Beautiful corner place with terrace. You eat comfortable and refined Italian food at the same time, and you drink deliciously. The portions are generous (ideal for sharing) and it is located in a very quiet corner. They change the dishes with the season, now they have an exquisite panzanella (photo). Their bread and olive oil are of the highest quality. Good value for money. But the best thing is the attention of the staff: their preparation, closeness and efficiency are greatly appreciated. First of all: if you want cheap prices, you've come to the wrong place. There is fantastic food here with the best ingredients and great wines. If you don't spend at least €40/person, you're more likely to be doing something wrong. But the price-performance ratio is still right here. The truffle risotto is particularly great.

Long list of wine but very rude service by the female Italian waitress. Did not feel comfortable as they kept asking if I was going to eat. Cashier did not even make eye contact or said “thanks” but gave me a bad look when I press “nein” for tip. Overpriced wine - do not recommend.

Just VERY expensive for something that in my opinion doesn't respect the price. For a 21 € plate of pasta I expected a little bit more! Wine was 9,50€ for A glass: so two plates of pasta , two glasses of wine and 2 espresso, sparkling water (5€ tap water) total 70 € - just if it was very good, I could understand the prices...but so, I really wouldn't recommend it! PS - we Had to buy only a plate cause the risotto was 29 € and one second gang was 45€ ! Insane prices - I'm from Italy and honestly....that's not how it works in Italy!!!

A cozy, friendly and warm place in the middle of the busy city. Interesting menu options definitely make you forget about the pizza/pasta prejudices you might have about Italian cuisine. And that rabbit - that was unforgettable! Wine list shows their serious approach - you will not find the easy and popular wines from your local supermarket. Some rare options are there too. When choosing, you better check the descriptions of their wines online or ask their personnel for help. They are categorised and explained in the wine list, but I still had to consult our waitress to be absolutely sure about our choices. And their grappa!!! It was one of the top three I ever tasted in my life! Lovely place to remember for all of your trips to Berlin.

Super expensive and wasn't very good food...

We had 2 x 0.1er wine. 17 euros... chapeau. But whatever, the wine was good, the rent for the restaurant is probably overpriced anyway and the food doesn't seem to be bad either. But still we would have expected more, firstly that after ordering and - at least - tasting at the counter they would have said: sit down, we'll bring the wine, secondly - as should be usual in good restaurants - a glass of water would be added, thirdly that Snacks (olives and biscuits) are not brought out at the end as if by chance. We have just been in Naples where at least the glass of water seems to be a given.... Would recommend that it be remembered in the future.

Food not good, expensive. Service is terrible. One lady is nice, but one guy is rude and not being nice to customers. I would recommend to find another Italian Restaurent in berlin. You would probably have a bad experience if you go here.

Really extremely overpriced - never paid €16 for 0.1l of wine

One of my favorite restaurants here in the neighborhood! It's really like a little trip to Italy every time. It's really nice to sit both inside and outside. The food is very tasty and high-quality ingredients are used and delicately seasoned. The selection of incredibly good wines is particularly noteworthy - appropriate advice on this is also available every time. I can definitely recommend the restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

We were 3 friends, we ask the owner to get some simple white wine as we're not picky, he recommended one, and it turned out to be 13 euros a glass, so we ended up spending 140 eur to eat one dish each and drink some 5 glasses of wine. Dishonest.

Piccobello everything is paletti, the boss is the nicest boss and the employees know exactly how to do it! The situation was so hot that I ended up drinking the whole bottle of wine as refreshment! Beautiful!!!

Good quality Italian food in a pleasant setting. A very nice atmosphere, with seating outside as well as indoors. The roast sucking pig salad was excellent and the wine was very good value for the quality. Veal pasta was a hearty portion

Recently visited Muret la Barba with a friend 🍷👫. The food was okay, quite basic – nothing extraordinary 🍽️😐. The real highlight is their wine selection, which is absolutely extraordinary and deliciously good 🍇🥂! One note on the staff: I wish they would smile more and show a bit of empathy. Most of the time, they seemed like they didn’t really want to be there, which kind of brought down the whole vibe of the place 😕🙁. It created a strange atmosphere, in my opinion. This isn’t a place I’d rush back to or choose as my first or even second option. I’d only consider Muret la Barba as a last resort if there were no other options available 🌟🌟. Cheers to their wine, though!

Very nice place with great wine. Menu changes 2x per day depending on food availability. There is a lunch and a dinner menu. Wonderful placenta sit outside. Appetizers good quality although expensive. Vitello Tonnato as 20 euros. So many people here are regulars. Nice wine by the glass and a wide selection. You can even have some sent home! Very nice place with very good service although a bit expensive. Definitely on my list to come back.

Schöne, lebhafte, aber nicht zu hektische Location . Schönes Restaurant, italienisches Ambiente. Tolle und sehr leckere Speisen - Antipasti, Pasta, Fisch/Fleisch - alles top. Sehr große und sehr gute Weinauswahl mit großer Expertise. Vor allem aber sehr aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Voll und daher am besten reservieren. Lohnt sich in jedem Fall für Weinliebhaber und Liebhaber italienischer Speisen.

We got advice and drank two glasses of wine each. We were allowed to pay €50 for this. For 4 glasses. I had the naive idea that I would not be recommended an extremely expensive wine, but rather one at a medium price level. €12 per glass is just outrageous. Never again.

The food was absolutely delicious! The eggplant salad was the star of the show, but everything else was also very well-made. The portion of the pasta dishes were quite generous, and each dish was cooked to perfection. They have a good selection of wine as well! However, the tables are a bit small, so it was quite cramped and they are very very busy!

I went to Muret la Barba on a recommendation. The service was unfriendly and looked unkempt. The boss too. The price for a bottle of wine... really ambitious! No introduction to the wines, overall a very taciturn atmosphere. The restaurant as such isn't really piccobello either.

Fantastic ingredients and delicious food, great wine selection, passionate and so friendly team. It's comfortable to sit inside and it's wonderful to sit outside in the summer. The tagliera, caponata, fennel risotto, truffle and seafood pasta are particularly good. Not cheap, but worth the experience.

Great wine selection and casual atmosphere

Very delicious apertivo! Highly recommend all the dishes listed. The taste and quality is fantastic. The seating was a bit tight with other diners and a bit loud because of the proximity. Busy place and helpful to have a reservation on a Saturday night. The menu lists all ingredients in 3 different languages but had a discrepancy when an allergen wasn’t listed in something we ordered. Luckily caught it in time and the staff dealt with it well by replacing the item. Was not a problem and really appreciated the customer service we received. Would recommend and eat there again.

Gusto personale, siamo stati messi su un tavolino molto piccolo in 3 con gli sgabelli. Per niente comodo per una cena (c’erano anche tavoli a sedere normali). Antipasti buoni, la pasta con le vongole eccessivamente piccante . Gli altri due secondi buoni, così come il dolce. Nel complesso un ristorante italiano accettabile. Servizio e cortesia molto buoni, carta dei vini molto assortita

Nice place, but dishonest service. We had a pleasant evening until we ordered food. Despite confirming our order twice, the waitress brought an extra dish without explanation, and later revealed the price of a recommended wine only after multiple orders. We ended up paying for an undisclosed-priced bottle and an extra dish. No customer consideration, just dishonest service.

Strak ingericht zaak met 3 oude Italiaanse haantjes (wel vriendelijk) die rond lopen en heerlijke wijn verkopen. Wel prijzig maar goed. Volgende keer komen wij eten.

Schönes, individuelles italienisches Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen, freundlichem Service und einer sehr guten Weinauswahl. Hier kann man jeden Wein auch als Glas genießen und das ist wirklich selten bei einer so großen Auswahl. Je nach Platz kann man auch in die Küche schauen, wo alles frisch zubereitet wird. Klare Empfehlung. Aber am besten vorab reservieren. Geht auch online…

Achtung überprüfte eure Rechnung!!!! Der Wirt bescheisst die Gäste und lässt seine kellner heulend diskutieren, weil sie wissen was in diesem Laden abgeht! War kurz davor die Polizei zu rufen bis er anfing meine Rechnung so stornieren.

Liebe diesen kleinen Laden. Sehr netter Service mit großer Wein Auswahl (gleichzeitig ein Weinladen) und sehr leckeren Gerichten. Im Sommer kann man auch draußen sitzen aber innen gibt es begrenzt Platz, deshalb lieber reservieren. Das Öl ist auch sehr lecker. Das Brot hätte jedoch frischer/ weicher sein können 😉

It was not my first time in this restaurant, because of atmosphere, delicious food and wine, perfect service. This time it was some mess with reservation (I did booking online from the website, I didn’t receive approval on my email, so I called guys, made reservation through the call, but when I came there was no reservation again, but guys found table for us). Octopus potato salad is smth magic, so simple ingredients, but soooo delicious, for sure they have some secret) perfect olive oil with that smell of freshly cut grass. Risotto was not this time on the menu, but they cooked it for me with no problem. Dessert was smth fascinating: not too sweet, also salted caramel, amaretto, perfect mix (considering the fact I’m not a fan of sweets at all)

This place is such a nice little hidden gem. The staff is amazing. The food is top tier and their aperol spritz is simply the best!!

We went here based on a recommendation from the hotel we were staying at and we weren’t disappointed. The service was exceptional, the wine perfect and the entree amazing. We had the meat pasta for the main and found it a little bland in comparison to the entree. Definitely worth eating here!!

Auch die großartige verlockende Weinauswahl erfreut das Herz. Einzig: die Preise sind recht hoch. Ein Glas Wein mit €10 für 0,1 l ist eine Zumutung!

Meiner Meinung nach sind die Gerichte viel ZU TEUER!!!! Die Portionen sind klein und es gibt auch keine riesige Auswahl der Speisen.

Excellent ! The wine was amazing, the stuff was so friendly and happy to explain to us everything. They also had an amazing plate with variety of Italian cheese, that was astonishing! We were not hungry so we don’t know about the dinner, but I recommend it totally for a glass of fine wine and something small to eat. Thank you!

Ach was soll ich sagen. Immer wieder komme ich ins Schwärmen wenn ich im Muret la Barba mal wieder essen durfte. Alles ist köstlich und deutlich über der Marke der zahllosen Italienischen Restaurants in Berlin. Es fällt eher in die Kategorie Gastro-Bistrot. Serviert werden Produkte der Saison. Es gibt für jeden etwas: Fisch, Fleisch, Pasta, Risotto. Die Weine sind grossartig. Die Preise sind angemessen. Der Service ist kompetwnt und herzlich. Meinem Mops und mir hat es überaus gut gefallen. Hervorhebennmöchte ich auch, dass die Qualität gleichbleibend gut von Besuch zu Besuch ist!

Siamo stati qui senza prenotare con l’intento di bere un buon bicchiere di vino. Nonostante fosse pieno ci hanno accolti e fatto attendere servendoci il vino al bancone. Abbiamo accompagnato con un buonissimo tagliere di salumi e formaggi. Personale molto gentile. Consiglio.

The pasta was great! Finally a place that understands that pasta should not be turned into chewing gum with tomato sauce. They have a huge amount of good wines, but im not an expert. Gametip drop the qr code menu.

Went here for a casual mid week date night and have to say, it did not disappoint. We booked ahead of time, were welcomed warmly with smiles and to a buzzing, casual environment. Our waitress was helpful in guiding us through the tough decision of what to eat and drink as we wanted to eat all the things. After great deliberation and discussion, we landed on a selection of cold starters vitello tonnato, artichoke salad and salmon crudo followed by pasta with ragu and sautéed squid with salad. Everything that came out felt fresh, made with good ingredients and with care. Also, portion sizes were big (which we appreciated). Perhaps we could have just had one of two starters and tried more of the other things. Go here by yourself, with a date, a parent or with a group of friends so you can order all the things, I’ll be coming back soon for sure…..actually maybe I go back today, I’m really hungry now 🤔. Yes, I will go. Buon appetito

Good food but everything missed something. The side salad was fresh but missed some seasoning and I also like some little dressing of olive oil and balsamic. The pasta Raghu was missing salt and some seasoning again. The pasta itself was cooked perfectly and you can tell that the ingredients are great, lovely meat The Parmesan was pre ready and not what the dish would have deserved Place is nice and cute, service is good

Un locale che non ti aspetti a Berlino, curato in ogni minimo dettaglio. Materie prime eccezionali, carta dei vini sorprendente e personale professionale e squisito.

Authentisch & unaufdringlich einfach und trotzdem ein Stück Italien . Es werden nur italienische Produkte verwendet.

We come here every month (in winter time) at least once and even more in summer. Just a year ago we just lived right next to this place and what can I say, we ate there like every week. The food is just lovely and the staff even more - thank you for all the great experiences and dinners! To recommend: mixed Italian platter, ravioli, tuna steak but also pasta vongole etc. actually everything but these are my typical comfort foods :-) and don’t miss out on the great wine they have to offer!

Great spot in the summer as the sun shines right on their outdoor dining area. The antipasti to share were very nice and tasted high quality. The pasta was good and the seasonal "Spargel" dish was delicious. Awesome and practical location if you are currently exploring the city and want to enjoy the sun (a rare sight in Berlin).

Qualität des Essens 4.5/5, Quantität 3/5 (war wirklich nicht viel auf dem Teller) und wir hatten leider trotz Reservierung den Tisch am Ausgang der Küche, der nicht wirklich gemütlich war.

Nach einem enttäuschenden Abendessen in einem 2** Restaurant, hatten wir am nächsten Mittag ein schönes Familienessen im Muret la Barba . Alles hat aufs Beste gepasst : vom Ciabatta mit bestem Olivenöl, Vitello Tonnato, Muscheln, Risotto mit Trüffeln, Nudeln mit Fleischsoße, Caponata und Nudeln mit Venusmuscheln. Auch der Wein, das Ambiente und nicht zuletzt der Service waren sehr angenehm ! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Me and my partner were in the area looking for a little spot for dinner for our final night in Berlin. We were recommended Muret La Barba by one of my friends who had spent a year in Berlin and we were not disappointed. We hadn’t booked a table and they managed to find us a place to sit and were friendly and very accommodating. We were asked about what wine we wanted we were unsure between two so they brought them out and allowed us to try them and then we chose a bottle which was brilliant. There were so many different wines to chose from in all different price ranges. When they bought the wine over we were given olives and bread on the house. They even refilled bread basket when ran out. My parter who is Italian had the Steak and I had the ragù. After we finished our meal we had to go to the chefs to thank them for our dinner. My partner even told them how the food was almost as good as his Mama’s. This is a must visit location for a meal in Berlin.

Da es schon lange kein Geheimtip mehr ist bitte unbedingt vorher reservieren.

Come with the right expectations. This is a wine shop that serves meals. So the set up is pretty basic. But the food is authentic Italian and the very friendly helpful staff are Italian. Wine list is fantastic (it is basically a wine shop after all) but you had better be sure that your QR Code is working - there is no paper version of the wine list and wandering around checking the shelves to see what you like takes a long time, is difficult given the height of the shelves and will annoy the peope at the tables by the shelves. I'm writing this review at the end of a long trip starting in Germany and going through Italy. I would say that the style of food is definitely authentic and whilst the quality is not up to the best places I ate at in Italy, it compares fairly well with the average. I normally don't eat Italian outside of Italy but I'm glad I made the exception for this place.

Das Essen hat eine sehr gute Qualität, der Service ist ganz gut. Allerdings haben die Preise für die Flasche Wein aus meiner Sicht zu stark angezogen. Beginnt aktuell bei knapp unter 40 EUR pro Flasche. Das ist ein wenig ambitioniert in meinen Augen. Die Auswahl ist sehr vielfältig.

Seit längerer Zeit wieder ins Muret. Mandel-Ricotta auf Auberginen Püree und Tomatchen (lecker!). Lachsforelle (mariniert) mit Fenchel (lecker!). Buchweizen Nudeln (hausgemachte) mit Kartoffeln, Wirsing, Käse (super lecker!!). Linguine mit Venusmuscheln (lecker). Weißwein aus Lazio von Casale del Giglio (sehr angenehm). Tiramisù (sehr gut). Espresso (sehr gut). Grappa und Amaro Sibilla (toll). Personal: kompetent, entspannt, freundlich. Einige sagen, daß es teuer ist. Wenn man bedenkt, daß für das gleiche Geld man sehr oft mittelmäßig ißt... Um gut essen zu können, man muß Geld ausgeben, oder zu Hause kochen.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel. When we arrived, we found a basic and austere interior, and a cold reception. We were openly chastised for not viewing the menu via their app. After an awkward silence we were finally shown a paper menu. I asked the waiter politely ‘do you have any olives?’ At this point, he bent to my level, came close to my face and said ‘PLEASE…’ very loudly. Without a smile. In my shocked silence he repeated ‘PLEASE’. I was shaking. We got up and left. We went to a friendly Italian restaurant around the corner with excellent food and service.
