Istanbul Restaurant in Wiesbaden

Heute bestellte ich einen Beyti-Kebab, bekam aber stattdessen einen einfachen Adana-Kebab-Spieß mit Reis, Salat und Knoblauchjoghurt. Dafür verlangten sie über 20 Rupien. Die Qualität war miserabel; weit unter meinen Erwartungen. Ich werde dort nie wieder bestellen.

Ausgezeichneter Döner! Leckeres Fleisch, frische Zutaten, großzügige Portionen und ein sehr freundlicher Service. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Das Essen war absolut ungenießbar, man hat mich förmlich verhöhnt. Ich hatte gefüllte Weinblätter bestellt, bekam aber die Sorte aus dem Supermarkt für zwei Euro. Ich zahlte sechs Euro für nur fünf Stück, und sie schmeckten scheußlich. Die Sauberkeit ließ ebenfalls zu wünschen übrig; das Geschirr war alles andere als sauber.

Mir wurden 2,50 € für türkischen Tee berechnet, nachdem ich die Lammkoteletts bestellt hatte. Es gibt andere türkische Restaurants in der Stadt, die ich ausprobieren werde. Ich gab ihnen noch eine Chance und sagte fünfmal, dass wir den kostenlosen Tee wollten. Wieder wurden mir 2,50 € pro Tee berechnet, bis ich sie bat, ihn zu stornieren. Außerdem kosteten die vier Lammkoteletts mit Reis und Salat vor zwei Jahren 22,90 € und jetzt 27,90 €. Absolut nicht wert. Ich werde nie wiederkommen. Für den Preis esse ich lieber Sushi oder grille so viel ich kann, ein paar Straßen weiter.

War heute dort und ich fand das Essen sehr schmackhaft. Service war freundlich und sehr gut organisiert. Bin rundherum sehr zufrieden und kann wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gutes Essen, immer frisch insbesondere auch der Salat :) Was den Lieferservice betrifft den ich gelegentlich nutze, meiner Meinung nach der leckerste Döner, Empfehlung wenn man es leicht scharf mag: Samurai Soße mitbestellen. Auch nett dass es hier im Restaurant Wein und Bier gibt wenn man denn mal Lust darauf hat

Das essen war okay, aber der Lieferant hat am mich am ende unfreundlich angefahren ich solle Ihm beim nächsten mal gegenkommen. Bei Lieferkosten von 2,50 € erwarte ich schon das bis an die Wohnungstür geliefert wird.

Schlechter Döner habe grade für 30 € gekauft also liefern lassen egal der dürum ist schlecht für ein klein Döner was 10 Euro ist doch ein Scherz nie wieder bestelle ich da Ekelhaft

Super Leckerer Döner. Man merkt, dass es frisches Fleisch ist und auch das Gemüse wirkt sehr frisch. Die Knoblauch Sauce war wirklich klasse. Mitarbeiter auch super freundlich und am Ende gab es auch noch einen Çay aufs Haus

Zwei große Döner mit extra Fleisch bestellt. Bekommen habe ich zwei Döner so große wie ein Brötchen. Und da für 23€ Hab ein Foto von gemacht, nie wieder bestelle ich dort was.

Das war der beste Adana-Kebab und der beste Grillteller, den ich je gegessen habe. Absolut empfehlenswert! Ich komme aus Hamm; es ist wirklich selten, einen Ort zu finden, der Schnelligkeit, Effizienz und Genuss so perfekt vereint.

Gestern wieder lecker im Istanbul Wiesbaden gegessen ! 😋 Dort gibt es gibt immer erst mal eine Vorspeise als Gruß aus der Küche. 👍 Hab auch zum ersten Mal das Tagesgericht bestellt. War ein super leckeres Gericht mit Hähnchen, Pilzen, Gemüse und dazu Reis. Danach werde ich jetzt öfter fragen, hatte das gestern erst auf der Speisekarte entdeckt ! 🍀

Allgemein super Essen. Und meiner Meinung nach (mit) der beste Döner der Stadt! Bin wöchentlicher Stammgast seit mehreren Jahren.

Keine Empfehlung nach 2 Stunden (1Stunde Wartezeit angekündigt) kam es Essen Pommes kalt und wabbelig Salat warm und das Dönerfleisch lau und alles in allem schlecht. Habe die Hälfe im Abfall.

Ich habe bei Lieferando bestellt. Der Lieferant hatte kein Wechselgeld dabei, behauptete dann, meine Rechnung sei gefälscht, und versuchte einfach, damit wegzugehen. Ich versuchte anzurufen, um das zu klären, wurde aber einfach abgewürgt. Das Essen war gut, aber am besten isst man es selbst.

Ich kann den Tee wärmstens empfehlen. Auch alles andere ist köstlich. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Wenn Sie Wiesbaden besuchen, sollten Sie dieses Restaurant unbedingt aufsuchen – der Service ist erstklassig, das Essen hervorragend und die Mitarbeiter sehr hilfsbereit. Meine Frau und ich sind direkt vom Hotel aus hineingegangen und haben uns die Döner-Dürrüm-Wraps geholt – sie waren köstlich! Zwar wird nur Bargeld akzeptiert, aber PayPal ist möglich. Mir wurde der Bezahlvorgang freundlich und unkompliziert erklärt, und es ging überhaupt nicht lange. Exzellenter Service und exzellentes Essen.

Leider sehr an Qualität verloren und bei Bestellungen nur die Hälfte angekommen.

Muslimische Gäste müssen auf die Nachfrage, ob das Steak halal sei, mit dubiosen Gegenfragen und Belehrungen rechnen. Letztendlich wurde behauptet, nirgendwo sei etwas halal. Islamische Rechtswissenschaft scheint hier wohl ein Fremdwort zu sein. Eine Enttäuschung für ein Restaurant, das sich Istanbul nennt.

Hab Pizza und Pide bestellt, liege jetzt seit gestern mit ner Lebensmittelvergiftung im Bett - nie wieder!!!

Bester Laden! Auf Holzkohle gegrilltes Fleisch, egal ob Lamm, Hühnchen oder Rind - ich war unzählige Male hier, es hat immer wahnsinnig gut geschmeckt! Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich.

Waren dort zum Essen - das dritte und letzte Mal. Auf die Frage ob es möglich ist, beim Dönerteller (Pommes, Fleisch, Salat, Soße) statt des Salats Gemüse zu bekommen verdrehte der Kellner die Augen, schüttelte vehement mit dem Kopf und fing in entsprechend aggressivem, genervten, unfreundlichen Ton an: „Ich kann hier nicht die ganze Karte auseinander nehmen, wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil, wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil, dann nimm doch einfach den Dönerteller mit allem, wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil, außerdem gibt es Gemüse extra zu bestellen, wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil!“ - danach fragte er, was ich genau haben will und empfiehlt mir wieder ein Gericht was viel mehr beinhaltet und wer lesen kann sei klar im Vorteil. Es ging mir nicht um sparen von Geld oder Vorteile haben. Aber der Dönerteller mit allem ist mir schon einmal zu viel gewesen und mir einfach nach warmem Gemüse statt nach kaltem Salat. Das extra zu bestellende Gemüse hatte ich nicht gesehen - wie auch wenn ich nicht lesen kann… Ein einfaches „Wir machen keine Extrawurst“ oder so ähnlich wäre völlig in Ordnung gewesen, statt so hart zu beleidigen. Ich wäre am liebsten sofort gegangen, bin aber weil mein Mann so Lust auf Döner hatte sitzengeblieben. Ich weiß nicht, ob den Kellner dann das schlichte Gewissen plagte…es gab dann plötzlich einen Brotkorb, nach dem Essen brachte er Tee und danach noch Baklava und gab an, es gehe aufs Haus. Mit so etwas kann man mich allerdings nicht mehr kaufen. Hätte er gesagt „war bisschen drüber vorhin, sorry“, dann wäre es in Ordnung gewesen aber so nicht. Genauso ging es dann zu Ende. Er sagte „Ok, bis dann“ und ich sagte, dass es kein bis dann gibt und statt da mal die beleidigte Leberwurst und den türkischen Stolz beiseite zu schieben und einfach ein guter Gastgeber zu sein kam ein erneutes „Ok bis dann“. Vielleicht leidet er auch einfach nur an Tourette und kann nichts dafür, alles zu wiederholen. Wir werden das nicht herausfinden.

Sie haben eine tolle Party veranstaltet! Wir waren eine Gruppe von etwa 40 bis 50 Personen und sie waren großartig.

Egal ob unter der Woche oder am Wochenende – ob um 20 Uhr abends oder um 3 Uhr morgens – hier wird man immer herzlich empfangen und bekommt richtig gutes Essen! 😋 Die Portionen sind groß, das Fleisch super saftig und würzig, und das Pide war einfach perfekt gebacken. Service wie immer sehr freundlich und nett – man fühlt sich einfach willkommen. 🤍 Man merkt, dass hier mit Liebe gekocht wird – echtes türkisches Essen wie in Istanbul! 🇹🇷 Und ja… der Hunger war natürlich wieder schneller als die Kamera 😅📸

The doner tastes very good, I can only recommend it

We were more than disappointed. We ordered by phone because unfortunately, it didn't work with Lieferando due to an error. 1. When I placed the order, it quickly stalled on the phone. I wanted to go over everything again with the delivery person because mistakes always happen with phone orders, but the person apparently didn't have time, which I understand. 2. The order arrived after 2 hours of calling the delivery person three times because the boss kept giving him a different address, and he was in every town but not here. 3. As expected, the food arrived ice cold!! Sorry, but I don't order food for cold soup and cold pizza. Disgusting. 3. Ayran today is September 26, 2025, and it expired on September 5, 2025!!!! Can't you even pay attention to something like that with dairy products? 4. They forgot to order extra garlic sauce and baklava 👍🏻 I'm beyond ANGRY!!! I hope the owner responds to this review. Sorry for so many errors in one order. I'd gladly spend almost 50 euros elsewhere. 👍🏻😡

We actually go to the Istanbul Restaurant in Wiesbaden quite often and have always been satisfied – the food was served quickly, was delicious, and the service was friendly. Unfortunately, we recently ordered takeout and were very disappointed. The food was stale, tasted inedible, and we had to throw it away. It's a real shame, as we've always enjoyed visiting the restaurant.

It is quite tasty and the staff treat you like a king and it is good

This was my second time at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was rather mediocre overall, and in my opinion, the prices don't reflect the quality offered. However, I would like to highlight the very friendly and attentive service—you feel like you're in good hands. One point for improvement: The pictures on the exterior walls create expectations that don't match what was ultimately served. For example, our mixed grill platter was missing the lamb chop, even though it was pictured in the photos. It would be helpful if the menu described exactly what to expect on the plate—so there are no misunderstandings. Overall, it was okay for me, but I personally expect a bit more quality and transparency regarding the pricing.

Authentic Turkish food, always really good here. But the service is even better. The same staff has been serving us here for years. Even with the busiest crowds, you're always taken care of.

The best restaurant in all of Wiesbaden! We come back every weekend, especially because of the very long opening hours and the exceptionally personal service the staff provides to customers! We definitely recommend it!

Best kebab shop in Wiesbaden. Unfortunately, kebab shops are popping up like mushrooms, so it's become difficult to keep track. My old kebab shops have all gone so bad, but thank goodness I found this one. This shop has been here in Wiesbaden forever. The kebab shop is simply amazing. The food is super high quality, including the grilled skewers with vegetables. Amazing. I only come here now. The only downside: only cash payments, no debit cards.

Unfortunately I was a bit disappointed. The falafel sandwiches have become significantly smaller and now cost more, which means the price-performance ratio is no longer right. The falafel balls tasteless and dry. The fries were too salty and too greasy. However, the friendly supplier and the fast delivery were positive. Overall, I'll prefer to make sandwiches myself in the future - I'm better at that anyway.

Standard Turkish fare. You can find similar around Wiesbadne but great if you're nearby or it's late. Only takes cash/PayPal, which can be inconvenient.

I ordered a kebab to take away here at dinner time (Iftar). The food was very good and according to my expectations. It went very quickly, unlike other stores, the employees were well coordinated and I didn't have to wait at all. I'd be happy to come back!

I ordered the food there and it was delivered quickly and on time. Crisp fresh salad with tender chicken and kebab with lots of meat in fresh bread, a little spicy as requested - great quality!

Unfortunately I would not recommend this restaurant. It seems as if a distinction is made here between customers and acquaintances. During our visit we did not receive an appetizer (bread with sauces for dipping), while other guests - who were apparently personally known to the waiter - received it without any problem. I found the prices of the food to be significantly too high. Compared to many other restaurants in the area, the dishes here are noticeably more expensive, without the quality justifying the price difference.

I have been a satisfied guest here several times. But the Lachmacun was just really rueful and there wasn't much in it.

A disappointing and unhygienic experience I entered the shop very hungry and in the mood for a kebab. There were two men and a woman behind the counter. The first impression was already sobering: one of the men wore the mask on his chin, the other ate with his fingers, and the woman was counting money over a bowl of rice at the deli counter. I took a deep breath and thought to myself, "You want a kebab now, so go for it." So I ordered: "Two kebabs please, with garlic sauce and spicy." The kebab man started preparing it, but my eyes kept wandering to the lady who was counting money over the rice. As I waited, I wondered what would happen if a coin fell into her rice bowl. Would she just take the money out with her fingers? Or replace the entire shell, as would be hygienically necessary? Then that's exactly what happened: a 2 euro piece fell into her rice. And what did she do? She just fished it out – with her hands! My appetite suddenly disappeared. The kebabs I ordered remained on site; I simply couldn't eat them anymore. The behavior of the staff is not only unhygienic, but inconsiderate and completely unacceptable. Doing this to food served to customers is inexcusable. I hope the relevant authorities take a closer look at this store.

I've never had to wait so long for my food. We had to pay €6 for the parking garage. Unnecessary extra costs. After more than half an hour, the waiter put us off, "Sorry, the grill is at full capacity today." We then waited another 30 minutes for the food. When we paid we were asked if everything was OK. The entirely justified comment that customers could be informed if a dish needed longer due to the busyness of the grill in order to have the opportunity to change their mind was not accepted. There was no discount for wasting time either. We weren't offered tea either. There is a lot to observe while you wait. For example, how waiter 1 drops a fork and places it on the counter. A little later, waiter two comes and rolls them and the knife into a napkin. I already had my cutlery, otherwise I would have left without comment.

This is the first and last time I order the pizza is completely white and doesn't smell because of the cheese so I threw it away before I get sick from it....

I will go there often, hope I have plenty of time

We ate lahmacun with kebab and pide with minced meat. I was incredibly excited about the lahmacun and the kebab inside; the consistency, crunchiness and taste of the pide were really fantastic. This was the tastiest kebab lahmacun and the best pide I ate in Wiesbaden.

It's a bit more expensive than next door, but it tastes better here and the service is also better.

Enjoy your meal. Especially the meat from the grill, which is fired up late into the night, is great. Regular customer.

I will never order from this restaurant again. I ordered two skewers, one without onions and lettuce and one with everything. They brought us a kebab with just meat and one with just onions. I usually order from this restaurant but this will be the last time. It also didn't taste good and I had to throw up. Never again

This is not a kebab shop, but a real restaurant and it is very inviting for a kebab! The prices are completely acceptable for this quantity. Doner pizza is very well topped and tastes excellent. 1 time and not again. Ordered 2 simple Dürüm, both of which arrived with the wrong filling. 90% salad 10% meat. By far the smallest Adana in all of Germany. Extreme greed for meat. It's a shame that the profit margin is put above the customer. Bread was good. The rest was disastrous. Tables extremely dirty. Not even with that Rag over it. No glasses or anything else. Employees were extremely confused, so that there were ultimately 3 sugar shakers on our table. Staff unfriendly. More expensive than all the well-known shops in the Wiesbaden area. No restaurant, more of a snack bar for all sorts of walk-in customers. Not a pleasant atmosphere and clientele.

The service was perfect; very polite workers. The waitresses were really nice. Food was great. Open at night, good spot to stop by while travelling. They speak Turkish. It is the right address where you can eat soup and plated doner in Europe, whose food is not overly salty.

For me it's still the best kebab in Wiesbaden. The other dishes in the house are also highly recommended. I've never had anything on my plate that wasn't right. It always tastes very clean and there have never been any stomach problems or a bad feeling after eating. The employees are always friendly. I can't say anything about the delivery service because I only eat there.
