12:30 p.m. We wanted to order. He said he was still preparing and to come back in half an hour. Of course, we didn't.

Change of ownership! Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it. Super delicious shawarma and falafel. Fresh ingredients. The skewers are made with home-marinated meat. Highly recommended. Much better than any gyro or doner kebab! They are (rightly) proud to offer the only authentic shawarma in the region.

I like to eat the grilled chicken here. It tastes delicious. It's a good choice.👍🏻

So, the vendor was relatively nice and put a lot of effort into preparing the food (I had a shawarma and a falafel). For example, while he was making the falafel, he briefly flipped the shawarma in the oil from the spit and then placed it on the grill to crisp it up. Good idea, but with disastrous results. From the falafel, I know the flatbread he used must have been made of cardboard; at least, that's what it tasted like (anyone who's worked with cardboard a lot knows what I mean, that dry, fuzzy feeling that builds up). And the shawarma smelled of rancid oil as soon as I unpacked it, and if I weren't half-starved (and from Swabia), I would have thrown it away after the first bite because it tasted like cardboard deep-fried in rancid oil. I got stomach cramps and diarrhea that night, and it still smelled exactly the same... I wish him all the best, but the flatbreads were terrible, the sauces were tasteless, and the meat brought back flashbacks to the rotten meat scandal from a few years ago.

Absolutely not recommended. Once bitten into and thrown away, the entire "shawarma" was inedible. I wanted to give the store a chance despite the already questionable ambience. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed. I learned that you can't always trust good reviews.

There's nothing wrong with this place, but I hope for more quality and variety of food in the future. Maybe it's because of the size of the store

I haven't been there for a while (Covid, home office...) and I was really looking forward to the sharwarma... and what do I have to say: I haven't eaten something that bad in a long time (if I didn't have 7 EUR for it paid and felt a certain hunger, I would have thrown it in the trash...)! The meat was bad, everything was dry and bland...no comparison to before! Apparently there has been a change of ownership - all the good reviews are still for the predecessor, which was great... does anyone know where it is now? I would also take a 20 minute drive to get there. But I can only advise against the new one - especially those who have been there before will be totally disappointed!

The shop is now called Fados Shawarma. Standard quality, unfortunately there is a lack of seasoning and delicious sauces. Plus, ready-made hummus from a tube doesn't work at all...

Update October 2023: Once upon a time... After Elmo handed over the business, things slowly went downhill. The operator has now changed twice (from Moudhys) to Fados-Shawarma. The basic product has remained. However, both the quality and the quantity have decreased significantly. The brilliant selection of sauces is no longer either. In addition, the opening times have become completely unreliable (no indication of opening times at the store. Closed although open according to Google, etc.). Original recessions: Brilliant shawarma. No comparison to the masses of kebab stalls. Small cozy ToGo snack bar. In summer there is some outside seating.

We need Moudhy's shawarma back!!!

Now it's no longer worth going there, it's a real shame. Get the recipe from the previous owners and put in a little more effort. Back then there were a lot more toppings and sauces and the meat tasted completely different...

Geilster Shawarma, preis ist voll gut und schmeckt richtig Geil. Richtig scharfe Soße war wirklich scharf (musste weinen)

Sehr sehr leckere Alternative zu anderen den anderen Imbissen. Hatte einen Shawarma mit Schafskäse diese Kombination kann ich sehr empfehlen. Das Fleisch ist sehr gut gewürzt und auch sehr saftig. Preislich auch völlig in Ordnung. Wer mal was anderes testen möchte ist hier beim Moudy‘s richtig.

Super leckerer Imbiss! Schawarma war mir bisher unbekannt, aber schmeckt sehr gut mit arabisch pikantem Geschmack!

Sehr leckeres Essen und eine freundliche Bedienung. Für einen kurzen Snack für zwischendurch war es einfach perfekt. Für das Ambiente fehlt leider die passende Sitzmöglichkeit.

Ich habe schon sehr viele shawarma‘s gegessen aber er hier macht meiner Meinung nach den besten. Sehr leckeres fleisch und gutes brot. Ebenso ist das eine sehr gute Portionsgröße perfekt für den Mittag.

Sehr lecker mit top Service. Scharf ist hier auch wirklich scharf. Das Essen kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Egal ob Shawarma, Kafta oder Elmo-Burger. Alles schmeckt hier einfach sehr gut.

Super nette Bedienung und das Essen ist immer frisch und sehr lecker. Egal ob Falafel oder mit Fleisch, es war bisher immer alles top. Auch die Lieferung in unser Büro war perfekt. Alles top eingepackt und gekennzeichnet. Das Essen ist frisch und richtig, richtig lecker. Wir sind inzwischen regelmäßige Kunden!! Macht weiter so👍

Es ist sooo lecker, so frisch, und die Gewürze und Zutaten sind einfach ein richtiges Geschmackserlebnis. Habe schon öfters gehört das es sehr lecker sein soll, nachdem ich den Falafelburger nun selbst probiert habe hat es alle Vorstellungen übertroffen. Komme devinitiv nun öfters. Wirklich meeega.

Naja, wirklich lecker ist anders. Vegane Falaffeln im Brot leider ohne Soße. Auf den schnellen Hunger in Ordnung. Mehr aber nicht.

Bester Shawarma in Deutschland !

Extrem leckere Shawarma hier gegessen. Leider komme ich nicht aus der Gegend, sonst würde ich die Speisekarte rauf- und runter probieren. Selbstgemachte authentische Kost, besser bekommt man es nicht. Die scharfe Soße ist auch sehr lecker. 100% Weiterempfehlung, nette Besitzer!

War gestern hier essen. Bieten reichlich Auswahl- alles Frisch und vor jedermanns Augen zubereitet. Komme extra aus Pforzheim hier essen, da ich ELMO SHAWARMA einmal zufällig entdeckt habe. Bleibt die Nummer eins was shawarma und falafel angeht 💯💯💯
