Large selection, very good choice of furniture and decor. Overall, very spacious and somewhat built-in in places. The restaurant is located in the outer right wing of the furniture store and can only be reached via a longer walk. Depending on the floor, you may have to take the elevator or stairs to get there. The checkout area is in the outer left wing, so you have to walk a longer distance again. I was there on a Saturday around 1:30 p.m. and arrived with specific ideas. No staff visible in the Musterring area, etc. So I eventually left. Perhaps it was the presentation of the furniture, my overall personal impression; the ambiance just didn't appeal to me.

We went to Höffner to look at a sofa set that was advertised. After a long search, we finally found what we were looking for. My expectations of the product and the price-performance ratio were met 100%. We ordered our sofa set. But we had to forgo the discount. However, the set was on sale. The salesperson wasn't very focused and took a long time to put our set together. But I would definitely visit Höffner again whenever I feel like buying new furniture!!!!!!

We've been customers here for 30 years. Back then, it was still called Rösrather Möbelzentrum – and that's what we still call it! We bought a sofa and were treated very well. We tested many sofas extensively and were never given any strange looks. The employee always maintained attentive eye contact and waited for us to approach the information desk. He was able to explain everything to us and even showed us the sleep function. He was very patient, even shortly before closing time. The cushions weren't that comfortable. We were then able to take cushions from other sofas and try them out. We received support here, too, and the employee picked out various options for us to order. A huge compliment to Mr. Gianni. We received equally good advice in the lamp department. Not much has changed. The people who work here truly make things possible. Shortly before closing time, we never felt like we weren't welcome. All employees greeted us warmly, and we were even able to have a little small talk. Unfortunately, there are no longer any discounts!

We visited Möbel Höffner in Rösrath yesterday and, as always, were extremely satisfied. All the employees were very friendly. From the very beginning, when we had a request at the customer information desk, to the checkout process, we had only positive experiences. The selection is so large that we were very grateful for the help we received with our purchase. We received patient and competent advice and received detailed answers to all our questions. I would like to single out Ms. Tüllmann as a representative and thank her very much! We would also like to commend the restaurant: Everything is very well-maintained and the food is delicious. We feel very well looked after at Möbel Höffner, especially since we found the employees to be open to discussion and accommodating. We experienced this with an invoice that was initially incorrect and needed clarification. Customer-friendly service is not something to be taken for granted. We would be happy to come back!

Not against the local sellers. However, you shouldn't try to assert your legitimate right to complain. Then you'll be blacklisted and only receive ordered goods if you pay in cash. So, the goods will only be unloaded or handed over once everything has been paid for. Now that's what I call customer loyalty. What a shame.

Absolute disaster. Bought a dishwasher, it was delivered but not connected (as ordered and paid for). The old dishwasher wasn't taken away. Absolutely no customer service. I call from one part of the country to another - no one ever answers. "They're working on it," then radio silence. I'm constantly being referred to someone else who has no clue anyway. Money for installation that wasn't even done has sometimes not been refunded. They're deliberately playing for time. The customer service is so abysmal that one star is way too many. A bunch of incompetent people.

Addendum to the review from three months ago: Höffner furniture has since contacted me. My complaint was finally taken seriously, and I received new handles for my kitchen. Review from three months ago: In August three years ago, I bought a Nobila kitchen unit from Höffner. After a good year, the "covering" on the handles began to peel off in some places. Shortly before the end of the complaint period, I filed a complaint with Höffner Rösrath, including photos. A few emails went back and forth, with the result that this was not grounds for complaint and was normal wear and tear. I then took no further action for personal reasons. At the beginning of this year, I wrote to the manufacturer, Nobila. They recommended that I contact the Höffner-Schönefeld headquarters. They also rejected the complaint, as they also believed some of the damage was due to wear and tear. As a gesture of goodwill, I received a €100 voucher from Höffner. At least that's something... My conclusion about Höffner Rösrath, regarding my kitchen purchase: I give the kitchen consultant a grade of 3 (a school grade). The initial consultation was okay. When it came to further personal questions, the kitchen consultant was uncooperative and very irritable. Delivery was within the agreed time. I can only give the assembly a grade of 3. I give the service and quality management a solid 5. I still like the kitchen, but if the handles are already worn out after two years, I haven't bought good quality from Nobila. If I ever need a new kitchen again, it won't be from Höffner.

Don't buy a kitchen here!!! I bought a kitchen here for €15,000 that will be unusable indefinitely. The cooktop doesn't work, the extractor hood, microwave, and the wall cabinets on one wall couldn't even be hung because the seller messed up. The installation team damaged my faucet, the siphon is leaking, the dishwasher hose falls off just by looking at it, dents in the fronts, missing parts... And what's the answer from customer service?! They send out two weeks! Later, they send an appraiser to take a look at everything. Then the missing and defective items have to be reordered, and when they arrive in a few weeks, they schedule a new appointment with me. The fact is, I'll be without a usable kitchen for at least six weeks, and there's no compensation—simply nothing from Höffner!

On July 15, 2025, I complained to Höffner about a defective baby bed. It wasn't until July 22 that my concern was properly acknowledged, and the manufacturer was contacted. The replacement parts were ordered on July 25 – with the promise that they would arrive within 14 days. Today, weeks later, nothing has happened. Instead of a solution, I was simply told that they would have to contact the manufacturer again. What's particularly annoying is that it's a baby bed – something that's urgently needed. However, Höffner doesn't seem to care about the weeks-long wait. As a customer, I would have preferred binding commitments, faster processing, and, above all, consideration for the special situation. All that remains is frustration and disappointment.

After purchasing various pieces of furniture for several thousand euros from Höffner Furniture, this time we were looking for furniture for our expectant offspring's nursery and a coffee table. We found what we were looking for, but were then thwarted by the store's business organization. We had opted for a crib, travel crib, and accessories from the specialty department, a coffee table from the specialty department, and a changing table and children's wardrobe from the bargain section. Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to add the described items to one (consolidated) invoice, which meant we would have had to conclude separate purchase agreements (with individual sellers). Due to the lower invoice amounts, it was impossible to take advantage of promotions or similar offers, as had always been the case with our purchases in the past. This is anything but customer-oriented. They are all from the same company, after all. Added to this was the fact that there is no assembly option for the furniture from the bargain section, even without assembly instructions. In addition, the assembly costs have increased dramatically compared to our last purchases, and the assembly and delivery costs would have been doubled due to the issue described above. We are very disappointed, especially since we encountered significant problems assembling our wall unit, even though we were willing to shop at Höffner again. Update from August 6: After contacting customer service regarding the review, our issue was resolved quickly and comprehensively. We received advice on all items from a single source, as we had hoped. The issue of delivery and assembly costs was not explained correctly to us beforehand, possibly due to the employee's lack of knowledge. This was rectified yesterday in a personal conversation with Ms. Baltes. Many thanks to Ms. Gersinske and Ms. Baltes for the friendly and detailed advice and solution to our issue! :-)

We bought four fairly expensive, high-quality armchairs from Höffner. Unfortunately, the service was anything but top-notch. The delivery staff were very unfriendly, slammed the armchairs down on us in their packaging, and refused to take the packaging with them. Ever heard of the German Packaging Ordinance? POSTSCRIPT: After customer service publicly asked me to contact them via email in response to this review, I did so. Result: To date, no response to my email. Now that's what I call consistent service... That's what good service is all about - hats off!

Ms. Buntenbroich's consultation was flawless. We were very satisfied. 😊 Unfortunately, we didn't make a purchase because Höffner furniture is generally too expensive for all its items. Despite all the discounts offered, we managed to get our armchairs for almost €1,000 (!) less in the competition. 🤷‍♂️

We ordered a complete youth room set from Höffner, including delivery and assembly. The sale at Höffner was OK. The salesperson's advice was comprehensive—however, we had the impression that she was pushing for the contract to be signed. The low rating is due to the poor customer service. Customer service alone would have only received one star. Due to an error at Höffner, the assembly could not be completed on the agreed delivery date. The reason: Höffner had not entered an assembly time into the system for the shipping company. Since we were unwilling to pay the remaining amount under these circumstances, the shipping company took the furniture back. I then called customer service and requested a short-term alternative appointment. Customer service wanted to clarify the issue and call back—they never returned the call. The same thing happened on my second and third call. I then called the shipping company directly. They could only give me a standard appointment time, which we were dissatisfied with because of the excessive wait time. The freight forwarder therefore referred me back to Höffner customer service. Even the fourth call to customer service was unsuccessful. The team leader was unavailable for me to speak to. Instead, I was asked to submit my complaint via email. They promised an immediate response to the email. In the email, I explained the situation and requested a better appointment time. I also offered a price reduction of €100 to compensate for the additional effort on our part. There was no response to this email. We received neither a better appointment time nor any information as to whether the price reduction would be accepted. Ultimately, the delivery and installation took place on the unsatisfactory date. We then paid the remaining payment, minus the announced €100. CONCLUSION: If everything goes well, you can buy from Höffner. If you expect to need customer service: STAY AWAY!!!

Absolutely unprofessional, chaotic, and disrespectful On May 3rd, I bought a corner sofa from Höffner, which was delivered damaged. Instead of a solution, I was kept waiting for weeks. Initially, I was told that replacement parts would be sent – that never happened. After weeks of waiting – over four weeks just for the first pickup date – an appointment was made to take back the sofa, including the information that the shipping company would contact me an hour beforehand. Instead, the drivers arrived unannounced before the agreed time and didn't take the sofa, even though I was home all day and had taken vacation time specifically for this. Months of chaos followed: I called Höffner at least 30 times. Each time, I was referred to the complaints department, where they constantly promised me someone would get back to me – that never happened. Instead, I was given another random pickup date without further inquiry, and I was expected to wait another six weeks! I made it clear several times that I wanted the sofa picked up as soon as possible, as it's been disassembled and sitting in the way for weeks, massively disrupting my daily life. Out of sheer frustration, I even went to the furniture store in person. But even there, no one was able to help me. The employees blamed the complaints department, which is neither reachable nor traceable. Absolutely incompetent and anti-customer. To make matters worse, just before the second pickup date, I received an email informing me that the pickup would take place on August 1st – with no time, no year, and no details whatsoever. That's not communication, that's outrageous. And now – months later – they're claiming my phone number is incorrect in the system. This is complete nonsense, as I've spoken to dozens of employees on the phone, and my correct number is clearly stated on the purchase contract. Apparently, no one there reads emails or documents – or they simply don't care. Conclusion: With this behavior, Höffner has demonstrated that they have no sense of customer service, reliability, or professionalism. Their processes are chaotic, not customer-focused, and their staff is overwhelmed, rude, and unable to solve problems. I will hand this case over to my lawyer and make this experience public on all platforms. For me, it's clear: Never again Höffner.

Dear Sir or Madam, I ordered a kitchen from your Rösrath branch two months ago, but unfortunately, the entire process has been extremely disappointing so far. I was initially assured that the kitchen would take approximately 12 weeks to complete. Two months have already passed without anyone contacting me. Only after repeated requests did an employee finally come to take measurements, much too late compared to the originally agreed timeframe. Instead of a structured process, I was forced to return to the branch in person several times. Each time, I had to explain my wishes and requirements from scratch, including to a different salesperson who apparently had no knowledge of the process so far. The result: I was ultimately offered a kitchen that neither met my expectations nor the original purchase contract, and was also significantly more expensive. This type of process is unacceptable for a company of your size and standards. I not only lost time, but also trust in your service. I therefore request a prompt and binding response regarding the next steps in my order and whether you are willing to accommodate me. Top-notch advice at Höffner – a big thank you to Ms. Gerner! I recently visited Höffner to look for a new kitchen, and I'm extremely satisfied – especially thanks to Ms. Gerner from the kitchen department. She took her time, listened to all my requests, and also had many creative ideas that I would never have thought of on my own. You can immediately tell that she knows what she's talking about and enjoys her job. She really got the most out of the floor plan – I couldn't have asked for better advice. I highly recommend Ms. Gerner and would go back to her anytime. Thank you so much for the great support!

If you return an item three days after purchase, the furniture store only issues a voucher. They generally do not refund money for exchanges. Very disappointing!

I was here a few days ago and I'm simply disappointed. The food arrived late and was cold. Furthermore, a former employee who worked there a few months ago and was simply fired pointed out to me that the hygiene in the kitchen is poor.
