Super cool location with a great atmosphere, a very interesting menu, and a great selection of drinks.

The food was delicious, including several good vegan options; definitely recommended for vegans. The service was always prompt, and there was a wide selection of cocktails.

We received a very warm welcome, but after waiting for over 30 minutes at our table, we left. We didn't even get a drink during that time. There was no communication at all! It was very loud thanks to the music, and it was also quite crowded.

Very pleasant ambiance. Extensive selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Our food was excellent both visually and tastefully, and the portions were perfectly adequate. However, guests with a very large appetite are advised to order an appetizer. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

Service was great, food was delicious, and the wait for the food was short. We got round shots on the house. We were there with a group of 13 people. Really great!!!

This is what gastronomy is like today! Everything is very stylish: the furnishings and decor, the food and drinks on offer, and even the staff. I, who's actually still an old-school waiter, love this new style of gastronomy. The service staff are young, modern, relaxed, open-minded, uncomplicated, cheerful, never flippant or disrespectful, but friendly and attentive, and they take care of the guests' well-being. All the dishes I tried (shrimp, pepper steak, churros) were excellent, the portions generous, and the prices completely reasonable. My sincere thanks to the entire team at Monos Kassel for the lovely summer evening.

We walked into the restaurant before it opened, and they politely told us they were closed, but we could still sit down. Although it was only for a few minutes, it wasn't typical for most restaurants. The service was excellent. The food was extremely filling and very, very tasty. You can't complain about the drinks either—they were just what you need with such a delicious meal. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I had a fantastic evening at Monos Kassel. From the reservation to the payment, everything was perfect. Our waiter, Delbaz, was also super friendly and accommodating. I spent my birthday here and got a lovely lava cake on the house. I was very happy. 😊

We were guests at Oli's. The service was top-notch and he knows what he's doing! I rarely give 5 stars, but I chose the restaurant based on the reviews, and they were spot on!

The service was super friendly and attentive. The food was fresh, delicious, and prepared to perfection. The meat in particular was top quality and perfectly cooked. We were completely satisfied—and you're happy to pay a little more for good food.

The food was delicious. The ambiance was nice, but the music got extremely loud after 7 p.m. Unfortunately, the very rude waiter ruined the evening. He was extremely subtly bitchy and passive aggressive. When you, as a server, encounter friendly customers, you should at least be as friendly as they were. It was as unpleasant as he was bitchy and rude. I don't think we'll be coming back for a while.

I was really pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. We had a reservation for five people and arrived as a party of eight. Luckily, that wasn't a problem. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the portions were perfectly adequate.

The cocktails were delicious, and the food was also really good. They even asked if they wanted their steak cooked well or medium. Even though it was pretty busy, the atmosphere was pleasant. The only thing I wasn't really into was the music.

Top location in Kassel. During our visit, the owner was the only one serving, the restaurant was packed, and yet he was incredibly friendly. He still gave us advice and apologized countless times for the wait (which was completely fine). The food was incredibly good, the drink selection was fantastic, and the evening was simply fantastic. 110% recommendation!!!

Wir wollten mit der Familie zum Geburtstag meiner Frau einen netten Abend verbringen, leider ist Einiges im Monos schief gegangen. Getränkebestellung: Sohn Nr. 1 möchte Rotwein: Es gibt keinen Rotwein, Sohn Nr. 2 bestellt einen Jin Tonic, bekommt einen süßen Jin Fizz. Wir haben zunächst nur die Vorspeise bestellt und gesagt das wir mit der Bestellung der Hauptspeise noch etwas warten möchten. 5 Minuten später stand die Bedienung wieder da um die Bestellung der Hauptspeise aufzunehmen, das haben wir dann gemacht, das war der Fehler, denn wir hatten die Vorspeise erst zu 50% gegessen, da wurde die Hauptspeise gebracht. Wir konnten uns aussuchen ob die Vorspeise oder die Hauptspeise kalt wird. Wir fühlten uns sehr gehetzt. Das Steak meines Sohnes kam später, war jedoch nicht Medium wie bestellt, sondern fast roh. Er hat darum gebeten, es nochmals zu braten. Im 2. Anlauf war es dann durch und zäh, nicht essbar. Er hat 1/3 auf dem Teller liegen gelassen. Es war offensichtlich das wir unzufrieden waren, trotzdem: abwechselnd kamen 2 Kellnerinnen um zu fragen ob wir denn auch zufrieden wären. Wir werden wohl nicht wieder ins Monos gehen.

We waited for hours for our food, the nachos baked with cheese were cold, edamame were frozen food, bulgur was dry and tasteless, everything was overpriced. Service bad. No recommendation.

The ambience is great. We expected much more when it came to food.

My friends and I were in Kassel for a day and ended up going to Monos to end the day. Oliver and his colleagues really impressed us here. The service impressed with its friendly and charming manner and, above all, its high level of flexibility. The food and drinks were different than normal in Kassel... very good and really top quality. My recommendation to everyone who wants to have a nice and pleasant evening with humor and good food!

Relaxed and modern ambiance, offering a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as snacks and food. We tried various cocktails, including the Long Island, Sweet Dreams, and Touchdown. They were very well mixed :)

Was super tasty. We'll definitely be back in the near future On the negative side, however, you have to say that it is damn loud in the restaurant (the music is turned up very loud).

We dropped in spontaneously, and even though it was really busy, we were taken care of right away. I had a delicious non-alcoholic cocktail and a Caesar salad. The ambiance, music, and food/cocktail were all very good. The service was fast, attentive, and very friendly. I'd love to come back.

Went there for the first time yesterday and we were lucky to spontaneously get a table for 5 on a Saturday evening. The service was great, the food was really tasty and the cocktails were also tasty. We didn't have to wait long, even though the restaurant was completely full and we expected a long wait for our food. We don't come from Kassel and only saw that evening when we saw the print on the napkins that Monos was also recently available in Fritzlar. We'll go there next and hope it's just as good as in Kassel.

We were here again for the first time after the name change. The ambience for the enchelada has improved and the menu is now less extensive but good. Only the kitchen team apparently still has to get used to it, as they were a bit overwhelmed by the sometimes large groups of visitors that evening. That's why everything took a little longer than usual. But otherwise definitely worth a visit.

Disappointing experience – never again! We had a really miserable experience at this restaurant. Our food arrived over an hour late, even though the restaurant wasn't even full. Absolutely unacceptable! The tables were tiny - far too small to eat comfortably. We had to constantly rearrange our dishes because there was simply no space. It felt like they had crammed as many guests as possible into a small space. The service? Hardly there. No apology for the waiting time, no accommodation - instead our concerns were shrugged off. For the prices I would definitely have expected better service and more comfort. I can only strongly advise against eating here!

The food took EXTREMELY a long time...we waited almost an hour for two burritos...the service seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests...it's a shame, we won't be back

Hmmm, really a shame! I can't give a good review here. Eat with colleagues, come later and see how your colleagues eat. The service overlooks you and doesn't make any further inquiries after asking for a card... There is also a delay in paying colleagues because the service is always different.

We celebrated a birthday in your restaurant yesterday. The children were ordered burgers and after a while they felt sick. This morning the condition has not improved; three children are lying there with fever, nausea and stomach pain. We are very disappointed with the quality of the food... Unfortunately, I will not recommend your restaurant to anyone.

Very nice restaurant and bar. Rice pan with Chrispy Chicken is highly recommended. Cocktails are also very tasty and recommended. The only thing that bothered me was that the music was extremely loud and therefore communication was very difficult.

Food is loveless on a prison tray. The “burritos” were simply a chopped bag with a tomato in it for €17.90. Not recommended!

The food was good, but unfortunately it was difficult to get service because it was completely full. Unfortunately there wasn't even a menu left for us... we had to wait until one became available.

Unfortunately not a nice evening. After arriving it took a while before we could even order drinks. The drinks were ordered together with a starter (olives, prawns and bruschetta) and the main course. The drinks came quickly, but the trouble started with the wait for the food. After about 30 minutes we asked the waiter when the starters would come, we were told off with the words "It's coming soon". Another 25 minutes later, we asked the next waitress about the starter and told her that the main course could be brought straight away. After about 75 minutes, our ordered starter arrived, unfortunately without a main course... The initial hunger was now stopped, but the frustration steadily increased. Several minutes passed again and more drink orders were placed. After three more questions from different waitresses, we were just put off. It has now been 2 hours since the order was placed!!!! past. After 2 hours and 15 minutes we finally had our food. The beef fillet on the grill plate was good, hence 2 stars. Unfortunately the potato wedges were cold. All in all, we know Monos from Fritzlar, things went much better there. We will probably avoid Kassel in the future. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly polite and, above all, not honest. She could have communicated with us and said openly that it would take a while today. Unfortunately she missed this opportunity.
