Pizza with too few toppings and sometimes soggy. Very unfriendly service and very loud.

Excellent food, great price and service

Food of varying quality, large pizzas with good value for money. Service is sometimes subpar, like in most branches. Ambiance is ok, but wouldn't want to sit outside.

I can't even count how many times I've eaten and enjoyed it here. Every time I'm in Berlin-Mitte, L'Osteria is a regular part of the program. The food is delicious, the prices are fair, the service is friendly and even small special requests are fulfilled. See you soon

The carbonara was super good, and I loved the atmosphere there! The server was also very kind!

We were on a bike tour through Berlin on Sunday and wanted to stop at L'Osteria. Since it was our first visit, we politely asked the waiter if we could just sit somewhere on the terrace or if we had to go all the way into the shop first. He replied in an arrogant condescending manner that we had to go to the store first. Even guests who were already there noticed this and spoke to him about it. His answer was: "You should first turn your head on before asking questions, as they will then answer themselves." The guests who spoke to him shook their heads and thought that what he said was an understatement and that this was a reason for them not to visit this store again. We didn't order anything ourselves, but left this shop, where guests are treated so rudely. Every restaurant does it differently...either order at the counter and then take a seat or look for a seat straight away. Our friendly and polite question was probably not really inappropriate. In any case, it is clear to us that we will not be coming back and this rudeness is also a reason not to recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Extremely rude staff. Average ok food. It could be worse, but definitely better. 3 crumbs on top of the pizza. The vegetarian pizza is a total impudence. 3 crumbs of paprika, but then a fist-sized pile of champions in the middle, undistributed.

Terrible staff, I asked politely whether I should order at the table or in the store. I was just yelled at and told to go inside. Other guests pointed out the waiter's rude manner, to which the only response was "you should turn your head on." Even the other guests replied that they no longer wanted to visit the store in his manner. I decided not to do that and went a little further to Alex am Alex. Absolutely not recommended, regardless of whether you are from Berlin or Berlin visitors.

Large pizza that unfortunately didn't taste like anything.

Super delicious food and super friendly staff! I've always had good experiences here. Even when it's busier, they kindly point out that it might take a few minutes longer and the staff are always friendly and accommodating :) There are a lot of vegetarian options here and every dish I ate, was extremely tasty. I really, really enjoy coming here.

I don't recommend this place, the food is bad, nothing special. The pizza was on the table instead of on the plate because it was so small. The service is hopeless. At the beginning the gentleman was there for us, but at the end he was rude and threw our money :))

Rock solid, just as you would expect from L'Osteria. Good food, service efficient and friendly too.

I rarely go to chain restaurants, but we ate here recently as a large group and I really enjoyed it. My meal (spaghetti aglio e olio) was very tasty. They also offer some interesting drinks here, such as a non-alcoholic martini.

Good atmosphere and food. Terrible attention to service. The waiter did not agree to speak in English, and it took them a while to take orders and serve us. There were tables that were seated after us and started eating earlier. A shame because, as I have already said, the food and the atmosphere were not unpleasant, but there are workers who do not accompany the site.

I at my table and 4 other people at two other tables sat outside for over 30 minutes. Nobody came and brought a card or even wanted to take an order. Although more customers were served outside and you could see people sitting there. Then after 30 minutes! The waiter who spoke to me then said... "yes, these tables are not being served at the moment". Wow. And so 5 potential customers left. 👎

Asked for a table for one and was greated with "how sad" I took.my sad money to another restaurant nearby. Maybe teach you staff to be less condescending and rude

The place has a nice atmosphere and location is amazing. We had the pizzas and they were huge (we had to pack nearly half of the pizza for takeaway) and they were really good. The service was really not great. The waitress was in a bit too much of a hurry. Moreover during takeaway they packed the pizzas with meat and pizzas without meat together. The tip system is strange as it was not very straightforward (the tips are like 10,15,20% or you give the actual tip you want to give) and moreover when I didn't leave a tip, their behaviour changed a bit.

Large pizzas. It's also nice that you can share a pizza by combining two pizzas. I like the taste, but the dough was very thin and only really became more flavorful after we added some extra chili oil. It was pleasantly busy in the shop and the girl who helped us was friendly.

I really didn’t expect to be treated like this from the employee .I was with two of my friends and we definitely wanted to eat there .At first he told us he had lots of reservations and if we want we can sit inside. Inside there was so hard to move and we asked another employee if we can change the table.He brought us to a table outside.Everything was okay until the first blonde employee came and told us we have to move,that his colleague did not know about the reservation,either we go inside or we move and get out.There is no way to treat a guest like this.I told him can we please stay here,because you already can’t give the whole reservations the tables outside when you have only one free.He was like we are here in germany,you can leave and Schon abend noch.He ruined our stay in Berlin and the guy has to learn to controll himself when there is too much work,or change his job.

I've noticed inconsistent quality for years. It's a shame actually. Today: putting a little tomato sauce and cold cheese on a warm pizza for an extra €3.50 is pretty cheeky

Very tasty food, great prices and really gigantic pizzas. Attention - For normal people, I recommend only sharing half a pizza or one pizza with another person. The really large and generous sizes make you feel full! 🍕😋

Fantastic Italian pizza...but be careful, the pizza is not individual like the real Italian one. One pizza eats two people.

Super nice afternoon with very tasty food. The pizzas are huge and incredibly tasty! Staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating! Ambiance was clean and cozy. We can only recommend it!

Normally I don't write reviews often, but today I'm happy to do it :) The two of us had dinner here today (L'osteria regular customers from Austria 😉) and as usual it was busy. One waiter will be remembered for being so friendly and helpful, even though the circumstances were obviously very stressful. Even if there are longer waiting times, with such warm service (and friendly company) you're happy to accept it! ❤️‍🩹

We sat down at one of the many free tables outside and were asked to be seated. There we were told that everything was reserved and that they had “internal issues” and that we should wait 15 minutes. There are no reserved signs anywhere, at least 10 free tables. It was 3:30 p.m., not rush hour! We then left the store, never again!

Hello ladies and gentlemen Since I wasn't too hungry when I entered the restaurant, I thought I'd order a salad. When I had the choice between a side salad for €6 and a normal one for €14, I chose the €6 salad (which I regretted) and I also felt like chicken, so I ordered chicken for €4. I got a mini salad in a small bowl with a whopping 4 pieces of chicken, which is an absolute disgrace for €4

The mushroom risotto was so wet it seemed more like rice soup. The rice wasn't fresh, and the beef filet is some of the worst I've had in a long time. The taste was OK, but the both the execution and the quality of ingredients are lacking.

The attitude of one of the waiters was very disrespectful, as if it wasn't enough that he shouted at me at the entrance for entering the wrong entrance, he also waited for me to take my drink from his hand, that is, he it didn't I served it to my table and didn't look at me while serving it :D

Bad aperol, very good gnocchi. Rude guy at the entrance. He went out to smoke, and then went straight to the kitchen to take the order without even washing his hands.

Asked for a table pretty late -around 11pm and was greeted so kindly. Order was taken by a very kind, delightful man who seperated our pizza halves onto 2 seperate plates without us asking. The pizza was so decently sized for the price, and delicious. Good atmosphere. Would go here again!

Terrible customer service, our server was very rude and ignored us most of the time. Waited an hour after eating to get our check after asking several times.

The food is of the usual good quality, unfortunately the service leaves something to be desired. Long waiting times, orders are stalled with “I still have something to do” and you can then watch the waiter cleaning the table and Snapchatting while you continue to wait for the order to be taken. Absolute no-go!

Pizzas are too big for one person, prices are normal. But they brought the giant pizza on a serving plate without cutting it. The edges were hanging off the plate and touching the table. It was the first time we cut a pizza ourselves. Our pizza fell apart because the plate was small. Our little girl wanted potatoes. But we received a veiled scolding from the service employee :) This is an Italian restaurant, asking what fries :) But there is beer, is he Italian :) Oh, and when we first went, we got another scolding from another employee, it said wait here, why did we go in without waiting :) Anyway, we won't go again. well. But their pizzas are good, the atmosphere is nice.

L'osteriya's quality is here too. I bought tuna and margarita. I was very pleased. All your service staff are extremely friendly. They made a gesture to us by offering us our coffees. I recommend it. The only problem is the waiting time is a bit long. Our orders arrived in exactly 1 hour. But this was not a problem for us, we were satisfied

Um restaurante muito agradável, com pessoal simpático atendendo, o que por si só já é um diferencial. Todos os pratos que foram pedidos são gostosos e bem servidos. A massa sempre está no ponto e a pizza é uma delícia e bem grande. Dentre os pratos que gostaram estavam o macarrão pomodoro, ao pesto e carbonara, além do tortelini. O preço é compatível com a qualidade da comida.

I have ordered a pizza Tunfish by Lieferando with extra pepperoni. Instead of pepperoni I have got olive and my pizza was cold because the delivery time was so long.

Ended up here by chance. We stayed at the Park Inn hotel and we had a pizza. We knew that, we had eaten a large pizza, at least 45 cm in diameter, and it was tasty too. The service was friendly as was the price of the pizzas.

Ordered takeaway food. Got tiny portion of carbonara. For the ridiculous price of €14.50. 3 pea-sized pieces of bacon; Given the tiny amount, sauce can only be considered a “light moistening agent” at best. Overall portion was super small. Conclusion: price/performance ratio catastrophic! There are a thousand better places to eat!

Gigantic delicious pizzas! Minus because of waiting times and noodles still served cold. Children's pizzas somehow don't taste as good as the normal ones, the dough is harder and drier.

We were on vacation in Berlin and spent a very nice evening at L'Osteria. The welcome was warm and very friendly. Even though the restaurant was full, everything was fine. The very attentive staff took the order quickly and the food came to the table quickly, hot and very tasty. We would be happy to come back next time we visit Berlin.

They didn't know that Italian cuisine could be so spoiled. We ordered pizza and pasta. The pizza came with anchovies, so we didn't read in the menu that they were there, but the whole pizza was saturated with the taste of fish and it really spoiled it. Bolognese pasta was tasteless. During the calculation, the waitress didn't even ask why we left everything. In general, I did not like it at all.

Ik en mijn vriendin wilde lekker Italiaans eten. We hadden hiervoor de juiste restaurant gevonden. Supere lekkere knoflook broodje met tomaat en een overheerlijke pizza. De pizza’s waren heel erg groot en dat wisten we niet. Gelukkig vertelde de ober hoe het restaurant in elkaar zat en konden we een half om half nemen. Als je in Berlijn Italiaans wil eten ga zeker hier heen!

The ambience was very nice and the restaurant was large with lots of seats (except when it was busy). The service was nice and the food was served very well. He also always asked again if he didn't understand something and also whether we would like something else to drink. The food was delicious and the pizza was big. The pizzas can be divided into halves and, for example, put margarita on one half and salami on the other. The filled noodles were very tasty. Everything was super good.

I strongly recommend.Delicious,clean,kind staff,fast service and fair price.There is always queue.Don’t bother.They are so fast that it takes maximun 10-15 minutes to take a seat.And then your order is ready within 15 minutes.

Such a wonderful place for Italian food. The pizzas are the best! Big and packed with great taste. The cocktails are amazing too.

The pizzas are very sparingly topped compared to other L’Osteria restaurants. I had to get up during the meal to let guests through and the staff constantly bumped into you as you walked past because the seating was so tight... not quite ideal 🙈

It said on google that it closes at 00:00, we went at 22:25 because it closed later than the others that closed at 23:00 and they informed us that the kitchen had already closed 🤷🏼‍♀️

Carbonara was delicious, lasagna was OK, but a bit burnt. The atmosphere is not something special and also not bad. Just a restaurant with Italian food.

The food was quite okay. And the prices are fair too. What I don't understand is that a children's portion of dry penne with parmesan - no sauce or similar costs 10.95... This is then no longer appropriate. Otherwise everything was fine. Unfortunately, we were not offered a children's menu or the option of smaller portions. Here you should train your service staff much better. Especially in terms of sustainability, half of the pasta ended up in the trash because there was too much. A pity.

I was here a few days ago and the service was really terrible. We had to ask several times to order. Then we let the staff know we wanted to pay. This was followed by another 15 minutes of waiting and asking another waiter to pay. After a few more minutes the bill finally arrived. Later the staff was unfriendly. It wasn't very busy. I just can't understand this kind of service.
