Best sushi experience of my life, eat authentic and super tasty. Sake was also a dream

Cozy, warm, friendly, very local place. I would go on a sunday to cure my hangover to the night before.

Best katsu in Berlin. A really cute, clean place. From the get go, the staff was super nice, welcoming and friendly. Frankly, I don’t get people saying the portions are small – they sizes are standard for sushi; and the katsu itself is huge imo. The spicy salmon special rolls were perfectly seasoned, the rice was fresh and pleasant. We got katsu curry as well and the chicken was perfectly crunchy and juicy. The curry was hearty and well-seasoned. Also, the tea cups were so cute <3

Small, totally inconspicuous, granddaughter really wanted to try sushi, nice owner and the child enjoyed it

Love this place. The staff is so welcoming and friendly, particularly to children. It’s very affordable. I like the simple options like avocado or salmon maki and the miso soup. The interior with the wall stickers gives a brief overview of all kind of local activist and alternative projects plus the posters of sumo wrestlers. Just lovely.

Friendly shop, even if it's neither Japanese nor offers very good sushi. It's still good for the price, but you shouldn't have too high expectations!

Does not provide a receipt, only cash payment, the sushi was hot and the tempura was a whole lot to be cut with a knife and rather greasy.

It's simply the best suhsi you can get in the area - for many years. There are many fancy sushi shops nearby, but no one can beat it in terms of taste.

Very friendly staff, very nice and very Kreuzberg (technically its located in Neukölln) atmosphere and very good sushi. But my insider tip: I love their chicken katsu.

Izakaya kind of place to have a small bites and good warm Sake. The Nigiri was tasty. Old Japanese chef in the kitchen which is old always a good nice. No Vietnamese making japanies food.

Very good food. Funny flair. Billing is not understandable, therefore only 2 stars for service. But everything will be fine!

When worlds merge: neighborhood charm meets Nippon! Small and cozy, you always sit near the bar, where you receive very warm service. We had the Japanese schnitzel with curry sauce. Super crispy and juicy on the inside at the same time. The sauce also tasted very rich. Plus a fresh coleslaw. I don't think I've had a better schnitzel in Berlin. Arigato very much!

Toller kleiner Laden mit wirklich gutem Sushi! Die Preise sind sehr anständig, der Service zuvorkommend und nett und alles ist sauber. Ich hatte Set 2 + 1 Nigiri und das hat als Abendessen mehr als genügt. Der Jasmintee ist auch super und sehr mind, kein bisschen bitter. Komme gerne wieder 😁 Achtung: Nur Barzahlung möglich!

The staff doesn’t speak English but they tried to communicate. The restaurant itself is not very nice to dine it so we ordered to go. They have the best katsu curry. I highly recommend it

Ich liebe musashi. Seit mehr als 15 Jahren esse ich dort meistens das Party Set. Ich finde , es ist eines der besten Sushi Locations, die es gibt. Klein, fein, super Atmosphäre im Herzen von Kreuzkölln. Also wer sich dort kein Sushi bestellt, hat einiges verpasst. Ich hoffe, es wird noch weitergehen für musashi...

„Echter“ Ort: familiengeführtes, kleines Restaurant , welches schon ewig existiert: immer frisch, immer lecker - beste Miso - Suppe weit u breit , liebste Atmosphäre weit u breit, Preise über-freundlich gestaltet.

The owner of this place is always super nice and friendly. The katsu curry is amazingly tasty and generously portioned. I always feel safe and cosy here whether alone or with a group.

Piccolissimo ristorante di sushi, con atmosfera molto Tokyo style, buon sushi e proprietario gentilissimo. Gustosi e semplici i piatti combo, molto riuscito il roll salmone e avocado con uova di pesce, semplice ma squisito, e meravigliosa la zuppa di miso! Un altro aspetto molto simpatico di questo posto è la facilità di conoscere e chiacchierare con i clienti dei tavoli vicini. Prezzi molto economici...

Amaizing place , the food comes quick and it is delicious, fresh and well prepared; the prices are fair and it is completely comfortable to be there by yourself. I recommend the unagi sushi 🍣!

Great food, kind staff. For being such a popular place it would be better with a couple of more seats. I eat there any time soon. Highly recommended.

For me this place has the best miso soup ever. I have appreciated also the sushi a lot. The service is great, the lady is very very nice. The restaurant is very small which is not a negative thing, just I dont recommend it for bigger groups. I visit it max in 2 persons.

An der Cola gab es nichts auszusetzen. Sushi und gebratene Nudeln sind eher durchschnittlich und dafür zu teuer.

I just had three types of Nigiri. They were fine. The rice could have been cooked better, with a bit more flavor.

Knappe drei Sterne: 13,50 sind für 2 Maki und 5 Nigiri von übersichtlicher Qualität viel Geld.

Top Qualität zu günstigen Preisen. Ein richtiges Restaurantambiente hat es nicht. Da es aber klein ist, ist es trotdem gemütlich und zu Viert kann man sich auch hinsetzen..

Nette Leute, aber Sushi war nicht frisch. Schmeckte unangenehme. Außerdem hat der Kellner einfach mal am Waschbecken hinter der Theke laut die Nase und den Hals freigemacht, was überhaupt nicht geht. Sehr dreckiger Laden. Leider schlechte Erfahrung

The place is tiny and looks dirty, they made me pay 4.80€ for a bottle of water and raised the price of the other plates I ordered. Plus the sushi is nothing special. don’t go there.

The place is tiny and doesn't look too special, but OMG, the sushi is amazing. It is probably one of the best sushis I've tried in Berlin, if not the best. Also the owner is extremely nice. You can only pay cash, and prices are good.

We payed 13 eur for a take-away meal, and because of the low price we didn’t have our expectations too high. But to find both plastic and a piece of toilet paper INSIDE the rolls was gross… We lost the appetite when thinking of how the food was prepared… wouldn’t recommend :-(

So happy I found Katsu curry here. Amazing place.

Simple and delicious japanese food

ist eigentlich eher ein Imbiss als ein Restaurant, daher machen wir meistens Take-Away. Das Sushi ist von sehr guter Qualität und vergleichsweise günstig. Natürlich echt japanisch und um Lichtjahre besser als all die arabischen Sushi-Läden in Neukölln. Sehr zu empfehlen!

It's a small cozy place and I love the food here! The sushi, the sweet and sour soup, the katsu curry! All are very delicious :)

Ich muss wirklich sagen, ich bin so richtig enttäuscht. Früher war ich hier oft Sushi essen und habe nun als Überraschung zu einem runden Geburtstag die Partyplatte für immerhin 30€ bestellt. Der Laden sieht auch jetzt noch genauso aus wie vor 15 Jahren, nur eben, nach 15Jahren Nichtstuns, wirklich runtergekommen. Das Sushi war leider auch eine völlige Enttäuschung- es war auf keinen Fall Sushi-reis, der Oktopus war nicht verzehrbar, weil total überkocht und wie Leder, der Ingwer bestand aus groben Riesenstücken und wiederum tausenden kleinen Fertzelchen, total zerfledert. Völlig lieb-und geschmacklos. Alles in allem ein Reinfall, für den ich mich sehr geschämt habe.

I've been eating at this restaurant for maybe almost 15 years and it is one of my comfort places in Berlin. It hasn't changed ever since and I really love them for that! I'm always happy with the food and the service and I will always keep going there. :)

Really good and nice prices, inside is very small and things are one in top of the other but has a nice air about its own mess and the food is worth it.
