Unfortunately not recommended!! Veal schnitzel consisted only of breading & when you had a little meat it tasted rancid (it was bad). Never again !!

We stopped in for a cocktail and actually wanted to eat something, but it was so crowded and therefore so loud that we just had a cocktail.

At the entrance the waitress said that they had white mulled wine. We ordered it straight away and got drinks about 15 minutes later. Instead of 2 red and 1 white, all 3 got red, where the waitress said there wasn't white, but didn't ask what we would like. We sat at the broken table with our burger where the bun and meat were burnt. In the end I ordered 1 shot of B52, but it came half empty and when we said she could bring it back straight away because I didn't want to drink it, the waitress said "a lot of people and problems". After dinner we went for a smoke and when we came back our things were gone and where our table was they had made up the coat rack. You can come back for drinks but not for food unfortunately.

We had reserved a table, but it was not reserved! The starter came after the main course. Reorders for drinks only came after the second request and the food was lukewarm at best…

I was very disappointed with my visit to Mio. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. However, some things need to be repaired, many things are broken. This is not a pretty sight, especially in the bathroom and in the direction of the guests' line of sight. Some of the menus are already broken. This is more or less the emblematic figurehead of the restaurant. I also see a lot of need for training when it comes to cooking/preparing the food on the plates. This has little to do with good cooking. I think after a make over and a well-invested cook, I'll be back.

Waited over 20 minutes for a cocktail - the food came in between. The cheese just ran past the 'nachos'... it was a very dry and cheese-free affair for the most part. At some point the cocktail finally came...It tasted pretty good The rest of the table had burgers and schnitzel - something else was delicious. The meat was very tough and gristly. The schnitzel group was the luckiest in terms of food. However, the beer was also very watery and lacked carbonation.

A few weeks ago I pointed out a discrepancy in the opening times on the website via a question in gMaps. Unfortunately, this has not changed to date, meaning customers are still confused.

Well thought out concept but still room for improvement! Food = OK for the price Service = More than enough on site but not organized and untrained leads to unnecessary waiting times. Location=very nice! Ambience=fever dream Conclusion = You have to like it then you can have a good evening

We were there as a group for the Christmas party and had a lot of fun. The service was super nice. The food was delicious (but the spaghetti carbonara was a bit plain). The cocktails were good and had almost a whole fruit salad as decoration.

We had visited Berlin for the Christmas markets and we're unsure where to eat. A great gentleman spoke to us outside and showed us a menu. Got seated inside and were served a liter of beer. Who doesn't love that. We loved it so much we went back the next day and same gentleman gave us a big hug and remembered us from previous day. The customer service alone would make me give 5 stars

Terrific! Great value for money! Quality of the food was great. Service was very, very friendly (special thanks to Barish!!!!). The Lagd is also great, right under the television tower and not far from the Red Town Hall, where one of the most beautiful Christmas markets I've ever seen takes place. All in all - a clear recommendation!

Horrible! Avoid this place at all cost! Over priced and like warm food. Tomato soup with whipped cream on top! What the hell is the chef thinking. Massive lack of experience from staff and cocktails crap!

Keep going here every trip í come to berlin. Great to jump in for a drink, simple eats or similar. Always great attentive (and fun) service. Went to the sunday brunch today and it did not disappoint! The egg and crepe station to order was to die for!

Burger was sticky, fries were cold when they arrived. Spaghetti Carbonara wasn't bad, but it tasted like the wrong cheese. Schnitzel was dry and actually wasn't much better with a little ketchup. Totally ripping off tourists!!!

We ate and drank together in this atmosphere today, it took about 15 minutes to be served with drinks... Really sad. I ordered spaghetti Bolognese, it was a bit dry, the price was moderate. "The restaurant as a whole appears to be upscale from the menu (champagne for 1099,-), but if you take a closer look, the shop seems to be in need of renovation Impression (broken windows etc…) The waiter apologized for the chaos, but didn't make things any better. Maybe he could see our disappointment...

It was our first time at this restaurant and although it was very busy, the food and drinks were served very quickly. The boss is an incredibly valuable person. Always keeps an eye on his customers, helps with clearing and wiping tables. The food was the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant. I'm actually still a little speechless and overwhelmed. We'll be back! Thank you for so much humanity.

This was our second time here, although the first visit was 8 years ago. It was very well attended and many people probably had their Christmas party here. Unfortunately, the years have not passed this restaurant by. What really struck me negatively were the sanitary facilities, but the seating also looked a bit shabby. Still, the place has charm. Most of the dishes were good, unfortunately the steak was not enjoyable, but a replacement was offered immediately. We noticed all the employees in a positive way and do a really great job. Very friendly and open.

The Central Café near the TV Tower in Berlin is a great place with an incredible atmosphere. I didn’t try the food, but the cocktails are absolutely amazing! 💫⭐️ Huge glasses, juicy fruits, and impressive presentation. The taste is top!! 10+ If you want to enjoy not only the taste but also the atmosphere, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Flashy ambience but if you like it... there is a big gap between the photo on the map and reality. “Minestrone” and “Schnitzel” (deep-fried, not fried) from the freezer. Purchased potatoes pre-made. Fast cuisine at reasonable top location restaurant prices. Definitely not a repeat on my part and not recommended.

Music is way too loud that you can't have a conversation and there are advertisements on YouTube. I had a simple salad, but with a taste of earth and olives that didn't really taste like olives. In general, the selection for vegetarians/vegans was very limited. The service was also semi. Our table wobbled extremely and the waiter said he would take care of it in 2 minutes. Well, I'm still waiting until today.

We arrived early in the evening on November 21st, 2024 with little expectations. If I had known that our expectations would be exceeded. We would have walked out backwards straight away. We had an Italian cappuccino and a vanilla brownie latte. Yes, well, that was okay. Food order was as follows. Pizza salami Falafel with hummus Gnocchi Gorgonzola Pizza salami I have no idea since when it became common practice that there doesn't have to be a trace of salt in the dough. Hardly any toppings, hardly any sauce. If it wasn't for the salami, it would have been completely tasteless. Falafel with hummus Falafel, under-fried, over-fried almost black but still cold inside, partially frozen inside. Hummus ready from the pack from Transgourmet. The whole thing was “arranged” on the plate in an incredibly careless way. Gnocchi Gorgonzola Not enough here either, there were maybe 6 spoons of gnocchi on it. Half a cherry tomato and a little baby spinach. The only good thing was the gorgonzola sauce. There was also no attempt to ask if we would like to order drinks again. I'm sorry, but it was a complete disappointment. And put more effort and love into cooking. That was the lowest level. Best regards from two restaurateurs 👨🏻‍🍳👩🏻‍🍳

Ambiance was more like a club. Service was normal but not outstanding either. Food was not as shown in the pictures in the menu (not even close). Of course you can argue about whether the food has to correspond to the pictures, but BBQ sauce doesn't have to taste like jam. Furthermore, the mayo should not be brought until you have already eaten. Another point would be the selection of ketchup, which you should reconsider; you should NOT serve KETCHUP WITH Gherkins flavor. Afterwards, a proper greeting went out to the sewage treatment plants. I hope my review is helpful.

So I don't know where to start... it's definitely not a nice Italian! My pasta was cold, unseasoned and the highlight, now it comes... there was a very long hair under my pasta 🤨 is that supposed to be the case? My friend had the so-called currywurst, it was unfried, cold and looked very unappetizing. I am completely disappointed! 😤😡🤬 but the waiter was really hot that's why there's a pity star

Lots of food at a high price, they changed what I wanted without asking and when you complain they don't give you a solution, apart from that for the extra €7 change they charge you, like many comments, REAL SCAMMERS NEVER GO

Breakfast doesn't look anywhere near what it looks like on the internet and in the menu. According to the description of the sweet breakfast: croissant, pancakes, Nutella and jam. A croissant and pancakes covered in chocolate sauce were brought. Fruit was moldy or not ripe Too much was charged Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't great either. It was cold + a bird was flying around the whole time (INDOOR!!)

I recently ordered cake, one chocolate and one cheese It tastes anything but homemade, just like a ready-made cake that has been warmed up. The chocolate cake was also just a light cake with small pieces of chocolate, that should perhaps be added. It was burnt I requested a refund and didn't receive it. I will never order from here again, I absolutely cannot recommend it and especially for such a price

Went to Venus in Berlin and just wanted to have something to drink and eat in the evening when we came across you at the television tower. We were very happy with everything we ordered and will definitely come back.

We received a warm welcome and were quickly escorted to a beautiful table. We were then able to place our order in a very short time. The drinks were served after a few minutes and in an extremely friendly manner! The food was excellent! But what is really remarkable is the attention and friendliness towards all guests. We felt very comfortable. Thank you for the lovely time. The restaurant is highly recommended!

When I think of bad customer service in Berlin, Mio Berlin immediately comes to mind. It's an Italian restaurant in a prime spot, right under the Berlin TV Tower. With such a central location and stylish decor, you'd expect a great dining experience, but unfortunately, the reality was very different. From the start, things went downhill. There was no one to greet us or show us to a table, so we wandered around awkwardly before seating ourselves. When I asked for recommendations, it was clear the server was more interested in upselling the priciest items than in understanding our preferences. When the food arrived, the disappointment continued. The bruschetta, for instance, came with soggy, flavorless tomatoes that were completely unappealing. But the worst part of the evening happened when my friend noticed her drink tasted different from her previous visit. Instead of fixing it, the server shockingly told her to get up, walk over to the bar, and ask the bartender to make it the way she wanted. We were both baffled by this response. To make matters worse, as she approached the bar, she nearly slipped on a puddle of water that had been left unattended, with no reaction from the staff. They seemed completely indifferent to both the mess and our experience. Overall, the whole visit felt chaotic and unprofessional, and the dismissive attitude of the staff left a lasting impression—for all the wrong reasons. This is one dining experience I won’t be forgetting anytime soon, though not in a good way.

Very bad, food completely different from what was presented, flavor to be desired, high value for quality. The dry waiters, I hadn't even finished eating, already turned off the air conditioning next to me, brought the bill without asking, all they had to do was pick me up and take me away. I won't go back or recommend it, there are better ones in the region.

Extremely bad, horrible taste, extremely low quality, plus they brought the bill to our table without us asking, as if they wanted us to leave quickly, since “unfortunately” we ordered a lot of things to eat, we should have tried something first to see how the quality was low

Food was almost cold. I was simply charged €2 more. Calculating tips yourself is a bit cheeky. The table would be wiped with a smelly rag.

We got hungry after a trip to Alexander Platz and thought the place looked pretty inviting. We got there and right at the door the employee told us that everything inside was full and we could only sit outside when it was 14 degrees. That was definitely too cold for us. We then looked at their homepage and reserved a spot online and suddenly we were able to get in and a spot was found. It was really pleasant there, the table we were sitting at looked a little cheap, but the atmosphere around us was pleasant. The food was average, we were well satisfied, the price was a little high, but that's normal for a big city.

Nice place! Affordable prices, large menu, a lot of space. Almond cake is bombic! Staff if very friendly - my daughter had forgotten her headphones in the restaurant, and next day I got them back.

The waiter was super rude, the food was very little and was not a good match for the quality and also the price tag. My pineapple juice was watered down. And it took them so long to prepare the dish, even though it was clealry store bought -everything. Even the mushrooms were canned mushrooms. The pictures in the menu showed bigger portions. I paid 19,80€ for a snitzel with fries and a pineapple juice. But I was not full afterwards.... Excuse me what.

Great location, ok service, been a few times and no complaints. Have to flag down a waiter when anything is needed but each time they respond quick enough. Food and drinks are reasonably priced given the location

The food is very tasty, professional staff and a very pleasant atmosphere.

Our worst meal ever in a long time. We ordered a burger with fries, two schnitzel with fries and a Kötbullar pasta casserole. The burger meat was so dry that it crumbled, and the burger was served cold. The schnitzels tasted like dinosaur nuggets from the discount store. Homemade tastes different. And maybe we are wrong, but we are sure that the Köttbullar were ready-made meatballs. If this is not the case, the appearance, consistency and taste of the whole thing are definitely similar. And last but not least, our fries were so salty that they were inedible. Sad to say, but not even our drinks (just Coke and Spezi) tasted good as they were so diluted that we had to think twice about whether they were the drinks we ordered. It's a shame for the nice service and the nice ambience, unfortunately those were our only positive impressions of the evening.

We have been to Mio many times as a group of friends and it was always very nice, especially the ambience. However, unfortunately the service and quality of the food have deteriorated enormously in the last few months. The staff is very unfriendly (comes across as annoyed, as if no one is having fun at work), the portions are getting smaller and the salad was partly brown. The service staff had enormous difficulties in communicating and our drinks didn't come after several requests...we were there Group enjoyed this restaurant. It was our favorite place but unfortunately we won't be coming back for the time being. Really a shame 😕

Nice waiter, fast service, very extensive menu. And that's where the positive ends. Food came very quickly, as if it was already ready, it just didn't taste like anything. Not the schnitzel, not the fries, and not the pizza. The mozzarella wasn't even warm, nor were the tomatoes. Drinks are crazy expensive, 20cl of coke for 3.50. In short, it filled the stomach, but it was not tasty. Not worth repeating.

We were there spontaneously for the Festival of Lights. We got a nice spot outside. The waiters came quickly and were nice. We had cocktails with and without alcohol and a Mickey Mouse ice cream. The price was ok and the taste was very good. It was a nice atmosphere that day at that time 😃 Will definitely come back!!!

A crazy tourist spot. Our waiter spoke little German and could hardly place the order. The furnishings are stylish, but uncomfortable and partly defective; my chair had a side tilt of 20 percent. The food is convenience.

Service arrived at our table incorrectly twice. Too little on the big plate and quite expensive. Good atmosphere ceiling with nice lighting, despite reservation, a table in the corner with broken chairs, the backrests are falling off.

we were very disappointed yesterday. There were three of us, we paid a lot of money and didn't even get full. Pasta that only covered the bottom of the plate for €13 was pretty cheeky. My salad for €13 tasted like nothing, the ready-made one from Aldi tastes better☝🏽 the chicken with the salad was fried to death. the nachos and the cocktails were good. But the best part was the excuse after we told the waiter everything. Too few staff for so many people, it sounds totally logical that the food was so little🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ The last time we were there was 3 years ago and so we knew different portions, I also felt as if there was a different owner back then. Strangely enough, there was no waiter who even looked through, everyone was running around wildly, we were asked several times where to put the dishes 🤷🏾‍♀️. But well, after the criticism we weren't taken seriously, that's why it was the last time we were there. I'm not a fan of fast food chains, but even there it tasted better!!

We came to dinner with 5 people on Friday evening. The outside area looks appealing at first glance - upon closer inspection, the furniture and plants are very worn and everything is dirty. The cutlery provided was also not clean. We ordered 2 different white wines, but couldn't taste any difference. The red wine we ordered only came after we asked twice. We waited 60 minutes for the food, but then the starter and main courses came together. The pizzas were good, tasty base and also well topped, the salads were also good, the pasta was cold and tasteless. Communicating with the service staff was sometimes difficult because they didn't understand German. The staff were friendly but inattentive.

If you have weekend plans in Berlin or during the week, then definitely don't plan this place: loud music that you can hardly have a conversation if the music was at least music, waited over an hour for food, I had the currywurst pizza, but somehow in contrast to the picture in the menu without currywurst, one more positive thing, the salad as a starter was quite good, but it only came with the main course after an hour

Transferring guests after they have already been seated seems to be a common practice at this restaurant. The two of us came to enjoy two drinks during happy hour. However, when we got the bill, both drinks were at regular price. After we pointed out that we had ordered both drinks during happy hour, the waiter tried to explain to us that while the first round was charged at happy hour prices, the second round was not. That didn't make sense since both drinks were full price on the bill. With visible displeasure, the waiter finally corrected the prices. By the way, when the shift manager heard our conversation about the incorrect prices, he pointedly turned around and disappeared as quickly as possible. An overall disappointing experience.

The restaurant itself is quite nice, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The food we ordered was delicious and the price-performance ratio was also quite pleasant. However, I was served bad applesauce with the pancakes and when I told the waitress, nothing was really done about it. After having to ask for the drinks menu twice, we got it. However, no one came to us after that to take the order. So we paid.

First it took 20 minutes to be served, then we order two cocktails in the happy hours.. (7€ happy hours) then when I trie to pay the guay type on the screen 18€ and ai said that it suppose to be 14€ and he said the computers said 18.. i said change it manually man.. he started takling in germen so I said ok charge, then he ask you wanna tip 1€ .. its ok I tip, then he put 20€ in the TPV.. man! I told him those are 2 instead of one… I left the two euros and tell get and buy some new trouser man with my money… NEVER GOING THERE

Let me start out by saying we never complain about our restaurant experiences; we only write compliments when it is deserved. Tonight was worse; service was terrible and the food was even worse. We stopped for a beer and something small; we decided on nachos, I know, seriously nachos in Germany? Well the picture in the menu looked amazing; we got it and it had a very sparse cover of cheese, was cold and had a separate container of cold cheddar. We ate 1/3, it was just that bad; I have had better at any ballpark in America. When the waiter finally came, I told him it was terrible and compared the menu picture with the actual plate, he shook his head and said, American? Really?? I would have done the same thing in America, it would have been terrible there too.

We are very disappointed. The portions are getting smaller and smaller. In addition, the employee (black hair, wore a braid on October 6th, 2024 around 10 p.m.) was totally unfriendly, only on her cell phone, didn't feel like doing her job. We won't be back nor do we recommend it to anyone. It's a shame for the prices, at least you shouldn't go after the food.

Nice restaurant, food fine but not special. Service worthless. No attention for the customer, food and drinks are simply placed there without any contact. Don't come and answer. Go after everything yourself. Just leave dessert and go.
