Mmaah - Korean BBQ Express in Berlin

There are obvious fake, paid reviews here, see for yourself! Potatoes are abysmal, the vegan meat inedible. And all extremely overpriced for these tiny portions with bad flavor. Nothing changed since 10+ years, unbelievable.

I visited Mmaah on Wiener Straße. It's a small, nice place with some seating both inside and outside. The staff were all friendly. I had the Hotgogi Chicken with rice. Unfortunately, I wasn't really impressed with the food. The rice didn't taste very good, the chicken was quite tough and dry, and everything was relatively cold. However, I did enjoy the Korean coleslaw and the chili sauce. More reviews can be found on Instagram and TikTok @KALORIENARMee Thank you so much for all your support (likes, follows, comments, etc.)! I'd also like to mention that I visited another Mmaah branch (the one on Schönhauser Allee) on the same day to give it a second chance. There, I also had the Hotgogi Chicken, but this time with crispy potatoes. I liked the whole dish much better there. The potatoes were delicious, crispy, and hot. The chicken was nice and juicy, warm, and really tasty. The chili sauce tasted identical to the previous one. However, I had the feeling that there was another, very creamy, mayo-like sauce in there (perhaps for the potatoes)?! I would therefore generally recommend Mmaah. I was at the restaurant on December 6th, 2025 at 5 PM, and the food was absolutely delicious! I'd also like to commend the employee, as she was working alone at that time and still managed to serve the customers and prepare the dishes simultaneously. She was also very courteous.

Probably the only franchise restaurant I ever eat at, the dishes are simple, delicious and fairly priced. The employees are always super friendly. A bathroom would be nice, but also understandable that maintaining a bathroom at this location could be difficult for the employees. All in all, great place to grab a quick bite.

Ordered from Uber eats. Food had no spice or flavor was just soggy salty Oily bad food with no taste. Kimchi pancake was just flavorless mung brean crisp, not sure it had kimchi. Crispy potatoes were half fried soggy. Chicken katsu was just salty and soggy with soy sauce and oily breading, not crispy. Mandu was flavorless. We did not finish the food bc it was basically disgusting. How can the food have no garlic or chilli or coriander or any spice? But drenched in salt. Unbelievable.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly. BUT there are no guest restrooms. So I won't be eating here.

The Korean fried chicken here is delicious! The coating is perfectly crispy, while the inside stays juicy and tender. The seasoning has a great balance of sweet, savory, and a little spice that keeps you coming back for more. Definitely one of the best spots for fried chicken I’ve tried!

We love coming here with our children—quick, affordable, and reasonably healthy food with a little surprise, and the staff are always very friendly! We'll be back!

Terrible, from Uber Eats experience. Chicken is not so tasty and they sent a completely different order and refuse to refund. Ignored all the requests and proceed to send something which is not what i ordered at all, including things i am sadly allergic to, without asking.

Fantastic crispy chicken bites, hot chicken with rice, and beef with rice—a dream in taste! Portion sizes are great for the price.

The food, recipes, and concept are great, just like everywhere else in this chain. The lighting in this branch is terrible, both inside and out. Why does it have to be so unpleasantly bright? And the staff's hospitality is poor; they don't speak English or German well, making communication very difficult.

So we ordered yesterday. The food arrived on time. But only two of the five items we ordered arrived. They weren't available by phone when we contacted them. We paid €50 and received food worth €17...

I ordered the Special BBQ and Kimchi pancakes. The pancakes were dry, bland, and bland; I wouldn't recommend them. The Special BBQ potatoes were sour, sweet, and spicy. The high-quality meat, along with the potatoes and the nice sauces, were truly delicious.

The food is great. The atmosphere could be better. The music was too quiet. The staff were too busy thinking about how to prepare each product. It felt like everyone was brand new and overwhelmed. NO GO: There are no toilets even though they have more than two tables and enough seating. Alcohol is also offered but the toilets are for staff only. This needs to be solved urgently. This is not acceptable. Especially since I was allowed to use the toilet in this branch before. Just not today. It seems to be down to the staff. But eating there is no fun like this, especially since the entire area around it is beyond borderline. There are drug addicts and salespeople everywhere. Oh well... the food was delicious though.

Unfortunately had to eat here since the place i wanted to go was full. essentially food for white people, sauce squirted on top of everything, fried chicken was ok but the sauce on top was basically just corn syrup.. Luckily i was starving so i managed to finish it

Ordered. Indicated waiting time: 30 - 50 minutes After 87 minutes I received an email. It said that the driver had rung the bell in vain and had not been able to reach anyone on the phone. He would now have put the food in front of the door (which could only have been the front door facing the street) and I would still have to pay for the delivery (which I had already paid for via Paypal). Facts: My bell works. Nobody rang the bell. There are even witnesses to this. My phone works. Nobody called. The call log also shows this There was nothing in front of any of the doors in question. Conclusion: I have now opened a case with PayPal for clarification and will no longer order there

Is it possible that a Restaurant dosent have a Toilet!!!!

The food was wonderful, we ordered Chicken Teriyaki Potatoes (left) and Chicken Teriyaki Classic (right). Both had tender chicken and flavorful sauces. Would definitely eat here again. :)

Food is crazy delicious there, my girlfriend had an oral orgasm when she tried the food there. So really great! Be sure to order the crispy beef dumplings, they were really the highlight of our evening. Top Top

Once you've made your way through the Görli, you can eat really tasty food here. I can recommend the mix menu here with bulgogi and chicken with potatoes. Unfortunately, portions are a bit small

Dough with chicken flavor. Two of us ordered the crispy chicken and our portions had at most 30% chicken to at least 70% dough. I wish I were exaggerating. The dough was crunchy and tasted good, but the tiny bits of chicken within were of poor quality, and as mentioned barely existent. We had pieces we cut in half and found no chicken in.

Great GREAT food, the cashier was extremely nice. I ordered the Crispy Chicken with both sauces which was absolutely delicious and ungodly crispy, then the Special menu, with beef and chicken, which was also incredibly flavourful, especially the beef.
