Moon Cuisine Weißensee in Berlin

Das Moon Cuisine ist ein vietnamesisches Restaurant am Antonplatz in Weißensee. Direkt gegenüber der Straßenbahnhaltestelle M13 und M12 und nur wenige Meter von der M4 entfernt, bietet es eine abwechslungsreiche und köstliche Auswahl an klassischen vietnamesischen Gerichten. Das Essen ist schmackhaft und sorgfältig zubereitet. Der Service wirkt jedoch etwas unpersönlich – keineswegs unhöflich, sondern einfach etwas distanziert. Man fühlt sich zwar nicht unwillkommen, aber die Atmosphäre ist dadurch nicht wirklich entspannt und gemütlich. Etwas mehr Aufmerksamkeit würde das Erlebnis deutlich verbessern. Das Ambiente ist insgesamt angenehm, die Musik allerdings etwas zu laut. Die Auswahl an amerikanischem Rock steht zudem im Kontrast zu der ansonsten authentischeren vietnamesischen Atmosphäre. Mit ein paar kleinen Verbesserungen könnte dieses Restaurant problemlos fünf Sterne verdienen.

Ziemlich cooles vietnamesisches Restaurant

Ich bin öfter vor Ort und bestelle immer Pho Ga (mit Maishühnchen). Ich mag die Suppe sehr, aber es guint Tage, da ist sie nicht ganz so schmackhaft wie sonst. Ich war aber immer zufrieden. Heute wsr die gar nicht gut, statt Fleisch fette Haut und Knorpel. Schade. Ich hoffe, dass das nur mal ein Ausrutscher war! Dieses kleine Restaurant ist meine einzige Anlaufstelle hier am Antonplatz😋

Kann sein dass der Pho-Standard in Berlin schon etwas hoch ist, aber die Suppe hier kann ich nicht empfehlen. Zu salzig und ohne echtes Aroma. Schmeckt für mich eher wie Brühwürfel. Vielleicht lieber was anderes bestellen

Besonders die vietnamesischen Klassiker sind hervorragend. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, das Ambiente gemütlich und stilvoll. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne. Absolute Empfehlung

The food was fantastic! A small but delicious menu. Service was a little slow, but very friendly. Unfortunately, the dining room is a bit worn. You sit on stools, and one window pane is broken and covered with plastic film. This makes the room cold, and sitting right by the window is very uncomfortable. However, the excellent food and delicious drinks make it well worth the trip!

The menu only gives a very rough idea of ​​what's available; there's not much information. Unfortunately, there was a lot of coriander in the food, which I wasn't aware of, and also a lot of pepper. I ordered rice noodles, and according to the menu, you could choose between boiled corn-fed chicken or seared beef or chicken. I ordered the seared chicken, but I received boiled corn-fed chicken in the noodle soup. It was like eating only gristle because it was so soft and had a strange chewing texture. I had to try not to chew and just swallow. According to a friend who lives a street away, they always use corn-fed chicken when they run out of regular chicken. I don't think it's right that this wasn't mentioned beforehand. The ambiance is very pretty and very clean. In typical Asian fashion, there are many little touches, like a bonsai tree made of wire loops on each table, but you can't see any dust on them, which is remarkable. I found the homemade soda with lime and mint very tasty. The seating is very cramped. You sit back-to-back with the other people. A woman behind me scratched her back, and consequently mine as well, because I then had her arm against mine. You sit on cute little stools with round doilies on them. There are three large, lovely paintings, and when it gets dark outside, the lanterns look so beautiful fluttering in the wind. The service was also very friendly and always close by, so you could order another soda.

I was satisfied. I recommend this restaurant.

The interior design and atmosphere are very deceptive. You're happy to put up with the storage-room atmosphere when the food is a 12/10. Truly top-notch in terms of flavor variety, presentation, and portion size.

The food here is delicious, the service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. We ordered two main courses, two non-alcoholic cocktails, and one appetizer for €40. The food is fresh, the portions are generous, and you'll definitely be full. The servers are attentive, and the food is of good quality. We were very satisfied.

The menu is somewhat unusually designed, and it takes a while to get your bearings. Others might find it easier. Cleanliness is lacking. Blowflies were observed inside and outside the restaurant, which is suspicious. The table surface was sticky. The poultry (duck and chicken) seemed undercooked. This may have caused both guests to get diarrhea. Card payments are not accepted, which is also suspicious.

The food and service here are really top notch. I can't complain about anything. I am totally satisfied.

We were overcharged by about 15%, which we didn't immediately notice, only later when we realized it sounded a bit high. Ofc there was no receipt, just scribbles on a piece of paper. Calculate your bill yourself before you head for the cash-only no-receipt payment.

Cozy little restaurant Food was delicious

Unfortunately, I can't recommend the Pho Bo. Broth, strips of beef, flat rice noodles, red onions, parsley. That... was it. Unfortunately, very unloving. Definitely not the best Pho in Berlin. The red curry, on the other hand, was really delicious. The atmosphere was very nice. Simple but cozy. Nice jazz music in the background. No card payments. They didn't even offer a bill. You can imagine the rest.

I am quite sorry to put a bad review. The staff was very nice, but unfortunately my girlfriend and I ate 2 bun bo Tuesday and we were both very sick during the night and the day after. That's the last thing we ate during this day, so there's no doubt there.

The moon tea was amazing(changes colour when you add orange or lime juice!), the tofu was perfect consistency, I ate the vegan pho. Lovely aesthetic and very popular!

The food was a 6 out of 5. It tasted extremely delicious. You can't go wrong visiting this place. My only complaint was the relatively uncomfortable chairs with no backs and relatively close together, but hey, that's Berlin :)

My go-to Vietnamese restaurant in the neighbourhood. There are plenty of options there, inside and outdoor seating. Drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are very tasty as well.

Don’t judge the book by its cover! Although the place may not attract by its look, don’t hesitate. We ate there three times already and our friends who know much more than we do about Asian food praised it as well. Mind you: cash only.

No card payment possible I had a pho with tofu and summer rolls with tofu after a review said it was the best vegetarian pho in Berlin. At this point I actually have to say that it was the worst I've had so far. More of a German stew (typical soup vegetables with broccoli, cauliflower, celery and celeriac, leek, green beans, onion,...) and unfortunately very few herbs that belong in every Pho (I couldn't find any relevant coriander or mint). Relatively few rice noodles. Unfortunately, the summer rolls were also very dry and bland, no fresh herbs and hardly any tofu. The sauce also didn't perform well in terms of taste. For 18.00 euros (take away) I would have expected a world more and would sadly advise against a visit.

Great vietnamese restaurant in Weisensee. We have recently moved to the Weisensee area and we were looking to find a good Vietnamese place. We came across this place while walking. We ordered salad, ginger tea, and salmon with rice. Everything was delicious. We would definitely visit again!

Delicious papu... Perfectly seasoned, fresh and generous portions... for less than €13 you can eat well and healthily. I recommend!

There is a small map, which I find nice. The food is delicious and beautifully prepared. The salmon was grilled to perfection, juicy and tender. The sauce is perfect. The dish was called Venus. I personally wouldn't recommend dessert, but that's a matter of taste.

Best vegetarian Pho soup in Berlin!

We've been there twice so far and twice it was very, very tasty. The pho and any dish with salmon are great! We will definitely go there more often :)

Absolute recommendation! Authentic, super tasty and cozy.

Leckeres Essen, allerdings nur Barzahlung möglich. Banken sind in der Nähe , aber hätte ich gerne ehr gewusst. So war es zum Ende mit etwas Stress verbunden, aber das Essen war wirklich gut. Kleines , aber feines Restaurant.

Ehrlich gesagt, eines der besten vietnamesischen Restaurants, die ich bis jetzt besucht habe. Das Tofu ist wirklich lecker, alle Gerichte sind mit frischen Gemüsen gekocht. Für Vegetarier ist der Ort wirklich empfehlenswert.

Ein echtes Juwel als Restaurant. Hatte hier ein Peanut Chicken und einen Discovery Drink. Das Essen war super. Auf den Punkt gebraten, super gute Soße, Reis und Salat perfekt zubereitet. Und dazu noch schön angerichtet. Auch der Preis war ok. Die Bedienung war schnell da und freundlich. Sogar die Speisekarte ist stylish. Der Besuch im Restaurant während einer Dienstreise war ein echter Glücksgriff. Wirklich toller Laden :)
