The dishes are delicious and varied. Delicious inn food and more are served here. The atmosphere is great but unfortunately a bit too loud for me in the evening. You can hardly have a conversation. Gladly again 👍🏼

We were pretty disappointed with the food. My schnitzel was so flat that it resembled the sole of a shoe with breading. My sauce didn't taste good at all and the fries were too salty. Now all that's left is a stale Afri-Cola and the evening is over. My partner had an attempt at a schnitzel that was very tough and he almost failed when trying to cut it. After the evening, our clothes stung like they did after a long stay in a snack bar. My answer to the question of whether it was tasty was accepted.

Visit this restaurant often. It is located directly on the Vennvahn and is therefore more of an excursion destination. Ambiance and service are very good. Drinks selection plentiful and reasonably priced. The food is also delicious, but not comparable to a pure restaurant. The only really negative thing is the acoustics: even with relatively few guests it is very loud and conversation becomes more difficult

I was very dissatisfied with the price-performance ratio: loveless, poorly prepared dish for around 17 euros. Our clothes and hair smelled terrible of grease when we got home. After airing the clothes on the balcony for 24 hours, the smell was still so strong that we couldn't wear the clothes.

Absolutely bad! If you don't want salmonella, you shouldn't eat there. This is not a restaurant, but a matter for the health department.

Stopped at the train station vision again. The highlight was the ice cream stand. I have rarely enjoyed such delicious ice cream.

The restaurant itself has a beautiful terrace. However, I would only have a drink here. The food didn't convince me at all. Pizza and schnitzel seem to be frozen goods, the sauces are very watery. Absolute recommendation for a beer! No recommendation for food.

Here again after 8 years. Very tasty food with a delicious, freshly tapped beer and friendly service.

Right from the start we regularly come alone, in a group with or without a dog. Otherwise we were always greeted nicely and served. We were always praised for how well-behaved the dogs were in the group. But what we had to listen to today is more than damaging to business. When asked nicely if we were allowed to come in with all dogs (we could have just walked through as usual) We had to listen to people saying that they were wiping and that it wasn't okay with the "wet mutts". Sorry, but that didn't work at all. Firstly, all the dogs were dry and secondly, we don't have any mutts. Since almost all of us wanted to eat, you easily lost a good 200 to 300 euros today. Apart from the fact that now more than 10 people, along with all the friends we tell about this, will no longer be coming.

When it comes to food and service, I can't see any effort towards customer satisfaction.

Overall, solid 3 stars with a slight upward trend. Directly on the bike path, the restaurant is a convenient and convenient place to stop. The food is simply put together and high in calories. Since a lot of things were obviously well prepared, they could be served after a minimal wait. I found the staff to be not very friendly and not very approachable. This is where most points are lost. The two points for service are trending downwards. Nevertheless, regardless of its weaknesses, the shop is a recommended address for cyclists. Convenient location, enough capacity, large portion, quick processing. If you're looking for exactly that, you've come to the right place.

Super nice restaurant on Vennbahnweg, there are plenty of parking spaces and next time I'll eat something too, it looked really good. I was there on a public holiday where it was relatively busy so making a reservation makes sense on a public holiday. All in all it was a successful evening

Extremely good schnitzels, but otherwise the food is rather upper middle class. The beer is highly recommended and the service is always friendly and reasonably quick. Everything is a bit more expensive, but after two Tegernseers it's manageable.

Delicious food, nice and relatively quick staff, nice atmosphere. It would be nice if you didn't have to pay extra to pay by card.

I used to go there often. Sitting outside in summer is really nice. Now I was inside and just had a latte macchiato. It was tasty but overall the whole thing somehow lost its charm. An average pub with a lot of passing customers from the vennbahnweg... Of course I can't judge what the food is like now Update April 2024: I had dinner there today. I was a bit skeptical because there aren't just good reviews. But I was pleasantly surprised. From the daily menu I ordered roast ham with asparagus and potatoes and a small cucumber salad as a side dish. The food was very tasty. The price is quite high for this location but it's okay. Due to its size and open design, it is naturally very loud. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

A cute restaurant in the style of an old railway station and railway motif with interesting details in a beautiful and pleasant location, pleasant atmosphere and very friendly and fast staff and quality service! Pet friendly. I would especially praise the many options for parking vehicles around! But, the menu is weak and incomprehensible, an inappropriate menu for an old German railway station with a terrible Italian theme, those two things definitely do not fit!!! The dishes were nothing special, nothing worth admiring or remembering, even more so prepared without effort and will I would say!!!! I would recommend the restaurant because of the location, atmosphere and friendly staff, but the food is nothing special, I would even say below average, but it's not bad to not recommend. For true gourmets and connoisseurs of quality food, there is no satisfaction here, but for a classic German who enjoys the spectacle of gastronomy, pommes, sausage and medium steak with a little ketchup and mayonnaise are highly recommended 🤓🤓🤓! The prices of the classics, considering everything, could be more favorable because we pay less in the center of Aachen in top locations. Kudos to the quality and friendly staff, I hope they have a fair reward for their work and smile 🤓! 🤓🤓🤓

What a nice place, very tasty food, also for vegetarians and the atmosphere there is great. We had a great time with 10 people (3 generations) and our grandson would like to celebrate his 62nd birthday there too. That would be in 55 years. Many thanks to the great team in service, kitchen and in general. But we will come back before then!

Class! The highlight for my son was the train that runs along the top.

Nice decor with station attributes, moving train above your head, very clear drinks and menu by train lines image. As for the spinach soup, I recognize a review about maggi flavor, but I liked it.

Mediocre snack food at a restaurant price. The steak was good, the quality was okay, the white wine sauce with onions and mushrooms was slightly oversalted and lacked mushrooms and onions, the wish to get potatoes instead of fries ended in a double booking of fries AND potatoes. The grilled vegetables with fried potatoes should have been called fried potatoes with grilled vegetables, since 75% of the plate consisted of fried potatoes, 15% of grilled vegetables and 10% of salad decorations. The grilled vegetables were frozen and fried for far too long and served as an unsightly brown-colored mush next to an obscene mountain of fried potatoes. The salami pizza was tasty and fair in terms of price-performance ratio, the children's schnitzel with fries was generous and would have been enough for a small adult. The service was very inattentive throughout, questions about whether everything was OK, let alone when clearing away two full plates the question of whether it was tasty or what was wrong with the food was also not asked. However, when it came to payment everything was quick, no goodbye, no “have a nice day”, card and goodbye. So we come to the price, 4 soft drinks, a children's meal, a steak, a pizza, an untouched grilled vegetable with fried potatoes for €83.70. Everyone is welcome to form their own opinion, but there is no relationship between price and performance. I am thoroughly disappointed, especially with the service, and I would not recommend a visit, but rather a visit to El Patcho in Aachen, for example, good modern cuisine at the same price and, above all, good service and interest in the customer. I don't want to rate the ambience, the sentence that the service matches the ambience is enough in my opinion.

My friend mentioned this restaurant was built from an old train station. This place has delicious German food, nice staff service and family vibe.

We would never have discovered this by car: right on the Vennbahn cycle path. Very nice staff, great concept and a really great location. Gladly again.

We were with you last weekend for the first time in 2024. The service is friendly, drinks and food are delicious. From the weekly menu I had the XL schnitzel with paprika sauce and very tasty fries. What you also need to know: It is a large room, which means it is rather cool in winter and when filled it is rather loud. Another little tip, if tea is ordered, honey or sugar would be very nice and also check for empty drinks in between :) Many greetings to Knolle

Schöner M7c aus klassischen Gerichten und fantasievollen Eigenkreationen in einem alten stilgerecht eingerichteten Bahnhofsgebäude.

Leider sind Boden, Wand und Deckenoberflächen hart und glatt, dadurch wird der Hintergrundgeräuschpegel sehr laut. Ansonsten ist dies ein super Lokal.

Das ist ein Restaurant wo man immer wieder hingehen kann ( muss 👍) Es passt alles ineinander dafür gibt es 5 Sterne auch für die Einrichtung. Jetzt das aber: Tut euch und den Gästen einen gefallen geht von diesen Fertigsossen weg. Ich hatte diese Rahmsosse mit grünem Pfeffer, tut mir leid ging gar nicht. Da bin ich überzeugt das ihr das besser könnt und auch ändern werdet. Grüße macht ansonsten weiter so.

Eine typische „Bahnhof-Atmosphäre“. Essen sehr lecker, coole Auswahl zu angemessenen Preisen. Der Service sehr freundlich und achtsam. Ein toller Abend, herzlichen Dank dafür.

Essen Ok, äußerst fettig. Pommes nur durchschnittlich. Wir sind extra rein gegangen mit Kleinkind und Baby. Der Zigarettenqualm von draußen zog leider massiv durch die permanent offene Tür in den Innenraum, wir saßen nicht mal in der Nähe der Tür. Die Tür musste laut Aussage des Personals leider geöffnet bleiben. Die Gesundheit der Gäste schien uns von nachrangiger Bedeutung zu sein. Die Kinder-Hochstühle stehen direkt neben der offenen Tür.

Qualität des Services, wie auch die Speisen stark schwankend

Nachdem das Essen zwischenzeitlich echt nicht gut war hat sich das um 180 Grad geändert. Das Essen ist wieder ganz hervorragend. Egal ob Schnitzel oder Salat. Alles sehr lecker. Besonders klasse ist die Tageskarte mit den Spezial-Schnitzel-Saucen (bspw. Johannisbeer, Meerrettich oder Senf). Der Service zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

Heute noch einmal in der BV. Ambiente, schön draußen in der Sonne. Aber der ehemals super Salat, Streckenwächter war echt übel und liegt schwer im Magen. Schade, sehr enttäuscht ...

Haben ein paar schöne Stunden dort verbracht. Gut gegessen und wurden sehr freundlich bedient.

Schönes Ausflugslokal in und um einen alten Bahnhof. Wirtin sehr nett und aufmerksam. Personal sehr freundlich. Essen war gut. Grauburgunder Wein für 4,95 € (findet man leider nur noch selten.)

Das Essen war super lecker! Der Sauerbraten ist gerade zu zerfallen im Mund! Wartzeit.. wir waren überrascht wie schnell das Essen fertig war! Hier komme ich gern noch einmal her!

Un lloc agradable per anar amb nens, família o amics. Es tracta de l'antic edifici del poble transformat amb restaurant. Els nens poden jugar a fora.

Ich bin super gern in "der Bahn"... auch nur für n Bierchen nach Feierabend. Einziges Manko ist die Lautstärke wenn es voll besetzt ist. Da müssten Schallbrecher an die Decke oÄ.

Ich hatte einen Ceasar Salat, der super lecker war. Mit ganz viel Hühnchen und köstlicher Sauce. Unser Hund war auch willkommen und hat brav unterm Tisch gelegen. Natürlich kommen wir bald wieder!

Gute ausgefallene Küche. Nicht günstig aber Preis/Leistung ok. Wir kennen die Lokalitäten seit etlichen Jahren und gehen immer wieder gerne hin. Die Bedienung ist meist freundlich und auf Zack.

Wer Essen mag,was mega Maggi oder Knorr behaftet ist und keine Ansprüche hat, kann dort hin gehen. Ich finde es eine unglaublich, soetwas seinen Gästen zu servieren! Ich habe noch niemals so extrem schlecht gegessen. Salatsauce wurde mit Essig und Zucker gemacht. Ich hatte Spaghetti mit Schweinegeschnetzeltem und mein Mann Schnitzel mit Fritten und Paprikasahnesauce. Die Saucen waren extrem Grenzwertig und habe nach Maggi oder ägnliches schon so gerochen. Der Kellner kam mit Sauerbraten aus der Küche als wir gingen & auch hier kam mir so der Maggigeruch entgegen.... Fazit: Sehr schade,es war mal eine tolle Location mit sehr gutem Essen und ist nun extrem Runtergewirtschaftet !!!! Zum Service -> nett,aber dabei bleibt es dann auch

Diese Essen sieht sehr schön und lecker. Stühle ist etwa neu und alt. Der alte Stuhl ist wackelig. Im WC ist nicht besonders gut.

Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Ideal als aus Ausflugsziel

Die Currywurst war klasse und trotz wenige Personal und vielen Gästen waren Getränke und Essen schnell am Platz. P. S.: Als Restaurant am Vennbahnradweg sollte man über bessere Fahrradständer nachdenken. Die Vorhandenen sind Speichenkiller.

Einfach nur Klasse, schönes Restaurant direkt an der Alten Bahntrasse Vennbahn, die jetzt ein Radweg ist, im Gebäude des alten Bahnhof. Großer Biergarten, Schön gestaltete Speisenkarte, sehr freundliches Personal. Und wer nach dem Essen noch Lust auf ein Eis hat, bekommt dies direkt vom Eiswagen am Biergarten.

Alles Bahnhof. Nettes Ambiente mit unmengen Zeugs aus der Vennbahnzeit. Bahnhofshalle, aber gemütlich. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis angemessen. Alle waren mit ihrem Essen - Salat, Sahnehering, Schnitzel - recht zufrieden. Haute cuisine erwartet man auch nicht. Bedienung angenehm und nicht aufdringlich. Gerne wieder. Im Sommer im Biergarten! Heute mal wieder da gewesen. Es gab Spargel! Herrlich lecker! Und als Nachtisch Molleux au Chocolat. Mit einer Kugel Vanilleeis. Alles einwandfrei.
