We were checking out the mountains and came across this by chance. We had the best Bavarian food here, the duck and potato dumpling here is amazing!! I ate quite a few traditional German food and nothing comes close to this. This is place is for sure highly recommended and the scenary here is alsp gorgeous. We come all the way from Singapore and no regrets coming here!!

Today we went to the Moorhütte after a short hike. What can I say? It was fantastic. Great service and great food. It couldn't have been better.

We went to the Moorhütte for dinner. We were more than thrilled. The food was super tasty and well prepared. Great portions. Price performance is top. The staff was very friendly and fun, the whole dining room had fun and laughed together. We would come back at any time.

The Moorhütte in Oberjoch is a real insider tip and for me a place full of nostalgia and well-being. I enjoyed the mud bath there as a child, and now, years later, the magic of this place hasn't changed a bit. The hut exudes coziness and warmth, just as I remembered. The rustic ambience paired with warm hospitality makes every visit a highlight. The cuisine is excellent - regional specialties are prepared fresh and with a lot of love. The hearty dishes and homemade cakes in particular are simply delicious. The mud bath, which I loved as a child, still offers a soothing break for body and soul today. The effect of the natural moor is noticeable and ensures deep relaxation. The feeling of diving into the warm moor water after a long day in the mountains is simply incomparable. For me, the Moorhütte is not only a place to eat and relax, but also a piece of childhood memory that has remained alive. I can only warmly recommend anyone who comes to Oberjoch to stop here. Five stars are actually not enough for this wonderful place!

Nice excursion destination, stop after the moor tour, for example. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food, but the room was full on Monday lunchtime. Unfortunately, the outside seating and the interior (toilet including access stairs) are very outdated.

Unfortunately underground for allergy sufferers. We were harshly rejected even though I had received friendly, different information from another service person four weeks earlier. We then left and were insulted because we were angry. We then had a delicious meal somewhere else. It's a shame because the location is nice.

Located on the edge of the moor with a beautiful view

We once had Kaiserschmarrn (€14.50), a piece of cake and a cappuccino for a total of €22. All three were delicious and I was glad I shared it with my wife. We are both pleasantly full. Next door is a small moor bathing pond which was very refreshing. In the adjacent pasture were the beautiful Allgäu cows with little bells. Very idyllic to look at. Parking spaces cost €3 per day. Buses stop nearby.

Absolutely rude staff! When it was returned due to an insect in the vinegar (I'm vegan), another one was handed out with clear displeasure and clear annoyance and then the food distribution window was slammed shut in my face. Unbelievable!

Delicious cheese spaetzle! This hut is located on the German side of the Tannheimer Valley directly on the raised moor. The service is super friendly and the cheese spaetzle are some of the best I've eaten in the valley.

Too expensive in my opinion for the quality and self-service offered.

Food was very greasy and seemed to have been warmed up instead of freshly made. Fried potatoes were “old” and then almost fried again. Kaiserschmarrn was also very fatty and tasted like fried dough. Zero fluffy, no larger pieces but thin, crispy, far too sweet, greasy scraps of dough. Unfortunately that has nothing to do with nonsense... What a shame. It's nice to sit and there's plenty of parking space.

Very nice place to have a snack after a nice hike. The adjacent path through the raised moor invites you to take a walk.

Directly at the mud bath at Oberjoch. Self-service. There was definitely no cheese in the cheese spaetzle, and I also ate the sausage salad better.

After a long hike over the Iseler, we stopped there and had the best meal in a very long time. I had a burger that was one of the best I've ever tasted. Really great, keep it up👍🏻

It's pretty nice especially with the view of the mountains. The mud bath right next to it is really cool and nice, I can only recommend the food is also quite good 👍🏻

I would like to give 10 stars. I ate here with my son almost every day during our hospital stay. No matter which dish you chose, everything was fresh and super tasty. Absolutely worth the money. I would love to take this delicious cuisine home with me :) If I go on holiday here again, I will definitely come back. You have to eat here.

Location right on the B308, but not too loud and not busy during the week. Kaiserschmarrn was crispy but fried just right, not dry at all. Also with almond flakes like caramelized... Great!

We always enjoy going to the Moorhütte to eat. The service is extremely friendly and attentive! We love the great Kaiserschmarrn, but the Kässpatzen or the snack board are also very tasty...always nice!

Communication in advance was difficult. Ordering and delivery went quickly (it wasn't busy). I ate the following: Cottage pan - highly recommended (5 strips of meat loaf - a little bit) Homemade Kässspatzen - were good Schnitzel Viennese style - disappointing and not fresh Fries were 50% too hard (fork couldn't get through) or too dark Schnitzel very light and nothing special Side salad etc. everything is extra (you are asked if you want it but it is not mentioned that it costs something. With three beers ~70€

First of all - the best potatoes I've eaten in my life. The asparagus was so well, the pike perch was great, salad and cheese pätzle too. But I'm very critical when it comes to judging: the table was sticky and damp and hadn't been cleared when we sat down and wasn't wiped down either. The toilet doors in the basement are open and we paid €66 for two people, expensive in my opinion.

A restaurant that you can recommend because of the peace and quiet. The food is good, but in my opinion it is too expensive

Totally disappointing Kaiserschmarrn “homemade” is NOT “freshly made” I can't understand the other reviews. To me it seems like he's warmed up and to me he's really BAD. At first glance it looks good, but what I was served has absolutely NOTHING to do with a fluffy, delicious Kaiserschmarn. Warmed up caramelized mushy pancake would probably be more appropriate. Complaints are reflected in the service.

We went there because of the good reviews of the Kaiserschmarrn and were now very disappointed... it was probably homemade, the only question is when. I was surprised that the food was ready so quickly because, as we all know, Kaiserschmarrn takes quite a while to be on the table. After less than 10 minutes I had a large portion in front of me. Looked good too, caramelized and nicely presented. After the first bite, however, the joy was gone. Lukewarm and neither fluffy nor loose. I assume it has been kept warm for a long time. The service person didn't say anything about my complaint, really didn't say anything, just looked at me. I've actually never experienced such behavior before... What a shame

Best Kaiserschmarrn I've ever eaten. Absolute recommendation! Service was also super nice. If you love Kaiserschmarrn you should try it there!

We ate here with the family and it was very tasty. The hut pan is highly recommended. You also get 0.3l beer if you ask for it.

Very tasty ice cream! Even a relatively large selection. The price is not exactly cheap at €2.20 per scoop, but the portions are quite large!

The restaurant is very pretty and rustic. The food is very tasty and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend it to everyone.

On a sunny Friday afternoon, after a short walk through the snow along the Moor hiking circuit (approx. 25 minutes), we stopped for a beer in the outdoor area. Rustic and cozy directly opposite the ski lifts. Drank Allgäuer Büble beer and found it to be good 😋👍

Food was okay... service was okay.

Food quality and selection is standard. Portion size for this price level is on the lower level. Only one service was too few when the restaurant was almost full and therefore understandably short. Drink prices very high.

Wir waren heute zum ersten Mal seit drei Jahren wieder in der Moorhütte. Leider gibt es keine Musik mehr in bzw vor der Schirmbar. Bedienung unfreundlich, Essen okay. Apfelstrudel mit Sahne und Eis 9,90 € ist nicht mehr okay!

Gutes Essen, preislich nicht abgehoben. Wir hatten drei unterschiedliche Gerichte, alles sehr schmackhaft. Rustikales Ambiente, gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wer es rustikal, gemütlich und lecker mag, ist hier genau richtig.

Wir waren zufällig beim ersten Schnee vor Ort. Die urig eingerichtete Wirtschaft macht besonders viel Laune, wenn das Essen noch von dicken Schneeflocken, die am Fenster vorbeifliegen, begleitet wird. Leider war die Stube nicht sehr beheizt, so dass man nur mit Jacke sitzen könnte. Die Karte ist reduziert, aber ich denke, dass jeder fündig wird. Die Klassiker sind natürlich zu finden. Das Essen hat nicht lange auf sich warten lassen und war schmackhaft.

Haben nur was getrunken, das Essen sah aber gut aus das an uns vorbei getragen wurde.

alles Perfekt, sehr freundlicher Service, Essen reichlich und wirklich richtig gut. Waren jetzt 3x hier und es war immer der gleiche hohe Level. Danke an euer Team weiter so. Mal noch ein kleiner Punkt, wenn man scharfe Currywurst bestellt, bekommt man scharf, dann hier sich beschweren weil sie zu scharf ist! ist lächerlich. Den Rucksack vor der Tür abnehmen, dann hat man auch mehr Platz beim betreten der Gastronomie. Ich kenne die Wirtsleute nicht, sind meine eigenen Beobachtungen als Gast. Eine klare Empfehlung von mir.

Wir waren seit längerem wieder in der Moorhütte eingekehrt. Kulinarisch hat sich nichts verändert. Essen einfach super lecker, egal was auf den Tisch kam. Super Service, sehr freundlich, schnell, umsichtig. Einfach top. Die Moorhütte ist absolut zum empfehlen und einen Besuch wert. Eigener kostenloser Parkplatz (Herbst) vor der Hütte, grosser kostenpflichtiger Wanderparkplaz daneben. Ausgangspunkt für schöne Wanderungen, Schneeschuh-Skitouren, Skifahren ect., danach kulinarische Verwöhnzeit in der Moorhütte. Genusszeiten sind ausserhalb der Saison. In den Hauptsaisonen sollte man auch mal etwas Geduld mitbringen, da vorwiegend Selbstbedienung ist. Da kann es schon sein, dass man schon mal ein paar Minuten anstehen muss. Es wird aber wie überall, so schnell wie möglich gearbeitet. GRRF: Geduld, Rücksicht, Respekt und Freundlichkeit, sollten dabei nicht vergessen werden! Von uns ein großes Lob und Dank an die Gastronomie Moorhütte, möge sie uns noch lange erhalten bleiben. Wir kommen wieder. LG Caroline

Schöner Biergarten mit guter Aussicht. Essen ist gut. Der ort lädt auch zum Wandern ein. Gerne wieder.

Wurde nur im Biergarten als "Durstlöscher" nach dem Wandern genutzt! Innen sehr schön ausgestattet, aber leider keine Hunde gestattet - schade!

Netter Ort zum kurz Verweilen.... Naturpfad durch das Moor auch empfehlenswert.. Im Sommer kann man schön den vorbeifahrenden Mopeds nachschauen.... 🏍️🏍️

Der Kaiserschmarrn war hui, die Kässpätzle pfui. Die könnte ich zuhause deutlich besser zubereiten. Aber leckeres Bier, freundliches Personal und superschöne Aussicht

Wir sind immer wieder mal hier, es ist einfach und man kann gut entspannen

Perfekte Gelegenheit, um bei der Fahrt durch Bad Hindelang einzukehren. Denn die Moorhütte Oberjoch hat einen riesengroßen Parkplatz. Zünftiges Essen. Rustikale Einrichtung. Saubere Toiletten. Bedienung dauerte zwar ein bisschen, sie war aber wg der vielen Gäste voll auf zack.

Rast während einer Motorradtour. Informationsrundweg zum Beine vertreten oder ein kühles Bad im Moorbecken nehmen. Schöner Aussenbereich mit Glockengeläut der Jungkühe.

So vom Ambiente war es gut der Preis für eine Currywurst mit Pommes war nicht so gut der Service war in Ordnung.

Prima, wobei es sich für größere Gruppen, wie unsere vor kurzem, lohnt die Auswahl deutlich zu reduzieren um zu sorgen, dass alle schnell ihr Essen bekommen oder Geduld mitbringen. Das Essen an sich war OK und die Bedienung auch.

Gute Lage mit Blick auf die Berge. Großer Parkplatz davor. Urige Einrichtung und einige Plätze draußen. Selbstbedienung, OK, ist ja fast schon Standard. Essen war lecker. Tafelspitz mit Kartoffeln, Gemüse und Meerrettichsoße 16.90€. Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung. Die Zeiten als man ein Bier für 3€ bekommen hat sind halt leider vorbei...
