Bassano - Restaurant & Bar in Schwäbisch Gmünd

A cozy Italian restaurant with simple but delicious cuisine. While the menu isn't particularly extensive, the dishes on offer are carefully prepared and appear fresh and authentic. You can tell that attention is paid to good ingredients and authentic flavors. The Milanese was particularly good – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, just as it should be. The side dishes were also perfect and complemented the meal wonderfully. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed, without any excessive frills. Overall, a pleasant place for anyone who appreciates simple, honest Italian cuisine. Not a large gourmet restaurant, but a very good place for a delicious, uncomplicated meal.

Unfortunately, beyond the name, there's nothing Italian about it. The pizza was made with incorrectly leavened bread and not fully cooked. The vegetarian appetizer was good, though limited (everything was filled with the same cheese). The pasta was good, but the shrimp were overcooked.

We had two fantastic Margarita cocktails and a delicious Diavola Pinsa. Great flavors, perfect balance, and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!

We ordered food to take away, and it was fresh, warm, and delicious. We'll stop by when we get a chance—I'm curious to see what it's like in person.

Manageable but very varied menu. Very tasty food. More of a bar than a restaurant. Drinks (juice spritzer) were pretty much diluted. In addition, the drinks have quite high prices. When it comes to food, the prices match the good quality.

Nice bar to have a drink in the evening. There is also outside catering. Right in the old town, a little to the side of St. John's Church. Good selection of drinks and cocktails.

Very good shop, with good food and nice staff. But your tables are really annoying. The tubular steel brackets on the high tables get in the way and are annoying.

A very nice restaurant, which is modern and chic. The food is very tasty and highly recommended, particularly the pinsa and the scamorza burger. The service is also very good, you feel welcome and completely comfortable at Bassano. I can only recommend the Bassano to everyone. Very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants in the area

Chic restaurant with a good wine list. The music could be a bit quieter. Very friendly and attentive service. We were there to drink wine and really enjoyed our stay here.

Essen war ok, aber ne Pinsa belegen erfordert ja auch nicht irgendwelche besonderen Kochkünste. Zum sitzen mit Freunden ist es aber ideal. Waren als größere Gruppe da und die Bedienung war auf Zack und alle Essen die wir vorbestellt hatten kamen zügig und richtig.

Hatte gestern Geburtstag und war dort zum erstenmal. Ich hab ein Tisch reserviert für meine Freundin und ich. Wurden zum unseren Platz gebracht, nach 15 min kommt eine und sagte uns, wir müssen uns einen Tisch weiter setzen, weil der Tisch reserviert wurde mit Kamin. Ich hab mich so gefreut, dass wir so ein cooles Platz bekommen haben. Aber sonst war ich im ganzen sehr zufrieden. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen mit der Reservierung am Kamin!

Gastfreundschaft pur! Wir hatten gestern eine Firmenveranstaltung im Bassano. Der Service, das Essen und die Orga waren absolut erstklassig! Umstellung der Möbel? Kein Thema. Können wir hier unser Produkt hinstellen? Klar. Geht hier noch etwas Licht? Machen wir möglich (und das sogar in Farbe). Chapeau, besser kann man es nicht machen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich war zu einem Mädelsabend im Bassano. Das Essen war eine echte Überraschung! Es hat richtig gut geschmeckt und war toll angerichtet. Die Servicekraft war total nett und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das Essen war gut, wir wurden auch zügig und freundlich bedient. Allerdings finde ich die Preise ziemlich überhöht!

Die Pommes sind Spitze, auch die Süßkartoffelpommes.... Die Pinzas kann ich auch nur empfehlen

We went there on Wednesday night without reservation. There are quite some places outside and the weather was great. All three of us ordered Pinsa which were really good. The cocktail here was outstanding and we all love it. We also shared one chocolate cake. The price was really fair and would highly recommend to come here!

Essen war sehr lecker und eine sehr sympathische Servicekraft! Super Preis/-Leistungsverhältnis. Nette u stylische Atmosphäre. Die Musik war zum Glück nicht zu laut u man konnte sich angenehm unterhalten. Liegt mitten im ♥️ von Schwäbisch Gmünd. Deshalb muss man entweder im Parkhaus parken oder man hat Glück.

La comida no la he probado. Buen ambiente siempre y camareros simpaticos.

Vor einem Jahr haben wir hier nach unserer standesamtlichen Hochzeit mit ca 60 Leuten gegessen. Es war rundum großartig! Zunächst wurde uns direkt angeboten, als geschlossene Gesellschaft hier den Nachmittag verbringen zu dürfen. Es wurde eine extra kleine Speisekarte mit einer von uns zusammengestellten Auswahl an Gerichten erstellt. Obwohl wir uns nicht an die vereinbarte Zeit hielten, gab es keinerlei Probleme und das Personal ist stets freundlich geblieben. Das Essen und die Drinks waren super. Was uns jedoch immer in Erinnerung bleiben wird, war das Personal: Ihr wart einfach toll! Vielen herzlichen Dank an Jessy und das Team, dass uns an diesem Nachmittag bedient hat. Ihr habt unseren Tag zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht und uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Auch die Planung zuvor mit Jessy verlief super easy und unproblematisch. Tolle Bar für Hundebesitzer - Hunde jeder Größe sind herzlich willkommen und werden auch sofort (mit frischem Wasser) bedient. Gerne wieder.
