A must-visit during our Allgäu vacation. As always, the food was top-notch, and everyone enjoyed it. From the soup, salad, fried potatoes, schnitzel, and delicious dessert – it was all fantastic. However, we strongly recommend calling ahead to reserve a table in case of bad weather.

We stopped at the Moorstüble today and will definitely do it again during our vacation! The atmosphere is quaint and cozy, and the waitress was very warm, friendly, and attentive. We (and she) felt very comfortable. The food was amazing! The portions are generous; we all ate our fill. We highly recommend the burgers, potato salad, goulash, and the vegan chocolate ice cream (a poem). We finished off with a coffee, which you can also get with oat milk upon request. In short: highly recommended!

Great overall concept! A truly beautiful place where you can also enjoy truly delicious food! A pleasant atmosphere, very friendly service, and absolutely fair value for money. We didn't go to the outdoor pool, but it looked very nice too.

What a quaint place! Unfortunately, we didn't get to try out the wonderful natural swimming pool today. However, we did enjoy a delicious meal (vegetable strudel with salad) and wonderfully refreshing drinks. We were served very friendly by the staff and the manager, and we felt very comfortable. If you're fooled by the name "Moorstüble am Naturfreibad" (Moorstüble at the Natural Outdoor Pool), you might initially expect a simple kiosk by the swimming pool – but you'd be wrong! This is actually a really good, cozy restaurant with a beer garden that offers much more culinary options than you'd expect. We were with a larger group and sat inside, even though the shady beer garden right next to the mud bath was very inviting. The ambiance is rustic, well-kept, and simply comfortable – both inside and outside. Particularly noteworthy: The service staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Without much fuss, a long table was quickly and helpfully arranged for our group so we could all sit together – something you can't take for granted these days. The menu offers classics of home-style cooking, and what's served is impressive. I had a schnitzel – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The beer selection is good, freshly tapped, and delicious. The highlight of the evening, however, was the dessert: a chocolate cake with a liquid center – a true dream and highly recommended! Conclusion: If you're in the area, don't let the name put you off. The Moorstüble isn't a kiosk, but a truly lovely restaurant with heart, quality, and genuine hospitality. Perfect for a relaxed visit with friends or family. I'll definitely be back!

Yes, a very rustic mud bath. I really like it. You can find peace and quiet if you're looking for it. It's only accessible on foot or by bike.

Wonderful restaurant by the natural outdoor pool. Great food and Zötler beer on tap...plus sunshine and cheerful service. They even serve a beer 5 minutes before closing...

We were here last summer, and it was fun. This time, we used the last day of our vacation (it was the third hot day after Pentecost) to relax, really "switch off," and enjoy the sun. Those who like it sunny have plenty of space on the lawn, and those who prefer the shade can find a spot almost anywhere. The kids have fun in the designated shallow area watching the water world, and the adults enjoy the remarkably safe water. The price for the obligatory fries is more than fair – the portion is so large and so good that it's almost painful not to finish them. We had a lovely day and will definitely come back next year. Awesome local restaurant with fresh ingredients, that modernizes the age old "Alp Food" concept with some twists. Also decent vegetarian options. Staff is super friendly as has worked there for ages already, so that must mean that they are a good employer too. Desserts rotate and change based on the season and there's always a little space to find for the "extra stomach". Has a beautiful beer garden for in the summer or when the sun is out in general. I recommend to reserve a table in advance if you want to eat in the evening. There are two slots available (17:00-19:00 and 19:00-??).

Such a cozy place. We arrived just in time, the oven was heated up and the food was delicious and the service was top notch. In addition, the toilet facilities were so lovingly prepared and clean. The tiles with the different cows are worth seeing.

Smaller dining room at the natural outdoor pool where you can eat very well in the evening, but you definitely have to make a reservation. Cozy Bavarian atmosphere with delicious Bavarian cuisine and a super nice service team.

On the terrace you will find a mega beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. There directly after a hike towards Gaisalpsee. The food was super tasty.

We went to Moorstüble for lunch today. The waitress welcomed us very nicely and served us quickly. The ambience of the Moorstüble is beautiful. The view of the mud bath and the Rubi in the background. A dream! I had the venison goulash with dumplings. It was wonderful. We would come back any time.

I think the Moorstüble and especially the Moorbad are beautiful. The situation about it. It's nice that there are still such natural and harmonious places. The mud bath is located in a beautiful moor meadow with the corresponding gentle subsoil.

After a lovely hike from Fischen (Oberallgäu) to Oberstdorf-Reichenbach, we stopped at the Moorstüble. The service was very nice and friendly. The meal we both had (Wiener-style schnitzel with fries and Swiss sausage salad) was very tasty and filling. The atmosphere around the Moorstüble is rustic and cozy.

The food was also very good there, but unfortunately we waited a little long for our food (45 minutes), but that was because it was so full there.

Great moor swimming pool, lots of shaded areas, not overcrowded, everything was very well maintained and clean. From the lifeguard to the service, very nice staff and very good hospitality with affordable prices.

Es war sehr schön mit dem kleinem Freibad sehr sehr nett. Hatten einen kleinen Hunger einmal Currywurst (klein) und Wurstsalat (mit einem extra Teller da wir ihn zu zweit gegessen haben) und eine Scheibe Brot extra da nur beim Wurstsalat nur eine dabei war ( etwas klein) und zwei Getränke hab ich 33,50€ bezahlt , mussten extra für den leeren Teller bezahle und für die zweite kleine Brotscheibe, was ich eigentlich unverschämt finde, bei uns hier bekommt man automatisch zwei Brotscheiben zum Wurstsalat. Es wirklich schön dort, aber essen werden wir hier nicht mehr.

The food is 'home-style', portions are ok. O., not necessarily recommended without a seat reservation indoors during the season, as the interior is 'very, very manageable'. The service is very good.... The ambience is there, but also limited, there is enough for food, but there is not a lot of coziness there. You can also sit in the beer garden, but it's right next to the mud bath...if you don't mind creatures on your legs/arms, then that's fine...

On warm summer days you can sit under the shady trees.

Stunning natural pool with flowing mountain water. No chemistry. The only water is a maximum of 23 degrees even in 30 degree heat. There is a children's pool and playground. There is a lifeguard at the pool. The kitchen is wonderful. The portions are incredibly large. The pricing policy is quite reasonable. You can bring your own food and drinks. Tables next to the pool.

Beautifully furnished Stüble, menu with regional ingredients, very tasty, friendly service, beer garden right next to the moor swimming pool when the weather is nice.

We had dinner in the Moorstüble with five people in the evening, where we were greeted very friendly. The nice young waitress served us very quickly and fulfilled every special request. We would especially recommend the schnitzel at any time. All in all, a nice little place to hang out. Thank you for the great evening!

We passed here by chance while on a hike. The menu is rather straightforward, but there is something for every taste. The schnitzel was excellently fried, served with homemade potato salad. Delicious. We also chose the porcini mushroom tortellini from the daily menu. What a great taste...The filling consisted of real pieces of porcini mushrooms, perfectly seasoned and topped with onions. Plus the very appealing portion size at a moderate price... wonderful! The wine selection is manageable, but here too we were very pleased with the selection. And the service was very friendly! We felt very comfortable, thank you very much for that!

The Moorstüble was recommended to us as guests of the Schittlerhaus. We ate there on 3 evenings and absolutely loved it. Small but fine menu, everything is freshly prepared and very tasty, large portions and still fair prices and super nice staff. We're just sad that we couldn't eat there a fourth time (but that was up to us). We would be happy to come back and can fully recommend the Moorstüble. If you look at all the most beautiful nature supported by freedom and an inner warm holiday feeling, you've come to the right place here in the Moorstuebel, especially the people who love and appreciate the rustic, normal and warm atmosphere! In 2022 it was my 70th birthday and we moved into an apartment in Schoellang with a very lovely family for several days! There was still snow and snowing every now and then, so everything was just right, just like stopping off at the Moorstuebel! At some point we will repeat this wonderful time again

Dieses Restaurant ist mit das allerbeste was es gibst die Umgebung das Essen!! Alles die Bedienung so nett ich finde es sollte 5 Ganze ⭐️ Haben. Als ich ein Steak bestellte kam es sehr schnell und ich konnte es so schön durch schneiden da es so zart war wie noch nie ein Steak war ich bin so überrascht wie gut ein Steak sein kann und der Geschmack erst recht so wie als würde ich ein Paradies im Mund haben ein wahres aromatisches Paradies ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen da nicht nur das Steak so lecker ist im Gegenteil alles ist lecker!!! Ich habe noch nie so gut gegessen danke fürs lesen und guten Appetit falls sie dort essen wollen 😊.

Optimaler Rastplatz für Wanderer. Durchgehend warme Küche. Schöner Biergarten mit toller Aussicht. Kleine, einfache und gute Karte.

Durch Zufall auf der Durchfahrt dort hin getroffen. Auf das Essen mussten wir etwas warten, aber es hat sich gelohnt, war gut. Auch der Ort an sich hat was. Uns hat es gefallen.

Einen Besuch wert. Die Forelle ist klasse.

Lage ist ganz schön und man kann nach dem Essen einen tollen Spaziergang mit herrlichem Blick machen. Parkplätze sehr eingeschränkt vorhanden. Man kann dort draußen im Biergarten oder drinnen sitzen. Essensauswahl nicht so groß und auch eher höher-preisig. Außerdem sollten Kinder eigentlich immer zuerst ihr Essen bekommen und nicht als letztes nach allen anderen.

Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung, ein Danke fürs Drinkgeld blieb auch aus , das Essen war nicht so gut , Pommes sehr fett, das Schnitzel aus der Fritteuse....
