MS - Libelle in Zinnowitz

If you're on vacation on the Baltic Sea, then you'll definitely want fish for dinner. If that's the case, the MS Libelle is the right place for you, and you'll be completely satisfied. My personal recommendation is the fish platter (3 different fish fillets); it couldn't be better. The MS Libelle in Zinnowitz is an absolute must for gourmets. Excellent value for money and service.

We spontaneously went to the Libelle today and were lucky to find a spot straight away. We had a hard time deciding. Great selection of fish and meat dishes. But the mustard-crusted redfish and pollack in the egg shell were delicious. Our desserts were the highlight. Chocolate cakes with hot cherries and warm apple strudel. Very delicious!

Full marks for a very tasty cod fillet, friendly and fast service and a cozy atmosphere.

A quaint little ship-style restaurant. Successful atmosphere. We had the golden brown zander fillet. Crispy skin and glassy fish. It couldn't be better. The service is fast, friendly and attentive. Reservation recommended as only a limited number of spaces are available.

Very fresh and tasty - the matjes is awesome! If possible, you should make a reservation 3-4 days in advance, we didn't do that, but we were allowed to spontaneously wait for a free space (the sandpit in the garden also makes the waiting time easier for the little ones) :)

Whenever we are on the island of Usedom, we eat here at least once. As always recommended.

We had dinner in the “MS-Libelle” from October 2024 to October 20, 2024 A visit to the "MS-Libelle" is always a must on my vacation. I used to always go there with my son...for 4 years. Each time we ate dinner at LIBELLE every night. Always very tasty 😋. Unfortunately, my son died of cancer in January 2024. He really loved the food, service and ambience. So this year in October I came to Zinnowitz with my husband and we had dinner in the "MS-Libelle". My husband was thrilled with the delicious food, great ambience and great service. Rarely have I enjoyed such good home cooking and such amazing cod!!! And the perfect service with that certain extra charm. 100% recommended!!!

I lived in Zinnowitz for a long time and know this restaurant very well. It is one of my favorite fish restaurants. However, you should book in advance during the high season. Especially on the weekend. The dragonfly is extremely popular, and rightly so.

Of course, going out to eat alone is part of a mommy-free vacation. I did this today with my old golden lady. Got a nice spot in the evening sun and enjoyed it. I ordered the fried cod and a large Alster water. Was very tasty. Finally, I treated myself to dessert. An old Swede and a latte. In the end, Papp went home full and happy. Eating there with a dog is no problem. Service is very friendly. I'd love to come back.

I have to say it was our first time eating here and the small but beautiful MS LIBELLE really appealed to us. Sat outside under cover, no need to book in advance. The food was great, almost everything was handmade. Hats off. Fish on the outside, roasted aromas on the inside, glassy to the point. Service was very friendly. We came here spontaneously and got a table after waiting around 15 minutes. The wait was worth it. The redfish in a mustard crust and the triple fillet with salmon, cod and zander were really tasty. It's worth the wait here. We'll definitely come back and test the rest of the menu.

A very nice restaurant. Recommendation, when the weather is good, definitely sit on the lake side and enjoy the view. Simply great food. Service very attentive and people...don't be so stingy on vacation. In Berlin you also tip 10%. You can do that here too. It's really disappointing to hear how people go on holiday here, brag about their purchases and then only tip 5%. The rule of 10% already applied in GDR times and was adhered to. We should appreciate good service and food.

When the owner of the restaurant is in a bad mood, she is rude to the guests. In a very loud and pushy way she complains about you not finishing your food even though the quality of the food is pretty mediocre. A very strange understanding of service.

I quickly called and was actually able to reserve a table. I had a very good impression on the phone and that was confirmed when I arrived at the restaurant. The food is second to none. The ingredients are all fresh and very tasty. The changing daily specials are recommended. It is definitely advisable to book a table as the restaurant does not have many seats. We come here every summer.

Price performance is right here. Would love to come back. Unfortunately you have to make reservations well in advance for inside. When the weather is nice you can sit outside without making a reservation, but you'll need some luck.

We were lucky enough to eat there twice during our vacation. The restaurant is very busy. All dishes were delicious. Fresh ingredients well balanced. Prices are good and acceptable. The service was nice and friendly.

We followed the very good reviews and were very disappointed. We had reserved and the welcome was warm. We were placed and then nothing happened for a long time. All guests who came after us were served promptly. We then made ourselves known and were able to place our order. Pikeperch fried was okay Mustard-crusted redfish was burnt and dry-fried. Aufgrund der vorhandenen Bewertungen haben wir den Weg ohne Anmeldung hierher gewagt. Mit Erfolg. Wir wurden höflich bedient, alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Das Essen ging zügig und wurde ansprechend angereichert, ohne unnötigen Tand, Schmuck und Touri-Show. Und es war super lecker, von den Getränken bis zu den Beilagen: handgemachtes, authentisches Fischessen. Vielleicht kommen wir ja nochmal nach Zinnowitz.

The fish was very well prepared. The potatoes were overcooked and tasteless. Card payment is only possible with EC, it is not possible to actively place this notice for the guests. I had to run to the bank after dinner to get cash. In the meantime, my companion, who was waiting, could have been offered at least a drink, kindness but not ignoring. Simply to make the situation a little relaxed and appreciative of the guest. It wasn't intentional that we didn't have any cash with us. That didn't happen. We wouldn't come back.
