Worst loading ever!!! Attention tourists!!! This is just a deduction!! DONT GO HERE IF YOU ARE A TOURIST!!!

My fruit plate was partly dirty and the fruit had been lying in the non-refrigerated room for at least a few days. The strawberries were already older and this showed and the pineapple was completely dry. At a price of 15 euros you can expect really fresh fruit like a fresh mint leaf and a beautifully designed plate. That's not possible, 2 stars because the waiters were very nice.

My salad tasted very dry. And the person sitting next to me had a fruit salad with partially rotten fruit. But the service was good

Yesterday I was at Mio with my girlfriend. Without a reservation, we were able to secure a spot despite it being busy. So there are enough places. Unfortunately, I can't say what it's like if you come at peak times. The order came very quickly and the food was prepared very quickly. That was very amazing. However, the food also tasted good. We had the cheese nachos. The nachos are completely tasteless as is the cheese that was on top of the nachos. The cheese wasn't skimped on here either; it felt like it was more cheese than nacho. As a result, many of the nachos were no longer crispy but rather soft. And the cheese dip was also completely tasteless. I've already eaten better dip in cinemas. The tomato gnocchi was tasty, but the taste was a bit reminiscent of Maggi's tomato sauce. I had the large steak 350g. What can I say here, the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. However, it also had almost no spice whatsoever. There was steak seasoning sprinkled over it, but you almost didn't taste it at all. The fries were good, but you can't go wrong with fries. I also had a three pepper sauce. It tasted very good. When paying with a card, we were asked if we wanted to pay the tip with a card. For my standards, I found the question about tips a bit bold. Either the guest says on their own that they will tip or they don’t.

Bad thing, food was lukewarm. Several were asked for the bill but made no effort to get us to pay.

Waited 10 mins until I had to go get the menu for myself. Waited another 20 mins beckoning on anyone I could find until someone finally came. To crown it all, the waiter finally came and served us a very rude comment after my mum complained. “Can’t you see we are busy“.

I can't express how disappointed I am. You think you're going to have a good meal here, but you're quickly proven wrong. The dishes in no way reflect what is promised on the menu. The floor outside is dirty and unsightly, the furniture on the terrace is old and worn, so in In hindsight, it would be better to avoid this restaurant. For example, I ordered Cordon Bleu with fries and cranberry sauce. Conclusion Cordon Bleu is the finest frozen style, fries cold. Thank you, there will be no second visit.

The atmosphere is good, the best thing is that it closes quite late. It's right under the television lollipop. You can eat, or just have a drink. They have cocktails and many types of beer. It's not cheap

We became aware of the restaurant through the pictures depicted for each dish on the menu, which looked very appealing. Unfortunately, the actual food left a lot to be desired. The schnitzels were little more than a children's portion, the pasta sauces were not edible and the noodles in the Mac & Cheese Burger were not available. When it came, it was only lukewarm. In addition, the curry in Currywurst was not available. Absolutely no recommendation! I would give zero stars if possible.

Absolute rip off... We were there for a birthday. Fries were cold and wobbly, pasta was a child's portion, it was not possible to eat together, by the time the last person got their food, the first ones were already finished. Drinks weren't forgotten and we had to argue about who was right when ordering. I also work in the catering industry, an apology would have been appropriate here, no, there was a lot of loud discussion. Now comes the icing on the cake, I wanted an entertainment receipt, after ages of back and forth it was issued to me. However, wrong! There are things on it that no one at the table has ordered. And things are missing that were put on another receipt. I paid €120, but my receipt says €92.40. This is fraud!!! Absolutely underground... Never again,….

The staff really ruined the great atmosphere of the place, being absolutely listless and unfriendly. In addition, a tip was expected and we were told twice - almost penetratingly - that a tip was not included in the bill total... The food was nothing special, unfortunately the price/performance doesn't match at all with the service provided.

Disaster... Raggedy outdoor area... chairs, tables broken... menu completely messed up... and to top it all off, a moldy currant on my cocktail... When the waiter pointed this out, he disposed of them without batting an eye and without comment. Thanks for nothing...

Beware of money being stolen when swiping your card! We told the waitress we’d like to pay by card and she told us it was 85 euros without showing me the bill. My husband trusted her and swiped 85 euros without any doubt. But for me it is strange to pay without seeing the receipt, so I asked her to show me the bill, and she said yes, but 10 minutes passed and she didn't come back. I asked her colleague again, but no one paid any attention to me. Finally, I had to find her to give me the bill. As I guessed, we actually only spent 74.8 euros, which means she stole nearly 10 euros without our consent. Of course, I got my money back in the end. I just hope that this behavior is not condoned by the restaurant.

Excellent choice for pizza and excellent service, friendly and pleasant staff. Excellent prices, even considering that you are located next to the TV tower.

Just don't even think about going. The problem is not the food, it is the treatment and the waiters, who will try to take your bill. If they can't help you with the bill, then they will demand a tip. Don't go and if you're already there, leave.

There were several choices in food that you could choose. The food we got was tasty but nothing special. When paying we had to ask again 4 times if we could pay, which was already ridiculous and when paying I was also forced to give a tip where I first said €5 and he then forced me to tip 10%. When entering my PIN code, the man also asked for my telephone number.

Fast service at the start, but main was served too fast after the appetizer. However after serving the main, the service was slow/long waiting times. When we could finally pay, the waiter made stupid remarks and asked for a phone number of one of the girls in our group. Also he tried to force you into a bigger tip. Overall there are far better options in Berlin.

Came for drinks and a small something to eat, we bought around 7 drinks including a huge litre beer, alongside small sides and it came to under €80, friendly staff and nice food!

Menu overly diverse. The dishes mainly come from the freezer. What was striking is that Mio has the same menu as that of Carambar. A restaurant located 100 meters further. The service was lousy and the begging for a tip was even more disgusting.

We went there for brunch in a group of about 15 people and we all enjoyed it! The food was beautifully prepared, the coffee was very good and the team was caring. If you share the "Breakfast in Berlin" as a couple, you have a very good price/performance ratio and a huge selection. I had toast Hawaii and bruschetta (see picture). The Mio is chic, cozy and very centrally located directly under the television tower. Also a very good alternative to hotel breakfast if you are visiting Berlin and then perhaps want to explore all the attractions at Alexanderplatz.

It's a fun place that invites you to get into the holiday mood. Nice and friendly staff with a lot of patience and a good mood. The food is not exceptional but tasty. The furniture is not new but serves its purpose. There is plenty of space. And families with children are in good hands here.

One of the absolute worst restaurants we have been to. Serving was poor at communicating, tables and chairs were greasy and did not match in height The food was delivered quickly, but you could tell by the quality. The food was boring, both texture and taste were wrong. The mushroom sauce was terrible and the schnitzel was as thin as a piece of cold meat with breading. The prices are at the level of a quality restaurant, so this place can be categorized as a real tourist trap.

Dishonest, vicious and petty. The taste of the dishes we had were OK but nothing more, the quantities were very small (you have to eat somewhere else if you have a normal stomach). When it's time to pay, the waiter brings us the bill: €35.20 and puts €40.20 on the credit card machine. I ask him why? He tells me that 10% is obligatory, this is so that he gets paid because the rest of the bill goes to his boss (staff costs and says in a small voice “tips”). I pay, I realize that the manipulation is dishonest, I go to see him, he gave me back my €5 when I told him that I was going to post a Google review. If I want to give a tip I give one, if the service is not correct I don't give one, no need to manipulate to extract money from tourists.

The menu card showed great dishes, but the disappointment was great when the food was served. The staff was not very present and it took 3 attempts before our order was complete... The only thing that makes up for it is the location and the good weather☀️

Ambience is worth 4 stars. But that was it. The food was not served hot and we let 1 of 3 meals go back. Pepper sauce was put over the knuckle of pork and we didn't want that. It should be mushroom sauce. So it was stuck back and the service said we would get a new one. Finally it was scraped down and the mushroom sauce was poured over it. That alone is an outrage. In terms of taste, the kitchen gets more than 2 stars and that's enough. You will never see me there again.

Two years ago, when we moved to Berlin, contrary to expectations, it was very good. Since then, quality and quantity have dropped significantly, we won't come anymore, we've become a tourist trap. White wine warm, expensive and bad, pasta dish Rigatoni with a whopping 15 noodles. warm beer, watery juice spritzer. Nobody is full, the taste is mediocre. It's a shame, it used to be great.

Friendly and efficient service with a waiter from Morocco. Like the other eateries on Alexanderplatz, a lot of strange dishes (currywurst on pizza, for example), but good sausages. Compared to nearby eateries, incredibly efficient and pleasant place that gives you the holiday feeling.

For €12 I had the smallest salad I've ever seen (a few lettuce leaves and about 6 strips of chicken). I was very hungry and really expected more. Service was also bottomless. Very dissatisfied. Almost cried.

They were really rude, all my friends were drinking while I was unwell, they told me that if I didn't drink anything I had to leave and I ended up asking not to leave alone. When we asked for the bill we saw that the price was very high for what we ordered and when we asked to review the bill we saw that they wanted to charge us for 8 extra beers, 2 pizzas and an ice cream. Better to go to another bar.

To also mention something positive; the location is great. That’s it, drinking and eating taste ok at best, but they cost a lot (bag of tea: €3.80 with lukewarm water). The service is underground! And in the end there were €47.50 left over which our table had to pay for, EVEN THOUGH everyone was sure that none of us had ordered the things that were left. The happy hour regulations were only adhering to the bill arbitrarily. The waiter didn't approach us in any way, he just wanted the money.

We were actually there on a weekday at lunchtime. Despite the very touristy place, it wasn't very crowded. But I can well imagine that it can get very crowded during prime time. The selection of food was large and the portions were quite generous. Prices were okay according to the location.

After 20 minutes and repeated requests, we were finally allowed to order our drinks. 30 minutes and 3 questions later we still had nothing to drink. The Mio at Alexanderplatz was a total disaster. The food came quickly, but it wasn't difficult to prepare. The pancakes were frozen, the sauce was cold and tasted terrible. The cutlery was dirty. It didn't look like the pictures in the card. Some supplements were completely missing. Instead of maple syrup, mustard was added to the sweet pancakes. A pure disappointment.

TLDR: save yourself from worst customer service in Berlin. I didn't know that ordering something is a crime in this restaurant because that's how the server treated my friend and me. The server first made a rude face while taking the order. When the order was getting served she made some knarly comment softly to the nearby staff. When i complained about the cleanliness of the glass in which it was served,she didnt even bother and made some more comments. I asked her if there is a problem and she said nothing. I also asked why she is being rude and making comments and she denied. There is something called INTEGRITY. Teach your staff to own their behaviour and behave politely to customer.

We have just arrived Berlin and wanted to eat something nearby Alexander Platz. This place definetly was a mistake. Unprofessional staff, worn forniture, dirty curtain and windows. In the menu parmesan written but you can find cheap cheese on your pizzz. Never ever choose again.

Food doesn't look like it does on the menu. The portions are relatively small in some cases. The service is more bad than good. You've finished drinking and want another drink. But the employees have no eyes for this. But when they pay they want to see the tip. All in all a Turi stall.

Service doesn't let you finish talking and just gives a different answer, which we didn't even ask about. The first round of cocktails was good and quick. The food was also on the table very quickly, but certainly did not look like the images on the menu. The fries were cold and the meat was scanty. When I indicated to the waiter that I had received the wrong second cocktail, the girl left it on the table and completely ignored me. Then I walked to the manager. He poured it into another glass and left it at that. During checkout we received the wrong products to pay for. When we finally got the right price, they rounded the bill up nicely. Incredibly rude and unmotivated waiters. The waiter immediately became loud when we were sad (without expressing it, just by looking at us) that our favorite ice cream flavors were not available but were on the menu. There are much better restaurants at Alexanderplatz and in the surrounding area, including places to eat ice cream.

Beautiful restaurant at the Berlin TV tower, nice to sit in, comfortable outdoor seating. TOP service, fast and always super friendly, the food was good and attractively prepared, price/performance ratio was fine. Ice cream is also recommended, we were super satisfied with the overall package and would be happy to come back next time we visit Berlin.

Deep-fried frozen food carelessly prepared and served dripping in fat. There was no mayonnaise or ketchup with the soggy fries. A mini bowl of cranberries. The schnitzel has more breading than anything else…. The food was there before the drinks and the cutlery 🤔. The Cola Zero 0.4 L was 0.2 L when the ice cubes were removed. Empty plates remained there for ages even though a service person came by several times. When there was no tip for the run-of-the-mill meal, the waitress asked three times whether that was correct. We paid €44.50. Thank you, never again...
