The service at breakfast was abysmal: Waiting 1.5 hours for eggs. No apology, no thank you for the tip. Simply rude. This is a real shame, because I had good experiences with the team in the evenings.

We waited well over an hour for our food…

The team here is clearly competent and well-coordinated. Drinks were refilled without request, plates were cleared quickly, and the entire service was smooth and effortless.

Unfortunately, we had to leave after 45 minutes without a single server coming. When we confronted a colleague about it, she reacted very rudely. We understand that there's a staff shortage, but we can communicate this beforehand and avoid having to seat the only customers in the last corner when all the tables are empty.

A very solid pick for good Bavarian cuisine. Unfortunately, the service is a mixed bag: Sunday evening is a Tatort event. Because we weren't registered, a waitress rudely and almost aggressively ushered us out of the restaurant. Absolutely abysmal, never experienced anything like it.

Just wanted to say this place is awesome. The service was amazing and thank you for making my friends birthday so special, it was magical to see the look on her face when the whole restaurant came together to sing her happy birthday. The food was delicious and it's one of the places I need to keep coming back.

The ham was more boiled than fried. - I thought €4.90 for a simple tea was a bit expensive. It took over 30 minutes between ordering and receiving the food, which I think is a bit long for brunch, but it's just about okay. The tables weren't full.

I loved everything about this place and hated the mid aged guy showing me my table inside with a diva attitude. Like I get it’s a type of german persona, but it can make some people nervous. When someone asks you something politely, answer politely. No need for sass gurl.

We spontaneously went there with our kids. The staff were super friendly, even to the kids. The food came quickly and was really delicious. We recommend the fries. We've rarely had such good fries. We highly recommend a visit.

Dining in the heart of the 1972 Olympics. The decor is reminiscent of a 1970s elementary school equipment room—and Mark Spitz. The service was courteous and friendly. They were a bit understaffed that day, but they let us know right away. The food was very good, and there was a good selection, especially for vegetarians and vegans 🌱

I had an absolutely fantastic sandwich with really delicious fries here at "München72"! It was recommended to me by colleagues and fit perfectly into my plans before a visit to the Arenakino (a 5-minute walk). There's a nice outdoor seating area and a nice indoor seating area, and the decor and background music are modern and pleasant. The service is also very friendly, and I would definitely come back.

Service always friendly. They Don't have an allergen menu but are willing to tell you what you can or not eat depending on your intolerances/allergies. Although not many, there are some gluten free options like burger without the bun for lunch or the Boxer breakfast which is like a Röstl (potato slices, egg and bacon cubes) The space is big, most probably you can get a table without reservation, but recommend yo reserve on weekend at peak times. They have some hausgemacht emotes and Spitz that are specialized and yummy.

Wow wow wow. The waiter has been a gem. There were so many tables and people, but he always looked after us and his kindness was exceptional, but never felt unreal. The food was also very good, my family ate the Schnitzel and Burger and I had the Taboulé-Couscous. My brother and I shared a Germknödel after the main dish, which he said was delicious. I ate it the first time, for me it was okay. It was simply not my taste. We also really liked the layed-back style of the restaurant.

Yes, I love this place, this café/restaurant/bar. The food is astonishingly plentiful and extremely delicious, and since, as we all know, you eat with your eyes, you'll definitely get your money's worth. Whenever I'm in Munich, they serve brunch there. Unfortunately, I've never been there in the evening, but I'm almost convinced that the location will be just as amazing. Therefore, reservations are almost a must, otherwise you might find the trip was in vain... Actually, I like the whole Glockenbachviertel district... it's quiet, friendly, yet close to the pulse, cool, hip, open, queer, etc.

A particularly beautiful restaurant with fantastic food! The ambiance is truly wonderful and exceptional. We had a good selection, from cocktails to main course and dessert (mmm, the apple strudel with vanilla sauce... divine!), and we absolutely loved EVERYTHING. Plus, all the dishes were lovingly presented. The price/performance ratio is really good, and our server was very friendly. Coolest restaurant/bar in all of Munich!!

Very quaint location in the style of the 70s, super friendly staff, funny decor and unusual menu, very tasty dishes, good selection and something for every taste, short waiting time, you can sit comfortably outside or inside, only the plastic chairs take a bit of getting used to, but they definitely add to the original Olympic flair, a real insider tip, thumbs up, I will definitely be back, thank you very much!

It's definitely something different, but there's something for every taste, and everything tastes good. Specialty coffees are lovingly prepared by Marco and Illia, and there are plenty of aperitifs for the girls, too. For the boys, there's beer in ice-cold mugs! Service is top-notch, friendly, and fast. I'd be happy to come back anytime!

I live in the area and enjoy going to München72. I can only recommend it to anyone who is ever in Munich. Unfortunately, my only complaint is the ham noodles, which are unfortunately extremely dry and very oily.

Were there to eat fondue. Unfortunately they no longer had the wines for the fondue menu. Service was great. The table is a bit too small. The fondue came with plenty of side dishes and was definitely good value for money.

I actually wanted to give the store 5 stars. Great food, really nice service, nice atmosphere. However, this impression was suddenly clouded after paying. It was the first spring evening with acceptable temperatures and I had packed a cigar as a precaution. I also wanted to end the evening nicely - on the terrace, of course. I specifically asked for a tonic with the cigar, which was delivered quickly. I sat outside for over an hour, no one was bothered (the two ladies at the next table even ordered dessert). When I went to the toilet after paying and finishing the cigar, the (presumably) owner came up to me and said I should please stop smoking next time, as many guests went in because of that. I would just assume that they went in because the temperatures were dropping - now 11 degrees. If cigar smokers are not welcome - no problem. I'm used to it. Then just say BEFORE. Giving paying guests another one doesn't show good taste. Don't worry about next time, I won't come back.

I’ve been here before and had good experiences, but this time was deeply disappointing—I’m not sure I’ll be coming back. The receptionist was rude and made us feel as though we were being discriminated against because of our race. We had a reservation for 11:30 and were seated, but shortly after, the receptionist told us we couldn’t sit there because the table would be combined with the one next to it for a group of four. We moved without complaint. However, we later saw that the table was given to another couple, not a group, which made it feel like the excuse was just a way to deny us the table. To make matters worse, we had to wait nearly an hour for our food. I do want to acknowledge that the waitstaff were kind and helped us once we raised the issue. But the way we were treated by the receptionist left a terrible impression.

The place has a nice theme. I got the schnitzel and my friend got the club sandwich. I wouldn’t recommend the schnitzel, better go eat somewhere else. But the club sandwich looked amazing and the fries were extremely good. We had to ask extra for the mayonnaise, even though a bottle of ketchup was put on our table. They brought the mayo in tiny cups and were weirded out by my request. But friendly crew, open on Sundays. Good place to go when other places are packed.
