My Place in Siegen

We went there for the first time today with friends and we felt completely at ease 👍 my lasagna was excellent and the tiramisu was amazing 👍 we'll definitely be back 🤗

Overall it's okay; the restaurant is a bit small, the food is tasty, and the service is friendly. They were already sold out of tea, and the bill included bread that we hadn't ordered; we thought it was part of the other food we ordered.

There's room for improvement in the service!

Probably the best Italian restaurant in Siegen right now. We'll be back!

We visited Icardi for the first time on December 23rd with a group of nine, and the food was excellent. The antipasti platters are highly recommended. Since we ordered à la carte, we were even more impressed with the food. Everything was simply superb. I will gladly return. Merry Christmas to the whole team!

Lovely atmosphere, small but perfectly formed... The food is really good, and the service is good. There's really nothing to complain about. We like going there, though not all the time since it's not exactly cheap, but it's worth it. Reservations are necessary.

We were there for a company Christmas party (private event, 30 people). There were only two servers, and we waited an hour for our first drink! The service was new, so they were understanding at first that they didn't know what a limoncello was or that it might take a little longer. However, when we asked about the drinks (45 minutes later), they quickly became rude and suggested we could just get behind the bar ourselves. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no tact or customer service! The event was almost called off (at least by one table).... The waitress who was called in afterward was very efficient and friendly. The lasagna and pizza rolls were very good. The place itself looks quite nice.... Lots of potential, which is unfortunately ruined by other things. I haven't experienced the restaurant under normal circumstances, but I have to say that 30 people could easily be served by two servers. The service was excellent, and I didn't have to wait an hour for drinks. What a shame about such a lovely evening... Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, even privately... Once bitten, twice shy... 😉

I recommend visiting this restaurant if you're craving delicious Italian food. The seafood is always fresh, the pizza, pasta, wine, and cocktails are superb... The staff is polite and attentive.

We ended up here while looking for a nice restaurant. We came here with a friend and enjoyed the evening. Great food, good service, and a great seating area. Overall, everything was perfect. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was fresh, and the wine paired very well with the meal. We found the prices reasonable – the dessert (tiramisu) was amazing. My wife and I had a pizza – our friend had a cheese platter, which we will definitely order on one of our next visits. A great evening. One thing to note: there was a Siegen city festival that weekend – which meant the noise level outside the restaurant was higher. Nevertheless, everything worked out very well.

We've always been very satisfied – good food, pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, on August 17th, things didn't go well at all: We waited outside for about 20 minutes without a greeting or menus; when I pointed this out, the server came back without an apology and in an inappropriately sharp tone. This irritated us so much that we left. I didn't want to make this public, so I sent a matter-of-fact email on August 17th – unfortunately, I haven't received a response to date. This is disappointing, especially because we've often recommended your restaurant. Delays do happen, but a brief greeting, a transparent notice of waiting times, and respectful interaction would prevent situations like this. The food is still top-notch; we'll be happy to come back if the service and communication are consistently friendly and feedback is responded to.

First of all: the food is really delicious and beautifully prepared. The menu also has a great variety. However, we waited 1.5 hours for an appetizer. And then another 30 minutes for the main course – even though the restaurant wasn't full. Some guests left because of the wait and skipped their food...and the chef polishes glasses while the waitresses apologize everywhere?! It's a real shame, as the location and ambiance are nice. The concept or the size of the kitchen should be reconsidered.

Very delicious food and attentive, friendly staff. I've even recommended the restaurant to friends several times!

Tastes good and is neat and clean

The food was good, and I really liked the interior. Unfortunately, our group wasn't informed upfront that the food would take a long time due to a lack of staff. This was only explained when we asked after almost an hour. The menu lists a 0.5-liter serving of homemade lemonade, but the glass served was 0.3 liters. Minus the large ice cubes in the glass, you only get 0.2 liters of lemonade at most! Upon inquiry, it was explained that the menu was probably being changed. However, the price charged for the 0.5-liter glass was still the same!

Unfortunately, we waited 1.5 hours for the food, which was however delicious.

A really very nice and particularly authentic little pizzeria. Super nice service that makes us as guests feel special even in times of stress. The food is excellent, everything was very nicely prepared. The tiramisu is to die for. We're always happy to come back! Thank you very much !

Very tasty food! A really very good Italian restaurant with upscale furnishings. Unfortunately it took a long time until we had our food (around 1 1/2 hours). But really with one of the best pizzas!!

Unfortunately I can only give one star. Have reserved a table for Saturday evening. There was no table available for us on site and the statement was “I have no idea how the reservation could be accepted”. Despite having a reservation, you stand there looking stupid, everyone looks at you, no drink as an apology or anything like that. We couldn't get a table anywhere else on a Saturday evening, we were visiting Siegen and the evening was accordingly spoiled. Thanks for nothing.

We had made a reservation for 20 people, but 30 came. Despite this quarrel, everyone found a place and the staff was consistently friendly despite this unexpected stress. The food was great, and special requests were also accepted despite the "full place" - we weren't the ones We were there before and had somehow forgotten the time. Only 30 minutes after closing time were we very politely asked to check out and leave.

We were there in November with a larger group. Nice little Italian restaurant. Despite the size of the group, the food arrived quickly and everyone enjoyed it very much. The young man in service (Bresco?) was very attentive and hardworking. Gladly again at any time.

Cozy little Italian restaurant with courteous service, delicious dishes and fair prices.

From the reservation to the bill, friendly and personable staff, the food was very tasty and of much better quality than the price would have suggested, plus a cozy and modern atmosphere - in short: we will definitely come back! You can spend an entire evening here!

Very nice host and great service. We each had a pizza that was absolutely delicious. Since our first reservation unfortunately didn't work out, we were even contacted by the owner and invited to dinner. That's what I call real service... a great experience. We'll definitely come back.

A little piece of Sicily in the middle of Siegen can be found at Icardi. The attentive staff, who try to implement individual wishes in the best Italian way, is absolutely worth highlighting. Even with 4 small children you are not unwelcome here. The bambinis are very welcome. Regarding the food, I have to say that the pasta dishes were fantastic. You also get an ice-cold Moretti Pils on tap, outside of Italy.

I don't know what others ate, but that was by far the worst meal ever......!!! We ordered the food and picked it up, the pizza was really bad, the lasagne was dripping with fat and the tapas, well, the cheese was soaked in a liquid and the sausage and the ham as well that we didn't feel like eating anymore, plus the eggplant and zucchini definitely wouldn't work were steamed the same day, three red and black olives and a few grapes that had had better days... No recommendation 🤦‍♀️

Far too expensive for the little food and small drinks. But still inexperienced staff, who couldn't distinguish arugula from spinach...

Unfortunately it was a total failure... Table reservation not as discussed, service slow and uncoordinated, wrong drinks, the pizza was swimming in oil, the tagliatelle only tasted of garlic... the prices are ok, but for modest quality and a unsuccessful evening. ... there won't be a second visit for us... it's a shame. The owner's sense of humor is remarkable...

Food was ok, but service was a disaster. We received things that we didn't order and what we ordered didn't arrive. Staff very slow…

I reserved a table in advance. Due to a large crowd, we waited about an hour and a half for our order. But the waiters and the administrator (or the owner of the restaurant) constantly apologized and brought us bruschetta and cannoli as a compliment. It was my mother's birthday and we weren't in a hurry so we weren't upset. The pizza was very tasty and the meat platter consisted of high quality meat. I recommend trying the limoncello syringe! Everything was delicious and I would recommend your restaurant to my friends!

I celebrated my birthday at Ristorante Icardi and can only warmly recommend this combination of restaurant and bar! The selection of drinks, including non-alcoholic ones, was impressive and every sip was a pleasure - especially the espresso martini, the best in town! The pizza is without a doubt the best in Siegen – simply delicious. The great service and the great music from DJs who played live made the evening perfect. This restaurant is exactly what Siegen was missing. An all-round successful birthday in a perfect restaurant and bar! Thank you for everything, dear Icardi team! 💜🌻

Ein hervorragendes Frühstück, liebevoll angerichtet, mit einem super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Dazu sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter, die nicht aufdringlich und dennoch aufmerksam sind. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die selbstgemachte Konfitüre. Auch das Ambiente ist einladend und gemütlich. Wir kommen definitiv öfter und gerne wieder!!

Wir haben hier gefrühstückt und es war wirklich erstklassig! Eine große Auswahl und sehr geschmackvoll angerichtet. Überaus freundliche Mitarbeiter und ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Wir waren jetzt schon mehrfach hier und sind immer sehr nett und zuvorkommend bedient worden. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Der Kaffee schmeckt lecker auch mit Hafermilch erhältlich. Die Petersilien Frikadellen und die Griechische Wurst schmecken auch sehr sehr lecker. Alles frisch und Hausgemacht, gerade die Desserts sind echt ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen sehr gerne hier hin. Super auch zum draußen sitzen.

Wir waren hier um die leckere Torten zu probieren. Das kann ich nur empfehlen. Frische, hausgemachte und leckere Limonade - beim warmen Wetter - perfekt. Sowohl drinnen als auch draußen gab es Sitzmöglichkeiten. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und sehr freundliches Personal. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Meine bestellten Rührei waren weich gekochte Eier und klein geschnitten. Geht nicht.

Ich war nun das zweite Mal zum Frühstück dort, die Auswahl ist reichlich, die Produkte sehr lecker (vor allem die selbstgemachte Marmelade!!!) und Preis-Leistung ist auch absolut in Ordnung. Außerdem ist das Personal sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ich komme wieder.
