The children's plate with fries and nuggets (no real meat) with a glass of water was overpriced at €17.90. The crispy sweet and sour duck was way too soft, not crispy, and just overly sour. In my opinion, the hype for this restaurant is overblown. I wouldn't invite my Asian friends there... that would just be embarrassing and typically German.

Rude experience. They close at 11pm I arrived at 10pm. They confirmed with the kitchen is still open and I was seated. Not long after the staff asked me if I can pay cash? Because she finalized the till machine. I said no I don’t have cash I can only pay by card. Then she then tells me very loudly “We are closed”. In a really bad manner. And I was then almost being kicked out of the restaurant. Just arrived in Berlin and looking for my first meal and being treated like this. I’m sure the food will be great but as for the customer service…. I’m not sure about it.

Exquisite. I ordered the Mi Van Than Thit. The ingredients are clearly fresh, and the fusion of flavors is incredible. A great way to eat out and healthy. The place is very pretty, and the service is great.

The food isn't bad, but it's not special, and it's expensive enough. We ordered several drinks and also asked if we could have a glass of water, and we had to pay €2 for tap water (0.2 cl). That's really stealing! Next time we're in the area and hungry, we'll walk an extra five minutes and go somewhere else.
