Was wir in dieser sogenannten L’Osteria erlebt haben, spottet jeder Beschreibung. Nur weil wir uns an einen anderen, freien Tisch gesetzt haben als den, den uns der Kellner mit der auffälligen Narbe zugewiesen hatte, ist dieser komplett ausgerastet. Vor allen Gästen hat er uns auf übelste Art angeschrien, angeschwärzt und respektlos behandelt. So ein entwürdigendes und aggressives Verhalten ist uns in keinem Restaurant je untergekommen. Wir haben das Lokal sofort verlassen und können nur jedem dringend raten, diesen Laden zu meiden. Service auf unterstem Niveau, absolut inakzeptabel und beschämend!

Nous avons dîné en terrasse et commandé 2 pizzas ! Magnifiques pizzas de 45 cm de diamètre avec un rosé de la maison ! Une belle adresse pour qui aime la pizza avec une pâte soufflée craquante et mozzarella fondante

Everything was good until the point where the waitress (blonde hair, middle aged) told us that we HAD to tip because she has to give the tip to the kitchen.. we have never experienced anything like that.. that was the last visit.

We arrived on a Friday and half of the suggestions were already no longer available. We got the starter together with the main course. The bruscetta and orrechiete were tasty. But carbonara without taste. But especially unfriendly waiter. We would rather not come back here again. Regrettably.

Ze probeerden ons te scammen door meer te vragen voor te betalen dan wat we effectief betaald hebben. Na we dit te wetn kwamen dat we meer betaald hadden dan we hoefden, wouden we ons geld terug maar gaven ze het niet meer terug.

Despite the fact that I wanted to sit outside first and even though the outdoor area was already closed, this wasn't a problem. Even when I wanted to go in like an annoying guest, there was no resistance and the service was great! Gladly again and the pizza is highly recommended!

Amazing Italian restaurant in Berlin! If you love giant-sized pizza, this is your place. The waiters are friendly and the aesthetics are very pretty 😄

If you're not eating pizza, the portions are really a joke (small and expensive). We hadn't even finished eating and were already asked how we wanted to pay. The waiter barely understood us, which wasn't just because the music was too loud. First and last visit

We were there spontaneously yesterday and we really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and it was very quick. The pizza was huge and very tasty, and the pasta also tasted good. Of course it's not a fancy Italian restaurant, but for the price on Alexanderplatz it's a really good choice. :)

I have never experienced service like this - a living room feeling is inevitable. Food great, if Berlin then here!

Unfortunately noodles clump together. When spoken to, yes, it would have been like that several times now. It's a shame, because you can't buy anything from it if it's inedible. Drinks were served large without asking about the size. Although they were intended to be small, the price was poor.

Unfortunately I can't rate the food because we didn't eat. Waited 25 minutes, no waiter came, didn't even look at me! Just cheeky!

Ein schneller Mittagslunch war geplant. Nach einigen Anlaufschwierigkeiten wurde uns ein Platz angeboten. Die Preise waren günstig und die Speisen sehr üppig von der Menge. Insgesamt waren wir hier trotz Wartezeiten sehr zufrieden.

Unfortunately, the standard here is not the same as in the usual L'Osteria branches. The carbonara felt like a soup with noodles, and the rest of the food didn't meet expectations or what we know from other branches. The service was nice but in 3.5 hours you weren't even asked if you wanted to drink something else.

We had a lovely evening. And very tasty food. The service was very good and there wasn't a long wait. Absolutely recommended.

Food is good, everything else is less so. Ordered a table for 16 people. At the entrance we first checked whether there were 16 free places. Then we were assigned to a larger table and two small, wobbling tables, separately from each other! The small ones right in front of the kitchen/pizza station (smell) and at the passage, so there was a big lack of space. We were also asked to leave the restaurant after a maximum of 90 minutes. We definitely would have made it, but the staff would have had to cooperate in terms of ordering, speed, etc. We got the appetizers before the drinks! The main courses were fine, as usual. As a note: If everyone had chosen a pizza, where would they have found space!? When paying, asked the waiter about the Amore hearts, scanned the QR code in the app. That didn't work either because the points haven't been credited after 5 days. And the volume of the music is just unbearable! If you want to feel comfortable while eating, I recommend choosing another restaurant.

Solid L’Osteria. Like any other. Good food nice service.

Very good Italian food! The only drawback for me was that I did not sense the restaurant was very English friendly. I suspect it was because many of the staff did not speak English. I don’t mention this as a criticism, but only an observation that has a tendency to create an uneasiness. I’ve had dinner here twice and found the food to be very good. In spite of the uneasiness due to the language barrier, I would still highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. Looking forward to returning the week of April 14, 2025 !!

We had a delicious meal there and were served very friendly.

The food is cheap and good, the shop is quite loud, also because of the constant music. What's annoying is that one of these card payment devices is also in use here, which immediately specifies tipping options from 10% and higher. You then have to calculate and enter the tip manually - which is annoying - in order to avoid the obligation.

There are nicer Losterias (Hamburg 5 stars)

We got there around 7:50 p.m. We were then assigned a table very quickly. Unfortunately, we were virtually ignored by the waitress until 8:20 p.m., because despite repeated assurances from different waiters that we would be served immediately, we had to wait while guests who arrived later had already ordered and received their food. It was only when one of us stood up to get a waitress that we were noticed. Then, however, we were served friendly and quickly and after a short time we also had food and drink. The food (we all had pizza) was very tasty and is really recommended. Paying also went very well and quickly. All in all, the 4 stars are very justified because despite initial problems, it was a great evening with delicious food.

The three of us were assigned a table (23?) next to the service counter in the afternoon. At the back of the wall, the large round tables with certainly more comfortable seats and more space were all free and remained so. Splashed twice from the cleaning bottle when wetting the cloths for wiping the tables behind the service counter. That's really pleasant. ^^ If I order 0.5 liters of beer, I want a glass filled to the calibration mark and not two centimeters below. Pizza huge and basically ok. Unfortunately, it cools down faster than you can eat it. Topping (Pizza Gamberetti) distributed too unevenly. Some relatively large areas at the edge are only covered with cheese. Paying is an act that makes your hat string burst. It was necessary to tell three different employees three times that we wanted to pay before someone came. The cashier “made a mistake” (apparently he didn’t book all the products on our table) so he stood there with his device for minutes and couldn’t tell us the amount to pay. We were not presented with a receipt/invoice (and yes, I don't feel like having to actively ask for it every time. A bad habit in restaurants that is generally widespread). In the end I calculated what I had to pay myself. But then I had to pay less (apparently a drink was assigned to another table and already collected). Atmosphere was busy and stressful, we didn't feel comfortable.

The pizzas are very large, very good and at a good price. I recommend sharing the pizza, half a pizza is like a whole one in Spain.

Since the owner asked, I am going to explain my ratings, after the covid19, one of the things that are important for me is having some sort of washing/disinfecting device near the tables. I prefer not to go inside for it, but I asked, and the lady said it's not available. Other than that, the food was good, and I would give them five if it were another time.

One of the best pasta places in Germany. It is always quality and the pasta is al dente, with a spectacular sauce. The pizzas are huge. It is good value for money. The premises are usually pleasant and modern. Good service.

Very rude waiter (brown hair and 3 days beard), the restaurant was almost empty, but he still sat me right at the front next to the entrance. There were still 3 tables occupied in the large room, but after 20 minutes I still wasn't allowed to order, so I left. Too bad!

I went there with my friends and one my friend has a 4 months old daughter. We switched the seat because the seat where we were sitting, there was no place to put the pram. The waiter came and started shouting on us - "You should maintain the decorum of the place, you should have asked me before switching to some other seat. When I have told you to sit on one seat why did you switch without my permission. If there was another manager at my place, you would not get the seat and he would throw you out of the restaurant". This happened when the whole place was empty and there were not many customers in the restaurant. Very disappointed. The waiter could have said these things politely. We would be happy to accept our mistake but insulting your customers that too when we had a baby 4 months old only with us.

I ate a BBQ pizza and it was really tasty, just too much. Maybe the pizzas could also be offered in smaller sizes. I would eat there again.

The restaurant has charm and nostalgia at the same time. There is a bar area at the entrance and a restaurant area. Looks very cool. Food is delicious. The pizzas are large and topped just right. There's not too much on it and it harmonizes with each other. The staff is friendly and we felt comfortable with children. Pens and a coloring picture were immediately brought. Recommendation goes out.

I recently had an evening meal at this restaurant and was left very disappointed. The food was fine enough but the service was simply rude and unacceptable, from one waiter in particular. He was rude from the offset and left us waiting to pay at the end for at least 25 minutes, noticing but ignoring us several times. Another waiter had to help instead. Wouldn’t recommend

Ordered 2 pizzas from Wolt - they arrived cold. Ok, the restaurant can't do anything about that. But the pizzas weren't cut, the pineapple pieces on the Hawaiian pizza were cut carelessly and unevenly, and the crust was burnt in places. Rarely have I received something so disappointing

Very unhappy with the customer service. I got pushed out of the way by a very rude employee. Then the same employee decided to ignore us when we were the only people left to pay and he did not cooperate, he simply told us "I am finished". We waited for 20 minutes to pay the bill. He ruined what would've been a good experience. Please address the issue.

It’s a very big restaurant in the city centre. We just walked in once during the weekend and got the seating. Next time visited office team lunch. Even for more than 10 people they could give us a seating where we all could sit together. I liked the open kitchen concept. Pizzas were crazy big. I could only finish half but they nicely packed for takeaway the remaining portions. The salads were tasty. The price was expensive. Taste of the food was good. Ambience was also good. My colleagues really liked Ravioli. A dish for the next visit.

Wow! An absolute hidden gem of Berlin! We stumbled upon this place after leaving another restaurant before even ordering due to disappointment! And Losteria really made our night! We hadn’t booked and came in on a busy Saturday night but thankfully we got a table within 10 minutes! The pizzas were absolutely delicious I had the ham and mushroom and my partner had the bbq chicken. Pizzas are huge at a 45cm circumference and very cheap too! I would definitely recommend both the passionfruit aperol spritz as well as the rhubarb aperol spritz for drinks too. For two people with a pizza each and two cocktails each the bill came to just less than €60. If I’m ever in Berlin again I would definitely go back

We spontaneously ate in this shop at lunchtime. We got a place quickly. The service was slow but friendly. The pizzas were okay but unfortunately two people couldn't tolerate the pasta and had to throw up afterwards

Pretty steep The shop is very small, tables are packed close together Quite a train station atmosphere, it was very loud and you felt like you had to shout at each other to have a conversation The staff didn't look at us with their asses, we had to beg 5 times to be served and at the end we were “allowed” to pay.

Probably the best Italian restaurant I have visited in many years, the pizza was super delicious, the atmosphere is delicious, many guests, but no waiting time for the food under ten minutes from ordering to the food arriving

Fuimos como grupo de 7 con chicos adolescentes muy experimentados que comen pizza! Habíamos reservado por teléfono un par de horas antes y estaba muy ocupado, así que recomendaría reservar. Todos juntos tenían lasaña, varias pizzas, risotto y tiramisú. Todos fueron declarados deliciosos y las pizzas eran masivas! Buen Prosecco y vino tinto también. El servicio de comida era eficiente y agradable, pero difícil de conseguir la atención de los camareros entonces, ya que estaban tan ocupados. También hubo un problema con la factura - algo de comida de la mesa de otra persona puesta en nuestra factura - que se habían ido sin pagar por todo. Tbh si no hubiéramos tenido un hablante de alemán con nosotros no creo que lo hubiéramos arreglado. ¡Pero ordenado fue y presumirá un error genuino en lugar de intentar equilibrarse!

I saw their new poster and I feel excluded by them. I am German by birth, white, have Polish ancestors, but otherwise apparently completely abnormal without any black relatives. I can only be on the right, right? I always thought Osteria was supposed to be a reminder of the East. But apparently she is no longer what she used to be. I will no longer eat there or in any other Osteria with this advertising concept. I feel discriminated against.

As an Italian I can say that I ate well. The pizza was good, the carbonara couldn't be defined as such because it was totally different from ours, both in appearance and flavour, but still for a pasta dish it was very good. Prices a little high compared to the Italian average, but in line with those of Berlin. I recommend it to you.

Sometimes “less is more”...The pizzas are way too big. No wonder the waiters are stressed because they are just busy packing up the leftovers...! My spaghetti “Aglio olio” didn't taste like anything... I then ordered chili oil, but that was just what it was called... But the young crowd that frequents there probably doesn't have such high expectations...

Nice place, top food near the square, polite and informed staff

Ambiente caotico e con spazi ridotti. Di italiano la musica... il resto ci prova. La pizza discreta come pasta (è del tipo sottile croccante, quindi nulla a che vedere con la napoletana), ma i condimenti lasciano a desiderare: una passata di pomodoro troppo liquida e fettone di mozzarella (scarsa qualità) messe a crudo per cui non filano. Spaghetti alla bolognese appena appena sufficienti (ragù scadente, almeno erano al dente). Ottimi invece i dolci che salvano il risultato finale. Il tiramisù è davvero da encomio.

Worst service ever received. Mains came out cold. Then plates were taken away and waited 40 minutes for dessert order to be taken. Gave up waiting and still had to go up to the waiter and ask for the bill instead. Would avoid like the plague

Me and my girlfriend just had dinner there. The pizzas were absolutely delicious, but the service was poor. A waiter flirts with you and keeps asking where you live and where you come from if we are studying. Then tell me what nice glasses I'm wearing. I don't think that's possible at all. Really bottom drawer.

Wow. Lovely pizza and lovely attentive man, who was Spanish speaking. Couldn’t wait to come back….how very sad was this. A female worker, who was rude and VERY confident from the offset. Quite happily ate a pizza, then spoke with her mouth full, numerous times, acted like she owned the place…maybe she did! Asked to Pay our drinks bill, was ignored. Very sad. This place is lovely. Came back for our booking….still waiting now to be served. Been here for about 45mins. Big thumbs down for me.

Super nice employees. I was there today, I wasn't looking for anything specific, I had a fever, around 38.0, and had an important appointment, but I was supposed to eat something warm beforehand because I was so cold and I felt uncomfortable. I ordered a tomato soup (really delicious!) and the waiter found out that I had a fever and was very nice and sweet and brought me hot water with ginger and lemon, that was really attentive, thank you! Nice place with nice people and a pleasant atmosphere 🫰🏻🫰🏻

Get a place for two people without a reservation. The staff is nice and attentive. The pizzas are huge and delicious. Unfortunately, as always in such large stores, it is unavoidably loud. But a clear recommendation for Berlin-Alex.

A restaurant from the L'Osteria chain with typically large pizzas and down-to-earth Italian pasta. The service is excellent, extremely friendly and incredibly well organized. The wait is comparatively short. However, I deduct points for the extreme loudness, which in addition to the conversations of the others in the dining room is due to the constant very loud background noise from the kitchen (pots, dishes, everything is loud). You can look into the kitchen, but unfortunately you have to endure these noises. You can hardly have a conversation. I don't know that from many other branches of this chain. It is therefore uncomfortable in the interior. However, you will get full and the price-performance ratio is really very good for Berlin.

Finally a very tasty pizza again, the base is crispy, the edges are easy to cut, and the toppings are good. Unfortunately, while I was there, the service staff were more preoccupied with themselves than serving the guests in a friendly and good manner. That day I felt more welcome as a guest in the chain's other restaurants in Berlin. Update, November 25th, 2024: I have been here as a guest a few times now, and I was mostly satisfied with the cuisine and service. I can live with a forgotten order and a 30-minute wait for bruschetta later in the evening, around 9 p.m., with the friendly message from the employee. However, I have a lack of understanding with three employees in the kitchen who eat food there, regardless of whether they work in service or in the kitchen, regardless of whether they use a spoon or hold their hand in front of their mouth. Employees who see this say nothing. It also seems normal that their hands are not washed/disinfected after breaks or other activities. A kitchen employee packs his down jacket under the work table after his (cigarette) break; green and blue microfiber cloths lie on white worktops. Yes, it almost seems like people are happy to have employees there instead of making sure that these people also take a picture for guests. The glass front was sprayed with cleaning agent 3 times within 1.5 hours and wiped with kitchen roll without covering the food contained in the containers underneath, delicious and bon appetit. Things are still not going well here.

L'Osteria was amazing! Though there are a couple in the UK, we'd never been before, and we pleasantly surprised! We both had a pizza each (which we were warned were huge!) and they were! Had we not been very hungry, we could definitely have shared one between us. The staff were so friendly, and doing the pizzas in a love heart shape was a very cute touch!

A little too much pizza on the menu for my taste. I love Vitello Tonnato when the veal is swimming in the tuna sauce. In the Osteria the sauce is hidden under the meat. That's not my thing. The risotto was - as is often the case in restaurants - not chunky enough. All in all OK. Update after two years: a lovely evening. The Vitello still doesn't have enough sauce for me, but that's just the way it is and completely OK. The black noodles with shrimp from the monthly menu were really tasty. I'd love to come back.

Girls night at this place and it was outstanding. There is high praise from the waiter to the kitchen. All of our wishes were fulfilled, with lots of wit and humour, it was a successful evening for everyone. Thank you for that, we'll be happy to come back!🤗

In der L’Osteria geht die Türe auf und schon fühlt man sich wie in einer typisch italienischen Osteria: Hier kommen Menschen – Familien, Freunde, Pärchen, Jung und Alt – zusammen, um gut zu essen. Es ist ein bisschen laut, lebhaft und über allem schwebt der köstliche Duft der echten italienischen Küche. Ein offener, herzlicher Ort, an dem man so sein darf, wie man ist und sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Wir haben dieses neue Konzept zuerst bestellen, bezahlen und dann Essen ausprobiert.  Es hat wunderbar geklappt. Die Auswahl und Qualität der Speisen war sehr gut. Es wird alles ganz frisch und transparent zubereitet. Fazit: Preisleistungsverhältniss völlig in Ordnung.  Wir kommen wieder.
