I like coming here – the service is quick and friendly, the quality is good, the value for money is good, and the food is freshly prepared.

We came here for a lunch, based on the super reviews, and we were not dissapointed. The food was great, and very big portion, especially for the price! The complimentray small things made the experience great as well such as tea, and flandbrot with dipping. highly reccomended , great experience.

The food is very good. The service is very friendly and you immediately feel at home. Alcoholic beverages are not served here, which is certainly a plus.

5 stars! A real highlight! The Turkish breakfast was simply fantastic – lovingly prepared, great selection and everything incredibly fresh. The different cheeses, olives, simit, menemen and of course the tea - like a short vacation in Turkey! Plus a cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. I'll definitely be back. Absolutely recommended!

Paid €17.90 for 1 lahmacun dürüm and it was dry and not tasty. I can't recommend it, the one in Wiesbaden is 100x better

We actually wanted to go to another Turkish restaurant, but somehow ended up in Harput, maybe because it was relatively full there and we thought it must be good. We were greeted warmly and shown to a table. As a starter we were given free flatbread and three different dips. We ordered 2 dishes which were very tasty and plentiful. For dessert there was black tea and pastries, also free. We would definitely come here again.

This restaurant always impresses my family, tastes great and is very good price, you get good grilled meat which is irresistible, delicious sauces, bread & dessert + tea are available for free and bread, salad etc. are refilled upon request. Definitely recommended if you want to pamper yourself.

Just an absolutely authentic Anatolian restaurant!!! Had a lentil soup that simply tasted like home, and a pide (dough boat) with spinach, kashkaval and egg that was second to none! Absolutely suitable for families, large groups and individuals! I just loved the food, the service and the ambience! And the five of us ate heartily and only paid 75 euros! Highly recommended!!!

Unfortunately, it has diminished significantly. 1. Basmati rice? Why ? 2. I ordered mildly spiced (Urfa) and got strongly spiced (Adana). 3. The staff 😂🥱 looks at you ignorantly when you ask for the toilet. 4. The staff 😜 Men and families rude BUT. When a woman has little on: good service. If not: A dab of butter on the bread. The neighboring table has little material, a lot of skin, bread that shines like butter. 80 euros that I get better somewhere else... CONCLUSION: NEVER AGAIN.

The food, pita, open ayran... everything is fresh. Prices are affordable. Paid indoor parking is available nearby. Suitable for families.

We had dinner at the Harput Restaurant in Wiesbaden and were overall very satisfied. The food was really very good - fresh, tasty and well seasoned. What's particularly nice is that at the end you get free tea and lokma (small sweet dough balls) - a great gesture! The service was friendly, even though the team was busy that evening. Nevertheless, one was not forgotten. The ambience seems a bit old-fashioned, especially the furniture is clearly showing its age - but everything was clean and tidy. There is a small minus point for the parking situation, as there are no dedicated parking spaces. Overall, a recommendable restaurant with delicious cuisine and a warm ending!

The food used to be better. The waiter wanted to rip us off. He charged us an additional €8. When we realized the mistake, we went back to confront him. It was said that eating in the restaurant itself is more expensive than taking away. We won't be coming back.

Bad service, 3 different waiters, shown a seat 3 times, got up 3 times... Food didn't come exactly what I wanted, I was asked specifically, no sauce on the kebab, but still with sauce. Waiters are half deaf because of stress!!! No thanks!!!!!! It's no longer the old Harput it used to be. They are FULL!!!!!

Garlic sauce = garlic curry sauce (not a normal sauce) Lahmaccun becomes the Lahmaccun plate (unrolled). You should know all this when you come to the restaurant and order something. At first it doesn't sound terrible and the rating is harsh, but you as a customer were expected to know that. I mean that every kebab restaurant I know maintains a certain standard and if you don't then make it obvious or create a NEW name for it. But then, as a customer, I get insulted by the cashier (first human contact) because I didn't know and he sacrificed 4 lahmaccun for it (which is of course an exaggeration and a lie, since the people took the ingredients from the plate and angrily rolled them into a lahmaccun). I can only say thank you to the old gentlemen who stand up for the customers. Otherwise the situation is a disgrace for the catering industry and a restaurant in the industry. I will never visit the store again.

Hähnchen Grillteller - 20,00 € (Mixed Chicken Grill) 6: Katmer mit Eis - 7,00 € 7: Künefe (extra Dondurma) 7,00 € 8: Wasser still 1,5 liter - 6,00 € 9: Coca Cola - 3,00 € 10: Speisen diverse - 9,00 € The desserts were a big highlight of the day and god it was soo fulfilling and satisfying Im sorry i do not have the English translation of the items but it was the best food

Very, very good Turkish cuisine

Iftar food: We ordered as usual from the waiter, and later two other waiters came to our table and brought us all soup WITHOUT us having ordered it. I thought it was because of hospitality or because it was Ramadan. Unfortunately, when we paid, we discovered that every soup was added to the bill. That wasn't customer-friendly because we weren't asked and we didn't order it. We were sadly disappointed.

I've been going there for years and I'm always satisfied. I've tried other restaurants too, but no one can beat Harput. The food is very good, the service is perfect and the ambiance is comfortable. I highly recommend it.

When I still lived in Wiesbaden, the Harput Restaurant was my absolute favorite for a delicious kebab! This is simply one of the best kebabs in the city - juicy meat, fresh ingredients and super delicious sauces. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is always friendly. An absolute must for every kebab lover!

I was at Harput's at the weekend, eating with my family. We sat down in a free spot outside. Everything was fine until we got our food and ate it. The shop is greedy because when we paid and wanted to drink our tea. We were pressured to leave because new customers were there and wanted to break their fast and the table was reserved. That's really disrespectful. The store basically made money with us, it's not possible to reserve an occupied table. If that is the case, we should have communicated beforehand. Can't recommend the store at all, there are much better ones

The lentil soup was good, but the mixed starter plate didn't seem fresh. The ingredients were at refrigerator temperature, and both the person sitting next to me and I had the impression that the food had been prepared hours or even a day in advance. The grape leaf in particular no longer tasted completely fresh. The main courses were okay, but nothing special in terms of taste. I've eaten much better in other restaurants in the same category in the area. The ayran was probably homemade and had a natural taste, which I liked. The service was good - always attentive but not intrusive, and the staff were friendly. Nevertheless, I will not visit the restaurant again.

We ate our food with pleasure. The sauces were very good. The treatment of the employees was also very good. However, it would have been better if there hadn't been rice as a side dish with the Adana Kebab. The taste of the meat was great. I'm thinking about going again.

I went to this store because of the numerous positive reviews. I have to be honest and say that I didn't like it at all. I ordered Yogurtlu Kebab. The meat was terrible, no taste at all and very tough. The salad that came with it wasn't good either. The sauce for the salad didn't taste good at all, it was probably a ready-made sauce. Everything overall very artificial and without passion. What tasted good was the rice, but you can't go wrong with it. Maybe the store should focus more on quality instead of quantity. A classic mass processing. In short, not recommended at all!

There was a lot going on here and it was correspondingly loud. But that wasn't a problem, we felt very comfortable and will come back... Clear recommendation if you like Turkish food

The two of us were there last night. First of all, we were sent back and forth because there wasn't really any space in the store. We then got a seat and then had to take a card ourselves because the waiter didn't pay any attention to us at all. At some point after about half an hour the waiter came to us and took the order. We ordered two grilled dishes and some drinks. After less than 10 minutes the dishes arrived. We immediately noticed that the food was already cold. The mixed grill plate didn't have what was on the menu either. Not even a little warm. The food didn't taste particularly good either. After eating we wanted the bill, which again took a long time. We paid and the waiter turned around and left without saying thank you or anything. In any case, I would never go there again, even if the food was tasty, as the service was subpar.

The service was zero, the food was not good either, it is not the old Harput, we used to go there all the time to eat, today is the first and last time.

I had an exceptional experience in this restaurant yesterday! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. The food was simply incredible, every dish a true masterpiece. Everyone in my group was extremely happy and we enjoyed every moment. I would especially like to thank you for the delicious surprise at the end that you offered me on the occasion of my birthday. I honestly can't understand all the positive reviews. They didn't seem justified to me. Of course taste is subjective but overall my experience was rather disappointing. I would rate the food 2 out of 5 points. The starter dips in particular were a disappointment. They were more reminiscent of a mixture of curry ketchup and mayo. The service was fine and nice. Unfortunately there was no tea, which is available according to the menu. We were told that it was not possible to serve tea on weekends due to busyness. For us the visit wasn't worth it. The parking options in the area were also really a 1/5.

Update January 2025: I visited Harput again after 2021 and this time I definitely decided not to enter this store again. I ordered Beyti. I could only eat a few pieces because the meat was full of cartilage. Although this was communicated to the waiter, my request was only laughed at. I left the store hungry with €25 less, never to be seen again. Actually, they don't even deserve one star. We were at Harput's on August 7th, 2021 around 7 p.m., 2 adults and 2 children. From today (Saturday!) it was suddenly either proof of vaccination or a negative test. Since we are not from Wiesbaden, we thought it was a new regulation. But later we realized that we were being treated harshly. I have never experienced such audacity and impudence.

After a city tour, we treated ourselves to something there and I have to say, we have rarely eaten such a kebab meat and everything else we were served on the plate tasted great. Portions were just right for a full-grown man and the service was really attentive and was always there when you needed something new. I really recommend this location to anyone who wants to eat good food. In my opinion, prices were a bit high but maybe that was normal in that place🤷🏻‍♂️ Unfortunately, the tables were lined up too close together. So, ambience badly everything else perfect👍

A very nice restaurant that I would like to give 5 stars, but I have to complain that the quality is unfortunately not consistent. Sometimes the meat skewer is as dry as sand, the bread is baked far too short or too cold, and the portion sizes vary depending on the chef's mood. Qualität hat sehr, sehr abgenommen. In 2024 mehrfach besucht, immer mittelmäßig bis mangelhaft (z.B. Hähnchenflügel innen Nähe Knochen noch roh). Leider werde ich nicht mehr bei Harput essen.

I got a chicken skewer dürüm 10 minutes ago I've never eaten something so disgusting before. Dried bread is like chewing gum, so I'll never go into the store for 8 euros for something like that again and the chicken doesn't taste the same dried out

Super delicious food and super nice staff. Requests are addressed immediately. Atmosphere relaxed/familiar and pleasant. I was there with my children and they immediately felt at home.

I was here 10 years ago and today I tried to try it again but the food really doesn't taste good at all, it's cold, over salted, And the staff is very unfriendly, the older waiter ignores you and doesn't respond to the guests' wishes. Harput was once one of the best restaurants in Wiesbaden, but the quality has been declining for a long time. You have enough customers, maybe that's the reason. Prices have increased and the quality has simply become worse. Burnt künefe is served without any problems because you want to get rid of the customer quickly. Or how should one understand that? I hope we treat our customers more consciously and respectfully in the future.

The first thing I would like to note is that the chef does not wear any gloves when handling the meat. Meat is not through and tough like a rubber sole! The chicken has a bland aftertaste. It used to be much better, it has definitely slowed down. The price for a cutlet, 2 half-raw meatballs, 3 tough pieces of meat and 4 chicken wings at 24 euros is really tough. Unfortunately the food now goes into the organic waste bin.

Worth 6 stars! Following my friend's recommendation, which was somewhat exaggerated for me, I went to the restaurant here with him last night. What can I say about Harpu? We arrived and were shown a seat very friendly. The menu really has a lot to choose from and we didn't have to wait 2 minutes until we got free bread and dip at our table, which was also extremely good and we even got a second portion. The food itself is really a taste explosion! I have never eaten such good Turkish food in my life. At the end there is black tea and sweet pastries. All of this for less than €20. As soon as I'm near Wiesbaden, I'll come back here!

This is a great place. We have been coming here for years. For various reasons we haven’t been for a couple of years though. Now that we have made it back it is nice to be reminded how good it is. One sign (to me) of a good place is consistency. This place produces consistently good food. And in my experience all the best Turkish places give you some bread with salad and sauces to start with. This is one of those places. We were even asked if we wanted more bread. This is new. We couldn’t accept as we knew that we would be too full from what we got at the start and our meal. This is one place that many people I have spoken to in the area know about, and they always have god things to say about it, so it isn’t just me.
