Inexpensive place to eat delicious food

A warm atmosphere like a Korean mother. A place where you feel welcome. I am very satisfied, both with the delicious dishes I took home and with the opportunity to do my shopping here.

For a second, i felt like i was sitting back in seoul enjoying my kimbap after a long day out. The food tastes so good, real homemade korean food and you can tell it’s made with love. The owners are so sweet and everything was freshly made for us. We could bring our dog too. Simple but good menu. Vegetarian options. Really affordable. The yuja lemonade was also really good :) seems I found my new favourite place to eat at!

Very authentic. Small card. Delicious lemonades/iced teas. Well seasoned (maybe a bit too spicy - but I was asked beforehand). Would love to come back.

We were out with friends yesterday and spontaneously decided on this shop. Baby and dog - no problem. We were served very friendly, the menu is small but absolutely sufficient. Everything tasted wonderful and we even got a few gyoza to try (fantastically delicious!). The homemade lemonades are highly recommended. After eating we also took the opportunity to pick up a few things from the small shop. Highly recommended!

Fantastic food. I had the Dakgangjeong (Korean Fried Chicken) and it was super tasty and the price was right too. I will come here to pick up my food more often.

A little Korean insider tip in Werden. I've now tried everything from the small but fine menu and it all tastes great. The owners are also very nice and polite. We'd love to come back!

Today I was only in the small part of the Asian store and didn't eat there. But even during this short visit I was totally happy because a) I got everything I needed (gochujang, rice vinegar and chapaghetti noodles) and b) because the owner was so incredibly friendly and lovely. I took home-made kimchi straight from the "Korean Mom" ​​- spicy, but super tasty. I will definitely come back for dinner and I'm happy to have such a small Korean food and grocery store nearby!

This restaurant is ideal for us at the Folkwang University in Werden. Friendly people and very tasty food. The grapefruit soda is also highly recommended!

Authentic Korean food provided by a Korean mom. The menu is limited, but the available options are more than enough to get a true Korean experience. Highly recommended, even when you have to drive a bit outside from the main city of Essen. Definitely worth the short trip! Thanks for the very tasty meal 😋

Super leckerer authentischer Laden! Alles ist frisch und mit Liebe zubereitet. Der Name ist Motto (wie von Mama gemacht). Unglaublich freundliches Personal. Absoluter Geheimtipp.. man muss nicht nach Düsseldorf fahren um ein sehr gutes Koreanisches Restaurant zu finden.

Sieht unscheinbar von außen aus. Freundliche Inhaber und sehr leckeres Bibimbap.

Tolles koreanisches Essen von Mom selbst zubereitet. Wir hatten das Japchaebap und das Bibimbap mit Tofu. Beides war sehr lecker und auch vegan möglich. Aufgrund der Neueröffnung gab es zudem Limonade (Zitrone oder Grapefruit) kostenlos dazu - noch bis Ende Mai 2023. Die Inhaberin (Mom) und ihre Familie, die im Geschäft helfen, sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich dort gut aufgehoben. Lediglich beim Ambiente ist noch Potenzial nach oben, allerdings ist es auch irgendwie sympathisch/authentisch, wenn es kein durchgestylter Laden ist. (^v^) Wir kommen gerne wieder. Last but not least kann man dort auch Lebensmittel kaufen, sogar selbst gemachte. Auf Wunsch hat sie für uns den Kimchi ohne Fischsauce (vegan) gemacht. :))

Frisch (wieder)eröffnet, eine sehr freundliche Besitzerin. Es gibt eine kleine Karte mit frisch zubereiteten koreanischen Speisen und ein paar Getränke togo. Ich hatte eine sehr leckere frischgemachte Grapefruit Limonade.

Ich habe Kimbap und die Limonade bestellt. Beides war einfach super lecker. Das Paar die das Restaurant besitzen waren echt nett und herzlich. Preislich lohnt es sich genau so viel wie geschmacklich. Werde in Zukunft immer wider gerne dort essen gehen und jedem weiterempfehlen.

제육덮밥 맛있어요~~!!!! Jeyuk Deopbab(Scharf Schweinfleisch, Gemüse mit Reis) ist sehr lecker und Ice Americano ist auch toll!

Haben am Dienstag dort Bibimbap und Deopbag gegessen und waren sehr positiv überrascht, alle Zutaten waren von äußerster Güte, die Gerichte frisch zubereitet und entsprechend lecker. Bislang der beste Koreaner in Essen und immer noch ein absoluter Geheimtipp.
