Lots of food at a high price, they changed what I wanted without asking and when you complain they don't give you a solution, apart from that for the extra €7 change they charge you, like many comments, REAL SCAMMERS NEVER GO

Breakfast doesn't look anywhere near what it looks like on the internet and in the menu. According to the description of the sweet breakfast: croissant, pancakes, Nutella and jam. A croissant and pancakes covered in chocolate sauce were brought. Fruit was moldy or not ripe Too much was charged Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't great either. It was cold + a bird was flying around the whole time (INDOOR!!)

I recently ordered cake, one chocolate and one cheese It tastes anything but homemade, just like a ready-made cake that has been warmed up. The chocolate cake was also just a light cake with small pieces of chocolate, that should perhaps be added. It was burnt I requested a refund and didn't receive it. I will never order from here again, I absolutely cannot recommend it and especially for such a price

Went to Venus in Berlin and just wanted to have something to drink and eat in the evening when we came across you at the television tower. We were very happy with everything we ordered and will definitely come back.

We received a warm welcome and were quickly escorted to a beautiful table. We were then able to place our order in a very short time. The drinks were served after a few minutes and in an extremely friendly manner! The food was excellent! But what is really remarkable is the attention and friendliness towards all guests. We felt very comfortable. Thank you for the lovely time. The restaurant is highly recommended!

When I think of bad customer service in Berlin, Mio Berlin immediately comes to mind. It's an Italian restaurant in a prime spot, right under the Berlin TV Tower. With such a central location and stylish decor, you'd expect a great dining experience, but unfortunately, the reality was very different. From the start, things went downhill. There was no one to greet us or show us to a table, so we wandered around awkwardly before seating ourselves. When I asked for recommendations, it was clear the server was more interested in upselling the priciest items than in understanding our preferences. When the food arrived, the disappointment continued. The bruschetta, for instance, came with soggy, flavorless tomatoes that were completely unappealing. But the worst part of the evening happened when my friend noticed her drink tasted different from her previous visit. Instead of fixing it, the server shockingly told her to get up, walk over to the bar, and ask the bartender to make it the way she wanted. We were both baffled by this response. To make matters worse, as she approached the bar, she nearly slipped on a puddle of water that had been left unattended, with no reaction from the staff. They seemed completely indifferent to both the mess and our experience. Overall, the whole visit felt chaotic and unprofessional, and the dismissive attitude of the staff left a lasting impression—for all the wrong reasons. This is one dining experience I won’t be forgetting anytime soon, though not in a good way.

Extremely bad, horrible taste, extremely low quality, plus they brought the bill to our table without us asking, as if they wanted us to leave quickly, since “unfortunately” we ordered a lot of things to eat, we should have tried something first to see how the quality was low

Very bad, food completely different from what was presented, flavor to be desired, high value for quality. The dry waiters, I hadn't even finished eating, already turned off the air conditioning next to me, brought the bill without asking, all they had to do was pick me up and take me away. I won't go back or recommend it, there are better ones in the region.

Food was almost cold. I was simply charged €2 more. Calculating tips yourself is a bit cheeky. The table would be wiped with a smelly rag.

We got hungry after a trip to Alexander Platz and thought the place looked pretty inviting. We got there and right at the door the employee told us that everything inside was full and we could only sit outside when it was 14 degrees. That was definitely too cold for us. We then looked at their homepage and reserved a spot online and suddenly we were able to get in and a spot was found. It was really pleasant there, the table we were sitting at looked a little cheap, but the atmosphere around us was pleasant. The food was average, we were well satisfied, the price was a little high, but that's normal for a big city.

Food was okay, although they give you less portions than advitised on the menu, and you still pay the full price. Doesn't make sense. Service is good, could be cleaner. Seems quite both times I went. Will go back when I go Berlin again. Strudel is good

Nice place! Affordable prices, large menu, a lot of space. Almond cake is bombic! Staff if very friendly - my daughter had forgotten her headphones in the restaurant, and next day I got them back.

The waiter was super rude, the food was very little and was not a good match for the quality and also the price tag. My pineapple juice was watered down. And it took them so long to prepare the dish, even though it was clealry store bought -everything. Even the mushrooms were canned mushrooms. The pictures in the menu showed bigger portions. I paid 19,80€ for a snitzel with fries and a pineapple juice. But I was not full afterwards.... Excuse me what.

The food is very tasty, professional staff and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Our worst meal ever in a long time. We ordered a burger with fries, two schnitzel with fries and a Kötbullar pasta casserole. The burger meat was so dry that it crumbled, and the burger was served cold. The schnitzels tasted like dinosaur nuggets from the discount store. Homemade tastes different. And maybe we are wrong, but we are sure that the Köttbullar were ready-made meatballs. If this is not the case, the appearance, consistency and taste of the whole thing are definitely similar. And last but not least, our fries were so salty that they were inedible. Sad to say, but not even our drinks (just Coke and Spezi) tasted good as they were so diluted that we had to think twice about whether they were the drinks we ordered. It's a shame for the nice service and the nice ambience, unfortunately those were our only positive impressions of the evening.

We have been to Mio many times as a group of friends and it was always very nice, especially the ambience. However, unfortunately the service and quality of the food have deteriorated enormously in the last few months. The staff is very unfriendly (comes across as annoyed, as if no one is having fun at work), the portions are getting smaller and the salad was partly brown. The service staff had enormous difficulties in communicating and our drinks didn't come after several requests...we were there Group enjoyed this restaurant. It was our favorite place but unfortunately we won't be coming back for the time being. Really a shame 😕

Nice waiter, fast service, very extensive menu. And that's where the positive ends. Food came very quickly, as if it was already ready, it just didn't taste like anything. Not the schnitzel, not the fries, and not the pizza. The mozzarella wasn't even warm, nor were the tomatoes. Drinks are crazy expensive, 20cl of coke for 3.50. In short, it filled the stomach, but it was not tasty. Not worth repeating.

We were there spontaneously for the Festival of Lights. We got a nice spot outside. The waiters came quickly and were nice. We had cocktails with and without alcohol and a Mickey Mouse ice cream. The price was ok and the taste was very good. It was a nice atmosphere that day at that time 😃 Will definitely come back!!!

we were very disappointed yesterday. There were three of us, we paid a lot of money and didn't even get full. Pasta that only covered the bottom of the plate for €13 was pretty cheeky. My salad for €13 tasted like nothing, the ready-made one from Aldi tastes better☝🏽 the chicken with the salad was fried to death. the nachos and the cocktails were good. But the best part was the excuse after we told the waiter everything. Too few staff for so many people, it sounds totally logical that the food was so little🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ The last time we were there was 3 years ago and so we knew different portions, I also felt as if there was a different owner back then. Strangely enough, there was no waiter who even looked through, everyone was running around wildly, we were asked several times where to put the dishes 🤷🏾‍♀️. But well, after the criticism we weren't taken seriously, that's why it was the last time we were there. I'm not a fan of fast food chains, but even there it tasted better!!

A crazy tourist spot. Our waiter spoke little German and could hardly place the order. The furnishings are stylish, but uncomfortable and partly defective; my chair had a side tilt of 20 percent. The food is convenience.

Service arrived at our table incorrectly twice. Too little on the big plate and quite expensive. Good atmosphere ceiling with nice lighting, despite reservation, a table in the corner with broken chairs, the backrests are falling off.

We came to dinner with 5 people on Friday evening. The outside area looks appealing at first glance - upon closer inspection, the furniture and plants are very worn and everything is dirty. The cutlery provided was also not clean. We ordered 2 different white wines, but couldn't taste any difference. The red wine we ordered only came after we asked twice. We waited 60 minutes for the food, but then the starter and main courses came together. The pizzas were good, tasty base and also well topped, the salads were also good, the pasta was cold and tasteless. Communicating with the service staff was sometimes difficult because they didn't understand German. The staff were friendly but inattentive.

If you have weekend plans in Berlin or during the week, then definitely don't plan this place: loud music that you can hardly have a conversation if the music was at least music, waited over an hour for food, I had the currywurst pizza, but somehow in contrast to the picture in the menu without currywurst, one more positive thing, the salad as a starter was quite good, but it only came with the main course after an hour

Transferring guests after they have already been seated seems to be a common practice at this restaurant. The two of us came to enjoy two drinks during happy hour. However, when we got the bill, both drinks were at regular price. After we pointed out that we had ordered both drinks during happy hour, the waiter tried to explain to us that while the first round was charged at happy hour prices, the second round was not. That didn't make sense since both drinks were full price on the bill. With visible displeasure, the waiter finally corrected the prices. By the way, when the shift manager heard our conversation about the incorrect prices, he pointedly turned around and disappeared as quickly as possible. An overall disappointing experience.

The restaurant itself is quite nice, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The food we ordered was delicious and the price-performance ratio was also quite pleasant. However, I was served bad applesauce with the pancakes and when I told the waitress, nothing was really done about it. After having to ask for the drinks menu twice, we got it. However, no one came to us after that to take the order. So we paid.

Let me start out by saying we never complain about our restaurant experiences; we only write compliments when it is deserved. Tonight was worse; service was terrible and the food was even worse. We stopped for a beer and something small; we decided on nachos, I know, seriously nachos in Germany? Well the picture in the menu looked amazing; we got it and it had a very sparse cover of cheese, was cold and had a separate container of cold cheddar. We ate 1/3, it was just that bad; I have had better at any ballpark in America. When the waiter finally came, I told him it was terrible and compared the menu picture with the actual plate, he shook his head and said, American? Really?? I would have done the same thing in America, it would have been terrible there too.

First it took 20 minutes to be served, then we order two cocktails in the happy hours.. (7€ happy hours) then when I trie to pay the guay type on the screen 18€ and ai said that it suppose to be 14€ and he said the computers said 18.. i said change it manually man.. he started takling in germen so I said ok charge, then he ask you wanna tip 1€ .. its ok I tip, then he put 20€ in the TPV.. man! I told him those are 2 instead of one… I left the two euros and tell get and buy some new trouser man with my money… NEVER GOING THERE

We are very disappointed. The portions are getting smaller and smaller. In addition, the employee (black hair, wore a braid on October 6th, 2024 around 10 p.m.) was totally unfriendly, only on her cell phone, didn't feel like doing her job. We won't be back nor do we recommend it to anyone. It's a shame for the prices, at least you shouldn't go after the food.

We are here at MIO very often, and I can only say that everything here is really, really good! If you are looking for a relaxed, beautiful and delicious restaurant/cocktail bar right on Alexanderplatz under the TV tower, then you have come to the right place! The food and cocktails are great, and there is a huge selection where you can't decide, the competitors can take a beating, and the conditions are very accommodating and read your wishes from your lips! And you don't have to wait long for your things, and the price is absolutely great! The ambience is amazing (especially the chandeliers on the ceiling). Clear 5* for the MIO Berlin!

Unfortunately our food never arrived! I’d have raised it, but nobody came back to ask us. So after an hour, I paid for the drinks and we left. Waitress didn’t apologise. The manager did when we mentioned it as we left. Shame. Menu looked good!

From the outside you could almost expect a nice atmosphere and good service. You might expect it, but don't worry, as soon as you get in you'll be convinced otherwise. For the holiday, it was shown here that during breakfast you can also watch the restaurant's lighting being repaired using a loudly clattering ladder and a table. In addition to the changing light, you could then “enjoy” breakfast. In addition to few rolls and the smell of burning cables in the ceiling, which then operated the inappropriate lighting, you could drink your cold latte macchiato. I really don't like giving negative reviews, but I just had to do this so that others wouldn't have the same disappointment. (I kept it brief)

Good place, food ok, terrible service. We had the misfortune to have the same waiter on two occasions, he identified himself as Kurdish, and from the first moment he was not polite, unprepared to serve, showed impatience and was very rude. When paying, he threw the card machine on the table when we asked to pay separately, person by person. He began speaking rudely in a Middle Eastern language and refused to comply with our request. Terrible service and unpleasant experience. Avoid!

We were in this restaurant as a large group to actually eat Italian food. But after part of our order arrived after the first hour, we were very disappointed. Some of us had ordered our burger without jalapeno, but got it with it - and cold on top of that. And even after the food ended up in the kitchen the second time, the orders were still wrong. The "starters" came with the main course and the food itself only came after two hours of waiting and a lot of back and forth. Unfortunately, things weren't any different with the drinks either. The food itself was also a disaster (taste-wise, temperature, portion size!!!) so I eat much better in my little bistro that we have in the city, I'm full and I didn't pay a fortune for it. The service was completely disorganized and overwhelmed. But I find it even more reprehensible that this restaurant has received so many bad reviews, but it feels like absolutely nothing has been changed/improved. It's a shame, because the location and the ambience itself would be great. We definitely won't be coming back.

Caesar salad only consisted of two halved tomatoes and Chinese cabbage as far as the fresh produce was concerned.

It doesn't even deserve one star. They take the order and lose it and rather than ask you to wait two hours and serve others who arrived long after you. Grumpy staff and seeing that we are Italian they wanted to cheat us. I don't recommend it to anyone.

We got a table straight away and after ordering we didn't wait long for our food, even though the restaurant was very busy.

I actually don't like to give negative reviews to restaurants because I worked in the catering industry myself and know how hard the job is. Here, however: the fries for each of us (4 people) were absolutely unsalted, for one person they were cold and really not crispy. The burgers were okay, but didn't look as "big and special" as in the pictures. The waitress was only interested in “quick, quick” and quickly ran off to bring drinks before I could say that we knew what we wanted to eat. They also didn't know the name of any of the burgers that were on the menu, which caused confusion on our part. However, requests were taken into account. The cocktails were delicious.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon entering, I used the QR code available at THE ENTRANCE to access the online menu, where the prices for the dishes were listed. I placed my order based on those prices, but when it came time to pay, I was shocked to see that the prices were higher on the bill. When I called the manager to clarify, I was told that there was a new (physical) menu with updated prices, which I hadn’t been informed about. Even though I explained that I ordered according to the online menu, I was forced to pay the “new” price. The manager even said that I had to “accept” this change. In short, there are two sets of prices: a lower one at the entrance to lure customers in, and a higher one when it’s time to pay. This is unacceptable! Not only did they disrespect the customer, but they also refused to acknowledge their mistake and resolve the situation fairly. It was a terrible experience, and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Not recommended, the meat was dry and the garlic butter baguette was old from the day before. Waiting a long time for food and reordering a drink is zero. Price performance ratio not good.

The outside area and the furniture looked very worn and dingy, which we only really noticed when we sat down at the table. I ordered a burger and received an almost cold, microwaved rag of meat and dry burger bun with a slice of melted cheese that was anything but melted. The hard part was the raw bacon with lots of white bacon that looked like it had just been taken out of the package. The food was taken back, but I also had to give up the second attempt because the panty was still raw inside.

Service was OK. After no tip was given, it was no longer so friendly. The outside area is a bit run down. There is also the risk that bird droppings will regularly end up on your food. The interior looks beautiful. The toilets are a bit dirty.

Unfortunately there appear to be no guests in this restaurant to be welcome. After we waited 10 minutes and at least 4 service staff walked past us, even though there was no service whatsoever, we went into the restaurant interior and made ourselves noticed. The drinks menu, even though we wanted something to eat, was literally thrown on the table. That was ultimately the reason why we got up and left. We have never experienced anything like this before.

Very large, modern restaurant with a nice ambience. Perfect for large celebrations. The cocktails are huge and really good too. Both the nachos and the Wiener Schnitzel were very good Cool spot on Alex

Very nice service, great food, very good prices! The music was a bit soporific, luckily we were sitting directly under a speaker, so the volume compensated for it ;-) Were there for breakfast - really recommended!!!

Nice location under the Fernsehturm in Berlin. Very extensive menu from breakfast to dinner and drinks. Very extensive drinks menu and dessert menu. The food is fine for a restaurant with so many tables. When I'm in Berlin again, I will definitely eat here again.

Everything we had was fresh and delicious!

We had dinner there yesterday. The wait staff were nice, but there were too many with different tasks instead of focusing. They can be polite and friendly. However, we had to adjust our diet slightly due to gluten and fructose intolerances. This obviously didn't work and later we weren't feeling well. Since I would like to save others from having to write my review here. For everyone else it can definitely be a good option-

The fruit plate was half moldy, some on the inside and some on the outside, the pineapple was very dry and some things were unripe For a 4 star restaurant a very, very poor performance.
