There were 7 of us at il Mondo to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately the service was not very present. There was another quite larger group that clearly received preferential treatment. That didn't leave a good impression. Given the price of the dishes and drinks, as a guest you should definitely feel like you are being paid attention to and not constantly ask about the service. The food was very tasty. Some of the dishes were quite overpriced compared to their size. So next time we will go somewhere else.

I visited this restaurant on Saturday later afternoon. I took a pizza Margharita take away because they were fully booked. Service and waiter was really nice. Pizza was quickly done and was really delicious. Also nice price. I am glad I visited this restaurant. Thank you!

Excellent restaurant with Italian / Albanian staff and chef from Asiago who made us a remarkable lamb ragù. The duck leg and pork medallion are also excellent: typical Berlin dishes with an Italian flavour. Courteous service and comfortable environment. Prices aligned with quality and area.

We had arranged to meet for a family lunch and had a very pleasant time at Il Mondo. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. We were guests for the first time and could observe that many guests were greeted personally because they were regulars. That's a good sign and we'll be happy to come back.

Wir kennen das Restaurant seit mehr als 20 Jahren und ich war in den ersten Jahren mit meinen zahlreichen Geschäftspartnern hier zum Essen. Es waren immer alle sehr zufrieden. Jetzt war ich mit der Familie zu Besuch in Berlin und haben uns zum Geburtstag der Enkelin entschieden wieder einmal das Restaurant zu besuchen. Wir waren überrascht noch immer von dem gleichen Kellner bedient zu werden . Wir waren begeistert. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und der Service war hervorragend. Vielen Dank wir kommen wieder. W. I would like to take my hat out but that's not possible virtually. I was greeted by a waiter who saw me for the first time and was immediately mean. He made jokes about me and made me look totally stupid, it was great, great humor, I really liked it. The food was great, a parmesan wheel pasta with truffles on top amazed me so much that I had to grab it. What a taste experience, truly unique. Tiramisu and espresso were okay, definitely tasty but not earth-shattering like the pasta. Still great. The store deserves absolute cult status. 9.6/10!

I have had 3 negative experiences here. 1. I ordered Penne Al Arabiata to take away, they put another pasta in for me. 2. I was charged 5 euros more once. 3. Today I ate here, 30 minutes later I have a stomach ache and vomit. My trust was betrayed. Will never eat here again.

An all-round successful stay. You just have to bring some time. A reservation is recommended and travel, ideally without a car.

My favorite Italian in Berlin! Always a treat to be here. Family atmosphere. A clear recommendation, away from all tourist hotspots. Be sure to reserve for the weekend.

We always enjoy coming to eat. The staff is very friendly, the food is delicious and the prices are fair.

Very good cuisine, very good quality of food and friendly staff. I ate there several times, at lunchtime and in the evening. The grill plate for 2 people is particularly excellent - all types of meat are fresh and juicy, grilled to perfection. The prices are in the upper range, but are reasonable as the food is very good and of high quality and you dine in a nice atmosphere with friendly service. *Accessibility for wheelchair users: A mobile ramp is available for wheelchair users, which is very steep but allows access with the assistance of staff. There is no barrier-free toilet.

Already been there for the 3rd time. Excellent quality of the food. Nice ambience. However, I have rarely experienced such unfriendly and unmotivated service staff. There are much better things in the area. Never again!!

Dishes ordered were ok, drinks were a bit over the top, coke wasn't in the 0.4l portion bottle for €5??, asked for some ketchup with the pizza, it came in a small bowl, but was immediately charged €2, billing8 on the cell phone, correct on request Accounting

An Italian restaurant that has maintained a very high standard for years. Original Italian food that is second to none. The season menu is always exciting and delicious. The employees always make you feel comfortable, cared for and looked after. Sorry for the picture of the starter, but the antipasti were too tasty and were eaten quickly. Good menu with changing weekly menu. Price-performance ratio is quite good, although some dishes are a bit overpriced. Staff friendly and attentive. Cozy interior, covered outdoor area. It is better to make reservations on Fridays, weekends and public holidays.

Spontaneous visit on our last evening in Berlin. We still got a place on the terrace, although a reservation definitely makes sense, even in the middle of the week). The store was full, but everything seemed calm and serene. The service was super friendly and attentive. Pizza, pasta and antpasti plates tasted very good. Great go on.

We are here regularly. A great Italian restaurant! The employees are great, always in a good mood, with a quick saying on their lips and very child-friendly. The dishes are top and there is always a special seasonal menu. The restaurant is clean and friendly.

We had a fantastic lunch here yesterday. The waiter was lovely, my dog was happy to cool off in the shade on the terrace, and the food arrived quickly. The pizzas were really delicious. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at an exceptional restaurant and I absolutely loved the experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a warm and inviting ambience. The stylish furnishings, the tasteful decoration and the relaxed atmosphere make you immediately feel at home. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive right from the start. The service was impeccable - every request was met immediately and the waiters were always present without being intrusive. What was particularly impressive was the warm and professional manner of the entire team, who always had a smile on their faces and made sure that nothing was missing. The food was simply sensational. The menu offered a wonderful selection of dishes that included both classic and innovative creations. Every dish we ordered was superbly prepared and beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, and the flavors harmonized perfectly with each other. A particular highlight was the main course I chose – a traditional spaghetti carbonara. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente and the sauce was to die for: creamy, rich and with just the right amount of pancetta and Pecorino Romano. Every bite was a delight and it was obvious that the chef knows his art and cooks with passion. The dessert selection was also impressive. We tried the homemade tiramisu - it was a heavenly end to a wonderful meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The combination of first class service, fantastic food and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for any occasion. We went there for dinner after a long day of sightseeing... quite spontaneously. We didn't have to wait long for a table. They were all very nice and attentive. The food was great. Always my pleasure.

Nice Italian restaurant in a great location, the starter platter was great, the main courses were good, but they lacked the finishing touch. The waiters were very nice and accommodating, but they could have been a bit more attentive when it came to drink orders.

Nice restaurant with a terrace. Very friendly reception and generally extremely nice & fast service. The food is good, but nothing special compared to other restaurants, so at least a little creativity wouldn't hurt. Prices are ok. Since the service deserves 6 stars, it still deserves a close 5* overall.

It's certainly not the cheapest Italian place. But definitely the best in Lichtenberg. And probably beyond that too. The food is always very good. And the employees are always friendly, always with a casual saying on their lips, sometimes a little cheeky as befits Berlin. You just feel really good!

We were there for a birthday party, fast attentive waiter. Unfortunately, several orders were served incorrectly or a dish was completely forgotten. Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't completely cooked through on the grill plate.

Our regular Italian in Berlin, we go to Il Mondo almost every time we visit the capital... delicious food and friendly, funny service!

Very friendly service. You can tell that the staff enjoy working here. We stayed here 3 times in a row because of the proximity to the hotel. Every time the food was excellent.

An additional star is missing when it comes to service - Italian flair paired with humor, great. The starter plate with Parma ham, melon, cheese, tuna tartare was a poem. Popular because it is near Franfurter Allee. 💯

....ich kann die vielen positiven Bewertungen mit 5 Sternen nicht bestätigen...das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier absolut nicht... außerdem war mein Fleisch leicht angebrannt, der Lachs trocken gebraten....was ich bestätigen kann, ist die Freundlichkeit der Bedienung, jedoch schon bei der Lieferung der Getränke herrschte ein kleines Chaos, was die Zuordnung der Getränke zu den Gästen und die Anzahl der Gläser und Karaffen betraf...

So friendly and accommodating the waiters and great food and dessert. Be sure to try hot figs with ice cream! Parking available outside on the street. Clean spacious toilets and wheelchair accessible. We recommend! It's better to reserve at the weekend.

Despite full tables, nice request to wait. A table then became available. We really liked the atmosphere. Our delicious meal was accompanied by a very good wine recommendation. We felt very comfortable and will come back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

The food at the restaurant tasted really good and was high quality. However, the online menu and physical menu are different and certain dishes are not served in the restaurant (my girlfriend experienced this issue) so be careful when looking at the online menu as they might not have the item you want! The restaurant had a nice cosy atmosphere however it does get quite busy and cleanliness was not an issue at all. It is also very affordable, with most mains costing between €10-15. If you’re in the area and fancy some authentic Italian cuisine, I would definitely recommend!
