The worst customer service I've ever seen, constantly making mistakes without taking responsibility and lying.

We were very unprofessionally told to get up and find another seat, and we were even asked to put our beer cups back in their place. Honestly, a very bad experience.

I've been there a few times during my recent stay in Chemnitz. The waitress, as so many others in this town, radiates standoffishness, which takes away from the joy of eating out. The food is pretty good, though.

A lovely, cozy little shop with a modern ambiance. The bar is a highlight. The food was delicious and fruity, served on beautiful dishes. The prices are quite reasonable for the location.

The food was truly amazing. Vegetarian, a bit spicy. I ate too quickly because it was so delicious. The outdoor seating wasn't particularly cozy. But whatever.

We've ordered here several times by phone or via the app. The food arrives quickly, and the delivery people are always friendly. All the dishes here always taste delicious.

Delicious Indian food in a relatively small restaurant.

A huge disappointment. We weren't allowed to sit where we wanted, even though there were seats available. Yesterday I gave a generous tip – today there was no respect. That's not how you treat guests. Never again. Not recommended.

Excellent restaurant, we often eat there when we want something spicy). Excellent home-brewed beer, friendly staff, large portions and lots of rice).

The restaurant was very good, and the drinks and food were delicious. Two people shared a plate, and I would have expected the amount of rice to be increased. Another customer had the same plate on her own, but with the same amount of rice. Otherwise, great service!

We had a quiet dinner here at the end of 2024 and were not disappointed by the taste of the food. The mango lassi was delicious. The ambiance was more like an upscale snack bar than a restaurant, and the restrooms were very clean and tidy. The staff were extremely polite and prompt. Due to the time of day (5:00 p.m.), it was relatively empty, so we were able to sit down. However, there isn't much room.

We love eating here, so why not try it sometime? I really enjoyed the butter lamb.

Delicious food and friendly staff.

We actually ordered delivery. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The spiciness is well described. All in all, the food was excellent quality, including bread and dessert, for 55 euros for three people. We can only recommend it.

After a long time, it tasted like homemade food. As I walked down the street, I smelled delicious food, so I went to Taste of India, and it was worth it. Thank you, Namaste India, for sweetening my day with your taste.

The chilli prawns (chilli jheenga) were very good, and quite a few for a starter. The main course Tandoori Chicken was also a large portion with plenty of meat. The taste is also very good. The meal was rounded off with the homemade Gulab Jamun, which I highly recommend. A dream 👍🏼 I would love to come back.

Unfortunately the food is just average. Unfortunately the naan wasn't homemade and the butter chicken was rather bland. Unfortunately the service is not really attentive. The ambience is mediocre - you sit tightly packed and the flowers on the tables have seen better days.

In the evening we spontaneously decided to go out to eat at the Indian restaurant on Inner Klosterstrasse (Namaste). After we found a hair in our food, the staff reacted annoyed and dismissive. The waitress then pointed out to us that she had thick black hair. In conclusion, she wanted to say that the hair should be ours. In general, we are disappointed with the general treatment of us and will not visit this restaurant again.

Small but nice! We were in a full restaurant in the evening and had to wait a bit. All I can say is patience is worth it. The food was excellent. A real win for Chemnitz. Unfortunately the delivery service doesn't work at all. The delivery time is generally not adhered to and is hung up on telephone inquiries.

I am very disappointed I ordered a garlic naan with 3 times conform before I ordering, but still, i got the wrong 🙃 items. It's a Fladen bred, not a Garlic Naan.

Terrible experience. They delivered the wrong items even after I called to confirm, and they refused to fix it. The vegetable curry was watery and tasteless. Poor service and quality—definitely not recommended.

Very tasty food. The portions are large, but they also like to pack up the leftovers to take home. Booking a table is an advantage as the restaurant is quite small.

The Kadai paneer was quite good but it could be much spicy, basmati rice tasted very fresh and good. This is place is quite small for so many seats. The seating is very compact and you sit often uncomfortably. I ordered Paneer pakodas but the lady brought me chicken pakodas and argued I ordered them with numbers mentioned on the menu. It’s quite annoying when a vegetarian person knows what they ordered and the service person brings meat and argues with you. Food could be much spicy when you request them but it was not spicy enough. Altogether it’s good to visit but make sure your order is correct and repeat the order.

Actually it was pretty good until a hair was found in the food, then it was over to enjoy.

......unfortunately the city of Chemnitz didn't inspire me/us that much and we ended up in Namaste India by chance. Since we like to eat Indian food in Berlin, we can say that it was very, very tasty and finally with a very good spiciness. Just great. We'll be back 😃👍

I found these 3 items in my plate: 1. Onion peel 2. Salad stem 3. Human(hopefully) hair Not to mention the waitress let us waited for ages to take orders. And when I complained about the hair, the waitress didn’t apologize, but accused me that the hair could be from myself instead. Terrible service.

Wir kamen 11 Uhr als erste Gäste, bekamen zwar bald etwas zu trinken, aber nach eineinhalb Stunden noch immer nichts zu essen. Die Mitarbeiter hatten mit Lieferungen außer Haus zu tun und vernachlässigten uns komplett. Wir sind dann genervt ohne Mittagessen gegangen.

It's a shame, unfortunately at lunchtime on Saturday all the tables in the middle were still covered. We were looking forward to eating Indian food at Namaste again in the October sun. That was probably nothing. On the other hand, the tables at the competitors in the immediate vicinity are occupied. We then ended up in the burger joint next door. Not a single customer at Namaste during this time.

Right in the center of Chemnitz the Taste of India… If you get a seat at one of the very narrow tables by the window, you will not only get good Indian food but also a view of the visitors strolling past on Inner Monastery Street.

Really excellent cuisine, the service is extremely friendly and there is seating inside and outside.

I ordered spicy coconut curry chicken. The chicken pieces smelled like rotten or very poor quality meat... there was no coconut flavor, but it was very (too strongly) spiced. I won't be ordering again

A small restaurant with a great range of food and drinks. Mangolassi yoghurt and Indian diesel along with the food was very tasty.

Delicious Indian dishes. If you can't stand spiciness, you should really pay attention to the information on the map. The staff is friendly. We got a table even without a reservation and were served straight away.

Wow, the best Indian restaurant I've ever eaten at, it was so delicious, wow! I would recommend it to everyone, the waiting time was super quick and the food was fantastic

Fair prices and delicious food.

The Namaste India pleasantly rounds off the ensemble in Chemnitz's "pub mile". The boss is friendly and accommodating and sometimes personally shows the guests the outdoor spaces. As is typical for Indians, there is a small local "starter" to get you in the mood before the actual meal. The food is typically Indian, but it doesn't particularly stand out, it is attractively prepared and also tastes good. Of course, only if you generally like Indian cuisine. Interestingly, according to the menu, there is original Indian beer on tap! What spoils the overall impression somewhat is the somewhat confusing payment process. You sometimes have to remind the otherwise very friendly staff that you ordered the bill some time ago. This sometimes goes so far that a guest at the next table goes into the restaurant and pays directly inside. Here you can still work on yourself. Otherwise definitely recommended.

A good place for a restaurant. City center. The food was not bad, I liked it. It was also prepared very quickly. But on the summer playground, you need to wash the pillows. It was a little uncomfortable because of the stains on the sofas

I visited this place twice while staying in chemnitz and I had the worst experience both the times. The staff was very unwelcoming towards me even though I could see them providing a good service to the locals, especially if they were in a large group. Moreover, the food did not compensate for their unprofessional and discriminatory behaviour either. So if you’re planning to go alone or to enjoy a good meal over there, good luck with that!!

We had dinner today for €45 and wanted a voucher without an expiry date in the amount of €45. Redeem €25 from 8/1/20. According to the statute of limitations, this has expired since January 1, 2024. Unfortunately the voucher was no longer accepted. We would have liked a partial amount out of goodwill and taking into account the Corona period in between. The rest was good.

Cozy little restaurant in a more modern style. Food really good. We tried everything from starters, soups to main courses and various drinks. It's been a long time since I've had THIS GOOD Indian food! Compliment. And the service was very attentive and friendly. Price-performance perfect. We would like to come back soon.

First of all, first of all. It's nice that the pub exists and I think the main business is the delivery service. That's why the number of places is small, especially in winter when there's nothing to do outside. It's quite comfortable to sit, but we had the table at the entrance and the door always opens and it gets cold. The food was plentiful and actually quite tasty (we had vegetarian dishes with vegetables or cheese), but some seasoning and salt were missing. The waitress had her hands full, so you can't complain about the somewhat long wait when she's alone. We'd love to come back.

Das Essen dort ist wirklich top und die Bedienung war superfreundlich, allerdings haben wir lange warten müssen, bis diese an unseren Tisch kam, um Getränke- Speisewünsche entgegenzunehmen. Das Essen kam dagegen dann recht schnell.

I tried their food for the first time it was butter chicken amazing taste. I loved every bit of it so rich taste just one thing quantity was less according to the price rest evenrything is perfecto.

Hier waren wir einmal essen und man war sehr bestrebt uns trotz „voller Hütte“ ein Plätzchen anbieten zu können. Die beiden Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen haben sehr gut geschmeckt und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Vielen Dank!

Wir waren 3 Personen, leider waren die Tische schon alle reserviert. Sie haben uns erbeten einige Minuten zu warten und Getränke angeboten. Nach 20' war ein Tisch frei und wir haben sehr lecker indische Speise gegessen. Am Ende haben wir die Rechnung bekommen und die drei erste Getränke wurden für die Wartezeit uns geschenkt. Das war wirklich professionell und es hat uns sehr gefreut.

Ich muss gestehen indisch ist nicht so meins. Meiner Sonne hat es super geschmeckt. Schönes Sitzen.

Wir waren nachmittags da, daher wurden wir schnell bedient. Leider gab es ein Problem mit dem Essen. Wir haben dem Personal aber Bescheid gesagt und es wurde für uns sofort etwas neues gezaubert, was dann auch sehr lecker war. Wenn man es gut gewürzt und original indisch haben möchte, sollte man das bei der Bestellung unbedingt ansagen, sonst kann es sein, dass es ziemlich unauthentisch zubereitet wird. Alles in allem waren wir zufrieden mit dem Service.

Es gibt ein günstiges Mittagsangebot für 7,50 . Man sitzt draußen sehr angenehm. Essen war ok, weder schlecht noch außergewöhnlich gut.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Leider war eine absolut unfreundliche Bedienung da. Alle Pärchen, die sich an einen 4er Tisch setzten, wurden mit Druck aufgefordert, sich an einen anderen Tisch zu setzen für 2 Personen, der sich direkt neben einer Toreinfahrt und einer beschmierten Wand befindet. Und das, obwohl genug 4er Tische frei waren. Als wir den Kellner darauf ansprachen, warum er das macht und die Gäste vertreibt, diskutierte er erneut und meinte nur, dass es ihn nicht stört; wenn die Gäste weg sind. Unglaublich.

Lovely place with delicious food (also vegan!), all guests are welcome with free papadams on the house and fennel seeds after meal (for digestion). Staff is friendly and caring. I truly recommend this place.

I have tried almost all indian restaurants that I know of in Chemnitz. This was an ok experience. [Starters] First of all, the complimentary starter (6 crackers) was served with only one (small portion) of sauce, whereas other desi restaurants provide 4 to 5 different sauces and pickles. [Main Course] The taste of the food was just fine. The ratio and proportion of spices were off. Naan bread, on the other hand, was fine. Garlic Naan was fairly better. The dishes we ordered the following with my ratings for each. 1. Chicken Karhai (Rating 5 out of 10) 2. Daal Makhni (Rating 5 out of 10) 3. Palak Paneer (Rating 4 out of 10) 4. Simple Naan (Rating 6 out of 10) 5. Garlic Naan (Rating 7 out of 10) [Drink] Three Jeera Jal drinks were ordered, and those were really good. [Environment] The environment of the restaurant is really good. Indian music is being played all the time. This is a really clean and hygienic place.

Nicht zu empfehlen, Essen und Service sehr schlecht! Ich war am 04.07.2023 zum Abendessen mit meinen Mädels im Restaurant. Zuerst haben wir über 30 Min. auf die Speisekarten gewartet. Dann dauerte es mehr als eine Stunde, bis wir unsere Hauptspeisen bekamen. In der Zwischenzeit rannte aber der Lieferando-Mitarbeiter ständig rein und raus. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass die Onlinebestellungen bevorzugt bearbeitet werden und die Gäste vor Ort eben warten müssen. Ich hatte Lamm Korma, die Nr. 77 bestellt. Es kam eine gelbe Pampe, in der weder Rosinen noch Mandeln noch Cashews waren. Allerdings waren Kokosraspel darin, die garnicht auf der Karte standen. Sowas esse ich eigentlich nicht. Das Fleisch war so zäh und knorpelig, dass ich es nicht einmal schneiden konnte. Ich habe noch nie so schlechtes Lammfleisch serviert bekommen. Beschwert habe ich mich nicht, da ich Hunger hatte und nicht nochmal 1 Std. auf ein neues Essen warten wollte. Es hat sich auch Keiner erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und es uns schmeckt. Ich habe dann notgedrungen nur Reis mit Soße gegessen. Beim Abräumen der Teller fragte auch Niemand, ob wir noch etwas Trinken wollten. Dann dauerte es natürlich wieder ewig, bis uns einer mal abkassiert hat. Das war mein erster und letzter Besuch in diesem Restaurant. Nie wieder!

Wir waren 10 Personen zum Abendessen und es hat ausnahmslos allen hervorragend geschmeckt! Wir kommen gern wieder. Vielen Dank!
