I ordered via Wolt and in the description asked that rice and sauce be delivered separately. Unfortunately everything came in one package. The rice had absorbed all the liquid🙄 Very annoying! There was also an excessive amount of raw vegetable salad on it, really disproportionate. I think the food in the restaurant is good, but I won't be ordering from you again.

(Reviewing as a tourist who's had a lot of pho internationally) their pho was not legit...too oily and salty. They also give you a tiny spoon that keeps dropping into the bowl. Noodle was too hard for my taste.

With very good ratings on Trip Adviser, we expected high standards at M. Vuong's bistro. On arrival we got a shock as it was crowded and very noisy with a queue outside (Friday evening...). Although we'd reserved in advance, we had to wait for a table, but the organiser found us a relatively quiet corner at the back. When we'd settled in, we enjoyed some of the best Vietnamese flavours we've found anywhere (except perhaps in Viet Nam...). Red curries with tofu and with chicken on top of copious rice were just right at the end of a day tramping around the sights (including a couple of art galleries in Prenzlauer Berg). In these trendy areas there are hundreds of Vietnamese restos. But M. Vuong holds his head high above the crowds!

Unfortunately very little noodles in the Pho soup. It was tasty but not filling, unfortunately. It's a shame considering the price :/

The food is top. The atmosphere is always very sporty. The staff is always energized. Pure, eat and BAM - delicious! The vegan options are a real delight.

The food is really delicious. But the atmosphere is reminiscent of a bistro/fast food restaurant. It is not at all designed for guests to linger. It doesn't give off a cozy atmosphere. You sit on wooden stools without backrests. There are no seat cushions. The service goes like this. You face the guest, but they don't ask you if you want something else to drink or anything like that. This reinforces the impression that you shouldn't linger for long. There is no paper menu. Completely terrible. There are small exhibitors with a QR code on the tables. Makes the whole thing even more anonymous for me. Going there again, definitely not.

Wirklich leckeres Essen, aber nichts besonderes. Abfertigung wie auf dem Bahnhof. Sobald der Teller leer ist, wird er weggeräumt und damit das Gefühl vermittelt, dass man sich jetzt auch bitte schnell von Acker machen soll. Mittags okay, für den Abend keine gute Wahl.

Service was friendly, special requests were no problem. The food was good.

Since we wanted to eat there on Wednesday evening without making a reservation, we had to wait around 10 minutes in front of the door for a table, which wasn't a problem. We were then invited in and enjoyed an excellent, light meal which we actually ate with chopsticks. (Supplied) Service is quick and friendly, prices are ok... Gladly again!!!👍

Very successful restaurant, delicious food+ friendly service. Nice atmosphere with an aquarium. I recommend the mango lassi with chicken soup.

The shop was packed, the lady outside gave me a place at the counter. Very close, meaning in close contact with the other guests at the counter. Ordered dish from the table. Came about 3 minutes later (unusually fast), was nice to see. Unfortunately, the dish was so salty and intensely seasoned that I couldn't finish it all. Vietnamese cuisine thrives on subtle seasoning and spicing up dishes with lots of fresh herbs. Different here. Room overcrowded, very loud and therefore uncomfortable. No recommendation.

I really love the pho at this place!

As soon as you take a bite of the soup, you will understand why it is famous. It was good because there were a lot of vegetables. It was just so delicious that I want to eat it again. life vietnamese food house

When I came all the way to Berlin, I thought, what kind of rice noodles are these? They are so delicious haha. The taste is a bit richer than in other European countries? It also contains a good amount of cilantro and vegetables. Wontons are a little more oily and savory. It’s a style that suits Korean people well. When added with red pepper sauce, the flavor explodes, but be careful because the peppers are very spicy haha. I went around 6pm on a public holiday (Friday), and there was a wait, but it was gone quickly and the food came out quickly.

I had rice noodle large and jjajo. I was craving soup after staying in Berlin for a few days, so I went there and it was delicious. They give you a sauce with chili peppers, but even a little bit can be very spicy, so adjust carefully before eating. It's a little expensive, but it's delicious.

This spot was so great. Close to my hostel, I wanted a togo dinner to bring to a nearby park. Reading good reviews, I chose Monsieur Vuong and was NOT disappointed. Fast service, good prices, and amazing food. I actually came back a second time during my short trip. The green curry and the red curry are both amazing dishes. Service was amazing, can't recommend it more!

always heard about this popular restaurant so decided to check it out today. it was very busy at 8pm so we had to wait for a bit to get a table. the service was quite sweet & friendly. as a vietnamese, the food was honestly quite average and expensive for the portion. at the end, my friends tipped the waiter quite a lot for their service already so i wasn‘t planning on adding more. however, she still added 0,50€ to my total without my permission & even tried to hide the screen from me. of course the few cents do not bother me, but it‘s really unacceptable that she just did it on her own. that left a bad taste in my mouth & needless to say, i won‘t be coming back.

one of the best places for Vietnamese food out of Vietnam and I did try many of them. the plates are great, big plaits you can definitely share. in my opinion you don't have to order a place in advance but there is a queue that you will probably need to wait if you come after 7:00 p.m.

Food was ok and served very fast but it was cold. I was very disappointed. It was my second time. Waitress were extremely indifferent and rude. It was not only for today. There were 2 waitress. when I asked about ingredients of the menu they didn’t explain to me. They just said it is a chicken option and left right away. They need to be mindful of their body language like attitude and tone of voice The customer next to me and a family were served very welcoming hospitality I didn’t expect high quality of service. Only time they spoke to me nicely was after swiping my card if I wanted to tip them. Anyway, I go to Vietnam regularly I love Vietnamese food, however, it was very a sad experience. I hope none of customer had the same experience like me

Absolutely amazing food! Came so many times even during a short visit to Berlin. Chicken wonton soup and banana cake were great. 11/10. Cuc, our server, was lovely.

Busy business but a nice cozy business. We were lucky that we didn't have to queue, so be sure to arrive on time. For the rest, the food was very tasty and the service was certainly ok! For €25 you have a starter and main course.

It's delicious. We ordered large size rice noodles (15 euros) and Jjajo (7 euros?). The large size is not that big either. We ordered less so we could eat and go to a cafe. When I ate the rice noodles (pho bo) without adding anything, the soup was a bit oily and salty, but when I added the chili sauce with floating red peppers and a squeeze of lime, the taste became clean and spicy, and it was delicious. The chili sauce has a lot of pepper even by Korean standards, so don't add too much. I think it would be a good place to come when you're craving soup in Berlin.

The food was just good, but the service was beyond praise. Due to certain circumstances, we had to move several times, but the service team worked perfectly well that we did not feel any discomfort, and then offered desserts at the expense of the establishment.

I have known Monsieur Vuong since 2006, when I was often just visiting Berlin. Back then the store was really hip, and the menu was always the same for years, short and compact. What surprised me so positively today is their expanded menu. I don't know how long they've had salmon there, but I was very excited. Salmon tasted very crispy and delicious. Salad and rice was okay, nothing special, but salmon 👌

It's simply such a good place to be. Kind and effective service. Tasty dishes. A great atmosphere.

I come here to eat for 15 years. First from Brussels, now from Amsterdam. Many Vietnamese around, but the legacy, flavour, attention to detail and contemporary twist on never boring classics! In Love ❤

A girl with golden hair tied up, probably a Vietnamese waitress, served a bowl of chili sauce without telling me it was for sharing. At least half an hour after dining, she scolded me harshly, saying it couldn't be used by others because I put my unused fork in that chili bowl. If it was for sharing, shouldn't she have mentioned it earlier? Then I would have known, and there was no need for such a harsh attitude. The food is delicious, but the attitude is frightening.

A classic, but always good. The service is really excellent. We were there with a small baby and were immediately offered a suitable place and a special baby chair. The food is always very good and large portions. In my opinion, still one of the best Pho soups in Berlin.

Monsieur Vong is the stuff of dreams for pho lovers. The beef pho is nothing short of perfection, and it’s the reason I keep coming back. The place is always bustling, but the service is quick and efficient. While the other dishes are good, the pho is the star here—if you’re in the area, don’t miss it.

If you're Vietnamese, I wouldn't recommend eating Pho here; it doesn't taste authentic. To the restaurant staff: If you see this, please stop yelling at each other—remember, customers are sitting at the bar! The atmosphere here is very „stressful“ 😟

Wonderful experience. We had a nice lunch with family. The service is very good and fast, they make good recommendations and they are careful about your requests. We really enjoyed our lunch here!

The rice noodles of my life that I met in Berlin. Large size 15 euros. The boss's picture is posted here and there, and he is in good health. There is also a very large photo hanging in the hall haha. He seems to be a bit narcissistic. I just asked him, and he said he was the boss' father.

As a Vietnamese, i had my worst Pho here. The soup was just pour MSG and salt. Very little beef which is chewy and thick. I think the restaurant is very overrated. The Pho costed 14Eu which is WAYYYY ABOVE berlin price. Overall bad experience and very unhappy. Dont trust the rating.

The food is just unbelievably good! Portions bug and prices are very adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Spicy glass noodles with prawns are soooo recommended! And homemade lime lemonade was very refreshing. Also beef dumplings were a very tasty starter. I’ve been here several times and never been disappointed.

Wir haben und für dieses Restaurant entschieden aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen bei Tripadvisor, wurden jedoch ziemlich enttäuscht! Die Bedienung war sehr wortkarg, ohne einen Hauch von Emphatie oder Freundlichkeit. Die Angestellten wirkten alle recht unmotiviert und haben sich mehr untereinander unterhalten, als sich den Gästen zuzuwenden. Das Essen wurde ohne ein Wort serviert und ohne ein Wort abgeräumt, sobald es verzehrt war ( obwohl andere ihr Essen noch nicht beendet hatten). Nachdem wir unsere Bestellung ( 2 Vorspeisen, 2 Hauptgerichte aus der Tageskarte) aufgegeben hatten, dauerte es keine 5 Minuten und es wurde serviert. Der Salat war definitiv aus der Tüte und mit Sicherheit nicht frisch, die Hähnchenspieße hätten aus dem Supermarkt nebenan sein können!

Unfortunately, a restaurant that used to be good but is now overrated. The glass noodle salad is boring, the weekly dish promised spicy soy meat, what came was a completely overly sweet dish that I had to order a lime. The portion of the favorite mango shake left a lot to be desired for the price. Service is quick and friendly, but rather well-rehearsed so that you feel exhausted.

They're great at marketing (hence the hype) and the location is great, but everything else doesn't deserve a star. The owner's treatment of some employees is particularly bad (insults and violence). Since most guests don't understand Vietnamese, they hardly notice how poor the working conditions are. The price-performance ratio is also disappointing.

I absolutely adore this place and have been here numerous times. Be prepared to wait for a table, as it can get quite busy. Monsieur Vuong serves a daily menu that is consistently fresh and delicious. I love the whole concept they have created. The drinks are fantastic, and the lively crowd adds to the overall experience. I have met so many great people here and enjoyed the food every single time. I will definitely keep coming back and always bring new friends along.

Tasty chicken pho and spring roll

The food was delicious. The staff was very welcoming and very flexible: they didn’t mind leaving out some ingredients for our children. The only negative point is that it gets very crowded and loud, so it’s sometimes difficult to have a conversation.

Food is delicious and portions are very generous and reasonably priced. Had the Cari Dau and Goi Mekong Bo Glasnudelsalad both were equally good very fresh ingredients and nice balance of spices. Service is very fast the place is a bit noisy as it is packed. Sitting outside is nice as you are at street level and the street is not busy

The food came quickly, but the seasoning was boring and the soy meat was completely over-sweetened, so the price-performance ratio wasn't right - at least for me. It's a shame, the store used to have a lot more character and now looks more like a chain

Just finished dinner and I don’t know if the other reviewers have had real Pho but this is not it. It is suggestive of Pho but if you’re looking for traditional Pho you will be disappointed. Our waitress showed us nothing but disdain from the moment we walked in the door. We asked for a minute to have our son decide what he would like to eat, which was received with a huff and rolled eyes. When we asked on of her compatriots for the bill he said he would send her by in a minute. When he asked her to get our bill she glared at him and then glared at us. All in all a mediocre disappointing experience.
