Moritz Kebap Haus in Wiesbaden

Small, fine Turkish restaurant with an impulsive mom behind the counter who manages everything. Food was good and sufficient, friendly atmosphere and nice service.

An incredible place in terms of price/quality/service ratio. I ordered meatballs with vegetables and pasta, which cost me 9 euros. The portion was large enough, and there is nothing to say about the taste, because it is a must-try for everyone! Before that, I was served a few pieces of Turkish bread free of charge, and at the end of the meal, also free of charge, a glass of Turkish tea was served. The attitude towards the guests is simply amazing, I sincerely thank you for this and I can definitely recommend this place to absolutely everyone!

This place is a real gem! Turkish restaurant where the food is always absolutely delicious and fresh. Our most memorable and favourite food experiences included the lentil soup, eggplant dish, grilled beef kebabs, lamb chops platter, grilled chicken platter and the salads. The Turkish tea served at the end of the meal is always a pleasure to have. Each time my husband visits Weisbaden, he very much looks forward to eating here, and usually does so 3-4 times a week. He's been enjoying the food at this restaurant for many, many years. The family that owns and runs the restaurant are very nice people, as well as all the staff who work there. The restaurant is always kept very clean and tidy, and the service is always excellent. The only problem I had while eating there this summer, was the annoying wasps constantly flying in and out of the restaurant, and buzzing around my food. Thank you to all who made our experience at the restaurant truly memorable for many wonderful reasons. We hope to be back some day soon! 😃

It's been a kebab shop for over 10 years and I enjoy going to it. Friendly service and delicious food.

A very friendly owner who takes a lot of time and offers a friendly atmosphere for his customers. The portions of the food make you feel full and the food tastes great and always has excellent service. Cleanliness is also very important here and is shown accordingly. I will always be happy to eat there again. If there were more than 5 stars as a rating, I would tap it without thinking 👍👍👍

Unfortunately, just being nice isn't enough. The meat on the kebab plate was cold. Grill Mix plate is very thinly topped with meat. Too bad. Although the people are very nice.

Very unpleasant service, really simple Durum only salad and 1 slice of tomato... not great really disappointed by the quality.

To see: Dürüm menu. Very tasty and tender meat. Price was okay. There was a little bit of meat and fries but it was still enough. We were treated to tea after our meal and it tasted great. Gladly again.

Good food, good service, would be back again

I was here for lunch today with my buddies and ordered turkey with fries but there was hair on the fries. I took them inside and showed them and also told them that I wanted to change my order but they refused. And they didn't even apologize. In addition, the staff (except waiters) were very rude and unfriendly. My other friends were not happy with the taste. I don't recommend it to anyone and don't plan on going again.

Delicious! I'm thrilled with the service and the restaurant also looks very aesthetic, especially with the pretty paintings on the walls. Black tea is also available on the house after your meal :)

I was here for a quick food stop. Ambiance inside is quite nice, outside okay. Service was attentive and quick. The vegetarian food was mediocre. The Dürum was relatively cheap, but also small, and it was more of a sauce with cheese. The lentil soup was delicious, but not creamy but coarsely pureed (for some people the consistency is important). Overall it was good for in between meals.

This meal doesn't even deserve 1 star. I'm really surprised at the positive reviews. I ordered a Dürüm, there was hardly any meat in it but more cabbage. In addition, the service is super unfriendly. A lot of it is frozen goods so don't let yourself be told that it's all fresh.

Amazing Turkish food, great staff. We dined with grilled beef kebabs, lamb skewers, beef stew, turkey stew and lamb liver. Everything was delicious, not overly salty, perfectly balanced. We felt back in Turkey for a few hours. But the highlight of the evening was the Kunefe, best dessert known to man and a must try. No wonder they are rated the best Turkish restaurant in Germany. I just wished we discovered this place earlier and not on our last day in Wiesbaden. Will definitely be back.

I ordered 3 kebabs, only 2 were made, then I wanted another one and then got a small kebab. The kebabs weren't really well topped either, some white cabbage, 1 tomato, onions, some meat which was good, plus spongy bread and not enough garlic sauce, so I can't really recommend it, plus everything is made without gloves.

Was not expecting to have some of the best kunafa I’ve ever eaten in a random city in Germany. But I did. It was great. The lamakun was also good, the outside seating was comfy, the service was good, and my meal was cheaper than expected! Much nicer than your average doner place.

You can eat well here. The Turkish delicacies are offered neatly in a counter. I've been here twice, each time the food was delicious, clearly presented and I think it's good value for money. The conditions friendly and attentive. I'd love to come back.

I think there are a bit too few vegetables in it and today it tasted like ketchup instead of garlic sauce...but this was the first time it tasted so much like ketchup.

Small kebab house with seating inside and on the busy street. Central location in Bad Schwalbach Good portion of kebab sandwich for good money, tasty and fresh.

Super delicious food. There are menus available or you can put together your own plate at the varied counter. There are also a lot of vegetarian dishes on offer. The service is always friendly and good. You sit outside on the street, but it's still beautifully done.

As a group, we came from different countries such as Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Russia on a search for a Kebap Haus. We are very satisfied with the service as well as the prices. If we are here again, we will be happy to come back. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity. 👍

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. Yesterday I ate a kebab plate in this restaurant and the portion was so small that I couldn't get enough. Considering the value for money, I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. In addition, the restaurant is located directly on a busy street, which makes the atmosphere very unpleasant. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant and will never visit again.

Very bad kebab felt bad meat burned dry bread still completely frozen. I only recommend 1 fries to anyone!!

Absolutely the best food there is in Wiesbaden. A mixed plate of freshly cooked food every day is unbeatable. Lamb chops always juicy and very tasty. I eat here almost every day at least once a day - never had any problems and always 120% satisfied. Absolute recommendation. 👍👍👍

Completely hungry kebab… €6.80 for hardly any meat… Every time, no matter what I order, I'm still hungry for it... Service is catastrophic... Things are going well for the boss... The main thing is money 💰

Large selection of Turkish specialties. Adana Kebab Dürüm arrived differently than pictured only with iceberg lettuce and tomato. I actually even ordered an extra mixed salad on top, but nothing came of it. The waiting time of 5-10 minutes was more like 25 minutes. Nothing special in terms of taste, maybe the other dishes are more convincing. The Adana has a relatively standard seasoning and you don't have the classic smoky aroma because it is grilled on a metal plate. The price is quite reasonable for 7€/Dürüm

Do you have any flavor decorations? Had Adana dürüm and was frozen, briefly fried in old fat, there was ready-made bread and everything tasted thoroughly like old rancid fat.....worst experience in Wiesbaden...haven't eaten so bad in a long time!

Worst Adana Kebap I have ever eaten in the restaurant. It tastes good and is probably frozen - just sizzled on the grill. So if you want authentic Adana Kebap, this is unfortunately not the right place :) Lots of room for improvement!

The most delicious Turkish restaurant. Even though I almost always only eat Ali Nazik, it is always soooo delicious 🥰 still with flatbread and chai. The quality has always been consistently good and I would eat there again and again! Plus you can still get good food here even at midnight!!

The restaurant is my favorite in Wiesbaden when I feel like a falafel sandwich or Dürum. Everyone is super friendly and the prices are okay. In addition to the standard kebab dishes, you can also get homemade dishes and try out new things. On site you can sit well both indoors and outdoors and spend your lunch break.

We always enjoy coming here. Very clean restaurant with incredibly good and even cheap food. The portions are gigantic. At the end you even get tea on the house. It's really nice that something like this still exists. We will be back!

Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier zu Gast. Sehr gute zentrale Lage in der Wiesbadener Innenstadt, Kino in unmittelbarer Nähe auf der anderen Straßenseite. Freundliche Betreiber und leckere Speisen in lockerer Umgebung. Wir freuen uns immer vorher schon auf den den leckeren Döner. Nach dem Essen gibt es immer einen türkischen Tee aufs Haus. Eine klare Empfehlung.

Sehr leckeres Essen, super nettes Personal und einwandfreier Service. Wir haben einige Extras bekommen z.bsp. türkischen Tee und waren absolut zufrieden. Auch die Preise sind noch sehr niedrig.

Leckres Essen, nicht nur Döner. Auch viele Gemüsegerichte. Zur gefüllten Aubergine gab es neben Reis auch eine Salatbeilage. Die Weinblätter sind wirklich selbst gemacht. Ich komme wieder.

Bin schon sehr lange hier und das sehr gerne und immer wieder(seit 2010) Alles ist frisch, lecker und Haus gemacht . Hatte schon die ganze Karte mehrmals durch . Am liebsten nehme ich den Grillteller die Linsensuppe oder den grillteller . Aber alles andere ist auch sehr lecker .

Bin wirklich begeistert von diesem Restaurant. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker und für die Menge ist der Preis auch ziemlich gut. Des Weiteren gefällt mir die Ambiente des Restaurants sehr und das Personal ist auch sehr nett. Insgesamt empfehlenswert!

The restaurant was within walking distance of the Mercure hotel and the kitchen was open until late every night. Their service was very quick and efficient, and we had our food within 10 minutes of ordering. We enjoyed the lentil soup served with a large basket of fresh bread. We shared the meat moussaka, which was served with rice and a fresh salad. We also shared a doner with beef and turkey mince. We were both given a free glass of hot apple tea. We don’t think they sell alcohol. Our total bill was under 21 Euros without drinks. We took our own bottle of water. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Zur Mittagszeit im Moritzgrill.Linsensuppe,dann Moritz Spezialteller mit 3 Hauptgerichten,die man sich an der Theke zusammenstellen kann.Dazu Ayran.Ab 11:30 brummt der Laden derart,dass es eine Freude ist.Viele Stammgäste.Mittelpunkt des Ganzen: die Chefin hinter der Theke,die die Gerichte ausgibt,mit den Gästen redetund kassiert.Am Besten alles gleichzeitig und immer freundlich.Gäbe es sowas in der deutschen Gastronomie,wo eher vorsichtig ans Arbeiten gegangen wird, bräuchten wir uns keine Gedanken um die Zukunft zu machen. Ach so ,das Essen .Frisch,lecker und gut abgeschmeckt.Wer hier Döner isst,ist selber schuld.
