A PÉPITE restaurant! It's fresh, sophisticated, and I found everything extremely good. The quality/price ratio is very reasonable. The servers, who in my opinion play a big role in the quality of the moment, are professional and charming. I recommend with your eyes closed.

The restaurant offers a wonderful atmosphere with excellent service and delicious dishes. The food is fresh, cleverly prepared and a real treat for the palate - every bite brings the umami that comes to life on every plate. There are perfect moments in life, and this was one of them - the cuisine, the service, everything was just perfect!

Wonderful cozy restaurant to enjoy fine French cuisine. Arranged in tables of two/three, this foodie haven seats about 15. With an open kitchen, cozy French atmosphere - this place is perfect for first dates. Choose from vege, meat or fish. Enjoy gorgeous small bites and creative menus. I had the scallops, veal salad, and lemon tart - simply delicious. The prices are more than fair for the local seasonal quality. Vibe is relaxed, cozy, great service and food adds so much joy! Congratulations to the Chef. Reservations definitely recommended, walk ins after 20:00 possible. A great treat - don't miss out on this!

A very great little restaurant in a nice atmosphere with an open kitchen. The menu consists of just 1 starter, 3 main courses, 2 desserts - there is something for everyone. The prices are more than fair and the staff is very friendly. As a French woman, I will definitely come back often. A real coup de cœur!

Overall, the food was very tasty, decorative and exceptional. My portion of the main course was sufficient, at least for me as a woman. I didn't find the portions of two of my birthday guests enough to fill me up. There were no so-called filling side dishes such as potatoes, pasta or rice, but you could get bread. The selection of cheese for dessert was good and varied, but the individual pieces of cheese were much too small.

It was a wonderful evening with a fantastic meal that delighted us in every way. The creative and sometimes unexpected flavor combinations were a real highlight, each individual component perfectly coordinated with one another. The service was also outstanding: always friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. Overall, an evening that was not only a culinary delight, but also an atmospheric one.

Very nice atmosphere, outstanding food, you feel very welcome. Unfortunately, as a tall person, it's a bit uncomfortable to sit. But it's definitely worth taking this into account.

Since the Coup de Coeur now opens in the evenings, we finally made it here. Cozy atmosphere, très francais, more Paris in the 20th than Munich and yet fits perfectly into the Westend. The service is personal, super friendly and skilfully manages the small restaurant. Cooking is provided by a chef in an open kitchen centrally located in the guest room. The menu changes regularly - we will definitely stop by more often. The menu is well thought out, no overflowing plates, no frills, really good food at a very good price for Munich. We were very satisfied with 3 courses, great evening, really nice atmosphere, it was just fun. Thank you!

Wonderfully uncomplicated. Very high quality, freshly prepared, excellent taste. We sat outside at lunchtime and had all the time in the world and were able to take a relaxing and enjoyable break. Thank you!

Although the trend in the catering industry is increasingly moving towards convenience, there is fortunately also a small countermovement. With this little pearl, Mona John proves that there is another way. A very fine menu with 3 main courses (fish, meat, vegetarian) paired with a starter and two desserts shows a clear line. Here the main ingredient is made into the protagonist - without a lot of chichi. The offer changes regularly. The service (Matthias) is attentive, friendly and, above all, humane and the open kitchen invites you to look over the shoulders of the chefs Isabell or Philipp at work. If I had to change something, it would just be the portions - unfortunately they are a bit too small and lack the filling carbohydrates. I'm already looking forward to the next visit and am excited about the new creations.

Cute little restaurant with a bistro flair. Absolutely amazing food at low prices! Preparation was very fast and the service very good. My personal favourite was cauliflower sand! Thumbs up an recommend!

Everything was perfect, from start to finish. What a true gem this place is❤️. When I had the first bite of my beef I thought I died and went to heaven, I am not kidding! When I had the dessert - chocolate ganache with black garlic and berry sauce - I had tears of joy in my eyes. Wonderful food (perfect desserts!) and a guest experience to match. Everything fits perfectly. It's nice that there's a coup de coeur.

I found the cuisine quite daring and delicious. We had a starter, main course and dessert. And with each plate we enjoyed ourselves. Fresh products for sure. And each time we say to ourselves “well, that’s funny, I’ve never eaten a dish like that”. Always an ingredient that brings crunch/pep/surprise to the plate...I liked the place too: when you arrive you're drawn inside by the cozy side with the wood and the kitchen opened. The cook answered our questions live while cooking, it was fun. I think the wine list can still be expanded...I hope the prices will remain low because it's good to be such an affordable gastro in Munich 👍 Top Top Top Little dinner with friends to do again very quickly!

I recently had the pleasure to lunch at "Coup de Coeur". I must say it was an outstanding experience. I was warmly welcome and got directly a first very good impression. The restaurant might be small but really cozy. The real highlight was definitely the food. The chef de cuisine Mona John and her culinary skills are quite impressive when looking at the price of the dishes. Unbeatable in Munich. Each dish was made with highly qualitative ingredients which is really appreciable in the degustation… + whatever dish you take, you get always a surprise with new flavors. We really enjoyed it! I definitely recommend if you're at least 2, to take different dishes and share it to each other. You won't regret it! So, I can't recommend Coupe de Coeur highly enough. This is the place for a perfect lunch!

The food tastes good, but unfortunately a bit of the finishing touch is missing. The game leg should be a little less cooked and the “topping” for the dessert looks beautiful but has relatively little taste.

Familiar, simple restaurant whose concept we really liked. You're basically sitting in the kitchen :-) For lunch there's a small menu with three changing weekly dishes (meat, fish, vegetarian). Unusual and not expensive in terms of price. Don't miss dessert! We'd love to come back and wish you all the best until then!

Very good business lunch with French cuisine. The portions you get are rather small, but you notice the high quality and taste finesse. The quantity could be a bit more, especially since you don't get 5 courses or more here (unlike a 3 star menu). But that can definitely be done. But you should make a reservation, as the few places usually fill up quickly.

A very fine French lunch, finely balanced, everything freshly prepared in front of you. As an entrée, a perfect Skrei with beurre blanc and beluga lentils €21 and a Magret de Canard €20 with fine jus de tandoori, the duck breast finely fried. The sommelier was very friendly. We wish Mona continued success, her small restaurant with such a high standard and innovation is a real rarity.

Klein, einfache Einrichtung, aber raffiniertes Essen. Wer Mittags unglaublich lecker (ausgezeichnete französisch inspirierte Gerichte) eine Kleinigkeit essen möchte, ist hier richtig. Mein Favorit für ein wunderbares Mittagessen mit ArbeitskollegInnen oder Freundin. Zur Auswahl gibt es immer ein vegetarisches Essen sowie ein Fleisch- und ein Fischgericht. Schwierige Entscheidung 😀

Honestly one of the best places I’ve been to in Munich in this price range. Actually rather underpriced considering the standard. Food is sophisticated and well prepared. We had the truffle ricotta “Nocken” and the Tarte au chocolat as well as the gorgonzola mousse for dessert. So good! The cidre was delicious, too. The vibe is cozy, relaxed, personal and very friendly. The only thing to improve would be more comfortable seating. Make sure to reserve, it’s small and in demand!

Ein Kleinod in ganz München. <3 Wunderbares Essen, wunderbare Menschen. Mit Liebe und Anspruch gekocht — viel zu selten, dass sich das in einem Lokal für einen "banalen Mittagstisch" wiederfindet. Und selbst in Gegenüberstellung mit abendlichem Essengehen fällt einem kaum vergleichbares ein. In jedem maximal mittelmäßigen Gasthaus gibt man am Ende locker dasselbe aus (sorry für diese sehr deutsche Betrachtungsweise), will heißen, das Preis-Qualitäts-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Kleiner, intimer Gastraum, den man sich charmant mit der Küche teilt. Kritikpunkt: Warum erst jetzt hingegangen?!?

Das Essen ist echt zu empfehlen. Wechselnde Gerichte auf hohem Niveau. Es gibt Fleisch Fisch und eine vegetarisches Gericht. Eine passende Weinauswahl mit guter Beratung. Nachtisch unbedingt probieren.

Unglaublich sympathisches und angenehmes Restaurant mit authentischem, intimen und gemütlichen Ambiente. Das wöchentlich wechselnde Menu, bestehend aus vegetarisch, Fisch und Fleischgerichten ist kreativ und innovativ gestaltet und sehr gut ausgeführt. Die kleine Küche mitten im Restaurant gibt einen schönen Einblick in die Zubereitung und macht Lust darauf alles auszuprobieren. Hat sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren letzte Woche das erste Mal mittags bei MONA. Es gibt jeweils ein Gericht mit Fisch, Fleisch, Veggie - mit dazu korrespondierenden Weinen. Die Portionen waren für ein Mittagessen ausreichend und super lecker! Toll, dass man direkten Einblick in die Küche hat und jedes Essen mit Liebe zubereitet wird. Eine Tischreservierung solltet ihr auf jeden Fall machen. Hat bei uns noch am Vorabend für den Folgetag problemlos geklappt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Mit Abstand bester geheimtipp Münchens! Wir waren zu zweit spontan bei Mona John mit etwas wartezeit verbunden, was auch wieder alles schlichthin wettgemacht wurde im Anschluss. Alleine von der Art und weise wie bedient bis hin zum kleinem Zwei Gang was serviert wurde, war es ein absoluter Traum! Nehmt euch bitte die Zeit und geht dort essen!

Genuss-Mittagspause mit essen, dass nicht einfach nur satt sondern glücklich macht. Darüberhinaus fühlt man sich wie bei Freunden zu Hause. Einfach top.

Ein charmant schlichtes Restaurant mit wechselnden Gerichten, die liebevoll angerichtet sind und sehr gut schmecken! Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und sehr freundlich :-) Ein Sommelier kommt hier regelmäßig und stimmt den Wein mit den Gerichten ab. Wir hatten Saibling, Ente und gefüllte Ravioli - alles war wunderbar.

Wir haben aus der SZ von diesem kleinen Restaurant erfahren, Speisekarte und Öffnungszeiten haben uns auch gut gepasst. Das Restaurant ist sehr schlicht und man kann den beiden jungen Frauen in der offenen Küche bei der Arbeit zusehen. Die Karte besteht aus 3 Gerichten, eines mit Fleisch, eines mit Fisch und ein Vegetarisches. Die Atmosphäre ist locker, der Service freundlich und liebenswürdig, so wie man das als Gast gerne überall hätte, man fühlt sich auf Anhieb wohl. Wir hatten Steinbutt mit Lauch, Selleriepüree und Lamm mit leicht scharfem Pak- Choi- Kimchi. Der Steinbutt wunderbar, kam, wie man sehen konnte, aus dem Sous Vide Bad, da kann nichts schiefgehen. Das Lamm butterzart, der würzige Pak-Choi-Kimchi eine schöne Ergänzung zum Lamm, mal was anderes wie die immer gleichen „Grünen Bohnen im Speckmantel“. Das Dessert war ganz ok, ein etwas anderer Zwetschgen Datschi und ein Zitronen Tartelett. Die von Mona John vorgeschlagenen Weine, einmal rot, einmal weiß haben sehr gut harmoniert. Besonders der Rotwein, ein Chateau Lermite Dauzan, war hervorragend. Leider von uns etwas weit entfernt, sonst kämen wir bestimmt ab und zu zum Essen her. Trotzdem von uns eine Empfehlung :-)

Wir waren bei Mona und Ihrer Köchin Isabel am 01.09.2023. Es war nicht nur ein Mittagssen, es war eine Erfahrung. Das Essen war sehr schmakthaft, perfekt presentiert und zubereitet mit Liebe zur Detail und zu den Zutaten, die nicht alltäglich sind. Mir fehlen sogar Worter und das ganze nette ambiente zu beschreiben, rundumwohl. Perfect. Auch die Nachtspeisse. Vielen Dank Mona und crew, wir sehen uns bestimmt bald wieder .

Ich hatte gestern ein fantastisches Lachsgericht. Das Essen war köstlich, und die Besitzerin selbst sorgte für einen herzlichen Empfang und exzellenten Service. Ein rundum gelungener Besuch!

Cozy restaurant with a french charm and weekly rotating menu. Great spot for relaxed lunch and a glass of wine - my pasta with truffle was mouthwatering, with a portion so big, I could barely finished. Not to be missed when in the area.
