Wir haben und für dieses Restaurant entschieden aufgrund der positiven Bewertungen bei Tripadvisor, wurden jedoch ziemlich enttäuscht! Die Bedienung war sehr wortkarg, ohne einen Hauch von Emphatie oder Freundlichkeit. Die Angestellten wirkten alle recht unmotiviert und haben sich mehr untereinander unterhalten, als sich den Gästen zuzuwenden. Das Essen wurde ohne ein Wort serviert und ohne ein Wort abgeräumt, sobald es verzehrt war ( obwohl andere ihr Essen noch nicht beendet hatten). Nachdem wir unsere Bestellung ( 2 Vorspeisen, 2 Hauptgerichte aus der Tageskarte) aufgegeben hatten, dauerte es keine 5 Minuten und es wurde serviert. Der Salat war definitiv aus der Tüte und mit Sicherheit nicht frisch, die Hähnchenspieße hätten aus dem Supermarkt nebenan sein können!

They're great at marketing (hence the hype) and the location is great, but everything else doesn't deserve a star. The owner's treatment of some employees is particularly bad (insults and violence). Since most guests don't understand Vietnamese, they hardly notice how poor the working conditions are. The price-performance ratio is also disappointing.

I absolutely adore this place and have been here numerous times. Be prepared to wait for a table, as it can get quite busy. Monsieur Vuong serves a daily menu that is consistently fresh and delicious. I love the whole concept they have created. The drinks are fantastic, and the lively crowd adds to the overall experience. I have met so many great people here and enjoyed the food every single time. I will definitely keep coming back and always bring new friends along.

Tasty chicken pho and spring roll

The food was delicious. The staff was very welcoming and very flexible: they didn’t mind leaving out some ingredients for our children. The only negative point is that it gets very crowded and loud, so it’s sometimes difficult to have a conversation.

Food is delicious and portions are very generous and reasonably priced. Had the Cari Dau and Goi Mekong Bo Glasnudelsalad both were equally good very fresh ingredients and nice balance of spices. Service is very fast the place is a bit noisy as it is packed. Sitting outside is nice as you are at street level and the street is not busy

Cosy little place - and WONDERFUL food. Located a bit off of the most touristy areas. And the prices are really reasonable.

Pho Bo broth easily the best one I tried. I would recommend spring rolls too

My homie got the prawn salad, wasn’t messing with it tbf. We got the pho, good af but lacking noodle quantity. You can probs find better pho in this city, but are you gonna try? Have a good time

The food came quickly, but the seasoning was boring and the soy meat was completely over-sweetened, so the price-performance ratio wasn't right - at least for me. It's a shame, the store used to have a lot more character and now looks more like a chain

Food was ok and served very fast but it was cold. I was very disappointed. It was my second time. Waitress were extremely indifferent and rude. It was not only for today. There were 2 waitress. when I asked about ingredients of the menu they didn’t explain to me. They just said it is a chicken option and left right away. They need to be mindful of their body language like attitude and tone of voice The customer next to me and a family were served very welcoming hospitality I didn’t deserve it and I didn’t expect high quality of service. Only time they spoke to me nicely was after swiping my card if I wanted to tip them. Anyway, I go to Vietnam regularly I love Vietnamese food, however, it was very sad experience. I hope none of customer had the same experience like me

I feel like the pho broth has too much msg. But it was tasty in the first few bites.

It tastes good, but the hygiene is a bit questionable 😂 They gave the red pepper sauce we were eating right away to another table?? (No matter how much you eat...) It was rice noodles, and I also found a glass noodle... I recommend it if you don't care about hygiene. It's delicious.

I have loved the food at Monsieur Vuong for a very long time. Today, however, for the first time, it was so spicy that I couldn't finish it. The staff took note of it and wanted to pass it on to the kitchen. There was no further response. A pity! Next time (of course I'll go there again) I'll ask for less spiciness in advance in order to maintain the usual culinary delight.

Very unfriendly staff. Second time this happens. Arrived at 6pm. Would not be seated although a table outside was partly free. Told us to wait. nothing happened, while he basically kept not doing nothing. Feels like a hyped place that can afford this kind of behavior. cannot judge the food but no customer focus. No coming back.

Delicious food, friendly service

I had the Pho with duck and a glass of tap water. Total price was €19. The food was good, but nothing special per se. Though the duck portion was good, the pho was a bit too vegetables-heavy and could've used more sauce.

I had the opportunity to use catering. I recommend. delicious food, delivered on time, beautifully packaged, picked up efficiently.

There are two vegan dishes here. I tried the dish with the peanut sauce and found it to be extremely greasy.

Place changed deeply since pre-Covid. Italian or Cuban music ( why in an Asian restaurant ). Food is now just average. But what really is wrong is the poor service. Wrong charges and not too polite. Pity used to be go-to place

I think the waiter is the flash because our starter took less then a minute to arrive. Drinks were good and food also. And not too expensive. Definitely try.

Food is really good, but I would cut a vegan meat in smaller pieces, because is hard to eat them without a knife. I was there second time, taste of broth is perfect 👌Spring rolls have a nice texture and it’s served with a nice sauce.

The rice noodles have cilantro in them, which I really like 🤍 I ordered it with a photo! It came out right after I ordered it and it was so delicious.

Personally, I think it’s overrated for me. The food is alright. If you enjoy fusion food, sure you might like it. Not that many options in the menu. You can try it once but I won’t come back, especially for Vietnamese foods. The interior and atmosphere are nice, lot of sits. Staffs are nice.

We hadn't finished eating when the waiter simply took the plate away. We also wanted to sit for a bit at the end, but had to leave the restaurant because they wanted to clean…

I had dinner there with my colleague after work. We received a warm welcome and we felt more than welcome. We were given very good advice about the dishes on offer and had a lot of laughs. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks and delicious food. The toilets were very clean and I really liked them. The only drawback with the toilets was that they are very narrow. Customers who have a bit more on their shoulders may have some problems using the toilet. Otherwise, Monsieur Vuong gets a clear recommendation from me.

Jjajo is not an option, it is a necessity ◠‿◠ (Compared to the typical Asian women who eat European food in a big way), the portion was not as large as I expected. Still, I intend to visit again! The broth is really 👍👍👍

I bought Monsieur Vuong's cookbook a long time ago and have cooked several dishes. When I visited Berlin it was a matter of course to visit the restaurant. Personally, I can't understand the hype surrounding this restaurant; I expected a lot more from the culinary side. I am also critical of the price/performance. Unfortunately the food wasn't a highlight for me.

Very tasty starters with an exceptionally good spiciness, which is known to be adapted and toned down to suit the German palate in many Vietnamese restaurants here. I think the Pho Bo is a bit overrated in the reviews, probably because “Good Morning Saigon” in Freiburg is a bit too far away. The bar is set pretty high there when it comes to “Phos”. Price-performance corresponds to the current circumstances. The packaging for “takeaway food” could be made a little more environmentally friendly. Overall recommended!

Be sure to eat the rice noodles! Eat it twice. Eat the big one haha. The savory taste of the rich meat broth, along with the spicy flavor of the sauce and peppers, swirls in your mouth and makes you empty the bowl in no time. The shrimp jjajo that I ordered together is also excellent. The atmosphere was very nice, the service was friendly, and I was satisfied with everything until I paid the bill. I can definitely say that this is one of the best pho in Europe.

I keep recommending this place to anyone who visits Berlin because of how tasty the Pho was, just the right level of sweetness. We ordered the tea suggested by the staff and it was spot on, a great mix of herbs and spices, you can clearly taste every element in one sip. My only complaint is that the space was too small for the amount of people inside, if we ever wanted to use the toilet we had to ask the person behind us to move.

The rice noodle soup is really delicious and the pepper-based sauce that you put in it is really delicious. I can see why it is a famous restaurant.

If you go to a pho restaurant in Europe, you'll find many places that use seasonings rather than meat or bone broth directly to make the soup, but here it seems to be made directly. There are small and large sizes of rice noodles, and the large size is about 15 euros. But the amount is not large. It's a typical Vietnamese dish, like Türkiye's doner kebab, but it seems to be sold too expensive, especially in Europe.

Wij aten hier al een keer eerder, maar ook deze keer was het weer goed. Meer dan goed zelfs. De beefreepjes waren echt verrukkelijk, zoveel smaken. Heb het tot het laatste stukje groente opgegeten. De bediening was vlot en aardig. Kortom, een aanrader. Je kunt zowel binnen als buiten zitten.

Absolutely terrible service. The food was decent, but our server was inattentive and forgetful, almost as if they were deliberately avoiding us. We would've gotten better service at McDonald's.

Spring rolls were legendary, literally took me into another dimension. The bathroom was also pretty cool. Good pho. Highly recommend.

Ha Cao (Dumpling) was ok but not special 3/5, Pho Hanoi was fresh and the broth is good but the flavor was 4/5, Pho Bo was very tasty, you can easily feel the cinnamon, coriendar and aniseed a bit deeper, noodle and meat was good 4.5/5. As a dessert, Banh Chuoi La was perfect, easy, simple but delicious 5/5. Overall 4/5.

Visited Mr Vuong as a group and really enjoyed the authentic Vietnamese food. The service is excellent and we were seated straight away, although reservations by telephone are not possible. Great value for money. The ambience is rather simple and the music is quite loud. Monsieur Vong's portrait is too omnipresent everywhere for my taste, but it's still a great restaurant!

Excellent, fresh and beautifully seasoned food - be sure to try the banana dessert too! A disco ball on the palate 🤤 the service is friendly and on the ball, the atmosphere is pleasant and free of kitsch. I think the hype is deserved - an exceptional restaurant in the center of Berlin
