Harput Restaurant in Wiesbaden

It was definitely better in the past. The food, the service, everything. I had the Adana plate, but the skewer was as thin as my index finger. The bill came on a blank white piece of paper, as if it had been written by a child, and it ended up being €56. Harput used to be really good, but today neither the quality nor the service is up to scratch. It's a shame, it used to be one of the better restaurants.

The food at Öz Harput Restaurant was truly delicious, and the portions were generous. The prices were also quite reasonable, so we were pleased. However, the service was a bit lacking. The staff weren't very attentive and didn't seem to know much about serving. A little more friendliness and customer care would have made the experience much better.

You really have to be lucky with the waiter—today it was an absolute disaster! The chicken dish was far too dry, and even though I asked for sauce twice, I didn't get any until the very end. The drinks didn't arrive until the very end. My son had to wait the longest for his food—even though he only ordered a simple kids' kebab. Honestly, this was one of the worst restaurant visits ever! I won't be visiting this place again in the future.

I haven't been there in 20 years. It's been a lot less busy compared to back then. We sat outside, and the waiter was unfortunately too busy making small talk with his friends instead of serving the guests promptly. It took about 10 minutes before we were asked for our drinks and food. While we were eating, we were disturbed by countless wasps and bluebottles. Tip: a fake hornet's nest to scare these creatures away. When paying, I waited in vain for the waiter (about 15 minutes); the place wasn't crowded, so I went inside myself to pay at the cash register. I didn't leave a tip. Otherwise, the food was okay and the prices reasonable and not overpriced. Improve!

We went for the first time with my son. We both ordered İskender, the order arrived shortly after, unfortunately the meat was not tasty at all, we thought for a moment if it was not made with normal meat (normally İskender is made with beef), my son who missed İskender so much gave up after a few forks. On the way out, I asked the gentleman at the cash register what meat was in it, and he said it was mixed beef and veal, while he was getting the bill, I asked the chef who was cutting the döner, he said it was mixed beef and turkey, unfortunately it was not nice at all to offer a portion of mixed turkey meat for 17 euros and then serve İskender.

One of the best restaurant visits in recent times. Great service, extensive menu. Not too expensive.

We had a grilled platter and an İskender. The meat from the grilled platter was still raw inside. The İskender was so bad, Alexander the Great would turn in his grave. The service was unfriendly; I didn't receive a welcome or a hello, and I was yelled at when I ordered. Conclusion: Never again...

It's one of the few places in Germany where you can find the Turkish flavors you've been craving! With both the warm welcome and the delicious food, I felt right at home. From lahmacun and kebab to appetizers and desserts, everything was fresh and delicious. The service was fast, and the staff was attentive and friendly. My son came home from you in the evening and his condition was very bad. He had a stomach ache. The bread and other things you gave me were stale. We almost called the emergency room, it was that bad. I do not recommend it at all.

I've been a customer here for over 10 years, and every time I'm surprised by the Turkish cuisine. In my opinion, it's the best restaurant in Germany with a rich history. The street is known throughout Germany, and Harput makes it very special. You can eat without worry; it's hygienic, and the staff are as hospitable as you'd expect from Turkish culture.

The food was spoiled. We all had to be hospitalized with severe poisoning. Two even had to undergo surgery for stomach perforation.

Worsef breakfast Ii ever had. Had to go to Hospital, and they found bacteria in it. Had a broken stomach from it and must have surgery. .

We used to really enjoy coming here; even when it was sometimes busy, the food always made up for it. Unfortunately, my last two visits left a different impression. The staff seemed overwhelmed by the crowds, and the service suffered as a result. There were no glasses at our table, so we had to drink from the bottle. The salad didn't seem fresh, and the lahmacuns weren't very tasty—my homemade ones actually taste better. Overall, the restaurant has lost some of its former charm.

The food itself is good, and you get a generous portion that's definitely filling. The service was quick; we wanted to add something and had to wait a bit because the place was busy. The ambiance is also good, but it was busy during our visit, so overall, it's 4 out of 5 stars. The spreads are reasonable.

Today was our first visit to Harput. We really enjoyed it. All the dishes were delicious 😋 and the service was very friendly and attentive. It certainly won't be our last visit. We're already looking forward to the next time.

One of the best Turkish restaurants I’ve visited in Germany! The atmosphere is cozy, the space is clean, and the food is absolutely delicious – from the appetizers to the grilled meats, everything was spot on. Very good Turkish restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating...if you sit in the second row outside, the traffic is a bit annoying...we enjoyed the Turkish breakfast, which was very plentiful, delicious, and freshly prepared. The food was very good. I was there once during the week and once on the weekend. The service was much more attentive and quicker. We received a welcome drink from the house with the menu and a chai tea after our meal. At the weekend everything was a bit slower. You could tell it was a bit busier and we also received a welcome drink from the house. The food was very tasty, but the chai was missing at the end, that would have been the icing on the cake to give it a full 5 stars (you have to have something to complain about). Highly recommended if you like Turkish cuisine.

There was a problem with the presentation. The service was good. The employees were smiling but I have never seen a presentation of a skewer of liver on a large rice plate in my life. There was more rice than liver. Frankly, this is a general problem for restaurants in Germany. None of them care.

We ate at Harput Restaurant today, and it was simply fantastic! The food was delicious and fresh. We especially want to mention the waiter; he was incredibly kind, attentive, and warm. Best waiter ever!!! We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the vegetarian options aren't the restaurant's strong suit, and the salad was a bit dry. They try to compensate for this with various sauces, but there's still room for improvement. Disappointing. 6/8 dishes where served cold.. The bread served at started was really good, but the food was just ok. Salat served with food was also not good.

The food was great. I would even say the portions were too big! We were with a big group and they managed it very well.

Unfortunately disappointing – it used to be better This place used to be one of our favorite restaurants, but unfortunately, our last visit was truly the last. The doner kebab was completely inedible – just gristle and fat, no trace of good meat. The rest of the food was also far from the usual quality. The price came to just under €50 for 1 dürüm, 1 doner kebab, 1 children's doner kebab, 1 ham si plate, and three drinks – absolutely not justified for what was offered. It's a shame about what was once such a good restaurant. Hopefully, they'll soon rethink their approach to quality and value for money.

The ambience and atmosphere is amazing. You will love it, great steak, cooked to perfection. Save space for the salad and Naan bread they give for side. You will love it. Parking is hard but there is a parking garage just a block away.

I ordered tripe soup, but unfortunately, it's not as tasty as it used to be. I also ordered an Adana kebab plate; unfortunately, the portions have also become significantly smaller, comparable to a child's plate. You don't even get full. It's unfortunate that Harput's quality has declined.

We bought döner, Adana kebab and lamb shish. The price-quality balance was not bad. However, the appetizers served before the meal were not appetizers but "doner sauce". If these sauces were replaced with spicy paste, yogurt appetizer, carrot appetizer etc., it would be much better. The hot lavash was served very good. Halka dessert was served as a treat, it was quite good.

5 stars! A real highlight! The Turkish breakfast was simply fantastic – lovingly prepared, great selection and everything incredibly fresh. The different cheeses, olives, simit, menemen and of course the tea - like a short vacation in Turkey! Plus a cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. I'll definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!

Paid €17.90 for 1 lahmacun dürüm and it was dry and not tasty. I can't recommend it, the one in Wiesbaden is 100x better

We actually wanted to go to another Turkish restaurant, but somehow ended up in Harput, maybe because it was relatively full there and we thought it must be good. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table. As a starter we were given free flatbread and three different dips. We ordered 2 dishes which were very tasty and plentiful. For dessert there was black tea and pastries, also free. We would definitely come here again.

Just an absolutely authentic Anatolian restaurant!!! Had a lentil soup that simply tasted like home, and a pide (dough boat) with spinach, kashkaval and egg that was second to none! Absolutely suitable for families, large groups and individuals! I just loved the food, the service and the ambience! And the five of us ate heartily and only paid 75 euros! Highly recommended!!!

Unfortunately, it has diminished significantly. 1. Basmati rice? Why ? 2. I ordered mildly spiced (Urfa) and got strongly spiced (Adana). 3. The staff 😂🥱 looks at you ignorantly when you ask for the toilet. 4. The staff 😜 Men and families rude BUT. When a woman has little on: good service. If not: A dab of butter on the bread. The neighboring table has little material, a lot of skin, bread that shines like butter. 80 euros that I get better somewhere else... CONCLUSION: NEVER AGAIN.

We had dinner at the Harput Restaurant in Wiesbaden and were overall very satisfied. The food was really very good - fresh, tasty and well seasoned. What's particularly nice is that at the end you get free tea and lokma (small sweet dough balls) - a great gesture! The service was friendly, even though the team was busy that evening. Nevertheless, one was not forgotten. The ambience seems a bit old-fashioned, especially the furniture is clearly showing its age - but everything was clean and tidy. There is a small minus point for the parking situation, as there are no dedicated parking spaces. Overall, a recommendable restaurant with delicious cuisine and a warm ending!

The food used to be better. The waiter wanted to rip us off. He charged us an additional €8. When we realized the mistake, we went back to confront him. It was said that eating in the restaurant itself is more expensive than taking away. We won't be coming back.

Bad service, 3 different waiters, shown a seat 3 times, got up 3 times... Food didn't come exactly what I wanted, I was asked specifically, no sauce on the kebab, but still with sauce. Waiters are half deaf because of stress!!! No thanks!!!!!! It's no longer the old Harput it used to be. They are FULL!!!!!

Garlic sauce = garlic curry sauce (not a normal sauce) Lahmaccun becomes the Lahmaccun plate (unrolled). You should know all this when you come to the restaurant and order something. At first it doesn't sound terrible and the rating is harsh, but you as a customer were expected to know that. I mean that every kebab restaurant I know maintains a certain standard and if you don't then make it obvious or create a NEW name for it. But then, as a customer, I get insulted by the cashier (first human contact) because I didn't know and he sacrificed 4 lahmaccun for it (which is of course an exaggeration and a lie, since the people took the ingredients from the plate and angrily rolled them into a lahmaccun). I can only say thank you to the old gentlemen who stand up for the customers. Otherwise the situation is a disgrace for the catering industry and a restaurant in the industry. I will never visit the store again.

Hähnchen Grillteller - 20,00 € (Mixed Chicken Grill) 6: Katmer mit Eis - 7,00 € 7: Künefe (extra Dondurma) 7,00 € 8: Wasser still 1,5 liter - 6,00 € 9: Coca Cola - 3,00 € 10: Speisen diverse - 9,00 € The desserts were a big highlight of the day and god it was soo fulfilling and satisfying Im sorry i do not have the English translation of the items but it was the best food

Very, very good Turkish cuisine

Iftar food: We ordered as usual from the waiter, and later two other waiters came to our table and brought us all soup WITHOUT us having ordered it. I thought it was because of hospitality or because it was Ramadan. Unfortunately, when we paid, we discovered that every soup was added to the bill. That wasn't customer-friendly because we weren't asked and we didn't order it. We were sadly disappointed.

When I still lived in Wiesbaden, the Harput Restaurant was my absolute favorite for a delicious kebab! This is simply one of the best kebabs in the city - juicy meat, fresh ingredients and super delicious sauces. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is always friendly. An absolute must for every kebab lover!

I was at Harput's at the weekend, eating with my family. We sat down in a free spot outside. Everything was fine until we got our food and ate it. The shop is greedy because when we paid and wanted to drink our tea. We were pressured to leave because new customers were there and wanted to break their fast and the table was reserved. That's really disrespectful. The store basically made money with us, it's not possible to reserve an occupied table. If that is the case, we should have communicated beforehand. Can't recommend the store at all, there are much better ones
