Sehr leckeres Essen. Freundliches Personal. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schönes Ambiente innen und außen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Preise angemessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und gab sich sehr viel Mühe der großen Menge an Besuchern (alleine) gerecht zu werden.

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen dort. Wir haben eine Thunfisch Pizza und den Hirschgulasch mit Spätzle gegessen. Die Pizza war ok, jedoch ziemlich ungewürzt und der Belag nicht durch genug z.B. war die Paprika noch sehr knackig. Der Hirschgulasch war leider etwas zäh aber geschmacklich ganz gut. Bei den Spätzle bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob diese wie auf der Karte angegeben wirklich handgeschabt waren. Die Bedienung war nett und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente war ganz schön, für einen Drink sicherlich eine gute Wahl.

Das Essen war sehr lieblos. Steak war gegart und nicht gebraten. Gemüse weichgekocht und Spätzle ohne Salz. Ambiente aussen war aus den 60igern

Der Service war ziemlich überfordert. Nach 1 1/2 Std. fragte ich mal nach wann wir mit dem Essen rechnen können. 10 min. später wurde es dann serviert. Das Essen, eine Pizza und ein Zanderfilet waren, gut gemeint, durchschnittlich. Das Warten hat sich nicht gelohnt.

Einfach nur großartig! War heute mit meinen drei Kindern in der Nagelfluhlounge essen. Es war einfach alles perfekt. Ambiente, Service, Lage und das Essen. Die entspannte Atmosphäre des Lokals hat sich auf uns alle übertragen. Wir können das Restaurant wärmstens weiterempfehlen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Sind sehr begeistert und sagen vielen Dank für das tolle und super leckere Erlebnis.

Essen ist in Ordnung, die Bedienung sollte ihre Emotionen nicht lauthals in der Küche raus schreien, wenn ihr die Arbeit keinen Spaß macht, sollte man das nicht an den Gästen abladen, Ambiente sehr schön

Sehr gutes Essen aber Service war unmotiviert und vermittelte den Eindruck wir wären ein wenig unerwünscht ohne Reservierung. Hier hilft immer freundlicher zu sein und vielleicht mal ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zu finden.

Ich war die Tage mit meinem Sohn hier essen und speziell von der Kinderfreundlichkeit war ich wirklich begeistert! Die Dame im Service ist super aufmerksam und freundlich! Generell ist die Lage genial, die Terrasse ist schön und auch im Innenraum ist es stylisch und gemütlich. Bisher war ich von dem Essen leider nie angetan und ich muss auch sagen, dass ich das Steak nicht erneut bestellen würde (das Gemüse war zu lange gekocht, das Fleisch nicht auf den Punkt). Die Karte bietet aber interessante Optionen und der Kaiserschmarren meines Sohnes war lecker.

Wir haben die Lokalität zum ersten und letzten Mal besucht und werden sie mit Sicherheit nicht erneut aufsuchen. Die mangelnde Freundlichkeit des Personals hat zur Folge, dass Gäste sich unerwünscht fühlen. Dies kann dazu führen, dass sie nicht mehr länger verweilen möchten. Das Essen entsprach nicht den Erwartungen. Die Suppe war von minderer Qualität. Wenn ein Gastronom keine Gastfreundschaft zeigt und keine Ahnung hat, sollte er in Erwägung ziehen, eine andere Tätigkeit zu ergreifen.

Sehr gute Pizza, kurze Wartezeit, angenehme Atmosphäre-sehr zu empfehlen! Uns wurde sogar Pepperoniöl für eine angenehme Schärfe angeboten!

Neu gibt es hier vor allem Pizza wie überall, und die früher wirklich guten und speziellen Gerichte fehlen komplett. Schade, die alte Karte hatte deutlich mehr Charme. Die Bedienung war dieses Mal auch eher unfreundlich und wenig aufmerksam. Insgesamt nicht mehr das Erlebnis, das wir kannten – mittelmässig.“

Der Service ist hervorzuheben! Super Essen, tolle Location und Ambiente. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Die Bedienung war alleine und hatte sehr viel zu tun. Sie ließ es sich nicht anmerken, war schnell, stets super freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Bewunderung unsererseits! Gehaltserhöhung! Danke :)

Für 1 kleine Espresso Tasse geschäumte Milch 2,50 € und für 2 schief aufgeschnittene winzig kleine Scheiben altes Wurzelbrot ebenfalls 2,50 € ist ein absolutes no Go. Das Essen ist auch nicht gut. Der Chef geht alle 15 Minuten rauchen. Ich kann nur abraten.

Wir haben dort zu Abend gegessen. Die Pizza und der Salat waren sehr gut. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich. Gerne kommen wir mal wieder.

Tolles Restaurant in direkter Lage am Kurpark Oberstaufen. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre, ruhig gelegen und ideal zum Abschalten. Die Bedienung war durchgehend freundlich, aufmerksam und unaufdringlich – genau so, wie man es sich wünscht. Das Essen war insgesamt ausgezeichnet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist der fluffige Kaiserschmarrn: locker, perfekt gebacken und geschmacklich auf den Punkt. Kein liebloses Dessert, sondern echtes Handwerk.

Der Glühwein war leider kalt. Auf Nachfrage ist die Bedienung oder Chefin leider nur sehr unfreundlich und frech und meint das muss so sein damit man sich nicht verbrennt. Das ist wirklich lächerlich. Er war noch nicht einmal lauwarm. Schade wie hier mit den Gästen umgegangen wird.

Der Wein war ausgezeichnet, und das Essen auch. Alles, was wir bestellt hatten, war großartig.

Aufgrund der sehr guten Bewertung für die Nagelfluhlounge dort eingekehrt - wurden jedoch bitter enttäuscht. Eine schöne Lage und wirklich tolles Restaurant - jedoch mit billigem Weihnachtsramsch zugemüllt um ein heimeliges Gefühl zu vermitteln. Es war nicht warm, Kamin war nicht an (wenn er denn schon nicht funktioniert kann man doch ein paar Kerzen reinstellen was gleich eine gemütliche Atmosphäre entstehen lässt). Service freundlich und nett - aber das wars auch schon. Das Essen geht so gar nicht. Für diese Preise erwartet man doch was anderes. Zutaten wurden ,vergessen´ aber extra berechnet, frisch ist für mich was anderes und geschmacklich ist hier noch sehr sehr viel Luft nach oben. Wirklich schade um die schöne Location!

The food was delicious, and the dessert was one of the best I've ever had. There was soft background music, a cozy atmosphere, and they even accommodated my dog ​​when I asked them to seat her. Everyone was very friendly. My dog ​​would have been spoiled with a dog biscuit if there had been one left! 😅 But she got plenty of petting, no one minded, and everything else was perfect. Highly recommended.

Located on the ground floor of the Kurhaus. Not signposted. The interior is lovely, with a modern, rustic charm. Only one young woman was serving. Since many people have a day off on Tuesdays, it was packed at 7:00 PM. She seemed overwhelmed. There was a long wait before she showed us to a table. We only ordered after we urgently requested it. The bartender brought our drinks quickly.

A pleasant lounge where you can enjoy coffee and cake or a good meal. There's something for everyone (from coffee and cake to Kaiserschmarren, pizzas, tarte flambée, snacks, and delicious meat and salad dishes). Children are also catered for with a special children's menu. A meeting place for locals and visitors; also ideal for family groups and birthday parties. In good weather, there's a lovely outdoor terrace with a fantastic view of the local mountain, the Hochgrat.

The service is extremely unprofessional. You politely ask how much longer it will take and get the answer, "As long as the kitchen needs." Totally rude.

We picked up pizza to go this week and ate there the next evening. The pizza was hot and delicious when we picked it up. Excellent value for money. The seating is comfortable, the decor is nice, and the service was very friendly. We had the bread dumplings and the mountain cheese Maultaschen. Both were delicious and generous portions. We highly recommend the Nagelfluhlounge.

Very friendly and courteous service. We were guests at the Parkhotel Oberstaufen. During our stay, one of us became ill and was bedridden with the flu. Since it wasn't possible to get bouillon soup at the Parkhotel, we went to the Nagelfluh Lounge and asked for the soup. The staff was very courteous and prepared the soup we requested and gave it to us, along with wishes for a speedy recovery to the sick person. Thank you for your excellent service, understanding, and helpfulness.

A discovery for us in Oberstaufen, very friendly service and good food in a modern setting.

We ate at the Nagelfluh Lounge last night, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The food was outstanding, the service top-notch. Absolutely high-quality ingredients, and every request was catered to. The entire ambiance is truly dreamy. We highly recommend it, and it's definitely worth the trip.

An absolute recommendation. We visited this restaurant twice during our vacation. The food, service, and beautiful outdoor area impressed us. The absolutely fantastic service is particularly noteworthy. The staff is very friendly. The Nagelfluh Lounge is especially worth a visit for families. Children are very welcome there.

One star for service and food is still too much: The ice cream parlor tasted like ice cream after coffee, but despite being rather small, the price of €6.80 wasn't reasonable. The coffee was thin, and the scoop of ice cream in the coffee was tiny. My husband's mixed ice cream was more like a homeopathic portion, but at €4.50 it was still affordable. We will definitely not visit this place again, because our complaint only resulted in the statement: "So far, no one has complained about the ice cream parlor." The manager added: "Everyone has different tastes!"

A very nice location with a great view and a relaxed atmosphere. The ambiance is both modern and cozy, ideal for an evening with friends or as a couple. The food is fresh and tastefully prepared, and the drinks menu also offers a good selection.

My meal was delicious, but the portions were a bit small. My wife's meal tasted good, but not what you'd expect from a Wiener Schnitzel. The ambiance is pleasant, with a view of the park. The service is friendly and attentive.

The restaurant was really nice and cozy. The tables, restrooms, and everything else were kept very clean. Overall, a great atmosphere! You can't complain about the prices either; we had a really well-made pizza, which was, mind you, larger than average, and paid only €9.50 for it (which is very affordable). The staff and owners were really friendly and very helpful :) All in all, I'm really looking forward to visiting the restaurant again soon; highly recommended!

We went there as a couple to unwind from our vacation. The steaks were of decent quality, but unfortunately the side dishes were completely overcooked and inedible. Service wasn't particularly good, as the waiter kept chatting too intensely with other guests. It took another 20 minutes to get the bill. Of course, this is just a snapshot and doesn't reflect the overall condition of the restaurant. Perhaps we were just there on the wrong day.

Good restaurant with a good "natural" concept.

We were suddenly hungry, but unfortunately most restaurants were closed for lunch, but we found what we were looking for here. A very cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. The side salad also had a delicious dressing. We'll be back! Thank you very much.

We ate here this evening. Aside from having to wait about 10 minutes to be noticed, we waited about another 30 minutes before finally getting our four drinks. The terrace wasn't busy. Two tables had been waiting for quite some time to finally pay (after about 45 minutes, it finally happened). After another 30 minutes, we got our food. Some of it was good (salads, pizza), others (schnitzel, goulash) were clearly convenience food. All of that is fine! What isn't acceptable, however, is the waiter (boss?), who makes rude remarks and reacts rudely! After the second question (30 minutes had passed) about whether we could pay, we were told that the lady could come with us so she wouldn't have to complain any further. That's rude and cheeky when your own service isn't good and we didn't complain but were consistently friendly.

On Easter Saturday 2025, we celebrated my wife's 50th birthday with 55 guests in the Nagelfluh Lounge: a reception🥂 on the terrace, three delicious courses 🥗🥩😋 at beautifully set tables, and then dancing for everyone until the early hours to the powerful sounds of cult DJ Helmut from the Apost'l 🪩🔊🤩 Owner Alin and his team conjured up an unforgettable evening for all of us; it seemed almost effortless and relaxed. Great food, attentive service, a lovely atmosphere - simply fantastic!🔝🥳🙏🏻

The food is excellent, the ambiance is superb, and the service is first-class—we have no complaints. The prices are also perfectly reasonable, and they offer delicious vegetarian dishes.

Closed during opening hours for no apparent reason, even though the opening hours are posted everywhere. Not even a sign informing you about the unscheduled closure. A shame. We came here for this restaurant, among other reasons.

A Hidden Gem in Bavaria! We stumbled upon NAGELFLUHLOUNGE by chance, and it turned out to be an absolute gem—not just for the incredible food, but also for the atmosphere and the wonderful owner! The cuisine was fresh, local, and most importantly, delicious. The place itself felt special—warm and welcoming on the inside. After our meal, we took a lovely walk in the area, which only added to the charm of the evening. We must also mention the owner, who made our visit truly exceptional. He looked after us with a perfect mix of professionalism and lightheartedness—always present, never intrusive. He gave us great recommendations, ensured everything was perfect, and shared stories about Bavarian cuisine and the region itself. It was the final evening of our trip, and while Bavaria as a whole is stunning, NAGELFLUHLOUNGE stood out as a highlight—an unforgettable experience in the best possible way. As my girlfriend perfectly put it: the cherry on top! P.S. We were told we were only the second „tourists” to visit that month (May)—the rest of the guests were locals. It’s clearly a beloved spot in the local community, but still under the radar for travelers. If you come across it during your trip, consider yourself lucky—it’s a hidden treasure waiting to be discovered!

When we arrived we were left standing for three minutes until we were shown to the table. But the atmosphere was very inviting. At the table we received the card after another 5 minutes. After ordering, we waited another 10 minutes for the drinks. The food itself was quite ok. The second drink, which we had actually ordered with the main course, only came afterwards. And this despite the fact that no further orders were in progress. It was better to clean the tables and sort glasses first! Something like that is a no go for me! We won't come again.

We went here for dinner this evening and had a mixed experience overall. First of all, the food and the ambience should be highlighted positively: the dishes were tasty and the interior seemed pleasantly decorated and inviting. Unfortunately, that's where the positive aspects end. When we arrived, we were noticed by a member of staff at the bar, but were neither greeted in a friendly manner nor served. When we asked him about it and pointed out our reservation, he responded curtly and referred us to the boss. This resulted in an unnecessary wait until we were finally shown to our table. A children's birthday party in the back of the restaurant also created a loud and restless atmosphere, which of course the restaurant can't help. However, it was annoying that the children's parents were even louder than the children themselves. When we politely asked the service employee to be allowed to change tables, we had to wait again for the boss's permission. During the meal we ordered a glass of red wine, which unfortunately wasn't brought until around 15 minutes later - by which time we had already finished the meal. The highlight of the lack of service orientation was that no employees were present in the restaurant for at least seven minutes. Instead, we saw both employees smoking outside, even though there were several guests present who could have still been served. Overall, the food was good and the ambience was pleasant, however the lack of attention, long wait times and unprofessional service severely marred our experience. Unfortunately, we cannot make a clear recommendation

We ordered food to go on Christmas Eve. Ordering and picking up went very well, the staff was very friendly. There was duck with red cabbage and dumpling. As a starter we chose the salmon carpaccio with bulgur salad. The food was perfect, there was even a bread dumpling with it. We also liked the fact that the sauce was specially packaged. All in all, we would always recommend it and will come again. Thank you for a great Christmas dinner. 😊

Went there for dinner in the evening, we were the first guests. Nice man in service but drinks took a really long time, very strange. It took at least an hour for our food to arrive. The food was good, but the waiting time until you were served and then, for example, a second drink was on the table, was not possible. You get the card and then you wait for half an hour, even though you have to make eye contact with the service for 20 minutes. The same thing happened to the other guests who came one by one. We then placed our dessert order and left. Really a reason for us not to come anymore. Music selection and sound also bad… What a shame, nice shop

Cool location in the Kurpark in Oberstaufen (Kurhaus) Beautifully furnished room with atmosphere. Good beer. Was only there to drink. You can also dine there with typical dishes.

***Not suitable for people with dietary restrictions*** Because of my celiac disease, I asked the restaurant when I made my reservation whether gluten-free options were available. After talking to the chef, I had a good feeling and was looking forward to the evening. I was told to let the staff know and they would take care of everything. However, when we arrived it turned out that no reservation had been made, which seemed strange. Luckily there was still space on the terrace. I ordered the vegetable skewers, which are regularly served with couscous, and pointed out that the side dish needed to be changed due to my gluten intolerance. I suggested rice or quinoa and offered to accept other alternatives. To my surprise, I still received couscous. When I asked the waiter, I was told that this was gluten-free. Since I know that couscous usually contains gluten, I asked another server. After consulting with the kitchen, she confirmed again that it was gluten-free. Naive as I was, I started trying. It tasted like regular couscous. Finally I spoke to the chef who then admitted that it was regular wheat couscous. This was not only disappointing because I had asked and pointed it out several times beforehand, but it also had a negative impact on my health. Unfortunately, even when I left the restaurant, I didn't have the feeling that they were As the icing on the cake, we were only reimbursed for the drink on the bill, while the food that was delivered incorrectly and that I didn't order was charged in full. The restaurant offers a nice view, but unfortunately that was the only positive thing. The communication between the waiters and the kitchen doesn't seem to work. In addition, the waiters were heavily overloaded and stressed. Even the fact that the reservation wasn't noted should have been a warning signal. Even when leaving the restaurant, I felt like the team were aware of the implications of their negligent behavior, which made the entire experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not suitable for people with allergies.

Wow! Great ambience, very tasty food and, above all, super friendly staff. The food came quickly, hot and fresh. You can sit on the terrace with a great view of the park. Fair prices. We were there twice in three days and received extremely friendly service both times. We were there with our little daughter (9 months) and the staff were very attentive and child-friendly. Unfortunately, this is rarely found today. We were absolutely thrilled and can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant! Thanks!
