Cooquin Café in Berlin

I have visited this place several times to eat and drink. What they serve isn't bad, but the person serving is an older lady who is quite rude. Yesterday she took our order and when we finished she took away our dishes and told us to leave now Very bad, it's the second time this has happened and not just to me. A few days ago he did the same thing with a colleague. Since it's a recurring fact, I'm making it known because someone like that shouldn't be working in front of the public.

We just wanted a cup of tea . I wasn't expecting much from this place when we walked by. Boy, was i wrong!!! It's a small and a very cozy place with yellow welcoming lights. Let me tell you that the presentation is amazing. It's simple yet tasteful, very clean, and very cute. The quality of tea blew my mind. I wasn't expecting the lychee tea to actually taste like lychee and rose buds. It was a little sweet, very aromatic. We ended up getting more. The mango lassi was an absolute delight, it tasted like real mangoes!!!! The mangoes dessert was sublime, very airy and light, tasted like the real fruit, the jelloed top, held the dessert together beautifully. Highly recommend, an absolute hidden gem!

The Cooquin Café impresses with delicious food and fair prices. The service is friendly and the food comes to the table quickly, which makes the atmosphere pleasantly relaxed. The ambience is cozy, accompanied by relaxed music that invites you to linger. At the end there was an excellent café from the portafilter machine - a perfect moment of enjoyment!

We, my husband and I, love Vietnamese coffee ☕️ whether hot or cold, always a pleasure. The food is also very tasty and recommended

I walk past the shop every day and the food appealed to me so much that I went in. The food is great and is prepared surprisingly quickly! I was really satisfied and will come again! By the way, the vegan offer is also great.

Had the pho with beef. I wanted more herbs because there were so few in them but she didn't understand me. Super little beef, little herbs. Broth tasted like glutamate. Wouldn't recommend eating pho there, especially for €12.50 (I didn't have any drinks)

The food is delicious here. “Chao Bo Bit Tet” is recommended. Very authentic and simply super delicious. The drinks look good and taste good too. The service is friendly and loving. However, a bit expensive.

A very, very nice and authentic cafe with incredibly delicious food! I ordered Banh Mi with chicken and pork twice. Both super delicious! A Vietnamese pudding was served with it. This place is an absolute treasure! Very good for studying or for meetings/dates/me-time. The decoration is beautiful. Really great atmosphere! The service is reserved but friendly and gives good advice on food✨ Card payment is possible and you can order using a QR code, among other things. They have a small shrine with incense sticks in the cafe. If you don't like the smell, you can sit away. I found him very pleasant. You still couldn't smell it throughout the entire café. We'd love to come back!

A newly discovered place of ours with really excellent cuisine and very nice service. The food is "almost" like in Vietnam and the portions are generous. And for dessert there is homemade chè. The ambience is typically spartan, but in a positively nostalgic sense of the shops and street food in Vietnam. We will definitely visit the store again.

I bought a Bun Dau Mam Tom and a Banh Mi but it was very bad. I had to pay €40 for something I didn't like. There is no delicious food in Bun Dau Mam Tom. I told the waiter that there was no salad and no spicy food in Banh Mi, but when I ate it, it was still in Banh Mi. I had a bad first experience here. This is just my personal opinion. I hope you can fix it. Thank you

We decided with friends to drink something cold, the choice fell on this institution, we chose coffee coconut, it is just unrealistically delicious!!!!! A drink with coffee, ground ice and coconut, moderately sweet. Now I want to try their other drinks, hopefully they will surprise us as well)

Vegetarian Banh Mi was the best

Unfriendly service staff, you immediately feel unwelcome. Why don't you close the store if you don't want customers? I'll never understand something like that

Unfortunately I have to take back my previous positive review, I was there again a few days ago. The boss or whoever it was, an older woman, was incredibly rude and I felt absolutely unwelcome. It's a shame about the store, but that kind of thing makes you lose your desire to eat.

I love the décor, and the relaxed, quiet atmosphere! Always having beautiful music on. The coffees and the food are excellent. Food is a bit pricey. Good service but lacking a smile! I was sorry there was no selection of pastries or any small treats to accommodate the coffee. Would definitely come again whenever in the area.

Today I finally stopped here on the way home from work. The coconut coffee and the Bánh mì were very tasty. And even though it's a self-service cafe, I was served very nicely at the table because it wasn't too crowded. I will definitely stop here again!

The food and drinks were ok, but the staff should be a bit friendlier and more careful with customers. Maybe it was a bad day but they barely smiled and the worst thing was that they forced us all to sit at a table (a group of 5 people waiting for other friends) after telling us that they needed the table we had occupied, which was obviously a sign that we were being pressured to leave the restaurant.

The service is cute, enthusiastic, the restaurant's space is small and cozy, the food is delicious so 10 servings is enough ♥️ I will come back to support the restaurant a lot 😍😍😍

The shop is very chill and beautiful. The food I ordered that day was spring rolls, banh cuon and Mango Salat. I give the spring rolls 7/10 because the sauce isn't very strong, the banh cuon I give 7/10 because the fried shell is a bit tender on the outside and the inside is a bit greasy because it's flooded with oil and finally the sweet and sour Mango Salad strangely sweet 10/10. In the end, my friend and I ordered 2 sweet soup dishes, which were coconut sweet soup and tao pho. The pickled coconut and tofu dish is very beautiful and delicious, there is nothing wrong with it, my suggestion is that you should make it into shreds to put it in sweet soup, it will be better. I give 2 dishes 100/10❤️. I will still come back to this restaurant because there are still so many dishes I haven't tried yet.

Service was worst. I had to go to the checkout to order and pay, but I wasn't informed about it at all at the beginning. When the customers are full, you can't sit there for long because the helper in the kitchen has brought the plates thousands of times and asked if you need anything else. Still, I wasn't there until half an hour.

Very nice, small restaurant/café. Fast and great service. The food is great! The homemade lemonade is highly recommended. There is a toilet and it is also very clean. You can pay in cash or by card (from €20). The food is also available to take away from home.

Wieder ein Geschmacks Erlebnis. Sehr zuempfehlen! Frisch, geschmackvoll, typisch vietnamesischen Essen. Getränke sind alle frisch zubereitet, kein Standard. Wer gut essen möchte dann dort :)

SO lecker! The drinks were particularly beautiful (I had a lychee rose iced tea--strongly recommend!) but every item we ordered was SO delicious. The service was super fact, and our waitress was very patient in humouring our bad german 😅 My girlfriend has been searching for a while to find the best Banh Mi in Berlin, and we have 100% found it here !!

Bad customer service, soup was not as pictured. No alternative was offered. The price also had to be paid in full. (I didn't touch the soup) After working in the catering industry for many years, I learned that the guest's well-being comes first. There seem to be other priorities here. 1 time and never again.

I had a banh mi sandwich and the Vietnamese coffee with sweetened condensed milk a few times there. Food and drinks were always really tasty and they looked very photogenic, too. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm. I will definitely come back soon for more coffee variations and a banh mi. :)

It's a Vietnamese coffee shop. You can find here typical Vietnamese dishes and drinks. I really liked it. And the people are kind and respectful. I‘ll definitely go again!

The shop may seem inconspicuous, but you will receive a friendly welcome, fast and very friendly service and incredibly tasty food and drinks. As a tip: avocado coffee and salt coffee! ...sounds strange, but it's actually surprisingly tasty. Be nice and tip...

Das Banh Mi war so la la. Sehr wenig Belag für einen hohen Preis - 7,90 € für 85% Teig. Geschmacklich okay aber nicht ausreichend.

Das Essen und Trinken sind frisch und geschmacklich super, der Service hingegen eine Katastrophe. Bin letzte Woche dort gewesen, es war nicht viel los. Habe mich draußen an einen Tisch gesetzt, aber als nach mehr als 5 Minuten immer noch niemand die Karte gebracht hat, bin ich reingegangen um zu schauen, ob ich direkt am Tresen bestellen muss. Personal (3 Leute!) hat mich erst ignoriert, und nachdem mir endlich Beachtung geschenkt wurde, sagte man mir, ich könne mich setzen und die Bestellung wird dann am Tisch aufgenommen. Also habe ich mich wieder raus gesetzt. Nach einer Weile kamen neue Gäste, die draußen einen zweiten Tisch besetzt haben. Die Mitarbeiterin hat diese umsorgt, mich jedoch ignoriert. Ich musste selbst auf mich aufmerksam machen, um meine Bestellung abzugeben. Bestellt wurden: Rose Latte und Chicken Banh Mi. Beides sehr lecker, und das Getränk wurde auch schön angerichtet. Allerdings gab es weder Besteck, noch eine Serviette dazu. Auch zum Bezahlen musste ich wieder selbst auf mich aufmerksam machen, weil das Personal weiterhin nur den anderen Tisch umsorgt hat. Bin mir nicht sicher, ob ich wiederkommen werde…

Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in der Nachbarschaft! Das Essen (egal was, ob Bánh mì, die Reisgerichte oder mein Favorit der lauwarme Reisnudelsalat) ist immer absolut frisch und schmeckt ausnahmslos lecker! Die Eistees sind ebenfalls ein Hingucker und sehr erfrischend! Ich bin so dankbar, dass dieses kleine Restaurant den Weg in unseren Kiez gefunden hat und will es nicht mehr missen!

Fantastisk mat, spiste biff på vietnamesisk vis og delikat salat ved siden av. Anbefales virkelig på grunn av maten. Men jenta som mottar gjestene er mer opptatt av mobilen. Jeg reiste derfra med blandede følelser og ga ikke tips. Jeg gir alltid tips vanligvis. Synd for stedet, for det er virkelig bra!

Das Banh mi war sehr sehr lecker. Der Geschmack des Fleisches wirklich authentisch zu dem, was ich aus Vietnam kenne. Preislich nicht ganz günstig, aber kann man mittlerweile auch nicht mehr verlangen. Der Kumquat-Eistee war eine Offenbarung. Ich komme wieder und kann es nur empfehlen. Dankeschön!

Ich liebe die Einrichtung in diesem kleinen und feinen Restaurant. Ein kleines Juwel in dieser Gegend. Die Getränke- und Speisekarte ist sehr interessant erstellt und bietet herzhafte als auch süße vietnamesische Spezialitäten zu fairen Preisen. Leider ist das kleine Café/ Restaurant schnell voll und es findet sich nicht immer spontan ein Platz. Wir kommen dennoch gern vorbei 🥰

Das Essen war ok, das Getränk hat nach Plastik geschmeckt und es war das erste Mal, dass wir kein Trinkgeld gegeben haben, weil die Kellnerin einfach total unfreundlich war. Als wir zahlen wollten hat sie uns nicht bemerkt, weil sie am Handy hing. Bis wir dann irgendwann direkt vor ihrer Nase gewunken und hallo gesagt haben. Da kam auch kein sorry oder so :D die Frau hatte Bock auf ihre Schicht. Haben uns generell nicht willkommen gefühlt

On of the best Vietnamese restaurants I ever had the pleasure to visit in Berlin. The Bahn Mi is delicious. The ingredients are all very fresh and tasty. The ambiance is cozily modern and inviting, and the service is excellent. We will be back!
