Mr. Vu Restaurant in Bad Wiessee

I was very disappointed with the food. Thai curry tasted like water, barely any flavor. Chicken tasted like real meat. Fried noodles weren't good at all. Sushi was okay. Service was super friendly.

I highly recommend it 😀 it's simply poetry, the food was perfect, it delighted my palate and the most important thing was that it was served quickly, the service was very nice and helpful and the atmosphere was also great, the decor was nice and the music was relaxing, I relaxed and that was probably the point 🤩

The Mr. Vu Restaurant in Bad Wiessee offers decently prepared food. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't particularly clean, which somewhat dampened the overall impression. The service was friendly, but overall, I probably wouldn't go there again.

A very busy Vietnamese restaurant. Good fried specialty sushi, but with a very long wait. My wife had already finished her meal when I finally got my sushi rolls. The staff was very nice and friendly despite the rush.

The restaurant is located very close to our accommodation. Unfortunately, the outdoor tables are located right next to the parking lot, which means many guests arrive by car to pick up their food. This creates a somewhat stressful atmosphere. However, the staff were very friendly, and the food was generally decent; only the main course portions could have been a bit more generous.

Delicious and very nice service

The food was okay, nothing more. The starter took some getting used to, but that's okay. The main course was good: duck. The baked banana was a joke, a tiny portion. Sushi was okay, as was the soup. Service was very friendly, excellent. Unfortunately, the food doesn't offer value for money; they need to work on that.

The food was delicious, the vegetables were fresh, and we waited a maximum of 20 minutes for our food. We had two fried noodle dishes, one with tofu, and one with beef 👍😋 The price for two people, including drinks, is totally reasonable 😊

We ordered soups which weren't really good. The tom kha gai was just water. The sushi afterwards was even worse. Extremely overcooked rice. The raw salmon wasn't really the freshest anymore. My friend ordered rolls with fried salmon which were incredibly dry and not tasty. When we complained, we went back to the kitchen and they said everything was normal and we should just keep eating. For €40, overcooked rice and no fresh ingredients, I don't know. Nice waitress

Ate very tasty hot pot. It was really as good as in Hanoi. We can totally recommend it. But a tip is to order in advance as there is a lot to prepare. But you should try it

We ordered sushi to pick up shortly after opening and were able to pick it up promptly. As a little surprise, we got little things for free. We were able to enjoy the delicious, freshly prepared food and would happily recommend it to others.

How this original rating of 4.1 came about here is simply inexplicable to me. The atmosphere here looks like a canteen. This evening the waitress wore a thick down jacket with a backpack and took the order and served the food. The sanitary facilities were disgusting, disgusting and filthy and the food was an absolute disaster. We only had the Vietnamese spring rolls and beef pattay. The Vietnamese spring rolls were old and inedible and the pattay was just an outrage. The pattay had chicken egg shells in it. Multiple times. and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she actually said it was normal. When the cook opens the egg, chicken shells fall in. I should kindly take them out, so we haven't eaten something as disgusting as this for a long time and it's just a disgrace and the health department should actually go here

The service is very nice and friendly. However, the soup triggered a strong cough due to the excessive amount of glutamate. The rice tasted like it was cooked and left unrefrigerated for two days. In response to our complaint, all sorts of benefits were offered, but freshly cooked rice was not included. Apparently the old rice was served to the guests all evening. The meat tasted fresh, but we imagined coconut curry sauce to be something other than colored water. The house should offer the cook hygiene training or a VHS course on “tasty Asian cuisine”.

It's not that easy for vegans to get something in Bad Wiessee. The dishes are not labeled, but they are easy to recognize based on the allergens. The vegetables with sweet and sour sauce looked a bit sad, but the ones with cashews were really good.

Ordered food to pick up, average Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, the flat rice noodle soup was not the same as I know a pho soup, the taste was quite ok. Starters were great. Food was ready at the time ordered and also warm.

Unfortunately, Mr. Vu prepares his food in extremely small portions...but the price is in the range of a whole menu. The food was not freshly prepared because the rice was far too soft to eat with pleasure.

Food was good, you get a rich menu at hand. The service was very friendly, the food was good, but the atmosphere is rather cool and not really cozy. It's a shame, otherwise I would have given it 4 stars.

We were very happy with our meal - both sushi and hot dishes were delicious! Even get a hot and delicious meal just before closing time. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. The small villages in the tables were particularly eye-catching.

Tasty food and very friendly service. The standard part of the menu (i.e. the colloquial Asian food) is clear and not overloaded, which is very good for the quality. Unfortunately, I only had time to eat there once and couldn't try the second part of the menu (sushi in various combinations). But it looked very tasty to the guests at the neighboring table. If my main course hadn't already been enough, I would have almost ordered sushi for dessert...

The restaurant is getting old and the toilet facilities are in need of renovation. The price-performance ratio, based on the more expensive weekend menu - cheaper menu dishes are only valid on weekdays - is not appropriate. My choice of food: Jasmine fragrant rice, with fried chicken and Thai curry vegetables, No. 53 H for €12.90 according to the menu. In summary: The food was lukewarm, the chicken was not fried and only 6 meager pieces, sticky simple rice, but plenty of stuffing vegetables. The gardener won here. When the restaurateur asked whether this was fried meat, she nodded in the affirmative. The pictures confirm that they don't serve fried breast fillets at the expense of pre-cooked pieces of chicken, but they do charge the price for that. For €7.90 takeaway price or lunch plate ok, but not for what you paid for.

Delicious sushi at reasonable prices. Nice service. Be careful not to park over at the Dönermann. After visiting Mr. Vu, we had a note on the car saying parking was forbidden because of private property. Totally ok, at least no towing service was called.

I can understand that the lunch MENU is not available to take away. But I don't think it's a good thing that you can't take the so-called "lunch plate" with you. That is really a shame.

Friendly service, food was very good

An average Asian restaurant. The atmosphere and the place were cool. The boss then set up an additional heater, which didn't warm either. The tables with the Chinese landscapes are great. My starter was dry and the beef in the main course was tough. The taste is just average. Price ok.

Warum ich dieses Restaurant negativ bewerte, ist der Umstand, dass mindestens einmal die Woche das Geschäft mittags (meistens) oder abends einfach geschlossen bleibt obwohl es laut Öffnungszeiten offen hätte, im besten Fall hängt ein Zettel vor der Tür das heute das Restaurant kurzfristig geschlossen hat; so etwas gibt es wirklich nur hier in dieser Form am Tegernsee in diesem Restaurant

Großartige knusprige Ente aber Hühnchen kann ich nicht empfehlen, da es viel zu wenig ist!

Eiernudeln mit Gemüse und Rindfleisch waren ok, Portion etwas zu klein für den starken Preis. Service und Atmosphäre ansonsten ganz gut!

Standard Aussehen, Essen war lecker Bedienung sehr nett

Wir hatten zu viert gegessen und jeder hatte verschiedene Essen bestellt. Das vietnamesische Essen war sehr gut und ein Besuch dieses Restaurants kann man empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach gehalten.

Einen Papaya Salat bestellt und eine Kombination aus Sojasprossen, Möhren, Blattsalat bekommen, wo sich vielleicht Papaya drin versteckt hat. Auf die Frage an die Chef in, wieso da kein oder kaum Papaya drin ist, wurde mitgeteilt die wäre zu teuer. Dann bitte von der Karte nehmen, aber so grenzt das an Betrug am Kunden. 10,90 sind nicht wenig und damit sollte man einen vernünftigen Salat machen können. Die Hauptspeise, Mr Vu's Topf konnte da leider auch keine großen Glücksmomente entfachen, lag aber vielleicht an der Vorspeise. Für Asiatisch am Tegernsee mag es reichen, für jemand der gerne das Originale ist und in Asien unterwegs ist, war es fast gruselig.

Mir hat es nicht geschmeckt und das Ambiente ist nicht wirklich einladend. Die Geschmäcker sind natürlich unterschiedlich, aber meinen hat dieses Restaurant nicht getroffen. Die Frühlingsrollen waren gewöhnungsbedürftig, die knusprige Ente war alles andere als knusprig, der Geschmack vom gesamten Gericht ehr langweilig und schon fast eine Frechheit fand ich die Miniportion der gebackenen Banane. Die Preise sind moderat und man bekommt hier auch noch spät Abends warmes Essen, sofern es einem schmeckt.

War echt Lecker gerne wieder Der Service ist wirklich nett hab auch mitbekommen wie am Nebentisch sich wirklich gut um eine Beschwerde einer Kundschaft bemüht wurde was die Temperatur vom Bier betrifft eine Kleinigkeit und wirklich gut gemacht. Ich war wirklich zufrieden

Nette wirtsleid...mittagsmenü ist verbesserungsbedürftig, allerdings die Preise auch noch wie vor 20 Jahren , da ist Luft nach oben...allemal in einer solchen Lage in Bad wiessee...viel Glück weiterhin!!!

Das Essen war leider nich frisch zubereitet. Für die Qualität zu teuer.

Öffnungszeiten sollten auch eingehalten werden, sonst vergrault man sich die Kunden. Hab hier schon mal seeehhr lecker gegessen, deshalb hier ich auch extra 20 Minuten gewartet bis das Restaurant öffnet (Freitag 12 Uhr). Jetzt ist es 12.05 Uhr und noch immer niemand da. Bin mega hungrig und jetzt echt genervt 😒 . Kein Hinweis auf Betriebszeiten, weder an der Tür noch im Internet!12.08 Uhr - jetzt knapp 30 Minuten gewartet- alles dunkel im Restaurant - ich bin dann weg und komm auch nicht wieder!!

Die junge Dame vom Service war einfach nur toll. Sie war sehr sehr höflich und richtig bemüht. Das Essen war ehr nicht der Rede wert.

Grundsätzlich finde ich es sehr schwierig, Restaurants mit gesunder Küche zu vernünftigen Preisen zu finden. Wer so etwas sucht, dem kann ich das Restaurant Mr. Vu empfehlen. Die vietnamesischen Inhaber sind sehr freundlich und haben sich wundervoll um uns gekümmert. Das Essen wurde innerhalb von ca. 20 Minuten serviert. Das Gemüse war frisch, die Ente und das Tofu gut gebraten / frittiert. Einzig die Reisnudeln waren für meinen Geschmack einen Tick zu salzig. Es wurden uns versehentlich zwei Miso-Suppen serviert, die dann aufs Haus gingen. Den Kindern wurden Glückskekse und Lollis geschenkt, was sehr nett war. Insgesamt haben wir für 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder 50 Euro bezahlt. Die Preis-Leistung geht damit absolut in Ordnung!

Essen war Ok aber nichts besonderes. Preislich top. Habe schon besseres Sushi gegessen. Verstehe hier die Sushi Kenner, die vom Sushi schwärmen überhaupt nicht. Entweder haben die vorher noch nie Sushi gegessen oder hier das erste mal.

Schnelle Bedienung. Sehr guter Service. Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Essen ist gut. Es ist ein ruhiges Restaurant, in dem man abends ohne Probleme essen kann. Sehr günstige Preise für die Gegend. Besonders gut gefallen haben mir der Service und die Schnelligkeit, mit der das Essen geliefert wurde.

Normales asiatisches Restaurant, positiv ist anzumerken, dass sie anscheinend mit wenig oder gar keinem Geschmacksverstärker arbeiten.

Haben für unser Team Sushi bestellt. Es war für alle was dabei, es wurde frisch gemacht und das konnte man schmecken. Jeder war glücklich, vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal. :)

Leider nicht zu empfehlen, der Service war chaotisch, Getränke wurden vergessen, wir mussten mehrfach nachfragen, das Essen kam nicht gleichzeitig, eine Gericht wurde vergessen... extrem lange Wartezeiten. Die Ente war überhaupt nicht knusprig, sonder zäh. Das andere Essen war okay, aber auch nicht besonders. Wir hatten eine Reservierung (6 Personen) und obwohl der Service und die Küche schon hoffnungslos überfordert waren als wir kamen, wurden weitere Gäste noch angenommen. Wenn man die anderen Rückmeldung liest, so scheint es hier manchmal gut zu sein, aber oft eben auch nicht. Ich gehe oft Essen, dieser Abend war denkwürdig (schlecht).
