Con Tho in Berlin

Typical Vietnamese restaurant, very good and quality dishes. The servers are very welcoming, the prices are reasonable. I recommend.

Having wanted to do so for a long time, I have now visited Con Tho several times and can absolutely recommend it. Really good and creative fusion dishes (Vietnamese/European/Mediterranean). Some dishes are surprising, others are classic in the best sense (wonderful pho!). The ambience is nice and the service staff are very nice and attentive. I would like to come more often now.

One of my favorite Vietnamese in Berlin. For many years there have been creative, fresh and tasty vegetarian creations that stand out from the usual monotony. Be sure to go and share different dishes. It's nice to sit in the bamboo garden in summer and forget that you're sitting on the busy and not so beautiful Hasenheide.

Great flavours and lovely ambience. We really enjoyed our food here and felt it’s a reliable vegan spot to come to when you’re in need of greens/inspiration.

Very good Vietnamese vegan cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. So far we have always been able to get a place without a reservation, but if you are traveling in a group, I would recommend a reservation. The food tastes really good and the service is very nice and attentive. I don't recommend taking a starter as the main courses are really filling and sufficient. Nevertheless, I have an appetizer every time because it is just so delicious.

Particularmente me gusta que las comidas no sean demasiado grandes (puedes pedir más guarniciones si sientes que tu comida no es suficiente, o dejar espacio para el postre) , odio desperdiciar comida. Volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Berlín.

Food quality has deteriorated a lot. The vegetarian duck used to be twice as big. Wine selection almost non-existent. Toilets not clean. Bad sewer smell coming from the kitchen. The Con Tho has lost a lot of quality, which is a shame.

Super tasty. You can come here for the vegetarian and vegan options. Or because it's just so unusual and tastes good. Only the toilets could use a renovation - but that's complaining at a high level.

The chairs aren't the most comfortable. Otherwise everything was great.

The friendly service was particularly attentive. Luckily, the food is almost always delicious, fresh and, above all, easy to digest. Your stomach and intestines literally celebrated.

All vegetarian and vegan food. Amazing taste and beautiful looking. My go to place to impress visitors! Adore the Crèpes - it's impressive to see the dish being served at your table, then you start the adventure of "creating" your own summer rolls.

A lovely hidden gem in Hasenheide. Everything on the menu is excellent and original. The setting is very special and calming and the staff are friendly.

Sensationally delicious and lots of new flavors that we haven't had before with Vietnamese. Every starter and main course was a delight. 🙏🏻

Spices were good but only a few "duck meat sides" and the limp tofu with cucumber didn't taste good. Portion wasn't really big either.

Great vegetarian place with original and innovative dishes!

The ambience is great, the service is great and the food is really tasty. The specialists immediately recognized when you had made your choice of food and drink and took the order professionally. In my opinion, the drink and the food were prepared and delivered in a really good time. At the end, tea lights were put up, which added a nice glow to the ambience. Overall it was a nice experience. (^u^)-b (PS: If you want to sit outside with several people, it's best to reserve a table)

Delicious lunch and great service!

Worst experience of my life in a restaurant. Manager of the evening was disrespectful and violent. Food took one hour to arrive and came with a hair inside. Food looked beautiful but was not tasty. Definitely never coming back. Once in a life time experience!

I’ve been coming back to this place for years with my family, the food is so flavourful - we love the rice bowls in particular! The decor is also nice, not over the top and sitting outside is very pleasant amongst the bamboo and trees. Service is friendly and very efficient!

The kind of place you go to if you like pink crepe

Fantastic Vietnamese food, vegan and vegetarian, dedicated and original recipes at very fair prices, great service. Unfortunately we were only able to eat here twice before our vacation was over, but we'll definitely be back! We also enjoyed going to the restaurant beforehand (Vietnamese) 😀

Fantastic! The food is not run-of-the-mill but very creative and an absolute culinary delight. The two of us had 4 starters and a medium dish. We were fed up. We'd love to come back!

Delicious exciting food and reasonably priced

the menu features some special dishes, vibe is really nice + staff are attentive. i usually go for the celery garden salad, hot rabbit, or a savoury crêpe. their fresh teas + popeye drink are also recommended be sure to read their “story” on the front page of the menu - cuute hehe 🐇

Amazing location; average food. It is such a pity that this atmospheric place lacks quality and better service. Food is on the greasy side and doesn’t cover deficiencies in flavour. Staff are oddly aloof. Not something to be repeated.

Top Quality Food and Service. Probably the best pho I’ve had in Berlin. Got a table (1 person) for 1 hour in their cozy garden, on a Friday evening without reservation.

We went here for lunch and sat outside. Compliment, you are sitting in the middle of Neukölln and the bamboo makes you feel like you are somewhere in nature. The food was very tasty and the menu also had something special. I had the curry that had almost a whole sweet potato. Delicious! You could also get lunch for €10. The staff was very nice. We thought it was beautiful!

Super delicious food. Four dishes we tried were very tasty and original. The restaurant has a really stringent concept. Employees are courteous and professional. The terrace is beautiful and invites you to linger. Prices are cheaper than reasonable. A coincidence due to one Concert nearby. Will be back soon!

Great place! I am a picky eater and had my reservations about it at first but the food turned out really good. Dishes came fast and eating in the garden felt like eating in a tropical forest, not in the middle of a huge city. Will definitely come again.

I really liked the place, themed but not kitsch, with an outdoor area that isn't huge but pleasant. The food seemed cheap but good, with a slightly different offering compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in the city. The service doesn't require many words but I liked it because on a not very crowded day it made the experience very intimate.

The pho is just insane good!! Fresh, aromatic, so much good flavours at once! As well as black rolls and spring snow. Recommend!

I used to like coming to eat twice a year. For a while it was difficult to even get a table. This time it was very disappointing. The Hot Rabbit had a lot of rice...and rice...and rice and very, very few vegetables on top. That used to be much better!

Excellent Vietnamese restaurant. Everything is vegetarian or vegan but nothing is missing: beautiful colorful presentations, subtle tastes, original dishes. We tested the baked eggplants and the rice cakes. Vietnamese coffee specialties are also delicious (milk foam with lime zest)

Very tasty and attractively prepared food. The early closing time is rather unusual for Berlin. At 10 p.m. on a Thursday we suddenly found ourselves alone in the entire restaurant, which made us leave.

Excellent. Whenever I visit Berlin I never fail to come here and I am never disappointed. Although I normally eat meat, I find their dishes (vegetarian/vegan only) delicious, rich and always original.

Direkt gegenüber der Hasenheide befindet sich (passenderweise) das vegetarische Restaurant Con Tho. Ich war dort gegen 14 Uhr an einem Freitag und es gab viele freie Plätze. Das Essen, ich hatte das Thymian Curry, und auch der Tee „Golden Nectar“ waren sehr gut.

AMAZING! We ordered Crispy Cubes, Small but Mighty, Curry and the Happy Monk. It was fabulous! Amazing experience: the place is amazing, the food is one of the best I’ve ever had, super (SUPER) fast. Also the red lemonade (that I forgot the name) was INSANELY delicious. The only con is that it’s not super international-friendly. They do have English menus, you might have to ask for. Also to pay it was a bit hard because of the language. But overall it’s amazing.

If you want vegan food that is tasty, here is where you can get some. Their spice game is on a whole another level. We had the Pho and ”Happy Monk” with extra mushrooms. Both were incredibly well seasoned and as I like spicy they gave me fresh chili as well as their own chili and garlic sauces. Two happy customers will be back!

Correct mais sans plus. L’originalité c’est que tout le menu est végétarien. Mais le goût n’est pas incroyable. Ce qui était le plus gênant c’est la propreté: les serveurs posent les plats sur une table salle plutôt que de passer un coup de chiffon avant de donner les plats. Les toilettes ne sont pas nickel non plus.

Tolles Restaurant, ich bin begeistert - über alles. Der Service war exzellent, das Essen auch. Unbedingt die Crêpe probieren, ein Erlebnis für mehrere Sinne!

Für das Essen bei Con Tho fehlen mir die Worte. So gut habe ich noch selten gegessen. Ein Must-See Ort in Berlin für alle Liebhaber der vegetarischen und vietnamesischen Küche. Leicht, raffiniert, herzlich, sehr schönes Ambiente.

Hot place in terms of interior, atmosphere, drinks… just the food: it depends on what you order. I have been here 2 times and highly recommend the Banh Xeo dishes and I absolutely disliked the yellow bowl (with fried noodles).

Un des meilleurs asiatiques que j ai gouté. Vraiment excellent. Bouillon épicé merveilleusement, mélange de légumes varié et frais. Herbes aromatiques fraiches et très goûteuses. Cadre agréable.

Not recommended for GF. A friend of mine called prior to ensure they could accommodate for GF, specifically celiac. I ordered the classic bowl GF option. When I received the bowl I asked for confirmation that it was GF without seitan, this was confirmed. After eating for a few minutes I realized that there were two different types of what I thought was tofu. Unfortunately one was seitain. When I asked the waiter to confirm if it was GF their intial answer was yes, but when I pushed they finally went to the kitchen to confirm I had been given gluten. My meal was replaced but that was all. In 10 + years I have not been served gluten when out. Everyone else really enjoyed their meal, however I would not recommend it if you have dietary needs.

Definitiv mein lieblings vietnamesiches Restaurant in Berlin. Das Essen ist super lecker. Ich war schon so oft dort essen, dass ich so gut wie jedes Gericht ausprobiert habe. Meine Favoriten sind der Happy Monk und der Saigon Street Wrap. Das Con Tho ist sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das ganze Service Personal ist überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. 10/10 sehr zu empfehlen !!!

Für mich ein Vietnamese mit Soulfood :) Veggi oder Vegan , es gibt so viel Auswahl ! Trotz Reservierung für drinnen konnten wir nach draußen wechseln. Waren zu dritt und haben einfach drei mittlere und drei kleine Speisen geteilt & es hat super gereicht. Mein Favorit waren das Süßkartoffelnetz mit Seitan & der Tofu in Koskosmilch Zum Nachtisch gabs noch den Cheesecake & die Banane im Klebereismantel - Yummy ! Der Service war aufmerksam & freundlich. Das Essen kam recht schnell.

Schlimmstes Essen das ich je gegessen habe in nem Restaurant. Das Getränk wo Mango drin stand, schmeckt einfach nach purem Gras. Yellow bowl war viel zu krass gewürzt, mir wurde schlecht nach ein paar Löffeln. Pho bestand nur aus Frühlingszwiebeln, Pilzen und geschmacklosem Tofu. Da war das Tofu in der yellow bowl leckerer weil es frittiert wurde. Der Salat war auch komisch, irgendein Ding was ich nicht identifizieren konnte und eklig geschmeckt hat und die Hälfte war Soja Sprossen. Hatte danach Durchfall, 40€ verschwendet.

Menù con un font talmente piccolo da essere illegibile. Siamo state seguite da una ragazza tanto carina quanto maleducata che fin da subito ha dimostrato insofferenza nei nostri confronti, forse perché eravamo non sufficientemente giovani e cool per i suoi standard. Non si è segnata le ordinazioni, dopo un'ora di attesa ci è venuta a dire che in cucina avevano perso la comanda, le abbiamo ripetuto le pietanze che avevamo ordinato e alla fine ci ha portato tutt'altro. Alla luce della misera candelina che illuminava il tavolo non abbiamo potuto vedere cosa mangiavamo. Il cibo non era male ma non torneremo mai più.

Ich finde das Restaurant klasse! Die Kellner sind immer freundlich. Hier bekommt man vietnamesisches Essen, bei dem sich Gedanken gemacht wurde, ausgefallene Kombis und schmecken tut (fast) alles! Ich komme hier immer wieder her und kann nur empfehlen, mehrere kleine Gerichte zum probieren zu bestellen :)

Das Essen ist wirklich lecker! ABER!!! Wir wurden an einem Platz direkt unter ein Busch platziert in dem SEHR VIELE Vögel unterwegs waren. Die Ausscheidungen der Vögel landeten in unserem Essen und unseren Drinks. Trotz Hinweis gab es kein Entgegenkommen des Personals. Ein absolutes NO GO!

Absolutes GO TO in der Ecke. Nicht nur 0815 vietnamesische Gerichte auf der Karte. Der Tofu als Vorspeise sehr zu empfehlen. Das Curry mit Birne liebe ich auch. Service immer süß und schnell.

Nee also sorry, die Preise sind echt überzogen und das Essen ist eher unterdurchschnittlich. Ich liebe sonst vietnamesisch, hier wurde ich wirklich enttäuscht und 4 von meinen 5 Mitstreiter:innen waren ebenfalls nicht sehr angetan.
