Mirami Sushi Restaurant in Berlin

Highly recommended. The dishes were very tasty. The service was very attentive. This was my second time there. If you're going to the Tempodrom and want to eat something beforehand, this is the right place.

We just wanted plates, no drama 😳 For my birthday, I went to the restaurant with my family – eight people in total – and sat in a separate room. The visit was even recommended by the owner, which made the disappointment all the greater. Up to a certain point, we were served friendly and attentively by a waitress. As the evening drew to a close, we wanted to ask the nearest waiter, a young man with glasses, for plates for the cake. One of our group made himself known with a gesture and a brief word – as best the space allowed, as we were sitting without visual contact with the main area. The waiter, who had also served us earlier, reacted irritably: "I'm only human. Can't you see I'm busy?" and "The way you talk to me is completely unacceptable." Irritated by his statement, the next question was whether there was a problem. He seemed to want to demand understanding – by insisting on respectful treatment, but in a way that showed little respect himself. Our simple request was thus invalidated, and we turned back to the waitress. What remained was an uncomfortable silence at the table – the mood was ruined 🙂 Despite communicating in a language familiar to him, the professionalism one would normally expect from service was lacking at this particular moment. Even though service can be busy, one still expects that personal frustrations aren't taken out on the guest 😉 The food was solid, but unfortunately, with a bitter aftertaste left by that waiter with the glasses.

Discovered by chance while looking for a sushi spot. Great lunch! Very quick, great value for money. First, a coconut soup and a 0.2 liter drink + (for us) 12 sushi pieces + sauce, a total of €12.90. Tastes simply amazing!

In my opinion, good sushi in terms of both quality and taste. The service team is friendly and fast. I really like the ambience, not this exaggerated Far Eastern decorative confusion but discreetly elegant. Not pricey for every day but ok.

There were 5 of us and we had reserved. We were there for Women's Day. Was well attended. On which days do I think it is better to book a table. Food was good. Sushi was served quite quickly (I know restaurants where you have to wait 40-60 minutes). The furnishings were nice, but not super nice either. Overall it was a nice visit.

If you like deep fried sushi - this is a place to be. I don't in particular. The place is overpriced. But the strangest thing there is the staff. I was there just an hour after the opening and suddenly all off the staff sat down in the middle of the restaurant and had lunch together. No one was waiting tables anymore, they just sat there and ate. I had to walk to their table and bag them if I could, please, get one more drink. Bizzare.

The “brunch” on Sunday took me to Mirami. In my opinion it's not really a brunch - as expected there is no breakfast - so I would call it more of a lunch. The buffet (pretty typically Asian with some Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai & Japanese) is not huge but is completely sufficient for the price and, in my opinion, of really good quality! Unfortunately, none of the dishes on offer were labeled, but there was poultry, beef, fish, tofu, sushi, noodles, rice, sweet potato fries, vegetables, edamame, a small salad, finger food such as tempura shrimp, spring rolls, summer rolls, gyoza, dumplings and dessert in the form of pudding, baked banana, sesame balls with red bean puree filling and some fruit. The selection of drinks is also okay and, as is typical, not very cheap, but I personally found them really tasty (I had homemade rhubarb spritzer/iced tea). I would have perhaps liked a Peking or Tom Kha Gai soup as a starter and perhaps some cake or ice cream for dessert. I found the ambience of the restaurant really nice, the sanitary area was relatively clean, the buffet was always replenished and the staff was friendly and always put away empty dishes. All in all very satisfied and I would definitely recommend it.

The sushi was really extremely tasty and literally melted in your mouth 🤤 The service was very friendly and quick, it just took a while to wait. At that point it was also quite full. A better view of empty glasses would still have been good. The restaurant is otherwise very clean and offers plenty of space. It was just a little too dark for me in the outside areas. But all in all a great experience. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

You can certainly eat well here, but sushi and rice dishes are not a culinary highlight or anything different from mediocre. It wasn't particularly seasoned and there was no trace of peanuts in the sauce! Service and ambience top!

Fresh and delicious. The sushi fell apart a bit, but the quality was very good. The pho was also spicy and a good portion. I find the price/performance ratio here to be balanced.

Were here during the Geman Masters. You were super flexible because we didn't make a reservation. No long waiting times for food. The quality of the food is excellent. However, more waiters would be recommended. The one who served was overwhelmed.

We decided on this restaurant at short notice and were absolutely not disappointed. The service was great and the food tasted excellent. If we are in Berlin again and near Mirami Sushi, then definitely again.

Good prices, great food. The menu is quite extensive, so you'll always have something new to try. The two of us spent 44€ and really enjoyed ourselves. The food was flavourful, light and creamy. Even though I usually hate coconut the shake was lovely. Looking forward to coming back to try more sushi. The restaurant is popular, so you might want to make a reservation if you're coming in during the dinner rush. The service can become slow when the tables fill up too. The restaurant is loud, something about the walls seems to amplify the noise, so if you're sensitive you should only visit when it's less busy or bring something with noise cancellation. Otherwise the atmosphere is quite nice.

The sushi tastes excellent! Skillfully prepared, I can only recommend it.

My recommendation is the Sunday sushi brunch from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Many sushi variations. Plus warm dishes such as shrimp skewers, udon noodles, fried rice and duck 🦆 crispy.

Ambiance is really great. Staff too. Unfortunately, cleaning of the kitchen etc. starts at 9 p.m., even though it is open until 10 p.m. This is also done quite loudly and you feel pushed out. The food is generally good but the final whistle is missing.

Unfortunately, there is a sign in the door stating that there are significant restrictions on card payments. A no go for a city like Berlin, which is why I left straight away. It's downright strange to hang something like that in Turkey.

The food was a culinary delight, the service was wonderful and the ambience invites you to linger. Price performance more than reasonable! My insider tip and I say see you next time!

In short: we were satisfied, but there was a little something missing in everything. Service was very quick and therefore hectic. Unfortunately the main course came before we finished the starter. In my opinion, the sushi as a starter was very good, the duck as the main course was decent, but nothing more. So overall a good 4 stars

Delicious food, good value for money, nice atmosphere

I was there at lunchtime. Unfortunately you could only use a very small menu with a few sushi combinations on it... plus the typical Vietnamese food. If you want fine sushi, this is the wrong place. If you want a cheap lunch, you can do it here. My bad rating comes mainly because of the tuna rolls, which did not contain raw tuna but rather canned tuna. For me as a sushi lover, this was an absolute scandal

Very cozy restaurant. Nice service and very tasty food. In summer you can sit outside on the terrace. We can highly recommend the sushi and the sunshine chicken (photo 2). As a starter we had the spring rolls and edamame. (Photo 1) For dessert we had the baked banana (Photo 3) If there is an event at the Tempodrom in the evening, you should definitely make a reservation!!!

We liked it very much!! The sushi was very delicious and the wines were the same, I can say that it is a value for money place. An ideal place for a quiet, romantic dinner. If we come to Berlin again, we will definitely come here again.

It is very surreal how a place like this can have such a high rate.Only in Germany for German taste and expectations 😄in any other country or city with a minimum of culinary culture this place couldnt even exist. when it opened it was decent,but my last experience speaks of Food Absolutely made without love ,cheap ingredients ,service classic of Berlin(i m almost doing you a favour to give you food and give you a table) And to spend 30€ for a plate without any taste,a tea and a Mango Lassi.. Average fake asian atmosphere and decoration also made for germans expectations Those restaurants in other countries would be almost illegal,in Berlin gets a 4.6 rate 😅

Lovely place, great ambience, tasty sushi. The good part is, if you spend over €30, they accept International Cards as well (but please do check beforehand). I really liked the dimly lit ambience in the evening, adds privacy and an elegant touch with the candles on tables. Staffs were very friendly and food items were of varying taste (per liking of individuals of course). What stood out was the sushi collection. I will revisit without hesitation to try ALL the variations. 😋

It’s a fusion of japanese vietnamese and a bit western touch I really need to have asian food after my marathon and i found this resto near my hotel The resto looked packed from the outside I ordered chicken n rice (forget the name) and it’s good The meat tender n juicy No wonder they get 4.5 star on google review

We were in Berlin again as holiday guests and visited this restaurant alongside our appointments. What can I say, absolute world class. Ambience very pleasant and cozy, but still modern. Places and location clean. Drinks came quickly, food as usual with a little delay for starters. We were very impressed by the selection; everything was fresh, full-bodied and wholesome. The waitresses were always friendly, but never intrusive. The fact that our little son was present didn't bother anyone here. We can recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back. We came for dinner after this being the most local restaurant to where we were staying. We had long island iced teas, sushi rolls (ebi maki) , duck on holiday and lucky beef. The long island iced teas were not good; disappointing as they tasted just like orange juice with a dash of alcohol. Not good and not a usual long island iced tea. The ebi rolls were flavourless and not freshly made given how quickly they came out. They tasted bland, were mushy, and falling apart on arrival. The duck on holiday dish looked good on first glance. The duck was hard, dry and was grey. The lighting in the room makes it difficult to see this unless you really look up close. When I told two staff members this, I was told they would tell the chef but we did not see this. Nothing was done about it and we were still charged full price despite complaining and barely eating. The beef was okay. Very chewy but a good broth. The poc choy was half and half; a few bits were cooked and some was raw. The sauce we were given was sriracha in a dish with a spoon. We used some of this, and it was then taken back to the bar area. They took the spoon out, put more sauce on top, then covered back over to be used again. This made us feel really uncomfortable as we questioned how many times this had been done. Somebody before us could have dipped directly into the sauce and how many times it has been re-used before us is so unhygienic! Unbelievable. Would NOT recommend and we will not be returning.

Nice Vietnamese and Japanese restaurant.

A good restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine and very good sushi. The ambience is understatedly elegant, with a beautiful terrace right next door. On Sunday there is a very good brunch from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Food was OK. Drinks were much less than the first round 😜

We went to the restaurant for dinner at 8:00 pm on weekdays. There were quite a lot of customers when we arrived. Because there were four of us, the waiter suggested that we order the sushi combo set menu, which cost 99 euros. She said there were too many customers in the restaurant, so she suggested ordering this set meal would be better. Quick, after the meal was served, it was indeed a variety of sushi, including fried sushi, nigiri, cucumber rolls, and sashimi. The meal was delicious, but there was no ice cubes under the sashimi, which made me a little worried about it. Fresh question, I also ordered fried udon (forgot to take a photo) and it tasted quite delicious, more Vietnamese than Japanese fried udon.

Nice Asian restaurant with a small outdoor area. When the weather was nice, we had a table outside and were served very courteously. The dishes were very attractively prepared and delicious. My dish was slightly spicy, but I didn't notice it, but otherwise it was very tasty. We'll definitely come back.

The best salmon dishes in Berlin. Love it!

The staff is very friendly, we ordered various sushi, which was served after a reasonable time. The quality was great and there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The dessert of bananas in batter would have tasted even better with a little more honey. All in all, I can highly recommend the restaurant as the prices are also very reasonable.

A very nicely decorated restaurant with a very good menu. I come here very often and have tried many things on the menu. Everything was top dishes. Highly recommended.

Although the weather was great, we preferred to sit inside as the narrow wooden folding chairs outside looked very uncomfortable. It was quite empty inside, but unfortunately we were seated at a table that wasn't clean. The food was fresh and tasty, although the peanut sauce hardly tasted like peanuts, more like curry.

We had ramen soup, tuna yaki, and moi sunrise salad, which offered a delightful balance of flavors. The ramen was rich and savory, with perfectly cooked noodles, while the tuna yaki had a fresh, delicate taste. The moi sunrise salad was a refreshing and light dish, rounding out a well-executed meal.

We really enjoy going out for Asian food more often. But - in the case of Mirami Sushi - it is quite rare to get such authentic food outside of Vietnam. Really, very good tapas and more! We would love to come back!!!

Dirty table, rolls a centimeter thick. Not tasty, do not recommend. The worst part is that the waitress boldly asked us twice how much tip we would leave. We left a tip, but this place is not worth it. Disgusting experience, even in the US or Australia we have not encountered such a thing.

One of the best meals we have ever had: an amazing dining experience! We also went back for lunch and the experience was fantastic, just like the night before.

I had dinner with the family and our. dog. The food was really good, the staff very friendly, helpful and quick. The place is also very nice. Prices in line with other places in Berlin.

I would give the service 6 stars if that were possible here. We received such a warm welcome and were looked after so kindly throughout the evening. The sushi was very tasty and was freshly prepared. The restaurant is furnished with a lot of love and taste. We'll be back! :-)

We took food to go with us for the train ride. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and prepared our sushi for us very quickly so that we could get to our train on time. Unfortunately we couldn't eat on site, but the restaurant has a really nice ambience. Definitely recommended if you're in the area, the food is really delicious👍

Incredibly fresh and flavorful Vietnamese food, but skip the sushi. Chicken curry was very flavorful, and all the meat were tender and juicy. Cocktails were great and they were beautifully garnished with fresh herbs and vegetables. Everything was great except sushi. Sushi was not great. Not the right texture abcs taste. They were using old rice and not enough rice vinegar in the rice.

Great ambience, great music in the background. You immediately feel comfortable and can leave everyday life behind you. Food super fresh and very tasty. Modern card also suitable for non-fish fans. Great service and nice staff. Card payment possible from 25 euros and also sushi to go.

Such an amazing place. We were impressed by the food, the atmosphere was very stylish and the service was friendly. That was a wonderful evening.
