Excellent Korean cuisine! The service at this Mmaah store was an absolute joy. I have ordered an Bulgogi Beef with rice and it was just on point, the juice meat was well cooked and the sticky rice provided an amazing balance to the crunchy salad. As a personal recommendation l could recommend to everyone the cinnamon pancake for dessert, it was amazingly delicious, covered with a bit of sugar and cinnamon is the perfect way to end a good meal. The service is good, people is very friendly and provide a great service experience. The location despite being relatively small is equipped with a good amount of tables for dining in. Totally recommend!

I just ordered from you, and I've always enjoyed it before, but the chicken large bites consisted only of marinade and hot sauce, and they were cold. I had to throw them away because they tasted awful. The potatoes weren't much better either. The delivery guy was nice and punctual, so 5 points for service.

Staff at the counter was slow and incompetent. We have been to several mmaah restaurants and never had problems using our neotaste voucher. This staff couldnt even manage to replicate our order from the terminal and insisted that our order was 3EUR more than what we selected on the terminal. Lol.

We came to this place not knowing it was a fast food restaurant. The service was nice and the food was also ok. The portions are quite big without making you feel bloated. The quality of the ingredients is not amazing, but it's not bad for fast food standards. The prices are a bit expensive for the type of food.

Ordered several times in the past and always enjoyed the food, but today ordered some beef and found it very disappointing. I will order again in the future to see if it’s a one-off and adjust the review, though with the unfortunate tendency of chains to decrease quality my hopes are not high.

My husband and I ordered from Lieferando for the first time today because we've always found the food there good. However, when a dish was missing from our order and we called, the employee couldn't help us and said we should contact Lieferando. When that didn't work, we called again. But he didn't believe us and showed no understanding. He even wanted to argue and got loud. He even wanted to blame the delivery person, even though we repeatedly said that the bag was stapled shut. That we would go to the trouble of calling twice for €6.50 (we had a 50% discount voucher) is ridiculous. They refused to deliver the missing dish. Lieferando will probably refund us, but we've never experienced such behavior before.

Chicken bites with sweet chili were very good, chicken teriyaki rice was rather boring (sauce lacks flavor)

Unfortunately, it's usually quite full, or rather, the display shows a few waiting numbers. The recipes seem to have been tweaked recently, which, in my opinion, unfortunately has negatively impacted the taste. New to the menu is finally a wholesome plant-based option, which I would recommend anytime.

Overall, the food was far too salty and didn't suit my taste. For the price, it wasn't worth it in my opinion. I wouldn't go back.

The food was average and they have a lot of choices. The food takes quite long for a fastfood place, even though it wasnt busy and the portions are quite small for the price.

I recently revisited the store after more than three years and was surprised by the renovation. Unfortunately, not in a good way. What was once a cozy place with friendly employees is now a brightly lit room with giant touchscreens that replace human contact. Flashing lights everywhere and music so loud that you can't even hold a conversation. A perfect example of ruthless capitalism and gentrification – our once beautiful neighborhood has lost another charming place. What a shame.

Unfortunately after years of being weekly customers I'm officially taking this place off my list. Over the years the meat quality of the beef bulgogi has severely decreased, no longer nice and tender chunks, now just fatty thin strips, while the prices have increased. The chicken has changed too, seems like they changed suppliers and nothing tastes as good anymore. 😥 No longer worth the money in my opinion. At least the service was always good, but food is my main priority.

Since 2013, Mmaah has been bringing Korean street food to Berlin plates - and with a distinctive twist.  The menu is a feast for lovers of Korean cuisine: bulgogi beef, hotgogi chicken, mandu dumplings and crispy potatoes. The dishes taste great, but the portions could be a bit more generous for the price.  The atmosphere is relaxed, with a small but cozy indoor area and a larger outdoor seating area. Ideal for a quick bite or a relaxed meal with friends.  Conclusion: Mmaah offers authentic Korean street food in Berlin. The dishes are delicious and the service is friendly. Anyone who is willing to pay a little more for quality will not be disappointed here. 

More inspired by korean cuisine than authentic but still okay. This location is very tiny so in the evening packed with food delivery apps drivers, not really possible to sit and eat in peace.

Absolutely Delicious chicken and the service was amazing.

I imagined it somehow differently. I personally liked the classic Korean BBQ much better. Waiting time was relatively long even though there were hardly any guests there, probably because of all the online orders.

Visited on March 19, 2025, for the first time, following a recommendation. Part of a chain. Good quality for a bistro. Ordering and dispensing of the products, as well as cashless payment via a machine. We had Mandu beef. The dumplings were delicious. The potatoes could have been better. The atmosphere was typical of Friedrichshain: unpretentious and slightly alternative. The public felt at home.

Unfortunately, the Korean fried chicken has little in common with the original Korean fried chicken from Korea. The taste is disappointing.

Seriously: Anyone who has even the slightest idea about food and taste won't give this place more than 2 stars. Cheapest (ready to serve) ingredients, served lukewarm. But fit the hipster/tourist crowd. I had, among other things, salty crispy chicken bites with garlic...75% breading. The chicken was chewy and salty. The Chicken Terryaki was like a satire of the dish.

Whenever I'm in Berlin, I can't resist the amazing Korean BBQ at this place and near the Nord Station. It's my favorite spot, and the food always brings me so much joy!

I let the positive comments draw me to the store. Unfortunately, the food is incredibly bad and the atmosphere is uncomfortable. The veggie pockets were tasteless and had freezer burn. The pancakes were tiny, tasteless and very greasy. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio here is not right at all. This food has nothing to do with authentic Korean food.

I can recommend this place. They don't have toilets. This is usually not right in Germany. And you have no plates and produce a lot of waste.

Open is only from the zychkultur but still takes forever, almost as restaurant that management polished the workforce. Try hard and be quick, but don't keep up with all the orders because there aren't enough people hired. So that the company can save money. You can only feel sorry for the people who work here, please don't complain about their slowness

Pretty much the best food you can have delivered... tastes great and the packaging in which it is delivered is simply perfect for it and it has always come quickly. (At the moment (January 2025) via Lieferando 2 for 1 promotion to test... so treat yourself for a small thaler) I haven't been there yet, but I have no doubt that everything will be fine there.

This is not a cafe, this is a pickup point for couriers. Our dish got cold while we just waited until the cashier completed lots of other orders. 3 stars is only for rounded potatoes - extremely tasty! Nit a lot of vegetarian oprions.

My review refers to an order via Lieferando. I ordered Crispy Chicken 2 for 1 here. Delivery was quick. But that was the only positive thing. The chicken pieces consist almost entirely of breading, with dry rice and coleslaw. A sauce can be chosen, but there was no taste of this sauce. Maybe the food in the branch is better, that would explain how the good reviews come about. However, the food that was delivered to me was anything but tasty and unfortunately most of it ended up in the trash.
