Köstliches Essen! Geduldig mit unseren minimalen Deutschkenntnissen.

Ambiente, Gastfreundschaft und Essen waren erstklassig. Unsere Bedienung hieß Hina, sie war wunderbar und sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten Dal Tadka und Matter Paneer, und es war köstlich. Der Paneer war zart und frisch! Wir hatten unsere Eltern dabei, und auch ihnen hat das Essen sehr gut geschmeckt, obwohl sie sonst eher wählerisch sind. 😁

Das Essen war köstlich, wir waren als Familie da und haben es sehr genossen. Das Ambiente war angenehm. Frau Heena bediente uns; sie war sehr zuvorkommend, und auch die anderen Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich.

Heute war ich gegen 11:30 Uhr in Ihrem Restaurant und hatte eine sehr schöne Erfahrung. Der große Herr, der uns empfangen hat, als wir gesagt haben, dass wir einen Tisch reserviert haben, war außergewöhnlich freundlich, höflich und professionell. Er hat uns sehr gut verstanden und dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns sofort wohlgefühlt haben. Ich war von seiner freundlichen Art wirklich beeindruckt. Auch die junge Mitarbeiterin, die unsere Bestellung aufgenommen hat, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank an beide für den tollen Service. Ein ganz besonderes Dankeschön geht von meiner Seite an den großen Herrn – er hat unseren Besuch noch schöner gemacht. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ich bestelle sonst sehr gerne bei euch, aber das heutige Essen war leider total wässrig. Bei so einem Qualitätsmangel überlege ich mir wirklich, ob ich hier noch mal bestellen werde. Schade!

Es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Service, insbesondere von Hannah war ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen bestimmt bald wieder.

Das Essen war hervorragend und der Service erstklassig. Die Mitarbeiterin (Hing) war freundlich, höflich und aufmerksam. Ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt. Vielen Dank für das tolle Erlebnis, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Tut mir Leid für die Leute die hier arbeiten, aber das Essen ist einfach nur schlecht, nur süß, überhaupt keine Würze - schmeckt als würde ne deutsche Oma versuchen Indisch mit Gemüsbrühe, Sirup und Maggi nachzukochen

Mittelmäßiges Essen und unfreundlicher Service. Ich war heute mit einem Freund dort. Die Kellnerin war ziemlich unfreundlich und forderte uns auf, an einen anderen Tisch zu wechseln (obwohl wir die andere Kellnerin gefragt hatten, ob wir sitzen bleiben könnten). Nachdem wir ihr das erklärt hatten, sagte sie nur „Okay“ und ging. Das Essen war ungesalzen, aber wir saßen draußen, und niemand fragte, ob wir noch etwas bräuchten, bis wir fertig waren. Als ich bezahlen wollte, wurde ich aufgefordert, mit Karte reinzugehen, obwohl die Gäste am Nachbartisch ein paar Minuten zuvor bezahlt hatten, ohne reingehen zu müssen. Der ganze Besuch war weder angenehm noch freundlich. Das Essen war mittelmäßig. Ich hatte Chicken Masala, und aus irgendeinem Grund war das Hähnchen innen weder zart noch saftig. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Das kleine Restaurant ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Wir hatten bisher immer Glück, auch ohne Reservierung einen Platz zu bekommen. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen. Der Service ist schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Essen im Lecker.

Das Namaste India war immer mein liebstes indisches Restaurant, weil das Essen wirklich sehr gut ist und man vor dem Essen immer einen Gruß aus der Küche bekommt. Allerdings ist der Service leider nicht gut und die Kellnerinnen sind selten freundlich. Wir saßen heute um 21.40 Uhr auf der Terrasse, auf der auch ein anderer Tisch noch besetzt war. Wir hatten unsere Getränke noch nicht ausgetrunken und plötzlich wurden wir leider recht unfreundlich und pampig darauf hingewiesen, dass das Restaurant bereits geschlossen habe und wie wir zahlen wollen. Bei einem humanen Hinweis darauf, dass bald geschlossen wird, kann man sich nicht beschweren, aber die Gäste sofort „vertreiben“ zu wollen, obwohl man noch 20 Minuten geöffnet hat, geht nicht.

Wir haben Essen dort Bestellt. Die indische Linsensuppe schmeckte nach Linsen, mehr nicht, das butter Entenfleisch mit Tomatensosse und "leckeren" Gewürzen (so dioe Karte), schmeckte nach gar nichts, ich hab kein Gewürz heraus schmecken können, nicht mal Salz am Reis. Die Teigbeilagen waren wenigstens gut.

Leckeres Essen und angenehme Atmosphäre. So war meine Erfahrung. Dass die Besitzer jedoch 20 Bewertungen entfernt haben, erscheint mir verdächtig.

Wir haben hier sehr gut gegessen. Preise sind wirklich sehr gut.

Man kann wunderbar draußen sitzen und lecker indisch essen mit supernettem Service

Atmosphäre: Die Stätte nennt sich Restaurant, es gleicht eher einer Banhhofshalle, laute Musik, Küchenpersonal unterhält sich sehr laut, Bedienung speicht ebenfalls laut vom Gastraum durch die Luke mit den Kollegen. Essen kommt, erst 2 min danach werden Besteck und Getränk, welches schon seit 10 min da sein dürfte, gereicht. Vorspeise sehr frisch, Saucen wirken billig und nicht hausgemacht. Hauptgang kommt ohne Mango Chutney und Naan, ich muss daran erinnern. Brot kommt dann sofort, ist leider verbrannt und eher ein trockner Sesamfladen statt ein schön weiches Knoblauch Naan. Und verbrannt. Ich kritisiere das, Antwort „das soll so sein“. Man wird zwischendurch nicht gefragt, ob es schmeckt oder alles in Ordnung ist. Alleine die unbeholfene und sympathische Art machen es wett. Ich empfehle dringend mal eine Schulung „wie bedient man einen Gast“ durchzuführen. Und vielleicht mal einen Regenschirmhalter zu kaufen.

Ich hatte ein vegetarisches Thaali. Der authentische indische Geschmack hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Das Essen war von ähnlicher Qualität wie in einigen der besten Restaurants meiner Heimat Indien.

Ich hatte ein hervorragendes kulinarisches Erlebnis mit authentischen indischen Aromen. Das Thali ist ein absolutes Muss. Die Atmosphäre war entspannend und sauber, was das Restaurant zum perfekten Ort machte, um das Essen zu genießen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und sorgte während unseres gesamten Besuchs für einen exzellenten Service. Insgesamt war es eine tolle Erfahrung und ich kann das Restaurant jedem empfehlen, der die authentische indische Küche und Atmosphäre erleben möchte. Ich werde das Restaurant sehr gerne wieder mit meiner Familie besuchen.

We had a quiet dinner here at the end of 2024 and were not disappointed by the food. The mango lassi was delicious. The ambiance was more like an upscale snack bar than a restaurant, and the restrooms were very clean and tidy. The staff was extremely polite and efficient. It was rather empty because of the time (5:00 PM), so we were able to sit down without any problems. However, there isn't a lot of space.

We were very unprofessionally told to get up and find another seat, and we were even asked to put our beer cups back in their place. Honestly, a very bad experience.

I've been there a few times during my recent stay in Chemnitz. The waitress, as so many others in this town, radiates standoffishness, which takes away from the joy of eating out. The food is pretty good, though.

A lovely, cozy little shop with a modern ambiance. The bar is a highlight. The food was delicious and fruity, served on beautiful dishes. The prices are quite reasonable for the location.

Delicious Indian food in a relatively small restaurant.

A small Indian employee threw us out of the restaurant, inappropriate and unpleasant, if you don't want to work, you lose good customers

A huge disappointment. We weren't allowed to sit where we wanted, even though there were seats available. Yesterday I gave a generous tip – today there was no respect. That's not how you treat guests. Never again. Not recommended.

Excellent restaurant, we often eat there when we want something spicy). Excellent home-brewed beer, friendly staff, large portions and lots of rice).

The restaurant was very good, and the drinks and food were delicious. Two people shared a plate, and I would have expected the amount of rice to be increased. Another customer had the same plate on her own, but with the same amount of rice. Otherwise, great service!

We actually ordered delivery. Everything was delicious and plentiful. The spiciness is well described. All in all, the food was excellent quality, including bread and dessert, for 55 euros for three people. We can only recommend it.

Unfortunately the food is just average. Unfortunately the naan wasn't homemade and the butter chicken was rather bland. Unfortunately the service is not really attentive. The ambience is mediocre - you sit tightly packed and the flowers on the tables have seen better days.

In the evening we spontaneously decided to go out to eat at the Indian restaurant on Inner Klosterstrasse (Namaste). After we found a hair in our food, the staff reacted annoyed and dismissive. The waitress then pointed out to us that she had thick black hair. In conclusion, she wanted to say that the hair should be ours. In general, we are disappointed with the general treatment of us and will not visit this restaurant again.

Small but nice! We were in a full restaurant in the evening and had to wait a bit. All I can say is patience is worth it. The food was excellent. A real win for Chemnitz. Unfortunately the delivery service doesn't work at all. The delivery time is generally not adhered to and is hung up on telephone inquiries.

Terrible experience. They delivered the wrong items even after I called to confirm, and they refused to fix it. The vegetable curry was watery and tasteless. Poor service and quality—definitely not recommended.

Very tasty food. The portions are large, but they also like to pack up the leftovers to take home. Booking a table is an advantage as the restaurant is quite small.

The Kadai paneer was quite good but it could be much spicy, basmati rice tasted very fresh and good. This is place is quite small for so many seats. The seating is very compact and you sit often uncomfortably. I ordered Paneer pakodas but the lady brought me chicken pakodas and argued I ordered them with numbers mentioned on the menu. It’s quite annoying when a vegetarian person knows what they ordered and the service person brings meat and argues with you. Food could be much spicy when you request them but it was not spicy enough. Altogether it’s good to visit but make sure your order is correct and repeat the order.

Actually it was pretty good until a hair was found in the food, then it was over to enjoy.

......unfortunately the city of Chemnitz didn't inspire me/us that much and we ended up in Namaste India by chance. Since we like to eat Indian food in Berlin, we can say that it was very, very tasty and finally with a very good spiciness. Just great. We'll be back 😃👍

I found these 3 items in my plate: 1. Onion peel 2. Salad stem 3. Human(hopefully) hair Not to mention the waitress let us waited for ages to take orders. And when I complained about the hair, the waitress didn’t apologize, but accused me that the hair could be from myself instead. Terrible service.

Wir kamen 11 Uhr als erste Gäste, bekamen zwar bald etwas zu trinken, aber nach eineinhalb Stunden noch immer nichts zu essen. Die Mitarbeiter hatten mit Lieferungen außer Haus zu tun und vernachlässigten uns komplett. Wir sind dann genervt ohne Mittagessen gegangen.

It's a shame, unfortunately at lunchtime on Saturday all the tables in the middle were still covered. We were looking forward to eating Indian food at Namaste again in the October sun. That was probably nothing. On the other hand, the tables at the competitors in the immediate vicinity are occupied. We then ended up in the burger joint next door. Not a single customer at Namaste during this time.

Right in the center of Chemnitz the Taste of India… If you get a seat at one of the very narrow tables by the window, you will not only get good Indian food but also a view of the visitors strolling past on Inner Monastery Street.

I ordered spicy coconut curry chicken. The chicken pieces smelled like rotten or very poor quality meat... there was no coconut flavor, but it was very (too strongly) spiced. I won't be ordering again

A small restaurant with a great range of food and drinks. Mangolassi yoghurt and Indian diesel along with the food was very tasty.

Fair prices and delicious food.

The Namaste India pleasantly rounds off the ensemble in Chemnitz's "pub mile". The boss is friendly and accommodating and sometimes personally shows the guests the outdoor spaces. As is typical for Indians, there is a small local "starter" to get you in the mood before the actual meal. The food is typically Indian, but it doesn't particularly stand out, it is attractively prepared and also tastes good. Of course, only if you generally like Indian cuisine. Interestingly, according to the menu, there is original Indian beer on tap! What spoils the overall impression somewhat is the somewhat confusing payment process. You sometimes have to remind the otherwise very friendly staff that you ordered the bill some time ago. This sometimes goes so far that a guest at the next table goes into the restaurant and pays directly inside. Here you can still work on yourself. Otherwise definitely recommended.

I visited this place twice while staying in chemnitz and I had the worst experience both the times. The staff was very unwelcoming towards me even though I could see them providing a good service to the locals, especially if they were in a large group. Moreover, the food did not compensate for their unprofessional and discriminatory behaviour either. So if you’re planning to go alone or to enjoy a good meal over there, good luck with that!!

We had dinner today for €45 and wanted a voucher without an expiry date in the amount of €45. Redeem €25 from 8/1/20. According to the statute of limitations, this has expired since January 1, 2024. Unfortunately the voucher was no longer accepted. We would have liked a partial amount out of goodwill and taking into account the Corona period in between. The rest was good.

Cozy little restaurant in a more modern style. Food really good. We tried everything from starters, soups to main courses and various drinks. It's been a long time since I've had THIS GOOD Indian food! Compliment. And the service was very attentive and friendly. Price-performance perfect. We would like to come back soon.

First of all, first of all. It's nice that the pub exists and I think the main business is the delivery service. That's why the number of places is small, especially in winter when there's nothing to do outside. It's quite comfortable to sit, but we had the table at the entrance and the door always opens and it gets cold. The food was plentiful and actually quite tasty (we had vegetarian dishes with vegetables or cheese), but some seasoning and salt were missing. The waitress had her hands full, so you can't complain about the somewhat long wait when she's alone. We'd love to come back.

The most delicious Indian specialties. We enjoyed it very much. We ate a vegetarian platter for 2 and were extremely happy with this choice.
