Harput Restaurant in Wiesbaden

Harput was once one of the best restaurants in Wiesbaden, but the quality has been declining for a long time. You have enough customers, maybe that's the reason. Prices have increased and the quality has simply become worse. Burnt künefe is served without any problems because you want to get rid of the customer quickly. Or how should one understand that? I hope we treat our customers more consciously and respectfully in the future.

Very unfriendly and the prices are just a disgrace for the service. Harput has a good reputation and the customers are why business is good. Unfortunately, the service and performance at night have not been improved.

Always fresh, plentiful and tastes excellent. Very attractively priced like everywhere else.

Very dissatisfied with the service. Food didn't taste good. Dessert salad was very old. Bread wasn't fresh.

The first thing I would like to note is that the chef does not wear any gloves when handling the meat. Meat is not through and tough like a rubber sole! The chicken has a bland aftertaste. It used to be a lot better, it's definitely slowed down. The price for a cutlet, 2 half-raw meatballs, 3 tough pieces of meat and 4 chicken wings at 24 euros is really tough. Unfortunately the food now goes into the organic waste bin.

Worth 6 stars! Following my friend's recommendation, which was somewhat exaggerated for me, I went to the restaurant here with him last night. What can I say about Harpu? We arrived and were shown a seat very friendly. The menu really has a lot to choose from and we didn't have to wait 2 minutes until we got free bread and dip at our table, which was also extremely good and we even got a second portion. The food itself is really a taste explosion! I have never eaten such good Turkish food in my life. At the end there is black tea and sweet pastries. All of this for less than €20. As soon as I'm near Wiesbaden, I'll come back here!

This is a great place. We have been coming here for years. For various reasons we haven’t been for a couple of years though. Now that we have made it back it is nice to be reminded how good it is. One sign (to me) of a good place is consistency. This place produces consistently good food. And in my experience all the best Turkish places give you some bread with salad and sauces to start with. This is one of those places. We were even asked if we wanted more bread. This is new. We couldn’t accept as we knew that we would be too full from what we got at the start and our meal. This is one place that many people I have spoken to in the area know about, and they always have god things to say about it, so it isn’t just me.

Great breakfast buffet, which at first seems expensive at 15 euros. But if you then see the selection of many delicious and fresh dishes, the price is absolutely reasonable. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating. The ambience is also okay, a bit too crowded for my taste, but understandable given the high number of guests. The only negative point: the only toilet where you sometimes have to wait in line. Otherwise, absolutely recommended location!

One of my favorite places that has not compromised its quality for years. It is recommended if you want to eat a nice kebab and not encounter any bad surprises. It is also one of the rare places that know how to make tea. As you know, tea is our red line.

Harput is me and my wife's regular restaurant. Not only does the food taste fabulous, but the service is also fabulous. With a great location on Wellritzstraße, but also with good public transport connections, it's great to get there. You can easily park in one of the parking garages in the area. I personally recommend the Mantı. A traditional version of Turkish dumplings.

Having good and delicious food, but the toilets were very dirty, there was no place for children to change their diapers

I am very disappointed with Harput and unfortunately I can no longer recommend it to anyone. I had dinner there again today with a friend who had been having diarrhea all day and I had a stomach ache and had to throw up at home.

I always went there with my family because everything was right, but when it came to the dishes, the food was getting worse, I ordered a grilled plate and a lahmacun, meat skewer was like the sole of a shoe, well that can happen, but the cutlet was the same, the marinade It tasted artificial, oregano and salt would have been enough. I was happy about Lahmacun but unfortunately it was also very disappointing. We pointed this out to the waiter and he didn't include the grill plate. It's a shame but I don't think I'll eat there again. I didn't like the view outside.

I am thrilled with this restaurant, something very special happened when I had no money to buy food. I was offered a (as ALWAYS) very tasty dish by the restaurant Harput, I was allowed to choose WHAT I wanted to eat and WHERE! !!Amazing service, as if I had tipped 100 euros... and I hadn't even paid for the dish myself... I was ashamed, but the friendly and natural way in which I was served really touched me Very something to think about....hey you GERMANS!!! Since you or many of you always reduce yourself to your origins, then ALL Germans can do a huge job when it comes to compassion and human dignity.....highs up to deal with people in need in the Arab or southern way!! Thank you so much for that

I have to say that the restaurant has gone down a lot. The appetizers you get for free, which is very generous. Unfortunately it doesn't taste good anymore. In traditional Turkish cuisine, dips with mayo are not served. Not even ketchup. It's a shame that everything was changed in taste. The meat was too tough for me and had a high fat content. Salad dressing was also just sweet. The flatbread is still good.

I love this restaurant, the food is so delicious. Everything is made with heart, as if I were with my family in the country, where everything tastes best 🏡 The paintings and interior decoration are beautiful, and there is beautiful traditional Turkish music playing in the background. Plus tea and sweets as a bonus. Great place, very nice people, I will go back there often 😌

For me, there is the best kebab here in all of Wiesbaden, and I would even say in some cases in the entire Rhine Main area. In some cases the service could be a bit friendlier, but to be honest the guys work hard. But do me a favor and repair the legs of the tables outside, some of them are full of wobbly tables. Keep it up

Very good traditional restaurant…. First of all, as a greeting from the kitchen, there was delicious fresh pide with 3 dips (yoghurt, garlic and spicy). After the meal, a great tea. Service friendly and quick... Food perfect! Price is clear...

Always happy! Turkish food as I imagine it. Hospitality as if you were on holiday, you are appreciated and served very friendly, the meat is very fresh and always delicious. Bread in advance with dip very very tasty! Ayran fresh and homemade, great. I really like eating the plate with 4 cooked chicken legs, with either rice or fries. The meat tastes incredibly delicious, freshly grilled. You should definitely try this! But the rest is also impressive: Since I couldn't decide, I ordered a plate with chicken thighs, chicken skewers, meatballs and lamb chops. Everything was very tasty, freshly grilled and left nothing to be desired. We will be back!

We've known Harput since 1991, since it opened. The food is incredibly tasty and nothing has changed in taste or quality over the years. We were thrilled when we were there today after a very long time. The service is also very friendly and quick. At the end there was tea on the house and a sweet. Nice and cool Turkish restaurant in Wiesbaden. Halal and delicious.

Unfortunately, smoking areas are not separated here. As a non-smoker, you should be able to enjoy your food outdoors without constant smoke coming from the side. We specifically sat away and then the next group of smokers came to the table next door. There's always smoke inside anyway, and the smoke afterwards. Only one parent with a child doesn't seem to be the desired guests here, as after 20 minutes of waiting, even though the waiter had seen us and kept running in and out, we still weren't even greeted. Otherwise I don't know it that way. Finally I put my little one off and went to eat somewhere else.

The food was generous, delicious meat was as tender as butter and always a pleasure. We had mixed grill plate and Beyti. Eggplant paste can only be recommended as a starter with the freshly baked flatbread and the sauces for dipping are simply delicious for everyone - this gesture alone to have something to dip before eating is really good. The tea on the house with a lokma ball full of sweet, nice ending. Waiter top, especially the older gentleman in civilian clothes was really sweet and friendly. The only drawback that bothered me personally was that it was a bit noisy because it was busy. Otherwise everything is great overall. I'll be going back soon.

The tripe soup is very good, it also includes head and trotter meat, the consistency is great, the tandir bread that comes with it is fresh and hot, it is only difficult to sit when it is busy and the staff is a bit slow. If you want to feel like you are in your hometown, definitely visit this place.

The food is very tasty, the staff is not always very friendly. Unfortunately, the restaurant is often extremely busy and stressful, which makes eating there not particularly pleasant.

Very rude, I wanted to order food and you don't even ask for the address, name or anything else and just hangs up.

I actually know Harput as very friendly and great service, but now I don't even think of it anymore. We waited over an hour for our food. We asked for a blanket because we were outside, unfortunately they said there weren't any left, but 10 minutes later "a fellow countryman" asked and blankets came straight away, which is very rude. Food was okay.

The food in the restaurant is OK, but the service is absolutely unbearable. The service leaves a lot to be desired and made my visit very disappointing.

Great authentic Turkish food, friendly staff and amazing value. Food is fresh and so much of it it is hard to finish, you can tell all the locals eat here. Had a great time especially in the warm evenings with the outside seating.

Very delicious, friendly staff. The plates are very plentiful compared to other Turkish restaurants. I think the pilaf was basmati. So delicious . The appetizer salad and especially the buttered lavash bread are wonderful. The staff who took care of us wanted to bring a second sweet treat, but we were already full, so thank you for this treat. We left very satisfied with this place we stopped by. Be sure to try their desserts 🌸 (I didn't have the patience to take the first version of the plate 😅)
