Great location and very attentive service, but the fish could be better.

Convenient location on Pasing's Marienplatz. Seating is available both inside and outside. The selection is ample, allowing you to choose from one of the delicious dishes or antipasti. We opted for the Melanzane alla Parmigiana, Pizza Margherita, and homemade pasta with black truffle. All three dishes were cooked to perfection. The pizza was fluffy, and the cheese and tomato sauce ratio was perfectly balanced. The pasta was al dente and served with plenty of truffle, both freshly shaved and in the butter sauce. The Melanzane was tender and well-layered. Perfectly fried and not oily. The tomato sauce was wonderfully fruity with a subtle hint of basil. Overall, the food was perfectly balanced. For anyone who enjoys good, sophisticated Italian food, I highly recommend Mozzamo.

The ambiance is very nice and modern, and you feel like you're in good hands. Unfortunately, the pizza didn't impress us, and there weren't enough choices, in my opinion. Of course, everyone has different tastes. :) Unfortunately, we had to wait a while, even though it was much quieter. Our appetizer was also forgotten. Sure, it can happen, but for the price you pay, things like this shouldn't happen much.

Service poor, food good Despite a reservation, we weren't given a table for 10 people, so we had to wait for the table to be rearranged. Water was quickly placed on the table, but there weren't enough glasses and they weren't brought. We waited an hour and a quarter for the food. Appetizers weren't served until after the main courses. Long drinks weren't stirred. No one asked if everything was okay or if we wanted more drinks. Considering the restaurant's presentation and the promise of a slightly more upscale Italian restaurant, it fell far short of our expectations. We won't be visiting this restaurant again.

More show than substance! Beautiful weather, empty inside, packed outside! We counted 10 employees, and we've been waiting for 1.5 hours for the main course, after receiving an appetizer worth €20.50 with a product value of €4.00 after 45 minutes!

I've been to this restaurant twice now, and the experiences couldn't have been more different. Everything was great the first time: The food came quickly, the service was friendly, and I was there with my girlfriend on our first date. It was a really nice evening. Today, on our anniversary, we wanted to repeat the experience, but unfortunately, we made a huge mistake. When I asked if there were two seats available outside, I received an annoyed and unfriendly response from the manager. After that, we sat for over five minutes without anyone asking us for drinks. The food didn't arrive for over an hour, even though several guests who arrived after us were served much faster. In total, we were in the restaurant for two hours, of which we only ate for 20 minutes. The food was acceptable, but by no means worth the stress and long wait. The manager was unfriendly and unprofessional the entire evening and didn't apologize once or show any kind of accommodatingness. Even when I asked for the bill, he took his time, even though we were already ready to leave. By the end, both of us were in a completely bad mood. It was a real disappointment after our lovely first visit, and we never would have expected that. Definitely the last time for us.

A beautiful restaurant with a great ambiance, but neither the service nor the kitchen lived up to the impression. Our server seemed rather disorganized and had little overview of his tables. The couple next to us, who were already studying the menu when we first entered, seemed completely lost in their corner and were served well after us. So we sat overlooking the pizza oven and watched the pizzas being prepared. Eventually, five finished pizzas were ready and were ignored for ages. So long that we started talking about it. Our server walked past the pizzas several times for about 10 minutes, looked at the receipt (which also shows the table number and time of order), but then put it back to move on to other tasks. So we watched as the pizzas slowly cooled and wondered if they could be our food. And what can I say? They were indeed our pizzas, which were then brought to our table almost cold. I would have expected more care from a restaurant that charges €20 for a pizza. We ate the pizzas anyway because we were very hungry, but unfortunately, they weren't that tasty.

We had a good time eating here. Service took some time, as we were sitting outside, but the staff was friendly and efficient. The menu has a good variety. The food was good, we had pizza and it was super well done. However, I thought the restaurant to be a bit too expensive for what it offered. Of course, the location is super nice and the dishes are good, but maybe the cost benefit is not the greatest. Other than that, super recommended :)

Definitely a great choice to come here! My pizza was incredibly delicious. I had the vegetarian pizza converted to a vegan pizza, using tomato sauce instead of cheese, and the result was a juicy, delicious vegan pizza! The team was extremely professional and courteous, with great service. Highly recommended!

We were guests at Mozzamo on May 10th at 6:30 p.m. and left the restaurant around 8:20 p.m. Unfortunately, our visit wasn't as pleasant as we would have hoped – primarily due to the way we were served by one particular waiter. The ambiance at Mozzamo is appealing, stylish, and generally inviting. We also enjoyed the food very much – both in terms of taste and presentation. We would also like to emphasize that all the other service staff we encountered throughout the evening seemed very friendly, attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, this was not the case with the waiter who was primarily responsible for our table. Right from the start, it was noticeable that he was lacking in attentiveness: Orders had to be announced multiple times, our table was obviously avoided for extended periods of time, and it gave the impression that we as guests were more of a nuisance than a welcome one. The professional and attentive service one would expect in a restaurant of this caliber was unfortunately lacking. Things became particularly unpleasant when we redeemed our €200 voucher. The waiter in question initially pointed out to us quite firmly that no refund was possible – which we understood. However, we expressed our wish to be issued a new voucher for the remaining amount of €77.70. This led to a lengthy, uncomfortable discussion, despite our polite and objective manner. Only when an experienced colleague – who was also very friendly – ​​was called in was the situation resolved. Another unpleasant moment arose when we asked to round up and deduct €125 from the voucher. The waiter reacted noticeably angrily and repeatedly asked whether the amount should remain the same. It seemed as if he was indirectly trying to secure a tip in this way. We found his subsequent, ironically worded comment ("that's a lot of tip") inappropriate. We originally intended to give him a cash tip – but given the overall situation, we decided against it. Unfortunately, we were unable to tip the other, very friendly waiter, as we didn't see him again. Overall, this evening left a very unpleasant impression on us – not due to the cuisine or the ambiance, but solely due to the manner in which a single server served us. We regret this very much, because with consistently professional service, it could have been a pleasant evening. Due to this experience, we will unfortunately not be visiting Mozzamo again in the future. We hope that management will use this incident as an opportunity to provide more intensive training for new employees – especially in dealing with guests and in matters of internal procedures (such as voucher processing). Service is crucial in the restaurant industry – and that's exactly what we were lacking.

Unfortunately, not recommended for lunch! The seating is quite nice. The lunch menu looked very appealing at first glance. But: Vegan salad with Parmesan?? Completely incomprehensible! Watery asparagus soup. The pasta with asparagus was also too salty, and there wasn't even a whole stalk to be found. Basically, everything was too salty. Apart from that, we had to wait almost an hour for the main course, and there was hardly anything going on. A lunch menu has to be quicker! It can't take that long to prepare a salad and cook some pasta. Even the friendly service can't help it! A disaster!

Very tasty pizza and pleasant atmosphere.

I've been to Mozzamo several times and always loved it, but today's experience was unfortunately very negative. The waiter (a bald man with glasses) was rudeness personified, I have rarely experienced such bad service. In addition, our pizza - which was delicious in itself - arrived cold. Very nice place, great service from waiter and boss. We had menue for lunch. You can choose: starter and main course or main course and dessert. Was very tasty. I think the portion is smaller than normal on the menu. But it's also lunch.

Pizza was forgotten to pick up - that can happen. But in the end I had to pay for the drink that was offered to me for my waiting time. €5.40 for a small cola. Unfortunately, the pizza with buffalo mozzarella was completely soggy. Food ok, service catastrophe.

I celebrated my registry office lunch at Mozzamo last May - and to this day I still get annoyed every time I think about it. It was an absolute disgrace and a total embarrassment! Although everything was discussed in writing with the restaurant manager in advance and the price was clearly agreed upon, something completely different was simply charged on the day itself. The employees obviously had no idea about the arrangements - zero communication, zero preparation, pure lack of planning. And the worst thing of all: the manager in charge was neither on site nor available by phone on this important day. He simply disappeared without a trace. How can you work like that?! The entire process was chaotic, unprofessional and extremely embarrassing - especially because my guests had to witness the whole drama first hand. Instead of a festive, smooth lunch after the registry office, the mood was ruined. For a restaurant that promotes itself as high quality and reliable, this was an absolutely disappointing, disrespectful experience. I wouldn't recommend anyone to host a celebration there - especially if the occasion means something to you. For me it was a unique day that was overshadowed by total incompetence. Never again.

I went to Mozzamo for dinner with two friends. The atmosphere is very stylish and authentic - you immediately feel like you are in a small Italian restaurant in the middle of Naples. I ordered a pizza with buffalo mozzarella - the dough was perfectly crispy and the toppings were wonderfully fresh and aromatic. The service was very friendly, attentive and professional. Overall a great experience - Mozzamo is definitely worth a visit. Always happy.

Ordered a pizza, after half an hour it arrived cold, waited another 20 minutes for napkins and cutlery. Nobody cared. A dead horse offers a faster service than this place.

Unfortunately disappointing. Nice pizzeria, but the prices are a bit too high, especially when the pizza comes cold on the plate. It then had to be reheated again, and honestly, reheated pizza for 18 euros isn't a calling card for a pizzeria. The location is great, but overall not convincing for us.

Very great, I had a pizza and also had a special request (instead of buffalo burrata) which they prepared immediately. The pizza was really delicious. Due to Ramadan we also asked if it would be possible to bring it to the specific Iftar time which worked out great.

Service is quick and courteous; we waited about 40 minutes for the food (lunch menu!). My main course (pasta) from the weekly menu was oversalted and absolutely not worth the €20. It's a shame because the atmosphere is very nice and an asset to Pasing. But when the prices are so high and the food so bad, we can't recommend Mozzamo.

Respect, the prices don't have to hide behind starred restaurants. We and our digestive organs prefer not to comment on the quality (taste, preparation, etc.) of the food we eat. In any case, for us the most unsatisfactory pizzas we ever had in Munich and for €19, what a shame. The same and best pizzas that we have ever enjoyed in Munich for just €13.50!! on Fürstenriederstr. My pasta came after 42 minutes from the time of ordering and since I asked the Waiter after 30 minutes passed why it was taking so long. The girl was chatting with the fellow chef and we were waiting. The adjacent tables that came after us in the restaurant and got pizza ate while we were still waiting. First time in the store and definitely the last.

All I can say is that no matter which Mozzamo I've been to so far, it's always sensational. Unfortunately, I can't understand why someone would post a receipt that was apparently too high. It looks like there were four guests. This amount is rather golden for Munich. All I can say is that the price-performance ratio is great. We always enjoy coming back...

The atmosphere and furnishings of the restaurant are very pleasant, elegant but not too upscale. The food, the mozzarella and pizzas, were very tasty! We sometimes had to wait longer for the waiter, but we didn't mind because it was very busy and we really enjoyed staying in the restaurant. Great recommendation!

This is my favorite restaurant since I’ve arrived in Munich. It’s like coming back home every time. It’s always my choice when I want to treat myself or having a good time with friends and family. The staff is always great, special mention to Lucas.

I had a wonderful experience eating at MOZZAMO - everything was excellent, and the tiramisu was truly incredible (I literally inhaled it!). However, the service sometimes seemed too intrusive; We were asked almost immediately after receiving our drinks if we needed anything else. The four of us were there for about three hours and spent around €150 - so it's not like we sat around forever. It was also a bit unpleasant when a woman without a uniform tried to clear our table without introducing herself. Maybe she was the owner, but that wasn't obvious to us. Although attentive service can be pleasant, we felt rushed by the constant questioning, which disrupted the otherwise relaxed atmosphere. This isn't the USA, after all, and a little more freedom would help a lot. If MOZZAMO scaled back the frequent interruptions a bit, it would be almost perfect - especially with the quality of the food (the tiramisu shouldn't be missed!).

We were in the Pasinger Arcaden and stopped by here spontaneously. Very friendly staff, great ambience and incredibly delicious food! We were also able to save money thanks to the lunch special. We'll definitely be back!

As so often, our girlfriends date took place here yesterday. We love coming here. The food is excellent and the service is first class. The staff are always in a good mood with each other, which is passed on to us as guests. Yesterday the boss was there and he pretty much prevented this ease among his employees. Nevertheless, as always, we were warmly welcomed and treated as such. A real feel-good evening. A little tip for the boss: don't be so strict with the great employees but be grateful that they are there and do such a good job ;) And especially with bad experience: everyone deserves a second chance!

Price-performance (delivery) is a disgrace and borders on fraud. Not 80g of meat costs €17.50. Pizza (15.50) ice cold and toppings were saved. Unfortunately the taste is not great either. Then it's better to go to the Losteria opposite!

I've tried there several times now, but the people in this store are just plain rude! When you get there, you'll be left standing at the door for a good five minutes until someone even deigns to speak to you. If you don't have a reservation, you'll be looked over from head to toe and you'll spend ages leafing through the reservation book. The food is extremely mediocre and way too expensive. The long wait is not worth it! Guys, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else, two streets away is La Via, here you can get good Italian cuisine and nice service and also spontaneously find a seat.

I was getting a pizza medium size for 15 euros with big bread crust which most throw away anyway. It wasn't really good the margarita was to small less cheese and the bread was a little to thick. And I wanted extra cheese but the waiter ignored it. Wouldn't recommend it at all. But it's your money..

I've been to Mozzamo's so many times, including in Pasing, but yesterday evening unfortunately finished me off. Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed. So first of all, the order went pretty well, so many things that could only go wrong went wrong, but it wasn't a problem, I think the girl was young and new! I was a bit annoyed because we had canceled some side dishes twice because our main course wasn't available and they came anyway. And some of the dishes were wrong - 2 burratas were missing? I didn't have ruccola even though it said it had ruccola. But we were actually quite okay with the situation. But what didn't work was that the waitress then went to the blonde lady at the drinks counter and told her everything and she giggled and kept looking at us. They laughed as if WE had given our order wrong. We sat right next to it. Really funny? Who knows how it was presented. My salad had no dressing - the burrata had been missing before and they knew it was supposed to be my main dish, funny honestly - so I got a big salad unseasoned + no oil no salt. & I didn't get any olive oil despite asking twice. I then got it myself. And since I felt so harassed by the blonde lady and the strange looks, I even moved. And yes, it's a complaint, because you don't do something like that :-) we just wanted to eat in a relaxed manner. Did the supplements only get canceled because what we wanted wasn't available? So we had to order something else and the side dishes just wouldn't have been right. The waitress also got her tip, all well and good, but the blonde lady's behavior was just a no-go because it wasn't our fault :)

It's a shame that I can't really give a good report about the place. Since I come from the catering industry myself and would prefer to report positively. Unfortunately, there were several things that didn't suit me in terms of price/performance. 1. Reservation: Via voice computer, where no additional requests (e.g. in the corner, not in the middle, not at the entrance) could be made. 2. The place: We were given a place on site that didn't meet our expectations, even though other places were available. Typically it was said again that the existing & “good” places are reserved and for larger groups. (But no one came there in 1.5 hours) 3. Service: If I choose a slightly more upscale restaurant, I would like to have appropriate labels and not be addressed as YOU. 4. Food: I personally find ready-made carpaccio with a simple sauce from the tube for €17.50 too much. (Not only did I see it that way, but so did my companions) Pizza was ok. Dryer edge and 20€ don't fit here either. 5. Wine: To taste the wine, pour almost 0.2l for a €46 wine. Well... that's not professional. Price/performance here too. 6. Farewell: If the waitress doesn't really listen to the bill, what she should give back to me and cuts her own tip, then I already know what I'm worth on a €185 bill. AND then don't even say thank you for the visit or say goodbye. STILL A LOT TO LEARN FOR THE RESTAURANT. Both kitchen and SERVICE. It's a shame that I have to write such a report, but maybe this feedback will help. I come from the catering industry myself and I think I can judge the experience very well. For me personally, unfortunately it is not a recommendation at this point in time. But I wish you all the best! 🍀

The food is very tasty but when we saw on the bill that a small cola costs €5.50 it was clear that the price-performance ratio at Mozzamo could no longer be right. I will avoid it in the future because there are much better Italians for more pleasant prices, people are happy to pay for good food but selling a Coke for 5 times more is speculation in my opinion.

It says on the door that the restaurant is open until 11pm, but the kitchen closes at 9:25pm.

I'll start with the appetizer. I ordered Vitello tonnato. For almost €19 I expected more. The portion was quite small and in terms of taste, I have had better Vitello Tonnato. 😔 The pizza is bombastic. I love those. I'm also willing to pay the money. 🤩 Tiramisu is a MUST for me 🩵 and it was super delicious. Ambiance is super nice. Service was a bit slow, but nice.

Totally overpriced 2 drinks 2 ravioli 70 euros that is very sad and not justified. No matter which 5 star menu you choose, it's cheaper than the store!

What happened to the prices? We always enjoyed coming here but unfortunately we won't be doing that anymore! Such an increase in prices is unacceptable! For a table water €5.20! Or charging €18.50 for a small starter of parmigana (see photo) is really outrageous. Pizza for €18.50 is also significantly too expensive. The tables are now so close that you have to stand up to let the guests at the other table take their seats - impossible! There are better Italian restaurants in the city center with better food and fair prices.

The restaurant is a very nice and new-fangled place with features of the past! I was there with 6 friends and it took over an hour to get our food! The pizza I ate was excellent! The crust, dough, sauce and cheese are indescribable! The servers were friendly and treated us well even though, as I said, the food came very late! But the price was very reasonable and understandable for 7 people! I'd love to come back👍👌

I liked being here. Until the prices were outrageously increased. 13 euros for a simple Margherita is absolutely out of the question. In short: I was alienated as a long-term guest.

We were here for the first time in the early evening of August 10th, 2024 and were very excited. The entire team on the terrace worked with a wonderful mix of “casuality” and yet unobtrusive attention; we felt extremely welcome. The food is very good, Munich prices 😉. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, the restaurant requires a minimum turnover of 50 euros per person for 10 people. So if you don't want two courses and a wine, you can unfortunately skip a visit. This requirement is totally unrealistic, especially with children. It's a shame, the food has been very good so far and the conditions too. It's a shame that something like this keeps a large number of customers away.

Excellent Traditional Neapolitan pizza, prices are above average but remember that quality costs money, the smoked Mozzarella was also delicious, on the down side they are understaffed and service takes time.

Very friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately, the cannelloni were only lukewarm, not seasoned and you definitely won't get full of them, a mini portion for €22.50, which is completely excessive even in Munich. It's best to stick with pizza, it's great...

Das Essen im Mozzamo ist immer super lecker. Der Service hingegen eher mittelmäßig. Auch in einem nicht vollen Laden muss man sehr lange drauf warten, bis ein Kellner kommt um das Menü zu bringen oder die Bestellung aufzunehmen. Auch sehr schade war, dass beim Ausschenken von Wein die Kühlflüssigkeit ins Essen und auf die Klamotten tropfte und die Kellnerin erst nach Aufforderung ein Tuch nutzte. Zum Teil stehen die Tische so eng beieinander, dass man sich nicht hinsetzen kann.

Getränke-Preise sind unverschämt Coca-Cola 0,33l = 5,40€

The food is good, but for the price it is not reasonable. The atmosphere is very calm, I liked it, but the service was horrible from the first moment. I would tell a foreigner not to go eat there. I tried to tell the waiter in German about a table for 2 people and I didn't remember the word and I asked him if he spoke Italian or English and he said no, I should speak German. because we are in Germany and yes he is right, but if a foreigner arrives and does not know how to speak German then what? Don't you attend to it? Why doesn't the person speak German? I was with my husband and he did speak German and practically the attention was given to him and I felt ignored, I would not return to the place.

The pizza was very good albeit a bit overpriced. The one star review is because one of the waiters told us that “in Deutschland spricht man Deutsch” (In Germany we speak German) when he asked about which language we spoke. This left a bad aftertaste from the visit.

Pizza was rock solid, tomato salad with 8 wedges and 5 charlotte rings for €7.50 was questionable. Serving wine after a starter salad when the restaurant wasn't at full capacity wasn't what I expected given the prices. Service was professional and friendly but not very attentive. We didn't get any refills at the next table. Ambiance was nice and cozy.

Can't understand the somewhat negative reviews, we had a great evening. Service attentive and very friendly, but not too intrusive, food very tasty and top quality. The visible kitchen is very cool. Sure, no prices like the L'Osteria opposite, but the price-performance ratio is definitely right. Thanks!

The pizzas there have a thick and wide crust. However, this means that the occupied area in the middle is just as large as a 20cm pizza. The prices are as high as for a jumbo pizza. 0.25l soda costs €4. In fact, the glass only had a volume of 0.2l. An unreasonably high price for a children's drink. Our waitress was friendly and, after an initial wait, the service was quick. Therefore 2 stars. I complained to her about the thick edge. She understood our comment and wanted to pass it on.

Based on a recommendation, I wanted to eat a Neapolitan Margherita pizza here, but then I stupidly let myself be seduced by the menu. It was a Pizza Mozzamo with mortadella, pistachio cream and buffalo mozzarella. The latter simply as a ball in the middle of the pizza. Although fresh from the oven, the pizza had already cooled down considerably due to the 3 ingredients added after baking and was only lukewarm. Unfortunately far too many toppings. As a result, the pizza was rather soggy. The crust was great and shows that you could probably give 5 stars to a Margherita pizza here. A pity.

The pizza is good, but the price is above average even for Munich. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio isn't quite right here. The service is friendly, but sometimes a bit disorganized.
