Con Tho in Berlin

The Hulk Burger is simply amazing. I've eaten it there three times already with different friends and everyone thought it was fantastic.

I've been here several times – the "Hulk Burger" is incredibly delicious, I hope it stays on the menu permanently. One of the best burgers I've ever eaten. The green pesto that comes with it is also amazing. I just don't think it needs the edamame.

One of the best restaurants in Berlin, incredibly cozy both inside and out, so perfect for summer and winter too. Delicious food! And almost everything is vegan.

Such a charming owner and place!

Very nice lunch experience. We sat outside in the beautiful little yard. The staff is super kind. The menu, all vegetarian and vegan is so interesting and you have to go there more often to learn more about these creative dishes. All dishes with gluten are also available gluten-free. The food was delicious.

Starter, main course, and dessert... We were delighted with the taste of three dishes. Super delicious, very fresh, and authentically tasty. The service was also very attentive. We'd love to come back and try more of the menu. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the terrace, surrounded by greenery—and all this in the middle of the city.

We've visited the restaurant many times and love the food and the ambiance. Today we were here again to celebrate a birthday with many guests. The service staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was, as always, excellent. Thank you so much!

What a cool surprise, a really different variety of Vietnamese food than I am used to in canada ( Phó and roll dips) I had the turmeric pancakes with tofu and vegetables. It was fresh and huge and delicious. Great atmosphere and really fun Berlin people watching spot.

Had the Dragon bowl noodle soup. It was fine as a dish, but for the portion size and smattering of vegetables and mushrooms, could have been a 9 euro dish and not a 14 euro one.

Great food with interesting variations on traditional dishes. The hulk burger was extraordinary and very creative, a lot of different textures and well balanced tangy flavors. The pho was simple but clean and well made. Not as intense of a flavor as you would find in a more “authentic” pho spot, but very good still.

The vegan seitan was so hard it was almost impossible to eat. Too many onions. Unfortunately, there wasn't much choice for vegan dessert. Better to return it. €18

🌿”Afternoon Break” 🫔 is tasty, vivid-colored Banh Xeo DIY wrapped in rice paper but of higher price (than fresh spring roll), however the banana and red cabbage are quite muddy on the edge (I’ve already rubbed off a lot of mud from the banana pic), don’t think they washed throughly. 🚫“Saigon Summer” 🍛 not recommended, unpeeled sweet potato with dark salty sauce is just off, had a similar dish in another Asian fusion place it just shouldn’t work like that, the rice is also mashed together with other unappealing dark salty veggies, for Asian standard this is not ok. 🌿The cheesecake dessert 🍮 is creative and interesting, but it’s really not cheesecake, more like some egg cake. 🌿Lemonade🍹all good. 🐝Be aware the wasps are really aggressive, they will fight most of the time to dominate your dipping sauce and dessert. Be prepared to share. 🌿Nice environment dinning outdoor, chairs are uncomfortable. Interior also nice. Service is very friendly.

The food is still great. But if you know that your kitchen is understaffed, warn the guests instead of letting them wait one hour even for the starters!

I've rarely had such delicious vegan food as here. Our dishes were also very creative and high-quality. The service was also super friendly and attentive. A definite recommendation :-)

When the weather is nice it is great to sit in that beautiful garden that they have in front, it feels like in an oasis in hermannplatz :) Luciano was very nice and professional, if you are vegan it is a perfect choice.

The place is super nice, the service is excellent, and the dishes are vegan and very tasty. The Happy Monk and Hulk Burgers are my favorites.

One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Berlin. For many years, they've been serving creative, fresh, and flavorful vegetarian dishes that are a welcome departure from the usual monotony. Definitely go there and share a variety of dishes. In summer, it's lovely to sit in the bamboo garden and forget that you're sitting on the busy and not-so-pretty Hasenheide.

Food not good, service was nice and atmosphere is great, it promised more than it delivers. Expensive tasteless smush.

We came here for a great meal. Since this restaurant had been hyped up by the press, we were full of anticipation. I have to say, our expectations were more than exceeded. Wonderful food and great service. What prompted me to give it only 3 stars, however, were the restrooms. The men's area, at least, was a disgrace at the time of our visit. Two of the two urinals were out of order, and the condition of the only usable restroom was very questionable. In a restaurant with a supposedly impeccable reputation, I expect better. But, as I said, the food and service were terrific.

I came across the restaurant based on the positive Google reviews. But unfortunately, it was quite a disappointment, as the food we ordered arrived after just 10 minutes, which was an indicator that the food wasn't freshly prepared but simply heated. And that's exactly how it tasted. In both dishes we ordered, all the ingredients were simply mixed together, which didn't look very appealing and also tasted like cafeteria food. Both meals resulted in us spending the next few hours with stomachaches. Otherwise, the ambiance was nice, and the service was, of course, good, but that doesn't help in the end if you go to a restaurant to get a stomachache.

First of all, a compliment to the team for the absolutely fantastic food and the great service. We were absolutely thrilled with it. What doesn't work at all is the toilet situation. I almost fell on my face over a broken tile in front of the men's toilet, the cleanliness even in the toilet was catastrophic. Likewise according to my girlfriend in the ladies' room. Something urgently needs to be done. It's actually a shame because we really had a fantastic meal.

Was there a few years ago and had very nice memories. When I visited yesterday I was very disappointed with the condition. Cards, cutlery, furniture, decorations — everything looked very ragged. The women's toilet was completely broken, and the men's toilet didn't look nice either. The online reservation also doesn't work, which we didn't need. There was very little going on on Sunday evenings. Other than that, the food was quite tasty, the drinks didn't have that much flavor. The operation wasn't yet trained (but was very nice) - an experienced person on the side would certainly have been helpful. It's a real shame because the map and location are actually great.

The Buddha Bowl was amazing. There is a flavour journey in every bite. Watch out for the chili pepper 😭🔥

Having wanted to do so for a long time, I have now visited Con Tho several times and can absolutely recommend it. Really good and creative fusion dishes (Vietnamese/European/Mediterranean). Some dishes are surprising, others are classic in the best sense (wonderful pho!). The ambience is nice and the service staff are very nice and attentive. I would like to come more often now.

Very good Vietnamese vegan cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. So far we have always been able to get a place without a reservation, but if you are traveling in a group, I would recommend a reservation. The food tastes really good and the service is very nice and attentive. I don't recommend taking a starter as the main courses are really filling and sufficient. Nevertheless, I have an appetizer every time because it is just so delicious.

Particularmente me gusta que las comidas no sean demasiado grandes (puedes pedir más guarniciones si sientes que tu comida no es suficiente, o dejar espacio para el postre) , odio desperdiciar comida. Volveremos la próxima vez que estemos en Berlín.

Food quality has deteriorated a lot. The vegetarian duck used to be twice as big. Wine selection almost non-existent. Toilets not clean. Bad sewer smell coming from the kitchen. The Con Tho has lost a lot of quality, which is a shame.

Super tasty. You can come here for the vegetarian and vegan options. Or because it's just so unusual and tastes good. Only the toilets could use a renovation - but that's complaining at a high level.

The chairs aren't the most comfortable. Otherwise everything was great.

Great vegetarian place with original and innovative dishes!

The ambience is great, the service is great and the food is really tasty. The specialists immediately recognized when you had made your choice of food and drink and took the order professionally. In my opinion, the drink and the food were prepared and delivered in a really good time. At the end, tea lights were put up, which added a nice glow to the ambience. Overall it was a nice experience. Worst experience of my life in a restaurant. Manager of the evening was disrespectful and violent. Food took one hour to arrive and came with a hair inside. Food looked beautiful but was not tasty. Definitely never coming back. Once in a life time experience!

I’ve been coming back to this place for years with my family, the food is so flavourful - we love the rice bowls in particular! The decor is also nice, not over the top and sitting outside is very pleasant amongst the bamboo and trees. Service is friendly and very efficient!

Fantastic Vietnamese food, vegan and vegetarian, dedicated and original recipes at very fair prices, great service. Unfortunately we were only able to eat here twice before our vacation was over, but we'll definitely be back! We also enjoyed going to the restaurant beforehand (Vietnamese) 😀

the menu features some special dishes, vibe is really nice + staff are attentive. i usually go for the celery garden salad, hot rabbit, or a savoury crêpe. their fresh teas + popeye drink are also recommended be sure to read their “story” on the front page of the menu - cuute hehe 🐇

Amazing location; average food. It is such a pity that this atmospheric place lacks quality and better service. Food is on the greasy side and doesn’t cover deficiencies in flavour. Staff are oddly aloof. Not something to be repeated.

Top Quality Food and Service. Probably the best pho I’ve had in Berlin. Got a table (1 person) for 1 hour in their cozy garden, on a Friday evening without reservation.

We went here for lunch and sat outside. Compliment, you are sitting in the middle of Neukölln and the bamboo makes you feel like you are somewhere in nature. The food was very tasty and the menu also had something special. I had the curry that had almost a whole sweet potato. Delicious! You could also get lunch for €10. The staff was very nice. We thought it was beautiful!

Super delicious food. Four dishes we tried were very tasty and original. The restaurant has a really stringent concept. Employees are courteous and professional. The terrace is beautiful and invites you to linger. Prices are cheaper than reasonable. A coincidence due to one Concert nearby. Will be back soon!
