A culinary gem hidden behind the ice cream parlor facade!! Anyone expecting just ice cream here is missing out! Andrea has transformed the ice cream parlor into a phenomenal Italian restaurant. There's no set menu! Instead, you'll receive passionate advice on what has been created from the freshest ingredients of the day. The food is a true taste sensation. Even dishes I would never normally order were perfectly prepared and so delicious. The wine recommendations are just as first-class as the warm, customer-oriented service. There are daily specials instead of a standard menu. In addition, there are fantastic Italian evenings with live music and special menus, for example, for New Year's Eve (reservations are a must!). It was a wonderful evening for our whole family, including the children! You feel like you're visiting friends. Thank you so much! Mio is an absolute insider tip for food lovers!

The price-performance ratio isn't that great. €9 for spaghetti ice cream with fresh fruit. The picture on the menu doesn't even match what you get. A few token fresh berries on top, the rest from a can. I was disappointed.

The price-performance ratio is poor. I arrived at the ice cream parlor in the early afternoon and found that none of the sundaes could be made because they were out of ingredients. Their response was, "We can offer you a simple spaghetti ice cream..."

Strawberry spaghetti ice cream for €9. The ice cream tastes good but is a bit too expensive in my opinion. Unfortunately, the ice cream was already very soft when it came to the table.

Mio is not just an ice cream parlor....is it? Thanks to Andrea and the whole team, an absolute asset to Walheim! No matter what we order, it is always delicious and very creative. There is no such thing as impossible in Mio... everything that is possible is made possible. We really enjoy going there and feel very comfortable and are happy that we meet familiar faces there... or meet new people.

Mio Gelato has now become a meeting place in Walheim. Very friendly owners, great selection of drinks, food and ice cream. When the temperatures are warm, the courtyard behind the ice cream cafe is tempting. But you can also sit well inside.

A visit to this ice cream parlor is a must, no customer will be disappointed here. A visit that's worth it.

Best Icecream around Aachen, also large selection of Icecream bowls with frech fruits and waffels

Leider bin ich vom Eis ziemlich enttäuscht. In einem italienischen Eiscafé erwarte ich andere Qualität. Jede Sorte ist sehr süß und viele schmecken sogar ähnlich aber haben nicht den Geschmack den man erwartet. Das Eis ist sehr weich und schmilzt dementsprechend schnell weg.

Bestes Eis der Stadt, meine ich

Die Kugel aktuell €1,50 und eine große Kugel €2,00. Preise sind in Bereich zu früher gestiegen, aber die müssen auch mit der Inflation zurechtkommen. Die große Kugel würde ich nicht probieren. Drei normale Kugel sind mehr als genug. Das Eis ist aber sehr lecker und besser als beim Vorgänger. Aber das Eis in Kornelimünsterb ist noch besser und billiger
