A large restaurant with high ceilings. Saturday, 1800. Very well attended. Despite not having a reservation, the three of us still managed to get a spot. I found it relatively loud there. I found the service a bit taciturn, but nice. There was a discount for 3x tapas. I particularly recommend the fish tapas and the sheep cheese. Unfortunately, the churros didn't blow us away. There was Spanish beer, delicious strawberry daiquiri, delicious homemade lemonade. We would go again, but on the weekend with a reservation.

If you want it to be comfortable then Mundo and also delicious. Top shop, always friendly service and great food.

We visited our children and they “kidnapped” us to this wonderful restaurant. The service, the ambience and especially the food were simply great! Everything tasted incredibly delicious. We used to eat here very often and enjoyed eating here. Then suddenly there were only Indian/Pakistani service staff who really had no idea about being a waiter. Extremely unprofessional. The food was better, we'll never go here again.

We had a delicious latte macchiato there. Location great. Cozy clean. Service polite. Toilets okay. Smells something. When you sit inside by the window, your legs are extremely pulled. Unfortunately, the windows to the terrace are very leaky because they are open in the Dommer. This could be improved for the cold season. We'll still come back.

After visiting Checkpoint Charlie, it is definitely worth visiting the “Mundo Tapas Bar” in Berlin. Food is excellent, service is nice and friendly. Eine wirklich gelungene Location. Unser Klassentreffen hätte nicht besser verlaufen können. Das Essen war megalecker, das Personal ultra freundlich und sehr sympathisch. Das Ganze Team inkl. Inhaberin haben eine perfekte Atmosphäre geschaffen. Dafür ein fettes Lob von mir. Werde euch gerne mit der Family demnächst besuchen. Weiter so 😀

Be careful, this restaurant is not for vegans!!! I was very happy that they offer a menu for vegans. I chose No.14 Champions Al Ajillo as well as No.16 Patatas Brawas and No.18 Berenjenas Y Calabicineso. Unfortunately the potatoes came with non-vegan aioli, which I didn't like. The bread for the tapas was also not vegan. Absolutely not recommended for vegans!

Unfortunately the tapas were only mediocre and only aioli and no salsa or anything like that. Since there was no waiter in sight, we couldn't change that. Abee was the best waiter en the food was amazing. The prawns and paella were one of the best we ever had and we had them all over the world. This is a must have if you like tapas and are in Berlin.

The brunch buffet is extensive on Sundays. Good warm food, we were served by an extremely friendly waitress. You can also sit outside. The Sunday buffet is usually fully booked, so it makes sense to call ahead. The Mundo is very easy to reach by public transport and is located directly at the Alt Mariendorf subway station. Price-performance ratio for the area is rather high, p. Person 20.50 without drinks. We'd love to come back.

It's a shame what happened here. Mundo used to be famous for food and cocktails but not anymore. No freshly made cocktails, everything prepared from the bottle. Wine selection wasn't good either and beer wasn't strong enough

There is a very good breakfast buffet here. Service was also very friendly. Unfortunately, the location is on a very busy street and is therefore very uncomfortable outside. Unfortunately, it's a bit noisy inside due to the many guests. If you want to have a quiet breakfast, it's not really suitable there. If you don't mind this, the rest is great! :)

The food was delicious. The restaurant is absolutely recommended. We were there on Monday afternoon. The tapas were very tasty and the salad with goat cheese was also an absolute delight. The restaurant is located at a busy intersection. Is nicely decorated inside. It's relatively noisy outside but generally nice that you can sit outside and inside. Card payment possible and generally relatively cheap. Top!

Somehow the Mundo has dropped quite a bit in terms of the quality and preparation of the food. Some of the food we ordered was cold and didn't taste particularly fresh.

Today we went to the brunch buffet with 14 people (pre-booked about 3 weeks ago) for our birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told there had been no buffet for three weeks on Saturday. No information about this was announced to us. That's a disgrace, especially since there are small blackboards on the tables. With the imprint Sa Sun and public holiday large buffet. We stayed and only had breakfast but it was very disappointing. It wasn't a nice day for me. NEVER AGAIN.

We've been there for brunch several times, the quality of the food and the selection is good. Unfortunately, the brunch is always structured a little differently and you have to be surprised. The service is nice but it sometimes takes a while until you are served or your plate is cleared away. There is no direct parking lot, but there are some parking options in the streets around it. Ps. Little tip: It's better to call instead of reserving online, because you won't receive direct confirmation of your online reservation. 😉

Yesterday we spontaneously decided on Mundo on the way home and can only report positive things: the food didn't take long to arrive, it was served hot and was very tasty. We had a selection of freshly prepared tapas, perfectly cooked fries, a delicious tomato soup and were thrilled with everything - including the ambience and service! 😃

We had dinner there last night with 5 people. The first order went quite quickly and the food arrived quickly and tasted good. But then our plates were left standing for an hour, only when we pointed this out to a waiter were they hesitantly cleared away. There was only one request in just under 2 hours, you had to look for a waiter to order something for each drink. All in all, the food was good but the service was rather poor

We were there for brunch. Very good selection, very tasty baguette bread (I didn't try rolls). A variety of salads, all very tasty. Large selection of sausage and cheese. Some main courses, not all to my liking, but still good quality. And very tasty desserts, especially the mousse au chocolat and the red fruit jelly were delicious. I haven't tried cake. All in all, a very tasty brunch at a good price (€20.90). Full, so the friendly service wasn't always there.

Spanish Kitchen. Tapas and other typical local dishes. I had rabbit in red wine sauce. Was delicious. When the weather is nice you can sit outside. Unfortunately, it is very loud at the busy intersection with the subway station and many bus stops. It's definitely more comfortable inside.

Ah, c'est vraiment toujours un plaisir de retourner à Mundo. Tout y est bon, les burgers, mais surtout les tapas. Le vin est bon, les serveurs sont toujours super sympas. Vraiment super.

Viel schlimmer jedoch: Meine Reservierung wurde vergessen, trotz nochmaligem Anruf heute und ich kam extra ein Tag zuvor vorbei. Sehr, sehr schlecht. Es war mein Hochzeitstag.Uns wurde ein Tisch in der Naehe der Toilette angeboten, den niemand anderes wollte. Ja, die Kellnerin bemühte sich. Sie bot uns aber Dinge an, die i.d. Regel sowieso auf Kosten des Hauses gewesen waeren.Rundum nicht gut und null Verständnis für Service. Wir kommen sicher nicht wieder und können das Mundo wirklich nicht empfehlen

A great evening with lots of delicious tapas. The rooms are furnished in a chic southern Spanish style. The food (tapas) is rather expensive. The bottle of Rioja costs 19.90 euros and was quite good. We had the offer of 3 tapas with aioli for 14.90 euros 2x for 2 people plus a tortilla plate and guacamole, very small but very tasty. Our highlight was the salmon in sesame and pineapple pieces. The Queso Manchego is OK when fried, but very powerful, rather tastier raw! The rosemary potatoes are good for dipping, but you shouldn't think about the price-performance ratio of this tapas bowl. The fried eggplant/zucchini were great. The anchovies too! We'll definitely come back if we want to do something special. It's rather expensive!

Love to the happy hour! Atmosphere was good, singers came to sing live later in the evening which was very nice. The service was friendly and came by often enough.

The food was great as always, unfortunately I don't really like the atmosphere in the train station halls (always a bit loud). It's simply due to the high rooms. We visited the restaurant because of the positive reviews. We reserved a table in advance and were able to take a free table outside. The service is a bit slow and mouthy. There could be a better focus on the guests. The food was good but not exceptional either. The cocktails were good.

Unfortunately today's visit was very disappointing. Instead of a delicious sangria, Lambrusco came. Not an orange, as a sangria should be, but some fruit that was already in the glass and not in the "sangria". They couldn't go through with it like that either. We ordered tapas: three different types. The shrimp were crispy and delicious. The mushrooms tasted rancid. Since we thought it was the mushrooms, we skipped them and ordered fried potatoes instead. These were just as inedible. Apparently it was due to bad and old grease. Conclusion: we won't eat there again. A pity....

On April 2nd, 2024 we (3 people) were at Mundo in the afternoon. Both the tapas and the exclusive tapas we ordered looked and tasted great! After we enjoyed the tapas as a starter, we had fajitas con carne and fajitas mixtas, also beautifully presented and very well balanced in terms of taste. Everything was rounded off by the waitress named Shivant, who served the food and drinks in a friendly, attentive and friendly manner towards us guests. Thank you very much!!

Am 2.4.24 waren wir hier zu dritt essen. Schnell erhielten wir die Speisekarte und konnten der freundlichen Bedienung unsere Getränkewünsche mitteilen. Wir gaben eine umfangreiche Bestellung von Tapas sowie Fajitas auf. Wir wurden freundlich befragt ob es bei der Bestellung verbleibt, da es sich teilweise um große Portionen handelt. wir bejahten dies ,da wir uns die Gerichte teilen wollten. Das Essen kam zügig und wir waren doch vom Umfang der Speisen überrascht. Es hat uns alles hervorragend geschmeckt. besonders angetan waren wir vom Lachs mit Sesam ,der Aioli und den Gambas al Ajillo. Wir danken der freundlichen und aufmerksamen Shivant für den angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Guests who arrived a little later were able to order their first drink very late. Drinks always had to be ordered first, service means asking if something is empty. Empty plates were only cleared away when asked. Employees who are supposed to take care of service should not play with their smartphone while the guest is also watching it and the service suffers. On service staff (male, young) from April 2nd. should be improved. The good service, good tip, bad service, bad tip.

I celebrated my birthday there. I thought you can't go wrong with brunch. We were there for almost 5 hours. We were asked about drinks a maximum of 5 times. Nothing seemed to have been cleared away and the plates were piling up at the table. It's a shame because the food is absolutely great and there's something for everyone.

Unfortunately the place has totally gone downhill. I used to enjoy being here. But the quality of the buffet and the price just don't match. The lettuce was no longer fresh and was crunchy (like sand or soil in the lettuce and not washed properly). The warm food seemed like it had been reheated from 3 days ago. The only thing that really tasted good were the donuts and the bread. But everything else was really not a hit and is not worth visiting. I've tried almost everything. (e.g. dry chicken, mushy rice, vegetables cooked to death and not fresh...). In addition, the drinks are all extra and not cheap either. At other restaurants there is at least water or juice with the buffet. The women's toilet also smelled very bad and was cold. Very unfortunate. The waitress was very nice and worked quickly.
