We were thrilled! Both the pizzas and the homemade drinks (iced tea + lemonade) tasted excellent. The best gluten-free pizza we've ever eaten. The service was also incredibly friendly and attentive. A dream for celiacs, relaxed dining in a lovely atmosphere. We went back the very next day and grabbed a pizza to go. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Munich!

Super bad. Don’t even think of going there.

Always our first choice when we want uncomplicated and delicious gluten-free food in Munich. I have celiac disease and can eat anything here without any questions, worries, or doubts—that alone is such a blessing. The pizzas are delicious and can even be made vegan. And the pasta is also very good. The cakes are served warm and lovingly decorated.

Simply WOW! Really! It's a 100% gluten-free restaurant. There's a perfect selection of dishes: pasta dishes, salads, appetizers, and of course, pizza. There are also some vegan options. They don't use any ready-made products; everything is handmade with love. You could taste it, especially the vegan "cheese." The pizza was a 15/10 and by far the best gluten-free pizza I've ever eaten. My companion, who doesn't follow a gluten-free diet, was also absolutely impressed and thought it tasted identical to a gluten-containing pizza. But the gnocchi were also incredibly good. The atmosphere and the service were also absolutely fantastic. Friendly, competent, and the atmosphere simply beautiful. From now on, I'll be coming every time I'm in Munich. Absolutely enriching for people with gluten intolerance/celiac disease. Definitely try it and see for yourself :)

The food was very good, the service very friendly and quick, and everything else was perfect. However, the price/performance ratio could be improved somewhat, and the pizza selection could be expanded.

The service was actually very attentive. However, the food had a significant layer of oil floating on it, and the cannelloni lacked much flavor. The pizza wasn't bad, but it's not the best place we've ever had pizza. I don't think we'll go back, sorry.

Unfortunately, I can't agree with the reviews. Generally, I think the concept of gluten-free food is great. The Margherita pizza lacked flavor. Unfortunately, the service was not attentive at all. Empty glasses were quickly cleared away, but we didn't ask if we wanted something new. Getting the waiter's attention wasn't easy either. We were there for a while and at times we were really left with nothing.

Fat does carry flavor, but when you're offering tasteless food, the easiest solution is to add a lot of fat to the food. Once and never again.

Great gluten free (Italian) restaurant. The tomato soup and pizza were really good (and probably everything else). The staff was friendly, even the cook came out of the kitchen for chats. A bit price, but hey, we got delicious food and a nice experience for our celiac family member. I highly recommend stoping at least once.

Tasty glutenfree Pizza with a nice vibe. A bit on the expensive end, but it's forgivable since it tastes good. The diavola pizza had nice crisp salami and the dough had a slight popcorn taste which was interesting. Their homemade lemonade was really good too. Overall very nice.

Unfriendly and irritated reception: At first, we were very rudely told that all the seats were reserved, even though four tables were free and only one had a reserved sign. We sat outside. After a long wait, we were able to order. Then it started to rain heavily. We were finally allowed to sit inside (after asking several times), but the other tables remained empty until we left. The pizza was very good, but expensive. The croissant, unfortunately, not so good. The service was terrible. The croissant didn't arrive until the coffee was already finished. The pizza was served without cutlery or napkins. When we asked, we were told there were no cutlery and that he could cut the pizza quarters again. With the second pizza, the waiter became noticeably irritated. After we had eaten for 15 minutes without cutlery, another waitress came and brought napkins upon request, only then did she ask if we wanted cutlery. Overall, rather unfriendly treatment, especially considering the prices. Good gluten-free food, like the pizzas here, is rare, but accepting bad service for that: no thanks. They charged me for a chocolate croissant, even though it was gluten-free.

The portion of ravioli is very small compared to the price, I would add quantity since with one dish you are quite hungry. The taste is acceptable. The service is correct. The space is very well decorated.

I've only ever eaten pizza. The pizza is really delicious, and I really enjoy coming here :) It would be great if there was a pizza of the day so I could try something different :)

A great place to get authentic Italian pizza while gluten free in Munich! Super cute atmosphere. Came here twice because it was so good.

First, I'd like to mention the exceptionally friendly staff. 😊 For me, as someone with celiac disease, it's paradise. Eating everything on the menu is simply amazing. The pizzas were delicious. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Munich. 😊

We went there for the first time. There were seven of us and we had two pasta dishes and the rest pizza. The pizzas were okay, but the pasta portions were much too small. Getting half a plate for €18 isn't right. I asked the waitress directly, and she said it's gluten-free, so the portions are smaller because the ingredients are more expensive. If the food is expensive, we want to be full. (Plus, the pasta was too salty.) The waitress seemed unfriendly, but that might have been due to a language barrier.

The food was good. The service was unemotional and unwelcoming. No smiles, nothing. Not even when we came in. Then: €5.90! for an Augustiner from the bottle, poured into a wine glass! Difficult. Adequate value for money, unfortunately.

The restaurant offers a vegan version of some pizzas for an additional charge. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't seem to know that vegan doesn't just mean vegan cheese, but also meat-free. The second pizza I got tasted good, but not very good. Overall, I expected a bit more for almost €20 for a Margaritha.

A true paradise for anyone who wants to eat gluten-free – right in the heart of Munich! At Gluten Frey, you can get not only gluten-free pizza, but also a great selection of gluten-free beers and even desserts. The pizza was incredibly delicious – crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and you can immediately tell that the food is cooked with love. I was particularly impressed by the atmosphere and friendly service. For me, this is the best gluten-free pizza in Munich – highly recommended for anyone on a gluten-free diet or simply wanting to try something new. I'll definitely be back!

What a treasure! The best gluten-free pizza I have had anywhere in North America or Europe! Fresh, delicious toppings, warm & friendly staff, and a 100% GF menu that is such a relief with a celiac family member. Top-notch outdoor seating to enjoy people-watching in one of the city’s most colorful neighborhoods. My only gentle suggestion for improvement: the drinks menu. The Aperol Spritz costs €9,50 here— over the Munich average. For that I expected something a bit stronger. It was a bit sad. Also: beer. Lammsbrau is gluten-removed and therefore not recommended for celiac. If Mixto Verde imported an excellent GF beer like Glutenberg (from Quebec, Canada) or Greens (Belgium) our family would eat here twice a month. Thank you for a wonderful evening— we‘ll be back! ❤️

As a coeliac I felt so incredibly happy to eat at a 100% gluten free pizzeria :) I ordered the margarita and it was one of the best gf bases I have ever cooked. Gluten free without affecting the taste! I will be back….

I had high expectations for this pizzeria, especially because of its gluten-free concept, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. Not only was the pizza lacking in flavor, but the texture also left a lot to be desired. Another drawback was the beer, which was served warm – for €5.90 in large Ikea cocktail glasses. The value for money here is simply not there. Overall, I can't recommend this pizzeria. It's a shame, because I had hoped for more!

Finally, a gluten-free Italian restaurant in the city center—and so good, too! As someone with celiac disease, Mixto Verde is a true lifesaver for me. Pizza, pasta—everything is gluten-free and top-notch.

A welcoming little shop near Sendlinger Tor, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Both the pizza and the exotic iced teas are exquisite in taste, but the prices are on the high side.

It's unfortunate and, frankly, embarrassing that you're deleting constructive, objective criticism instead of engaging with honest feedback. Authentic reviews are an important guide for customers; suppressing criticism demonstrates weakness rather than quality.

It's a very small bistro with tables that are too close together, so you're practically involved in conversation with every new guest. The narrow tables aren't particularly suitable for tall and heavyset people.

We had lunch here. The food was okay. Definitely a good choice for people with celiac disease. Service was unfortunately not so good. When we were there, work was being done in the restaurant, which meant that even though we were the only customers, they didn't really care about us beyond ordering food and bringing it to our table (especially since some of the order never arrived). The work made it uncomfortable. I initially gave it 3 stars without comment. The owner reported this to Google as "defamation" and it was removed. I understand that you don't want a review for a 5 🌟 rating, but with this approach of deleting them, you would also have to delete the good reviews, not just the ones that drag down the average.

We stopped in spontaneously with friends after a concert. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food. We'd love to come back.

No seat despite reservation & corresponding review deleted due to alleged defamation Three people and I wanted to eat at the restaurant on April 25, 2025 (on my birthday) because a friend is gluten intolerant. We had made a reservation in advance to ensure a seat at 7:30 p.m. On the day in question, we arrived at 7 p.m. We asked if there was a free table in the restaurant for us, but were told no. We were told to come back at 7:30 p.m. We did so and returned promptly at 7:30 p.m. However, there was still no seat in the restaurant. We were told to sit outside, but the weather was bad that day. The other guests were sitting outside in thick jackets, and it was supposed to rain later that day. When we said we wanted to sit inside, the waiter just shrugged. We were offered no alternative or apology. We left the restaurant disappointed and had great difficulty finding a gluten-free alternative at that time of night. That's a poor performance for a restaurant. My friend, who is gluten-intolerant, was so disappointed that she left a review describing the situation (as in this review). Instead of the restaurant apologizing or responding constructively, her review was reported and deleted for alleged defamation. That's the last straw when you accuse your (now former) customers of defamation, even though you've only described a true story (which can be verified by four people). Defamation is based on false allegations! I've never experienced anything like this. I can't comment on the food, but the ambiance looked nice.

We stumbled upon Mixto Verde by chance. The food is gluten-free. This wasn't important to us, as we don't have celiac disease or anything similar. We were very impressed with the taste. The food arrived quickly, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We sat outside and really enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Actually a great idea. Everything is gluten-free, which makes the heart of those affected by celiac disease beat faster. The pizza was good, it needed a little more time in the oven but it wasn't bad. We had water, 6.90 euros for a sparkling water, which tasted really bad even when it was stale. The service was ok but a bit contaminated, my friend also mentioned this with the water, no reaction. There could still be improvements.

Had dinner outside, a bit cramped at the side of the road and staff was very busy. Everything is gluten free and the pizza was great. It came quick after ordering. Gluten free beer available. Overall a nice experience and good spot. Do reserve beforehand as it seemed full.

Amazing gluten-free pizza, though it can get a bit crowded due to too many tables. It’s a bit of a pity, because people with celiac really value a comfortable dining experience and if they expect a tight setting, it might put them off and make them return less often. Having travel extensively in the US and multiple European Countries, I haven’t found a better Gluten Free Pizza!!! Sebastian gave us spectacular service along with a delicious meal. PS. We basically had to eat here because someone can't tolerate gluten. We had reserved. The pizzas are ok, but certainly not the first choice if you can tolerate gluten. Certainly a good alternative for people with gluten intolerance. The taste was good. Rather higher priced at just under €18/€19 per pizza. The service was ok. Nice, but you could ask once or twice if the guests would like anything else, or at least take a look at the table. We missed that. We probably would have ordered something else. But we just wanted to pay.

Very nice atmosphere, service ok. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the pizzas; the Margherita in particular didn't impress us in terms of taste and had hardly any tomato taste. The dough base should also be thinner. In our opinion, prices are therefore not justified.

Great little pizzeria. ALL GLUTEN-Free! Nice interior, very friendly stuff. Pizza tasted fabulously. Quiet a variety of great looking cakes (we were there in the afternoon). We will definitely come back!

Certainly great if you (or your friends) have gluten intolerance. Then the slightly increased prices are certainly worth it. Based on the good reviews, we thought it would be a good choice even without gluten intolerance, but it has to be said that the pizza dough tastes significantly different - and in my opinion, worse. You can especially taste the corn flour.

Was looking for Italian options near Sendlinger Tor, and this place had good reviews and a solid rating. So hopped in. I wasn't specifically looking for something gluten-free or vegan, which are specialities of this place. Ordered a Ravioli in ragout and Helles 🍺. The food was super tasty 😋 . The service was prompt and courteous. The interior decor has a green foresty theme going on, which is pleasing to the eyes and actually relaxes you. Overall, it was a great experience 👍

Dream for people with celiac disease as all food is gluten free. The pizza was very tasty, as was the tiramisu, I would go back straight away. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also nice relaxed.

Nice, small gluten-free pizza restaurant. The gluten-free pizzas aren't cheap, but they're quite tasty. I'd go back for that. I didn't try the cake, but it looked pretty good. The service was pretty lacking; it was more like a quick order and then paying at the cash register. But it's okay. Drinks were unfortunately lukewarm (Coke has to be very cold or iced). Coffee is only possible with Alpro milk (as a milk alternative). Oatly is always the only tasty alternative for me. It's a matter of taste. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, is offering Maultaschen (!) from a packet with a tasteless watery sauce as ravioli with sage butter. It's exactly like supermarket Maultaschen. I don't like Maultaschen, which is why I didn't finish the entire €18.50 (!) dish. Why do they offer ravioli and serve Maultaschen? That's unacceptable, unfortunately. When I pointed it out, the server acted like she didn't understand me and immediately walked away. Also a no-go. Conclusion: good for a quick pizza or cake, but unfortunately not for more than that for the reasons mentioned.

Good gluten free and celiac safe pizza

Nice decoration and situated in a good location. Very friendly service. The Tiramisu is very good. Somehow limited menu options. I would say that 18 euro for a pizza is on the high side. I could not find any possibility to decide between a “normal” pizza and a vegan one, so I got, I assume, vegan which I didn’t really like. However those with me found it good.

I want to say that it's a super nice and clean place, here you have peace and a gorgeous atmosphere, super nice and very attentive staff 👍👍😌

Amazing! It’s is so rare to find a fully homemade gluten free pizza AND it is the same size as a normal pizza! The food is delicious and also can be vegan so there is lots of choice. The atmosphere is very cozy and staff are lovely. Definitely go!

Actually a great restaurant, especially for people with celiac disease like me. I only have two points of criticism: 1. the prices and 2. the service. Even for Munich, it's in the upper price segment. Unfortunately the service wasn't good today. We shared a pizza because we weren't that hungry. The pizza came on two plates, for which we had to pay an extra three euros! If we had known that we would have to pay so much for two plates, we would have eaten from one plate. Are unnecessary and avoidable fees that have not been stated or communicated. We think it's a shame! At the end there was the unfriendly service employee who mumbled to herself and took ages to divide the bill in half and give us change, which we ended up doing for them. When we kindly commented that it wasn't fair to simply add fees that we didn't know about, she simply said dryly that she hadn't taken the order. The whole situation didn't make a good impression on us. This is also more customer-friendly!

Excellent Italian gluten-free cuisine also for people who don't have to eat gluten-free. Also really great wine and cake. Very nice boss and courteous staff. The lunch menu is also not to be sniffed at. And a really great, well thought-out, cozy and beautiful room concept, you can have a great time.

Not recommended. Reserved two weeks in advance, when we showed up we were told that unfortunately there were no places available.

Let me start by saying that I am celiac and I have a lot of esteem and respect for places like this that only serve gluten-free products, guaranteeing the total absence of contamination. Furthermore, the staff is very kind. Unfortunately, however, as an Italian I was very disappointed by the pizza and the value for money. The pizza certainly looks good but the dough is very thick and the ingredients are rather scarce. The result is that, once the mozzarella part is finished, it feels like eating bread. In my opinion it's not worth the €16 spent and honestly I've found better ones in Munich. For dessert we had a slice of white chocolate almond cake, it was very good but it was garnished with a strawberry cream which made it really sweet. We spent €53 in total and we are not very satisfied with our dinner, but maybe it's just a question of personal taste. P.S. I thank the owner for the geography lesson.

The pizzas are very, very tasty! And super nice to sit on! If you have celiac disease you feel very safe here. And it also tastes very good for others who don't have to give up gluten!

Anyone affected by celiac disease knows the problem: there are only a few restaurants with gluten-free dishes. Today we found one that offers excellent food. There were also those among us who did not suffer from celiac disease Delighted with both the taste and the preparation. A very diverse menu in a small and friendly restaurant with very friendly service!

In general, my experience there was average and worsened by the rudeness of the staff. We went to the restaurant for dinner with a reservation of 1.5 hours, but 30 minutes before our reservation ended, the staff kicked us out by bringing the check to the table. We did not ask for it, nor did they ask if we wanted to order more. The place is cozy and looks lovely but small. The pizza is not for my taste, but they have interesting pizza options for gluten-free meals. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't give us sufficient time to try dessert options.

I made a reservation for 15 people at Mixto Verde weeks in advance and left my phone number. When we arrived there with 15 people, we were told that the reservation had been canceled because the waitress didn't know that reservations for more than 10 people would not be accepted. There was no previous phone cancellation or apology in the situation. Rather, this was communicated to us in an unfriendly tone. This is how you scare away guests! The food was OK on my previous visits.

Today I had a really incredibly delicious pizza that can definitely keep up with the ones that contain gluten.
