You don't often find such a beautiful atmosphere with great food. It was a great experience eating with you. Big praise to the two boys (kitchen and service) and to Mona.

Super tasty food and. very very friendly service. We had lunch including wine accompaniment and really enjoyed it. A tip: if you want a lavish lunch, go late or let us know in advance - we were lucky that no one had booked after us because there are two slots (which I overlooked in the reservation confirmation) as the place is really tiny .

A great restaurant with a very well coordinated menu 👌 The dishes are all incredibly creative and delicious. Unfortunately, there is a star deduction for the size of the portions. We were guests with 4 people. Everyone was enthusiastic about the quality of the food, but unfortunately they weren't really full after the greetings from the kitchen, starter, main course and dessert. The vegetarian dishes in particular could be a little larger, as unfortunately you won't be able to eat four salsify and a small bowl of puree. The subsequent cheese variation was also very manageable. However, it should also be mentioned at this point that the prices are fair and not overpriced. We'll definitely be back!

I honestly expected a bit more from this experience based on all the good reviews. Maybe the food menu during that week wasn’t to my taste, so I’m trying to be fair. Firstly, the restaurant ambience wasn’t the best – a bit too simple in my opinion, and the space felt a little tight. While I understand the aim for a cozy vibe, it leaned more toward being overly simplistic in terms of decoration. Additionally, the ventilation could have been better, as we could smell fried food throughout the meal, which was a bit distracting. In terms of timing, the main dishes came 40-50 minutes after the appetizers, which felt a bit long. For the food itself, we tried all three main dishes of the day: • The Pigeon (Pigeon, choux rouge, radicchio, café): This wasn’t for me. The combination with raw coffee beans was unusual, and the texture felt a bit tough. My partner had a similar reaction, so it might be worth reconsidering this dish. • The Fish (Sandre, algues, choux bruxelles): This dish wasn’t bad, but it felt like it was missing something. A bit more seasoning might have brought out the flavors better. • The Vegan Mushroom (Clavaire crépue): This was enjoyable and well-prepared, with a nice flavor that stood out among the dishes. On the positive side, the waiter was kind enough to add candles on the dessert for my girlfriend’s birthday, which was a thoughtful touch. Also, I found the pricing very reasonable, and I would be open to giving it another try when the menu is updated. Overall, I left feeling a bit disappointed, but that could partly be due to the high expectations set by all the five-star reviews.

It was absolutely amazing! Rarely eaten so well. It's just that you come home and need another snack (even though we're actually rather frugal eaters). You could easily add a little bit more bread to the starter or maybe add another pinch of cheese to the knife points of cheese at the end... but as I said: we'll be happy to come back because it tasted exceptionally good.

Seasonal diverse Menu, creative mixture of tastes. Could profit from a slightly better, warmer or more attentive service and a neater interior. This place would deserve a Michelin star. The open kitchen is interesting, could sometimes smell strong though. Great choice for romantic dinner dates ;)

A PÉPITE restaurant! It's fresh, sophisticated, and I found everything extremely good. The quality/price ratio is very reasonable. The servers, who in my opinion play a big role in the quality of the moment, are professional and charming. I recommend with your eyes closed.

It was a wonderful evening with a fantastic meal that delighted us in every way. The creative and sometimes unexpected flavor combinations were a real highlight, each individual component perfectly coordinated with one another. Wonderful cozy restaurant to enjoy fine French cuisine. Arranged in tables of two/three, this foodie haven seats about 15. With an open kitchen, cozy French atmosphere - this place is perfect for first dates. Choose from vege, meat or fish. Enjoy gorgeous small bites and creative menus. I had the scallops, veal salad, and lemon tart - simply delicious. The prices are more than fair for the local seasonal quality. Vibe is relaxed, cozy, great service and food adds so much joy! Congratulations to the Chef. Reservations definitely recommended, walk ins after 20:00 possible. A great treat - don't miss out on this!

A very great little restaurant in a nice atmosphere with an open kitchen. The menu consists of just 1 starter, 3 main courses, 2 desserts - there is something for everyone. The prices are more than fair and the staff is very friendly. As a French woman, I will definitely come back often. A real coup de cœur!

Overall, the food was very tasty, decorative and exceptional. My portion of the main course was sufficient, at least for me as a woman. I didn't find the portions of two of my birthday guests enough to fill me up. There were no so-called filling side dishes such as potatoes, pasta or rice, but you could get bread. The selection of cheese for dessert was good and varied, but the individual pieces of cheese were much too small.

Very nice atmosphere, outstanding food, you feel very welcome. Unfortunately, as a tall person, it's a bit uncomfortable to sit. But it's definitely worth taking this into account.

Since the Coup de Coeur now opens in the evenings, we finally made it here. Cozy atmosphere, très francais, more Paris in the 20th than Munich and yet fits perfectly into the Westend. The service is personal, super friendly and skilfully manages the small restaurant. Cooking is provided by a chef in an open kitchen centrally located in the guest room. The menu changes regularly - we will definitely stop by more often. The menu is well thought out, no overflowing plates, no frills, really good food at a very good price for Munich. We were very satisfied with 3 courses, great evening, really nice atmosphere, it was just fun. Thank you!

Wonderfully uncomplicated. Very high quality, freshly prepared, excellent taste. We sat outside at lunchtime and had all the time in the world and were able to take a relaxing and enjoyable break. Thank you!

Although the trend in the catering industry is increasingly moving towards convenience, there is fortunately also a small countermovement. With this little pearl, Mona John proves that there is another way. A very fine menu with 3 main courses (fish, meat, vegetarian) paired with a starter and two desserts shows a clear line. Here the main ingredient is made into the protagonist - without a lot of chichi. The offer changes regularly. The service (Matthias) is attentive, friendly and, above all, humane and the open kitchen invites you to look over the shoulders of the chefs Isabell or Philipp at work. If I had to change something, it would just be the portions - unfortunately they are a bit too small and lack the filling carbohydrates. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and am excited about the new creations.

Everything was perfect, from start to finish. What a true gem this place is❤️. When I had the first bite of my beef I thought I died and went to heaven, I am not kidding! When I had the dessert - chocolate ganache with black garlic and berry sauce - I had tears of joy in my eyes. I found the cuisine quite daring and delicious. We had a starter, main course and dessert. And with each plate we enjoyed ourselves. Fresh products for sure. And each time we say to ourselves “well, that’s funny, I’ve never eaten a dish like that”. Always an ingredient that brings crunch/pep/surprise to the plate...I liked the place too: when you arrive you're drawn inside by the cozy side with the wood and the kitchen opened. The cook answered our questions live while cooking, it was fun. I think the wine list can still be expanded...I hope the prices will remain low because it's good to be such an affordable gastro in Munich 👍 Top Top Top Little dinner with friends to do again very quickly!

I recently had the pleasure to lunch at "Coup de Coeur". I must say it was an outstanding experience. I was warmly welcome and got directly a first very good impression. The restaurant might be small but really cozy. The real highlight was definitely the food. The chef de cuisine Mona John and her culinary skills are quite impressive when looking at the price of the dishes. Unbeatable in Munich. Each dish was made with highly qualitative ingredients which is really appreciable in the degustation… + whatever dish you take, you get always a surprise with new flavors. We really enjoyed it! I definitely recommend if you're at least 2, to take different dishes and share it to each other. You won't regret it! So, I can't recommend Coupe de Coeur highly enough. This is the place for a perfect lunch!

The food tastes good, but unfortunately a bit of the finishing touch is missing. The game leg should be a little less cooked and the “topping” for the dessert looks beautiful but has relatively little taste.

Familiar, simple restaurant whose concept we really liked. You're basically sitting in the kitchen :-) For lunch there's a small menu with three changing weekly dishes (meat, fish, vegetarian). Unusual and not expensive in terms of price. Don't miss dessert! We'd love to come back and wish you all the best until then!

Very good business lunch with French cuisine. The portions you get are rather small, but you notice the high quality and taste finesse. The quantity could be a bit more, especially since you don't get 5 courses or more here (unlike a 3 star menu). But that can definitely be done. But you should make a reservation, as the few places usually fill up quickly.

Excellent food in a family atmosphere.

A very fine French lunch, finely balanced, everything freshly prepared in front of you. As an entrée, a perfect Skrei with beurre blanc and beluga lentils €21 and a Magret de Canard €20 with fine jus de tandoori, the duck breast finely fried. The sommelier was very friendly. We wish Mona continued success, her small restaurant with such a high standard and innovation is a real rarity.

Klein, einfache Einrichtung, aber raffiniertes Essen. Wer Mittags unglaublich lecker (ausgezeichnete französisch inspirierte Gerichte) eine Kleinigkeit essen möchte, ist hier richtig. Mein Favorit für ein wunderbares Mittagessen mit ArbeitskollegInnen oder Freundin. Zur Auswahl gibt es immer ein vegetarisches Essen sowie ein Fleisch- und ein Fischgericht. Schwierige Entscheidung 😀

Honestly one of the best places I’ve been to in Munich in this price range. Actually rather underpriced considering the standard. Food is sophisticated and well prepared. We had the truffle ricotta “Nocken” and the Tarte au chocolat as well as the gorgonzola mousse for dessert. So good! The cidre was delicious, too. The vibe is cozy, relaxed, personal and very friendly. The only thing to improve would be more comfortable seating. Make sure to reserve, it’s small and in demand!
