Great food at fair prices and a very nice team...we keep coming back.

We usually eat at "Bei Georgios" restaurant at Prahljust campsite. But since they're closed for holidays, we went to Yamas. Calling it a snack bar is an understatement, calling it a restaurant is an exaggeration; it's more like a good mix in between. The food was delicious as always, with large portions, and the prices were really reasonable. The service was very friendly, though they could be a bit more attentive, for example, by lighting the candle on the table, etc.

Because the pizzeria across the street was full (there were five of us), we went to this fast food joint. I had the baked souvlaki. The Metaxa sauce, fries, side salad, and cheese were all basically fine. But the meat they served here was as far from fillet as Rome is from New York. It was pressed-together chunks of meat, half of it bacon. The taste was very unpleasant; I'm afraid the meat wasn't quite fresh. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish it all; it wasn't my thing at all. My friends, however, were happy with their gyros. My advice: Better order a burger, gyro, or bifteki. The Starnberger on tap, however, is very tasty. Regarding the service: We had embarrassingly reserved a table for ourselves at lunch, and this was noted. When we arrived in the evening, all the tables were taken, our reservation didn't go through, and we had to wait ten minutes. We simply took the cards, and twenty minutes later we were able to place our order. The food arrived after 45 minutes. Okay, you have to admit that the place was really busy, and lots of customers were constantly picking up their orders. One order was wrong, and then we had to wait another five minutes for something to come. It was very impressive that we were given cake forks; it was almost amusing. Paying was okay, and the prices are fair. The atmosphere is fine; I'd call it functional. At some point, the TV turned on with Greek pop music playing quite loudly. Fumes from the rotisserie and frying area wafted throughout the room, along with the two deep fryers. But you get used to it after a few minutes. Maybe I'll try a burger again on my next visit, but I can't recommend the souvlaki.

Locals will know what I mean when I say: We've missed this for so long and are happy to finally be able to enjoy it! Based on previous reviews, we were skeptical, but wanted to see for ourselves whether the service and quality were really that poor. And I have to say, we were completely pleasantly surprised. After years of "deprivation," we tried the pita with pork gyros. We ordered by phone for pickup. The order-taking was very friendly and accommodating. As an alternative to the tzatziki, we were offered Metaxa sauce, which, of course, we immediately agreed to—that's how we're used to it. The food was ready right on time at the agreed time. The price is unbeatable! As for the pita itself: An absolutely decent portion with plenty of meat, fresh onions, tomatoes, Metaxa sauce, and fries. We took the latter out to eat separately. We finally wanted to test whether this pita could compete with the one that was once a local insider tip. And what can I say? Yes, it absolutely can! Very tasty and filling. The meat was neither tough nor dry, as others have described. Dear Yamas team: This won't be our last pita with you! We're already looking forward to the next time!

We ate here for the first time today and were thrilled with the gyro and souvlaki. The food was delicious and arrived at our table within just a few minutes. We'd love to go back!

I'm just reading your reply. Well, it's true. I was there yesterday, and after 10 minutes, I'd already lost my appetite. As a waiter, you ask if I can have something to eat. If it were full, I would have even understood if it took an hour for him to come to my table. Clearing was more important to him, but I let him do it (he was alone in the place and didn't do anything else. You have some truly lazy employees there). The only thing that shines is the ambiance. The waiter prefers to make himself something to eat instead of asking his guests if they're hungry or want the menu. Two tables that were already finished were served, but I was ignored. I sat there for a full 50 minutes without the young host coming to my table and speaking to me. I brought something for my family from somewhere else. I'm reading more comments here, and I'm not surprised at all. Worst waiter I've ever seen.

Wonderful food, great service, simply top recommendation

We had ordered food for pickup by phone for a specific time. When we went to pick it up, the employee on site didn't know about the order – apparently, it hadn't been passed on by the colleague on the phone. As a result, we had to wait another 20 minutes at the restaurant because nothing was prepared. About the food itself: The baked gyro and the fries with cheese and bacon were unfortunately not at all convincing in terms of taste. The cheese seemed like simple sliced ​​cheese, which was neither suitable for baking in terms of taste nor texture. The fries were completely missing bacon – there was only the aforementioned cheese. Furthermore, the fries were very greasy and looked like they were soaked in old fryer oil. On the positive side, the prices are fair – but unfortunately, the overall package isn't up to scratch. We weren't impressed by the food either visually or in terms of taste. A shame.

The pork skewer is delicious 😋, but payment by credit card isn't possible! A young lady takes the money without giving the bill, cash is in the till, and that's it... Kind of weird 🙄

Unfortunately, there isn't a single main course for vegetarians, and only starters or salads, which is a real shame. If there's a vegetarian main course soon, I'll delete my review.

First of all, I'm surprised that there are past reviews, as the restaurant only opened a few weeks ago. We wanted to order takeout twice, but the first time, they didn't offer a delivery service. "Not for at least two weeks," even though it had already been advertised on Facebook. Then we ordered again after the delivery service officially started. We were told our food would arrive in about 45 minutes. After about an hour and a half, we called to inquire about the delivery status. We were then told it would take another 20 minutes. After another 45 minutes, we called again to inquire about the delivery status, and were then told another 20 minutes. Then they argued with us. We hadn't ordered food until 7:55 p.m., which isn't true. We were told to wait another 30 minutes. We declined to say we would receive our food by then, and canceled the order. After some discussion, the restaurant owners agreed, and the conversation ended. Well, five minutes later, my phone rang again, and we were offered a €40 voucher as compensation. We considered this a very nice gesture and accepted it. This voucher was supposed to be sent to us by mail, but it hasn't arrived yet. So, unfortunately, we can't judge the food, but the service is truly abysmal. I'm also pretty sure we're not the only one. It's certainly a bit difficult to have such a bad start in such a small town. We will avoid this restaurant in the future, because the way they treat customers is simply not right.

Well, that was probably nothing. I ordered four dishes, and they said the delivery time would be 40 minutes. After over an hour and a half, the lukewarm food arrived, which was unfortunately a complete waste of money. Small portions, tough and greasy meat, fries were fried potato slices, almost raw, with no sauce. For one dish, the side dishes were completely forgotten. Finally, they miscalculated, and if we hadn't been careful, we would have overpaid €10. It's a shame, but we won't be going back. PS: I immediately received a call back, saying this review was a lie. It turned out to be nice, the service was very friendly, the food was delicious and the price-performance ratio was right.

We were actually just here for a drink, but then I saw the chef come out for a quick break and eat a small pork shish kebab. It looked so delicious that, even though we were already quite full, I was determined to try one. So I ordered a single shish kebab—without any side dishes. What can I say? It was the best pork I've ever eaten! Tender, juicy, perfectly seasoned—simply a dream. While I can't comment on the other dishes, one thing is certain: the chef definitely knows his stuff when it comes to perfectly prepared meat.

These are not fillets and certainly not worth €9.50! It's a shame when the burgers were otherwise quite good :( There hasn't been anything special here for a long time, so that was my last order

The staff here is very friendly, I was served quickly, and the price was reasonable for the amount of delicious food. The atmosphere felt strange, probably because the place was empty. But who knows.

There were only three drinks. The fries were almost raw. The burgers were subpar. Better to go a few places further.

Found it spontaneously and absolutely loved it! Burgers were perfectly juicy and yet EVERYTHING remained on the burger when I ate it by hand (food was to be taken away). The burgers were so good that we (live an hour away) are thinking about coming back more often. We also had a veggie burger, wow. Personally, even better than the animal brother. There was only one point: the packaging could have been a little more environmentally friendly, that's really the only thing.

The burgers are a delight. We stopped in here yesterday shortly after 5 p.m. and were greeted and served by a friendly gentleman. 2 dishes were not available. This was communicated to us directly when the menu was handed over. The order went quickly and we didn't have to wait that long for the food. The burgers are simply divine. Juicy, fresh, delicious. The fries were also just right. The ambience is kept simple. But it fits well with the whole concept of the restaurant. We'd love to come back.

The chicken burgers were borderline cooked and the cheese wasn't even melted. The fries and potatoes were not cooked through. The Hawaiian is said to have tasted good. The service was nice. The men's toilet smelled strongly of urine and the toilets were not cleaned. The atmosphere is loveless and wasn't clean. Seems cold

Einer der besten Burger, die ich je gegessen habe, war in meinem Leben. Der saftige, gegrillte Burger war mit frischen Zutaten belegt, was den Geschmack noch mehr verbesserte. Die Außensitzfläche und das kalte Bier waren perfekt. Der Service war sehr schnell und freundlich. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam und sorgten dafür, dass alle meine Wünsche erfüllt wurden. Darüber hinaus kann ich sagen, dass es bei Lieferung der schnellste in Clausthal ist, was es zu einer großartigen Option für Menschen macht, die eine schnelle und leckere Mahlzeit suchen.

Wir kamen in dem resturante an mit einer positiven Voreinstellung da es eine gute Bewertung hatte. Bei der Bestellung mussten wir dann schon feststellen das es trotz der überschaubaren Anzahl der Burger es nicht einmal Ananas gab für den Hawaii Burger. Die Bestellung war etwas langwierig wofür wir allerdings Verständnis zeigten da die Mitarbeiterinn erst zur probe arbeitete. Als wir dann allerdings nach unserer Bestellung alleine 20min auf unsere Getränke warten mussten kippte die Stimmung bereits schon. Als die Burger dann ankamen waren wir vorerst positiv überrascht da sie schön hergemacht wurden allerdings wurde der Burger schon falsch serviert die Kellnerin griff mit dem arm über den ganzen Tisch und über die anderen Gerichte um uns unser essen zu reichen. Der Burger an sich war auch zufriedenstellend abgesehen von dem Eisbergsalat welcher zum Großteil aus Strunk bestand und die Pommes die ich dazu bestellt hatte waren weder noch richtig durch noch waren sie gut gewürzt. Zwei meiner Mitmenschen hatten sich einen vegetarischen Burger bestellt und bemängelten schon während dem verzehr das das patty weder richtig durch war noch einen akzeptablen Geschmack hatte das einzige wodurch dies erträglich gemacht wurde war die soße, welche sehr lecker war zudem waren die süßkartoffelpommes noch äußerst lecker. Wir würden dieses lokal keineswegs nochmal aufsuchen

Habe vor Ort gegessen. Super nette Bedienung. Kleine Auswahl mit solider Qualität. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert um nach einer Harzwanderung den Hunger zu stillen.

Insgesamt war unser Besuch mittelmäßig, freundliche Bedienung, leider dauerte es seine Zeit vor allem bis zur Bezahlung. Die Pommes kamen erst, nachdem der halbe Burger schon verzehrt war. Die Burgerbrötchen waren so hart, dass ich meinen gar nicht schneiden konnte. Fleisch war gut, haben allerdings auf Grund der Bewertungen und Preise hier mehr erwartet

Ich habe mir dort ein Bubble Tea gekauft und der hat mir gar nicht gefallen. Ich habe schon viele Bubble Teas getrunken aber das war überhaupt nicht mein Fall und der schlechteste. Ich finde die Sorten auch sehr speziell aber ich wollte es mal ausprobieren. Wie gesagt mein Fall war es nicht. Die Bedienung war aber sehr freundlich und das Ambiente angenehm.

Hervorragend, große Burger,welche gut geschmeckt haben. Trotz des Stadtfestes, welches das Restaurant stark füllte, war die Wartezeit auf das eigene Essen recht gering.

Ich habe ein Chickenbuguette bestellt, das Chicken war leider tot gebraten und dadurch sehr sehr trocken, die Süßkartoffelpommes waren nicht gewürzt. Mein Partner hatte einen Burger, dort war das Pattie leider auch sehr trocken. Nette Bedienung.

Glückauf zusammen, ich habe bereits mehrfach bei Mr. Special gegessen, ob nun im Restaurant oder als Lieferung. Das Personal ist stets freundlich und bemüht sich. Nun zu den Gerichten: Die Pommes Frites sind großartig, vor allem die Chillie Cheese Version. Ob einfach oder double Burger vom Rind oder Hühnchen, beides schmeckt zuverlässig gut, auch wenn es manchmal etwas zu trocken zubereitet wird. Zu den felischlosen Burgern kann ich leider noch keine Aussagen treffen. Ich denke in Sachen wie Soßen und Belag könnten die Köche noch mehr aus dem Burger rausholen, aber der Geschmack stimmt. Leider ist der Bubble Tea nichts besonderes. Das Preis-Leis­tungs-Ver­hält­nis ist meines Erachtens in Ordnung mit etwa 10 - 11€ für einen Double Burger. Der Triple Burger ist geschmacklich und preislich mit 21€ etwas obsolet. Ansonsten kann ich nur sagen, dass der hohe AStA der TU Clausthal weiterhin bei euch speisen wird. Weiter so!

Ja was will man da bewerten wenn man schon nicht freundlich Empfangen wird. Wir sind auf der Stelle umgedreht und weiter gegangen. So gewinnt man jedenfalls keine neuen Kunden. Deshalb nur 1 Stern.

Habe ein Thunfisch Baguette bestellt und war wirklich sehr enttäuscht. Es kam ein halbes Baguette mit nicht mal 25cm an. Die Unterseite war steinhart und trocken, die Oberseite hart. Thunfisch musste ich fast suchen. Grenzt an Unverschämtheit

Das Personal baut selbst bei den simpelsten Bestellungen regelmäßig Fehler ein und dazu wurden sogar die Preise erhöht. Mochte den Laden früher aber diese Inkompetenz sollte man nicht weiter unterstützen.

Wir haben hier zu zweit Burger gegessen und sind sehr positiv überrascht worden! Von außen wirkt das Restaurant wie ein Imbiss, aber die Qualität der Burger war wirklich gut und auch unsere Umbestellung eines Burgers hat problemlos funktioniert! Außerdem sind die Preise unschlagbar - für wenig Aufpreis gibt es zu den Burgern Pommes und ein Getränk dazu. Auch die Bedienung war sehr nett und obwohl uns direkt Bescheid gesagt worden ist, dass es etwas dauern könnte, haben wir bereits nach 30 Minuten unser Essen bekommen. Wir können "Mr.special" nur weiterempfehlen!

Das kleine Burgerrestaurant war zwar sehr unauffällig, aber das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal war Freundlich und die Portionsgrößen waren angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder 👍🏻.

Ich bin der meinung das es hier mit die besten Burger in ganz südniedersachsen gibt. Komme gerne wieder auch wenn ich fast 60 km fahren muss, es lohnt sich aber 👍

Wir beide haben gestern Abend Burger+ Getränk bestellt und wir kommen aus der Gastronomie und sind beide unglaublich begeistert. Die Burger sind unglaublich lecker und machen auch satt. Meine Partnerin sagte sogar "das ist der beste Burger den ich je gegessen habe" Wir werden definitiv öfter bestellen. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Leider eine Enttäuschung. Aufgrund der vielen positiven Bewertungen wollten wir auch mal probieren. Wir haben uns also mittags etwas zum mitnehmen bestellt. Einen Pilz- und einen Käseburger, dazu jeweils einmal Pommes. Die Pommes waren extrem fettig und so ziemlich roh. Schon an der Farbe war zu erkennen, dass die nicht durch sind. Ein paar probiert und da hatten wir es dann bestätigt. Dementsprechend haben wir die Pommes nicht essen können. Der Pilzburger an sich war in Ordnung. Er war lediglich sehr fettig. Der Käseburger hingegen war leider nicht so. Das Patti war teilweise sehr verbrannt und extrem salzig. Statt einer Käsescheibe wie man es vielleicht kennt, war reichlich Käsecreme drauf. Muss man eben mögen. Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht und werden es bei dem einen Versuch belassen. Schade.

Die Burger sind super frisch zubereitet worden und mega lecker! Die hausgemachte Soße und das selbstgemachte Patty sind der Wahnsinn!!! Geheimtipp für jeden, der gerne Burger isst ;)

Lecker saftige Burger und schnelle lieferung

Sehr lecker, angenehme Atmosphäre, Lieferung sehr schnell, tolle Verpackung und großzügige Portion.

MIttlerweile sehr sehr gut, vor 6 Monaten waren die Pattys einfach zu klein und haben eher einer Frikadelle geähnelt. MIttlerweile sind die Pattys jedoch deutlich verbessert wurden, Geschmack und Größe einfach Perfekt.

Super schnelle Lieferung, Super leckerer Cheesy Cheeseburger Definitiv werde ich öfter dort bestellen Alles richtig gemacht!
