Der Name „La Gelateria“ verheißt gutes italienisches Eis - leider wird man hier enttäuscht - die Produkte sind weder cremig noch geschmacksintensiv. Eher industriell und chemisch. Hier bekommt man also kein Gelato, sondern offenbar „deutsches Eis“. Für Liebhaber des „deutschen Eis“ wohl o.k., für Liebhaber des klassischen Gelatos eine Zumutung.

The service was really bad; the waitresses ignored us! We then moved on to another bar a few meters away. Go somewhere else!

I don't understand how people don't look at the sign that says "we'll take you to your table." Many customers enter the terrace avoiding the sign. We are polite and know how to read. We are led to the table in the blink of an eye. This is where the beauty begins for any tourist who wants to experience peace on vacation. The waiter speaks a little Portuguese and I feel like I'm on vacation. Everything is calm with the terrace full, a pleasant atmosphere. Then the food arrives, which did not disappoint us. The ribs are unique. My wife and I liked everything.

1 star – Unprofessional, misleading, and anti-customer! We expressly reserved a seat on the terrace (at 28°C), advertised in a large and tempting way on the website. Then, when we got there, we were told the terrace was closed due to construction – no advance notice. We arrived on time, but didn't get the reserved seat and decided to eat elsewhere. Instead of understanding and/or an apology, we were brazenly demanded a €100 "cancellation fee" – even though the fault was clearly the restaurant's. She also claimed that they didn't guarantee a seat on the terrace... When I pointed out that this behavior was completely unprofessional, unfriendly to customers, and unacceptable, the employee reacted coldly: "It's not my fault if the boss doesn't update the website." But hey there – where are we? This restaurant is definitely dead for us – this behavior is simply embarrassing and disrespectful! The positive: Just a few meters away, we found another restaurant where we received friendly, courteous, and warm service, ate excellently, and were still able to enjoy the evening.
