We were very impressed by the excellent quality of all the dishes we had on our first visit here. The pleasant mix of different Asian styles on the menu is impressive in its execution! All the dishes we tried were exceptionally well-prepared and lovingly prepared. The attention to detail is evident here, and no shortcuts are taken. Every sauce, including the fried onions used in one dish, was homemade... We're already looking forward to our next visit! Enjoy!

First “experience” with sushi was a complete success. The detail was on good ingredients and limited “satisfiers” like rice. Great selection in different sizes/quantities, warm and cold. Very attractively prepared and presented in an extremely friendly manner. A nice experience.

I wanted to spend a nice evening there with my wife for Mother's Day. Despite reservations, we were able to watch as every single table that arrived after us received food because our order was lost. However, as soon as the error became known, I would have expected that our order, which was now 1.5 hours old, would be given priority. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Incredible...

I was looking for a sushi restaurant for our trip to Cologne and came across Miyu thanks to the good reviews. We had reserved online and were seated on the terrace. For starters we had chicken kaarage and the fried spring rolls. Afterwards we tested our way through the sushi and all the rolls and sashimi were great. We particularly liked Salmon Queen and Tornado. The only negative point: you can only pay in cash.

We went to Miyu to celebrate my birthday, just the two of us. The place is small and cozy, there is an open kitchen with a sushi bar, the personell is very friendly and nice. Here are a few notes: (+) Really fresh fish (+) Friendly staff (+) Nice atmosphere (-) It was way too hot and smelled significantly like fish (-) We had to wait 10-15 minutes for our table, even though we had a booking (-) Pricy

After waiting an hour, the service brought 3 of 9 dishes that were completely different from what we had ordered. Apart from a 'I'm sorry', no trace of insight. Food itself average to good with very high prices. The main thing is that the boss parks his white, tuned, lowered Mercedes with wide tires in front of the door... only cash payment 😉

A really well-equipped little restaurant with a hip flair and good sushi creations. There wasn't a wow experience in terms of taste, but everything was nicely prepared and fresh. Unfortunately the service didn't match the rest at all! We made reservations for 4 people and arrived 10 minutes early. At first we weren't noticed or greeted at the door at all. When we called attention to ourselves and brought up the reservation, there was a shrug and "You'll have to wait." That was all. So we stood around in the entrance for another 20 minutes. Finally arriving at the table, after another 25 minutes we asked if we could order. So far no one has even asked for drinks. In addition to the food, we first ordered wine and water for the entire table. Unfortunately, those were the only drinks that evening. Unless you actively ask for the service, you won't get any here. I thought that was a shame, especially because the restaurant otherwise really made a great impression. Of course, a lot of potential sales are lost as a result. The service still has a lot of room for improvement.

Our visit offered an assortment of choices when it came to sushi, and no matter which one we tried so far, none of them disappointed. For somebody who tried many different sushi places so far, this is definitely one I would suggest. Also, try the Karaage chicken!

We were there on Valentine's Day and unfortunately we weren't that thrilled. We sat at one of the tables right at the entrance. People from delivery services or people waiting for a table were constantly coming in. The restaurant was very full and the entrance area was very small, so it was rather uncomfortable when the door was opening all the time and people were waiting right next to the table in wet jackets, half hanging on the table. The food came very quickly, unfortunately the drinks didn't come until much later. The sushi was fresh and delicious. It was probably due to the day and the location of the table, but it didn't feel like "spending the evening comfortably" but more like "eating in a rush and then leaving". That was a shame for the price.

The taste of the food was excellent, especially the sushi was very tasty. Unfortunately the portion wasn't filling, which was disappointing considering the high prices. The waiting time was a big drawback, we waited 45 minutes for the food to be served. Overall, the food was tasty, but the long waiting times, small portions and high prices unfortunately made the visit a bit disappointing.

Small but nice. Really delicious food and we can't complain about the service time given the size of our group. Don't let the main course alone satisfy you. If you can tolerate more food, you can also order a small starter or a delicious dessert. The small interior area has a nice charm and of course a slightly increased noise level when the tables are full. My conclusion: COME HERE AND EAT YOUR FULL

I can't imagine a worse reception! Despite making a reservation for 8:15 p.m., you can't get a reasonable table (more like an offshoot of waiting at the toilets) on the grounds that the other guests sitting at our table still need time. I find it outrageous that the hostess doesn't get anything done and keeps asking us (not the others) for understanding. A few couples in front of us just left. If you only have a reservation for 2 hours, you have to inform the guests of this, otherwise the reservation system will not work. The evening was over for us. One more note - the food was ok, but nothing more. I wouldn't recommend it.

The food, we had sushi, was excellent. Very nicely prepared. What a feast for the eyes. Exceptionally diverse in taste. Reservation required. If possible, go at 6 p.m., because after 8 p.m. it gets too crowded and hectic for me. Come back ☺️

The food is of good quality and tastes convincing. Unfortunately the service couldn't keep up. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which led to long waiting times. Considering the price level, we would have expected a more professional and attentive service. Unfortunately, this spoiled the overall impression of the visit. With an improvement in the service area, the restaurant could reach its full potential.

When I'm in Cologne for work, I come here regularly. So regularly that the waitress already knows my favorite drink 🙈. They have sushi that looks very good. When I'm here with more people, I'll test it out. So far I have eaten the tofu teriaki, udong noodles with tofu and the veggi bowl. I can recommend all of the dishes. The service? It's really nice, of course, otherwise you wouldn't know that I like to drink ginger tea without honey... 😊

Absolutely the best Asian restaurant! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The Miyu Yaki with Argentinian beef fillet is my absolute favorite dish - if I could only eat one dish for the rest of my life, it would be exactly this! The quality of the food is simply exceptional and the taste is indescribably good. I have recommended this restaurant to so many friends and acquaintances, and everyone was just as excited as I was. It really is a place you have to visit once to understand what you have missed all these years. The service is simply top – incredibly friendly, attentive and personal. You immediately feel comfortable and welcome here. The food and service are worth every penny! If you haven't visited this restaurant yet, you should definitely do so. 100% recommended! <33

The food was delicious. Service also very nice. However, we were extremely cold in the restaurant. We sat by the heater and it was almost cold. We had extremely cold hands and feet, which was unfortunately very uncomfortable. In winter you should turn on the heating in the restaurant 😁It's not great to be cold and you shouldn't eat with a jacket on your body either. Hence 1 star deduction.

By far, our favorites sushi in Köln! Got recommended by a friend via Dyli. This new app to share restaurants between friends and the food was just excellent, you can go eyes closed if you want some very tasteful sushis. Price will be fair regards to quality as well. Note that the sushi presentation is now always as fancy as in the picture (depends which plate you pick) but the taste remains for sure amazing

A very nice restaurant with a great ambience, friendly staff and great food!! I had the Shirashi Bowl, the Salmon Queen Roll and Chicken Gyoza and everything was great. But I have to mention the bowl again: I like eating bowls and have eaten many and I have to say for €15.9, this bowl is unbeatable because you get so much fish (salmon, tuna, etc. all sashimi) and it is so delicious! ! 😍😍We'll definitely be back.
