Monos in Kassel

Food is loveless on a prison tray. The “burritos” were simply a chopped bag with a tomato in it for €17.90. Not recommended!

The food was good, but unfortunately it was difficult to get service because it was completely full. Unfortunately there wasn't even a menu left for us... we had to wait until one became available.

What can I say? It was our first time there and definitely not the last time. All I can say is that it was “food porn”. The cocktails were a burner. The staff. Great keep it up 👍🏻💪🏻

Incredibly good burgers!!! 🍔 Wings were OK. Unfortunately only 0.2L Coke… too small for me personally. Ambiance is very, very cozy. Gladly again!

Unfortunately not a nice evening. After arriving it took a while before we could even order drinks. The drinks were ordered together with a starter (olives, prawns and bruschetta) and the main course. The drinks came quickly, but the trouble started with the wait for the food. After about 30 minutes we asked the waiter when the starters would come, we were told off with the words "It's coming soon". Another 25 minutes later, we asked the next waitress about the starter and told her that the main course could be brought straight away. After about 75 minutes, our ordered starter arrived, unfortunately without a main course... The initial hunger was now stopped, but the frustration steadily increased. Several minutes passed again and more drink orders were placed. After three more questions from different waitresses, we were just put off. It has now been 2 hours since the order was placed!!!! past. After 2 hours and 15 minutes we finally had our food. The beef fillet on the grill plate was good, hence 2 stars. Unfortunately the potato wedges were cold. All in all, we know Monos from Fritzlar, things went much better there. We will probably avoid Kassel in the future. Unfortunately, the service wasn't particularly polite and, above all, not honest. She could have communicated with us and said openly that it would take a while today. Unfortunately she missed this opportunity.

From the ambience to the service to the food and the aperitifs, it was a great experience. We would always go to monos and enjoy a nice evening.

I was there with my girlfriend and two friends. Once and never again. My girlfriend's fries were extremely and I mean extremely greasy. Nobody was interested but at least he offered new ones. The citizen's bread was absolutely tough for all of us and the burger is served on paper, which is soggy and absolutely disgusting. The fact that the burgers are extremely greasy only makes this worse. The waitress doesn't care at all. I told her and she said I knew. We would have preferred to leave without paying. Seldom eaten so badly.

I was here for dinner with my boyfriend and two acquaintances. Unfortunately, my fries arrived extremely greasy. They were shiny and the fat practically ran out. Even McDonald’s is much better! My friend had a soggy burger, served on soggy, broken paper. We go out to eat every weekend but luckily something like this happens very rarely.

We ate here, everything was totally greasy. In addition, the burgers were all served on trays with paper, which was soggy within seconds due to the fat and then stuck to the burger. In addition, one of my patties was completely raw, and my friend's entire burger was also raw. All in all, it was worse than McDonald's in terms of both service and food. The waiters answer snidely and disinterestedly.

We ate here and will never do so again. Pattys were COMPLETELY raw and still very cold inside. After we reported this we asked if they should be new patties. The new patties were completely black and too salty. The burger bun is like rubber. Burger felt like it was served on thin newspaper, which then stuck to the burger because everything was soggy. Waitress unreasonable, in other restaurants you would have gotten “compensation”.

The overall concept is right here, the food tastes good, the service is good and the atmosphere is very cozy and nice, we were amazed at how nice it is here because we hadn't stayed here before. I would happily recommend it to everyone.

We had already reserved a table for three people three weeks in advance and were already looking forward to a lovely evening. But after we waited for the food at 1:40 a.m., the mood was in the basement. Sorry, but that doesn't work at all. There was also no indication that it might take longer due to the workload. We were completely ignored. We probably won't eat there again.

I've been there once so far and I found the alcoholic drinks (cocktails) both quite strong so that the taste was unfortunately lost...

Waited for an order and when it was taken we also waited for the food itself, which was a shame...

Per: - fast, friendly, professional despite many guests - were able to expand from a small table reservation to several people, and that on a Saturday - No-question compensation for incorrect orders Cons - Falafel were frozen, that's not how real falafel tastes like :) - Soup was brought incorrectly, since I am not a meat eater and the restaurant is not Halal, it was very "painful" for me to eat a dish here and find out that it had meat. The waiter actually should have seen this because the soups look completely different and had to cross-check the order before serving

Unique because never again! Our drinks only came after 50 minutes when we asked, apparently because the paper in the receipt printer was empty and the order wasn't printed. The starter came again 40 minutes later at the same time as the main course and was fairly neutral in taste and on a slate plate, which made mixing bulgur and vegetables quite difficult. The ventilation was blowing so that all the guests were sitting there with scarves and then the waiter slapped the bill on the table because he only got a 10 cent tip...and that only because he couldn't give it out.

Unsere Getränke kamen erst auf Nachfrage nach 50 Minuten, angeblich weil genau bei uns das Papier im Bondrucker leer war und die Bestellung nicht gedruckt wurde. Die Vorspeise kam nochmal 40 Minuten später gleichzeitig mit dem Hauptgang und war geschmacklich ziemlich neutral und auf einer Schieferplatte, was das mischen von Bulgur und Gemüse ziemlich schwierig machte. Die Lüftung hat so gezogen, dass alle Gäste mit Schal da saßen und dann hat der Kellner noch die Rechnung auf den Tisch geklatscht weil er nur 10 cent Trinkgeld bekommen hat....und die auch nur, weil er nicht raus geben konnte.

We had the simplest order but waited for more than an hour even though the new visitors who came after us had already brought their orders. Our order was brought to us when we couldn't stand it and asked how long we should wait. It feels like they just forgot about us. spoiled impression

Atmosphere was quite good but our mystic mango was more like fruit juice and the strawberry daiquiri tasted a lot like cheap alcohol. Both also tasted very artificial. Unfortunately not a good end to the evening

I had reserved a table for a birthday party, which I was promised would be available for our group for several hours. We were then told on site that our table had been passed on because this group (which was already sitting at the table we had actually reserved!!) was larger than ours. Actually, this wouldn't have been a problem if they DIDN'T promise you the table!!!! It was also portrayed as being our own fault because we were a little late, even though we had called to let them know and were told it wouldn't be a problem!! That was the end of the birthday mood! Thanks for that. Company just can't keep its word!! Very unfortunate.

The atmosphere in MONOS is really very inviting. The service is great, very attentive and polite. The food tasted very good 👍 Depending on the dish, the quantity could be a little more and depending on the dish the price is very borderline. If you're just looking for a drink and a snack, you're in good hands here.

There are better dining options in Kassel.

Möbius (before) was much better. The menu is not that good. No noodles. That's really a shame. I always thought the ones with salmon and cream sauce were so delicious. Can't they be reintroduced? I think noodles are part of it somehow. No, not good anymore

The restaurant is highly recommended, the food was delicious and the service was super friendly and adapted exactly to our sense of humor. Really great service. Unfortunately the atmosphere of the restaurant was a bit too dark for my taste, but nothing that would spoil a great evening with friends and family.

Overall, I liked the Monos restaurant. The waitresses were really very friendly and attentive, so we immediately felt at home. The cocktails were delicious and came quickly too, which is always a plus. I thought the food was very good, but unfortunately some of the knives were a bit too dull to be able to cut properly. My companion wasn't too keen on her chicken skewer - she said it tasted too much like frozen food. However, I can't judge that because I haven't tried it myself. Overall it was a nice evening with a few drawbacks.

Bruschetta and the lava cake were very tasty. The main course, however, was a bland bowl with soggy rice. The cocktails were also mixed rather carelessly and there was a lack of decoration. The location is beautifully designed, but you definitely have to change something about the ventilation. There is a lack of oxygen and you can smell the toilets strongly. The service is nice.

Terribly understaffed on the Thursday evening we visited, both drinks and food arrived after a very long wait. Side dish was served with gluten, even when allergies were clearly communicated. Food was average, but reasonably priced.

A really great “Noble Monkey” location. Good starters and main courses and very good cocktails and teas too! We tried a lot - everything was very tasty! Parking nearby is quite good. We had very friendly service and it was a great evening!

I celebrated my birthday there. There were 10 people in total. I love the interior of Monos. You immediately feel comfortable. The drinks were brought super quickly. The cocktails were very tasty and also had a good alcohol content ;) The food was beautifully prepared and also tasted very good. Definitely coming back!

Super nice location in the center of Kassel. You can relax and enjoy a good drink or have a delicious meal. I personally think it is one of the best and most beautiful restaurants in Kassel. I'm always happy to come by. The service staff are super hard-working and you get served pretty quickly. Never been disappointed with the food. My recommendation are the mozzarella sticks! In terms of price, the restaurant is rather upscale but it's worth it! See you next time.

We had dinner at MONOS with business colleagues. We were greeted quickly and had tables that were nicely separated. The service was always quick and always responded well to the circumstances that such a larger group entails. I chose the nachos as a starter with the vegan garlic as a dip and the vegetarian timbale as a main course. Both recommended. In addition, the vegetarian and vegan dishes are well marked on the menu. It was my first visit and won't be the last :)

+40 minutes waiting time for food even though the shop was still almost empty when we arrived (6 p.m.) and had 3 children with us, then food from another table was delivered + 1x main course after a soup starter was only received when we asked if it was still coming everyone else had already finished eating. Food (bowl, tingale) overall little to no seasoning but rather lukewarm raw vegetable salad. Ambiance is nice, but more of a bar/lounge that also offers food. Carpet in the entrance area broken and stuck with tape! From the outside, Google rating and food offering, it was a promising place, but in the end it left someone rather disappointed. Sorry

Unfortunately, the service leaves something to be desired, especially with large groups. The food was tasty but unfortunately it didn't arrive at the same time, so many were already finished or it was eaten cold. The price is way too high for these conditions... We won't be coming back.

We ate here with work colleagues and the service was really good, even though it was so huge! We had our own room, which I thought was great. I liked the food, the burger was OK, the soup was very, very good! On average, everyone was satisfied with food. Unfortunately the room was at the back and of course the air was super stuffy at some point.
