Sehr sehr schicker laden, wo man gut sitzen kann und das Essen lecker ist

Ach die gute gemütliche unkonventionelle Bahnhofsvision :-)......ausserge-wöhnliche Gerichte zu Preisen , die man sich leisten kann , ich hatte Rote Beete Taler ,sehr gut !!! Die Schlichtheit macht es gemütlich , der Biergarten ohne Schnickschnack bestens!!!! Für Familien sehr geeignet, aber auch als Paar oder einfach im Grüppchen für ein Bierchen !!!!

Immer wieder gerne. Immer nette Bedienung. Preis Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Super nettes Ausflugsziel oder als Zwischenstation. Personal ist aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisen und Getränke zu angemessen Preisen. Ich würde wieder kommen, war aber nur zur Durchreise.

Wir machten hier auf unserer Vennbahn-Etappe einen Zwischenstopp für einen Drink. Später aßen wir dann auch noch etwas: Currywurst Spezial. Das Restaurant ist mit allerlei historischen Eisenbahngegenständen dekoriert. Ein wirklich schönes Lokal!

Tolle Lage und schön zum draußen sitzen. Leider die vegetarischen Gerichte sehr langweilig. Darauf sehr deutlich nicht ausgelegt.

Es ist immer wieder schön in der Bahnhofsvision was zu essen. Der Lärmpegel ist manchmal ziemlich hoch, wenn es sehr voll ist. Schade ist auch, dass es wenig vegane Gerichte gibt. Auch auf der Wochenkarte ist meist nichts rein pflanzliches dabei.

Nettes Personal. Obwohl es sehr voll war , total freundlich. Essen war sehr lecker. Das Ambiente , eben echt Bahnhof.

Ist bestimmt eine geile Bar aber leider waren die Kellner ein wenig unmotiviert. Haben Kaffee ohne Zucker gebracht und sind etwas grob auf unsere Plätze zugewiesen worden. War bestimmt nur der Stress. Ansonsten geiles Gebäude

Das Essen war sehr lecker, besonders die Currywurst mit Röstzwiebeln. Der große Pluspunkt ist der schöne Biergarten direkt am Fahrradweg ideal für eine Pause bei einer Fahrradtour. Innen ist das Ambiente eher schlicht, dafür sitzt man draußen bei gutem Wetter umso angenehmer. Freundlicher Service, faire Preise und insgesamt ein Besuch, den ich gerne weiterempfehle.

Einer eurer Kellner hat meiner Freundin auf dem Damenklo aufgelauert und sie komisch angemacht. Bisschen übergriffig meiner Meinung nach.

Ein schöner Ort zum Verweilen. Sehr nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Was will man mehr.

Hier gibt es leckere Schnitzel, Currywurst, Pizza und Pommes in toller Bahnhofsatmosphäre. Kinder können sich hier frei bewegen und auch Mal etwas lauter sein. Sehr schön auch die Außengastronomie direkt am Vennbahnweg mit Eiswagen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne in die Bahnhofsvision.

Wir waren heute ganz spontan dort essen. Die Location ist echt schön und cool und auch der Service und das Essen waren sehr gut. Sehr freundliche aufmerksame Bedienung und das Essen sehr lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert und wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder.

Ambiente mit dem Stil eines Bahnhofs ist eine nette Idee. Leider ist auch die Lautstärke wie auf einem Bahnhof. Man konnte sich kaum unterhalten. Das Essen hat geschmeckt, war aber nichts Besonderes. Der Service hat leider auf sich warten lassen. Wir wurden lange nach der 1. Runde ignoriert und mussten uns deutlich bemerkbar machen. Wer vllt zwischendurch beim Wandern auf ein Getränk vorbeischauen möchte, für den ist der Ort bestimmt geeignet. Für mich persönlich muss es nicht noch einmal sein.

Leider sehr laut wenn es voll ist, halt eine Bahnhofshalle. Essen war ok.

Fantastisches Steak. Etwas kniepig mit den Beilagen. Einen Salat müsse man sich dazu bestellen bei einem schon hochpreisigen Gericht. Solide Bedienung aber ohne besondere Freundlichkeit oder Elan. Wirkt etwas abgearbeitet.

Wie immer alles lecker und das Personal immer freundlich. Immer wieder gerne.

Excellent restaurant! Unique and welcoming atmosphere. The food is very good, especially the beetroot gnocchi and the sweet potato dish. I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, large, and uniquely decorated space with a railway station history. An original menu offering good value for money, including four draft beers. Very friendly and efficient staff.

I visited for the first time today. A lovely and cozy restaurant, unique in the region, in my opinion. The team was incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the menu was delicious (unfortunately, I didn't have time to eat). The prices weren't exactly cheap, but I suppose that's necessary these days to stay competitive… I'll definitely be back!

We were there on a bike trip and only had drinks. Very nice atmosphere and always something going on. A great place for a day trip.

Since we were there with several people and paid individually, even though everything was written down on our napkins, the bill was completely inaccurate! This was our last time there.

Simple but delicious cuisine. It's the meeting place in Münsterland and an indispensable institution.

Unfortunately, I don't like going there anymore. The service from the older blonde lady is very unpleasant and not at all friendly. And unfortunately, I keep getting served by her.

We were here for the first time today, recommended by a friend. We were absolutely thrilled, even though the weather was poor, it won't be the last time we're here.

A lovely place to stop during a bike ride along the Vennbahn. The food and ice cream are delicious.

At the old train station in Kornelimünster, it was busy and felt like a train station... we had something to eat and something to drink. Both were good and plentiful. The Eifeler Landbier tasted wonderful...

We come here regularly after our bike rides and always feel completely at home. The seating is lovely in the shade, the service is attentive and friendly, the food is delicious and served quickly. There are also dishes suitable for children. Especially on hot days, we appreciate the cold drinks and the relaxed atmosphere. A truly lovely place to stop for a drink – we'll definitely be back after our next ride!

Great location, perfect for a bike tour. The quality of the food is perfectly fine. If you want to go out for dinner, the quality could be better. They should also find a way to slow down the bicycle traffic, which runs directly through the restaurant. The biggest downside for us was the service (referring exclusively to the waiter in the hat). We found the service to be very unfriendly, and he was constantly annoyed by children and loudly vocal. It's not acceptable for us at all...

After a short bike ride along the Vennbahnweg, this is the perfect place to stop and refuel. It offers both outdoor and indoor seating. The food is delicious, and they serve refreshing drinks. Highly recommended.

We were there as a group, this time with over 40 people. Everything went as usual: fast and friendly service. But unfortunately, my food selection this time left a lot to be desired. I eat this salad very regularly when I visit. But what I was served last Tuesday, dear BV, was simply unacceptable! I was annoyed the whole time that I didn't say anything on site. So here it is. If you can't deliver the usual quality, then just say sorry, the track attendant salad is unfortunately sold out. We can live with that! But serving reheated, usually tough chicken, and not even in the usual quantity, is unfortunately unacceptable. And I hope this was a one-off from your kitchen. Photos attached.

The Bahnhofsvision in Aachen Kornelimünster is a cult place; this restaurant has been around for so long... hearty food, hearty drinks, hearty ambience, a fantastic owner with a fantastic team who know how to spoil us guests in a delicious way without any fuss... here you can get really delicious food and good beer at affordable prices... A recommendation for young and old, with children and grandchildren... simply good...

Great location on the Vennbahn, delicious food, competent service, and a good service concept. One star deducted because there are no dishes explicitly labeled as vegan on the menu.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We went there for dinner with a group, and the dishes we ordered not only looked delicious, but they were. The service was friendly and quick.

Coffee was tasty, but strangely no Kuche whatsoever. And while many cyclists pass by every day who are in for something sweet...

We would have liked to eat something there, but unfortunately we were ignored by everyone we spoke to. People preferred to clear the tables even though the big rush was over. After almost 40 minutes we left without it 😔

We are always in the train station vision. The atmosphere has restaurant charm in a positive sense, the food is very tasty and the portions are large. I also find the service to be extremely quick and always very friendly. Overall, an absolute recommendation, whether by car or as a break for a quick snack on Vennbahnweg.

When I'm in Aachen, I can't miss a visit to the Bahnhofsvision. The food is always delicious, special requests are taken into account and the portions are large enough. The price-performance ratio is very good. During my visits the waiters were always very friendly and attentive. In summer, many cyclists and inline skaters use the beer garden (the "Vennbahnradweg" leads past the restaurant) for a stopover, as it can get crowded. The entire atmosphere is relaxed and sociable, which I find very nice. I'll definitely be back! Update April 19, 2025 We were with a group of 8 people. in the restaurant and EVERYONE was absolutely thrilled. We really enjoyed the sauerbraten and absolutely recommend it. 👍🏼

Great location - we always enjoy coming here - especially in summer with our bikes for refreshment. Unfortunately the food wasn't very good today. Schnitzels were very thin and not fully fried - not crispy at all, seemed more like they had been warmed up - were soft and rather greasy. Service is good and quick!

Service with poor facial expressions and flat, careless serving. Expensive steak almost raw, fried potatoes subpar, currywurst barely seen the frying pan, Bernaise from a tetra pack, rubbery chocolate cakes... lots of reasons not to come back. It's a shame, it was much better...in the past

The Bahnhofsvision impresses with delicious, home-style food and a varied weekly menu that also includes more unusual dishes. The service is fast, friendly and always attentive, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. The selection of drinks leaves nothing to be desired and rounds off the culinary experience perfectly. The only small disadvantage is the volume, which can be a bit high depending on the crowds. Overall, a great restaurant for connoisseurs who value quality and good service!

Actually a good address for an extraordinary flair. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't having a good day. The currywurst was missing everything. Not very warm and no toasted crust. Probably thrown into the deep fryer quickly. Because of the haste we accepted it. I hope it remains an isolated case. Otherwise, we'd love to come there. The service is OK. A magnet for cyclists and hikers on the Eifelsteig in summer

Nice atmosphere in the old train station, great beer garden in summer. The quality of the food has now deteriorated somewhat, the fries were soggy on the inside and the currywurst was lukewarm on the inside. And that on a working day when there was little going on.

Simple, delicious dishes in a rustic (train station) atmosphere.

First of all, the positive. Good food, good service and great ambience. You could recommend the restaurant for that. But I can't go unmentioned about what happened to me. On the one hand, it bothered me that I only saw the bill after I had paid. Just came back from a long stay in France and Spain, I never experienced anything like that. Then when there was a part on the invoice that we had ordered but wasn't delivered, I mentioned it and was approached very aggressively. I didn't even want back what I paid too much for. Instead of apologizing, I was basically portrayed as a jerk. That's why I can't recommend it. Too bad food was good.

The dishes are delicious and varied. Delicious inn food and more are served here. The atmosphere is great but unfortunately a bit too loud for me in the evening. You can hardly have a conversation. Gladly again 👍🏼

We were pretty disappointed with the food. My schnitzel was so flat that it resembled the sole of a shoe with breading. My sauce didn't taste good at all and the fries were too salty. Now all that's left is a stale Afri-Cola and the evening is over. My partner had an attempt at a schnitzel that was very tough and he almost failed when trying to cut it. After the evening, our clothes stung like they did after a long stay in a snack bar. My answer to the question of whether it was tasty was accepted.

Visit this restaurant often. It is located directly on the Vennvahn and is therefore more of an excursion destination. Ambiance and service are very good. Drinks selection plentiful and reasonably priced. The food is also delicious, but not comparable to a pure restaurant. The only really negative thing is the acoustics: even with relatively few guests it is very loud and conversation becomes more difficult

I was very dissatisfied with the price-performance ratio: loveless, poorly prepared dish for around 17 euros. Our clothes and hair smelled terrible of grease when we got home. After airing the clothes on the balcony for 24 hours, the smell was still so strong that we couldn't wear the clothes.

The restaurant itself has a beautiful terrace. However, I would only have a drink here. The food didn't convince me at all. Pizza and schnitzel seem to be frozen goods, the sauces are very watery. Absolute recommendation for a beer! No recommendation for food.
