Moksa in Berlin

Your staff is so rude. I visited your stall at Sage Beach for the Diwali fest yesterday and the gentleman serving the food yelled at me for taking tissues. In an attempt to "fix" the situation, he laughed then said I shouldn't touch the tissues for "hygienic purposes". Tissues. He wasn't using gloves or displaying any particular standards of hygiene himself. Nor was there any board saying "don't touch the tissues". Your staff may be overworked or stressed or untrained-but hey, people like getting their food without being yelled at over tissues. PS: Just read your unnecessarily mean comments to your other reviewers here. I sincerely hope you find "moksa" from whatever it is that makes you react like that.

I will avoid it in the future. Far too expensive, boring in taste, the rice was dry and probably already old. There are better alternatives here

Old regular in Kreuzberg and nice to know the quality of the food hasn't changed since moving to Potsdamer Platz. Excellent juicy butter chicken. Business lunch is, for the manifesto market, a deal. I do miss / long for the fried chicken sando.

The best indian food that i ever tried! Everything just perfect!

Don't come here with overly high expectations, you will be served mediocre mall food at a premium price. My tandoori chicken was way too salty and also burnt. I also had garlic naan which was alright. My mango lassi consisted mainly of ice and was a bit too far on the sour side. I couldn't even finish it. It's fine for getting your stomach filled during lunch break, but that's about it.

Very tasty food, interesting spices and fun ideas. I was happy to learn they did not close but moved to Potsdamer Platz. My family has been complaining about the lack of good tandoori chicken. I cannot judge if this is authentic, because I never went to India, but it sure is a wild and interesting ride and I often get to know new and exotic vegetables and fruit there. Had a great dinner with friends there recently and hope the new venue turns out good.

Dishes are full of flavor, especially the based on Tandoori Chicken. The place is a fancy food court.

Am so glad there are places like Moksa where the food served is actually changing from the generic orange color food served at indian restaurants in Germany! Food is made with interest, by someone who has understood what needs to be done with Indian spices and flavors! Took my parents there and they loved it. Vegetarian food is amazing! Try their Bagara Baingan and beyond meat rottza your taste buds will thank you ☺️

Fantastisch eten met super veel smaak en je krijgt echt een grote portie. Vriendelijk personeel en een leuke sfeer.

Went to Moksa earlier this month and I was disappointed. The reviews really hyped up this place but the food was well average. We ordered the chicken thali and got some keema. I give this place 1 star for the food and another star for the lovely people and the great service they give.

Leider waren die Samosa überhaupt nicht authentisch. Haben nur nach Teig und Salz geschmeckt. Es gab auch keine Tamarind-Chutney oder so dazu, schade ums Geld.

We had: Chicken Tandoori Rotzza, Cheese Samosa, Goat Haleem and Naan - and everything was just delicious! Wow. Sure it‘s in a mall and yes, prices are a bit higher than your usual Imbiss, but even on a Saturday I found this artsy new food court quite bearable and the pricing is quite fair for the portions and the quality you‘ll get! Will be back. 🎊 EDIT: Went back and got the big Thali and it was WOW. It‘s a bit more pricey but worth every penny imho. Very nice chef preparing the food as well.

Outstanding! When hunting for excellent Indian food in Berlin, you'll often be disappointed, but this place is a beacon of light for all lovers of fantastic spice blends and high-quality tandoor meat. We shared the tandoori chicken thali, which was amazing: a surprisingly large amount of incredibly juicy chicken combined with a great mix of other dishes, excellent cilantro chutney as well as some very spicy pickles; the only thing we'd like to suggest is offering raita as an optional side dish. Also, we appreciated that they didn't add too much rice, which many restaurants use as a cheap option to make the plate look full. Finally, you should know that Moksa is located on the 2nd level of the Manifesto food court - so the atmosphere is quite casual, and there are plenty of other food stalls around. For us, this place definitely goes on the "food to return to"-list. Next time we'll try the Rozza!

P E R F E K T ! Kein Vergleich zu fast allen anderen „indischen“ Restaurants in Berlin. Das Tandoori-Chicken ist zart und saftig und die Marinade ein Gedicht. Zum Glück sind die Portionen so groß, dass man am nächsten Tag noch was davon hat 😋 Jeden Cent wert.

Das Essen im indischen Restaurant im Einkaufszentrum am Potsdamerplatz ist sehr gut. Das Hähnchenfleisch und das Naan kommen aus dem Tandoori Ofen. Das kleine aber sehr leckere Highlight war die getrocknete und geröstete chillischote.

Service was ok and atmosphere was decent but the food was too salty, buttery, and lukewarm. A bit pricey for the quality.

Tried Tanduri chicken, very different spices, no bones, was lunch time and prepared, in addition a Naan garlic butter plus sambusa, very tasty, traditional Indian food, enjoyed. Our wish: Maybe during dinner time, when people have more time, to observe how Tanduri chicken is fresh made, as all spices are added to the chicken in the pan. Our dish was served a bit cold.

Authentic Indian food with tasty and flavourful curries. A bit Expensive. The Price for the dishes include only the Curry. Rice and Naan should be bought separately.

Zed is a true genius in the art of indian cooking. He moved his place inside the new fancy foodcourt in the Playce arcade. Give him a visit, you wont regret it!

Das Restaurant befindet sich im oberen Bereich. Mein Essen war nicht gut. Der Reis war teilweise gar nicht gekocht. Der Tisch wurde sehr lange nicht abgeräumt, es war nicht überall sauber. Selbst das Geschirr war mehrfach beschädigt.

Leckeres Essen! Das beste Hähnchen in Berlin. Die Gerichte sind den Preis wert, jede Portion macht satt. Höchste Fleisch- und Produktqualität. Netter Service vor Ort. Immer wieder gerne!

The food was really fantastic. The garlic butter naan and tandoori chicken were great . If you really want to enjoy the Indian flavour her in Berlin, it's the best place to go.

Such a delight to see this Soulful place back in Action, attention to detail is impeccable. Anything you pick here isn't gonna be a blender, unlike other places where you get Saucy milkshakes. Go shower your geld & show some love to this O.G black sheep of the Indian gastro scene in Berlin. <3 <3

As a lover of Indian cuisine, I was excited to try Moksa's newly opened restaurant inside Manifesto Market in Berlin. I must say, the experience was beyond my expectations! The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The highlight of my visit was the plant-powered vegetarian thali, which was simply exquisite. The selection of dishes was quite unique, and the flavors were expertly blended to create a mouthwatering meal. The rice was cooked to perfection, and the moong salad added a refreshing crunch to the dish. The chana dal was cooked just right and had a perfect blend of spices. The pickle was tangy and added the perfect kick to the meal. The star of the thali was the Eggplant Curry. The dish was bursting with flavors and was cooked to perfection. The spices were well-balanced, and the eggplant was tender and cooked to perfection. The dish was accompanied by Makhana, which added a perfect crunch to the curry. The service was excellent, and the chef Zed's attention to detail was evident in every dish. The chicken tandoori thali is named after Kundan Lal Gujaral, the inventor of tandoori 🐔 chicken and it was clear that Moksa takes pride in serving dishes that honor Indian cuisine's rich history. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Moksa and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an Indian culinary experience in Berlin. The plant-powered thali was a delightful surprise, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their offerings. The food, service, and ambiance all earned a five-star rating from me!

Had vegetarian thali (plant powered thali) and Chicken tandoor thali ( Kundanlal gujral thali) Amazing portions size. Great taste. Owner/staff is super friendly. Go for it. Also don’t miss the cheese Naan.

Moksa hat seinen Standort gewechselt, war früher in Kreuzberg und ich bin dort schon immer gerne essen gegangen. Die Küche ist eine ganz besondere. Im Kern indisch, aber mit interessanten Twist. Rozza muss man ich wie ein mexikanischen Quesadilla vorstellen, gefüllt mit Käse und dem besten Chicken dass ich in meinem ganzen Leben je hatte oder Ziege bzw Beyond Meat (das hier mehr schmeckt wie echtes Fleisch als sonst irgendwo). Die Mittagstisch Thalis sind noch außergewöhnlicher, der Hauptbestandteil ist butterweiche Aubergine oder Tandori Chicken. Ich wünsche es gäbe wie früher eine Bowl nur mit diesem Curry. Bald sollen Thalis kommen (sowas wie indische Tapas. Nehmt unbedingt das Naan Brot dazu, es ist Klasse. Alles in allem nicht billig, aber das Geld wert und immer wieder eine Freude bei Moksa zu essen ☺️
