First of all, the cheesecake with pistachios and the milk café were perfect and tasteful. But which now leads me to my experience or the experience of me and my wife. Today we went for a walk along the Isar and, since we are still quite new to Munich, we always go out for a coffee or something to eat. On the way home I had planned a surprise coffee and cake at Miss Lilly. Well said and done, we arrived at 3:20 p.m. in beautiful sunshine, and luck was on our side, a table for two was free and we sat down because the terrace was quite full. So we relaxed and waited for service and in the meantime the table behind us changed and was settled, new guests came and were given cards. However, we waited and no one paid attention to us...and we waited. In the meantime, guests sat down at another table. Now a good 15 minutes had passed and we joked that we would leave if no one was there in 5 minutes when the service came. My introduction to the conversation was "it's good that someone is coming to us, we thought no one would come" because I was being slightly sarcastic. What came next was...'usually we assign the guests a place, there is a sign on the sidewalk about this, if you don't do that you have to wait sometimes'...(My wife understood 'then we'll be happy to let them wait'...I'll use my version because that's how I heard it. Well I really always want to learn and said this and asked where the sign was, even since we were coming from the other side.. the only answer was 'there on the sidewalk' (spoiler.. when we went out we actively looked for it and found it, it was in the middle at the entrance and was a chalk board on the ground that was hidden by the bikes) Now we were actually supposed to leave...anyway, the service then said 'it doesn't matter'...I think you can use something like that as an opportunity and turn the situation around, which the service apparently didn't care much about. We now order a pistachio cheesecake and a latte, and my wife a coffee. This came quite quickly and we were then told that the cheesecake was out and there was only pistachio. I was happy to take that too. What can I say, the cheesecake was perfect, slightly pistachio note, not too much and extremely creamy, not too heavy. Just very good with an asterisk 🙏👍 The latte was also great and just as it should be, you can tell that high-quality coffee is used here. But what didn't work was my wife's coffee, the saucer was full of coffee and there were stains on the cup. We didn't say anything about this because we were still digesting the answer, and then the milk was still missing. So I called service again and milk came in a damp jug... in the meantime the coffee was cold. We took everyone with humor and then saw more and more tables changing, customers sitting down themselves and being served promptly. So we ate our stuff and paid. The conclusion for us is that we spent about an hour discussing what went wrong here, and our visit left us more excited than relaxed and fun. Please don't get me wrong, something like that can always happen where you miss a table, but then blaming the guest, serving a sorry coffee, forgetting the milk...unfortunately that doesn't leave a good impression. Even though the cheesecake was delicious, the furnishings and the toilet itself were great (yup, delicious and beautiful)... the service here ruined everything for us. After the 'welcome' he continued to be cold...and I had also looked for the fault in us...and it wasn't until we paid that they were "friendlier"... Based on this impression, we won't be visiting Miss Lilly again, which probably won't interest anyone. The afternoon on Sunday was over for us... what could we have done better? Leave immediately when the greeting was like this. It's a shame because we've never experienced anything like this in 2 years in Munich, no matter where... whether at the greengrocer or in a restaurant.

The three of us recently went to Miss Lilly's for lunch on a Friday and were disappointed. The service was quite slow for the manageable number of guests. What we really noticed negatively were the very small portions, which were offset by the high prices. 5 chicken wings and some green decoration, which was on the menu as a side salad, for around €14 is a lot. We also had the impression on previous visits that they were consciously saving on portion sizes. In retrospect, I shouldn't have choked down my shakshuka without comment, but rather complained about it straight away: the eggs were incredibly tough to chew, and the entire dish was quite tasteless. Unfortunately, it was absolutely not worth its price.

We came by here by chance and actually just wanted to have a quick coffee. It turned out to be more because we really liked the food and drinks on the next tables. Everything was very tasty, top service and a nice outdoor area to sit. We really liked and enjoyed it.

We were there for dinner. The service was great, we had super friendly and committed service! :) the ambience, the flair, the atmosphere and the food - everything was really top notch. We would definitely like to come back! :))

You can have a great breakfast here and the service is also very friendly. Great selection of food and really well made coffee and juices.

We sat outside. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for the waitress to serve us. It also took quite a while for breakfast to be served. Some dishes weren't available to order at 12:00. Therefore, our bill had to be changed. I don't think that was to our advantage. However, I can't say for sure. But I can't imagine the white sausages were more expensive than the other dishes.

A really great restaurant that I can fully recommend. The service is first class, the food selection is impressive and the food itself is absolutely delicious. We come here regularly and enjoy the culinary experience every time. Absolutely worth a visit!

Great location for breakfast, large breakfast menu, there is something for everyone. The English breakfast was excellent, the Italian sausages were very tasty and the beans were also very tasty. Lovely staff, they had no problem finding us a great table with 45 min advance. Relaxed atmosphere. Food is straightforward good. Loved the cauliflower appetizer and pasta with prawns. Portions are very generous. Regret not having tried the cheesecake.

We have been regular guests for many years. The quality has always been consistently great since then. The spectrum ranges from a wonderful breakfast to a delicious dinner. Also sometimes vegetarian. It's small enough that the volume level remains tolerable, especially in the evening, and you can have a decent conversation. I particularly like the back corner with the fireplace - I've dozed off there for a bit and it was very nice. Thank you for being here and stay the way you are!

There were four of us and we had breakfast there, we both had breakfast for two and I have to say it's not quite that clever when you make two bowls, one with fruit and one with Greek yoghurt, it makes a huge mess at the table.. Eiscappo was good, the mint spritzer was also good and the service was OK. What I didn't like was that when we asked for bread a second time, we were told that we had paid for it too, but the innkeepers should think about it when they put so much sausage on a platter that there are people who don't have any You don't want to have 100g of sausage on your bread, especially when the bread is as good as here. And if it were smaller it wouldn't have to cost over 30€, because in my opinion 65€ for a breakfast with drinks for two is a lot and if I'm honest I was way too full but at that price you can't leave it behind leave and throw away. So just a little smaller in my opinion.

We went to Miss Lilly's for breakfast today. The breakfast is delicious and the service is also ok. However, strollers are not welcome in the restaurant, which was very noticeable to us from the service. In the summer, coffee grounds are burned there, which is supposed to drive away the wasps. In any case, it smelled terribly of smoke because everything was drawn inside through the open windows. We found this very disturbing as we also had small babies with us. When I asked, the waitress didn't even want to put it away. It would have been nice to pay attention to the needs of your guests.

The modern bistro impresses with a cozy interior and an impressive selection of delicious snacks and drinks. I particularly liked the various vegetarian options. The coffee is strong and aromatic, just the way I like it. The fast and friendly service rounds off the positive experience. A perfect place for a short break.

Wir waren als Familie zum Brunchen im Miss Lillys, am Wochenende sollte man lieber vorher anrufen und reservieren, sonst kann es schon mal voll sein. Es hat wie immer super geschmeckt und der Service war flott und nett. Jederzeit wieder. Jetzt müssen wir es nur noch Abends mal ins Moritz schaffen.

Ich war hier zum Frühstück. Es gibt klassische Gerichte, aber auch etwas andere Sachen. Es war alles frisch gekocht, hat gut geschmeckt. Der Service war freundlich und man kann schön draußen sitzen.

I find it very cheeky that the card payment device offers the three preset tip options of 10%, 15% or 25%. This is not the USA where you can pay employees below minimum wage. Edit: "Those who can read have a clear advantage." That's why I wrote that the height of the !PRESET! Options bothersome - which you would know if you had read my review. Everyone is probably aware that in your case these are simply a little psychological trick (keyword: "leaning towards the middle", decoy effect) to get more tips by offering more guidance. Other stores manage to offer 5%, 10% and 15/20% as defaults in SumUp. Except Miss Lilly's.

Nice breakfast restaurant with a large outdoor area. There are even special dishes in May during the asparagus season. The highlight for me was the breakfast burrito.

Very nice spot to have lunch. I have tried the Flammkuchen and linguine with spinach and lemon pesto with grilled tiger prawns. Everything very tasty. Food and drinks (without alcohol) for two people around 40-45 euros. Very friendly waitresses.

The breakfast is legendary and you should definitely make a reservation on Sunday in advance. The cakes are homemade. And the service, especially on Sundays, can only be viewed as a model. Despite the hectic pace and full shop, the service remains on point and even very friendly. See for yourself. I'm always happy to come back!

The two of us spontaneously went to Miss Lilly's for breakfast. Got a table straight away. Because of the great sun, all the tables outside were occupied. The ambience inside is very nice. The service was super friendly and nice. Breakfast for two came quickly and was very tasty. I would rate the price as medium to high. Nevertheless we will come back.

Nettes und gutes Restaurant. Das Essen war für uns nicht durch super weil wir gewisse Rinderrassen geschmacklich nicht so toll finden. Sonst ist es ein wirklich schönes Erlebnis und wir werden wieder kommen.

Wir waren sehr lange dort und wurden super bedient und hatten nichts das Gefühl vermittelt bekommen, den Tisch räumen zu müssen, wie das manchmal bei anderen Orten der Fall ist. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren zum Geburtstagsessen in kleiner Runde am Morgen mit kleinen Kindern dort. Uns hat’s dort sehr gut gefallen, es war jedoch auch zu diesem Zeitpunkt wenig los.

We always enjoy being there. The changing lunch menu includes a different fish, meat, vegetarian and vegan dish every week. It's a fair price-performance ratio and always very tasty. There is a large selection of cakes and the best cappucino (also caffeine-free, also with oat milk). The breakfast menu also offers a large selection. All employees are very friendly, courteous and quick.

Ein Nachbarschaftscafe mit gutem Frühstück

Die Tische waren sehr sah aneinander, sodass man nicht wirklich Abstand zu seinen fremden Nachbarn hatte. Sonst war aber alles prima!

Zum frühstücken hin, Sonntag. Natürlich gebucht am Vortag. Am Tag des Frühstücks noch rechtzeitig (um 9:00 morgens)umgebucht (Zeit geändert statt 13:30 um 12:00). Als wir ankamen, fragten wir drinnen die Dame (Inhaberin) die an der Getränken arbeitete, wieso für uns kein Tisch frei war. Wir haben freundlich gesagt, dass wir zwischenzeitlich unsere Reservierung geändert hatten (via opentable, völlig legitim). Leider kam Ihre Antwort sehr genervt und gemein "ja, an einem Sonntag mitten im Hochbetrieb umzubuchen ist sehr schlau!!", dann zu Ihrem Kollegen "also dieses Online buchen müssen wir mal echt lassen ". Ich meine, wenn sowas von der App opentable zugelassen wird, ist nicht der Kunde schuld. Zum Glück ging dann ein Paar und der sehr nette Kellner an dem Tag (weil wie man weiß, bei Lillys gibt es Kellner die Spaß an ihrem Job haben und Kellner die meistens einen schlechten Tag haben...) gab uns einen Tisch. Zwei Sterne für die supernette Bedienung (der Herr mit den langen, lockigen Haar) und ein Stern für das gute Frühstück. Schade, so mit Stammkunden umzugehen...

Sehr aufmerksamer Service, essen lecker und toll angerichtet. Auch neue interessante Kreationen. Volle Empfehlung. Am Wochenende zumindest Frühstück besser reservieren.

Ein wunderbarer Ort an dem wir erstmalig gefrühstückt haben. Wir wurden sympathisch empfangen und bedient. Obwohl das Bistro sehr voll war, fühlten wir uns stets gut versorgt. Das Essen war großartig! Eine absolute Empfehlung.

Schönes Lokal mit leckerem Frühstück. Terrasse lange in der Sonne. Professioneller Service mit besonderem Charme. Angenehmes Giesinger Publikum. Einzig die vielen Wespen sind im Sommer etwas nervig.

Die Auswahl im Miss Lilly's ist vielseitig für alle Tageszeiten. Die vegetarische und vegane Auswahl ist gut und kreativ. Die Rotebeete- Knödel und die Linguine waren superlecker und die Portionen sättigend. Preis-Leistung passt. Reservierung wird empfohlen. Kommen gerne wieder.

Das Personal war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Portionen waren ausreichend und jedes Gericht geschmacklich ausgezeichnet. Kann den Laden nur empfehlen. Wir waren Freitag vormittag dort und es war nicht voll, deshalb auch der Geräuschpegel klein. Gemütliches Ambiente, viel Samt und Holz.

Für uns ein kleiner Geheimtipp in Giesing. Freundliche & aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, tolles Wetter am letzten Wochenende am 01.11.2023. Einzig nervig waren die Wespen, aber dafür kann das Lokal nicht. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder. Danke für das schöne Frühstück.
