Mina Restaurant in Berlin

Yesterday was very tasty!!! I have never eaten something so delicious in all of Berlin! Clean, cozy!!! I will definitely come back!!!

The food and atmosphere are great, but the head server is by far, and I‘m from the food & beverage industry, the worst server I have ever encountered. He was clearing a table next to ours, when my mother said „Entschuldigung?“ No answer. „Entschuldigung?“ and then he wipes/waves his hand through the air without looking at her which was a clear sign of „I am cleaning, leave me alone!“ which by itself is just absurd and probably the most impolite gesture I have ever seen in a food & beverage establishment, but if that wasn’t enough, he then turns around to my mother once he was finished cleaning and says „Sie müssen warten!“ and that of course in the rudest voice you could imagine. The entire restaurant was appalled by his behavior and everything became quiet before I started getting into an argument with him stating the obvious. But the most incredible part of this is, that instead of apologizing for his actions after I called him out on it, he ended up defending his actions, saying he thought what he did was perfectly normal. Again, this is by far, the worst attitude and behavior in service I have ever received.

Check other Negative Reviews Before Visiting This Restaurant! I want to share a disappointing experience we had at this restaurant, hoping it will help others make an informed decision. My girlfriend and I were frequent customers—we’ve been here around ten times over the past year. We always left at least €5 tips each visit. Unfortunately, today’s incident changed everything. We arrived around 5 PM on December 30, and no one greeted us at the entrance because the waiter was busy with other customers. We decided to take a seat at an open table ourselves. Just seconds later, when the waiter became available, he started yelling at us across the room, loudly and rudely demanding we come to him. He even shouted things like, "What do you think you're doing here?" in front of everyone. When I asked him what the problem was, he rudely said, "This is not your home where you can just walk in and sit down. You need to tell us what you want." This was absurd—what else would we want in a restaurant but to eat? I tried to explain that his reaction was inappropriate, but he was so hostile and irrational that I decided it wasn’t worth escalating further. We left immediately. At first, we considered whether the waiter was just having a bad day, but upon checking other negative reviews, we found that this behavior was a recurring issue with him. It seems he is consistently rude to customers. In the end, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. After leaving, we found another Vietnamese restaurant nearby, and it turned out to be far better! Not only was the service friendly but the food was just as delicious and about 40% cheaper.

Very tasty food, nice atmosphere

We were at MiaCao in the run-up to Christmas and I have to say, everything was really nicely decorated and decorated (I love that kind of thing) and everything looked rather elegant, not like many Asian places with lots of plastic flowers etc. The selection was very large , as well as the plates. But somehow these big plates made a difference. The food was super fresh and looked appetizing and tasted great too, but I couldn't finish my portion. The drinks were also beautifully decorated (yes, I really like that too) and the toilets were ok for me too. Mega small and cramped, but really clean for a restaurant. A little hard to find and confusing with the sink but we managed. We were all thrilled with the price; we have rarely eaten so well and cheaply.

Beautiful restaurant, reservation would be advisable. The staff is very friendly but completely haphazard. There were three of us eating there and it took an eternity before we could even order drinks, other tables that were occupied after us were already getting their food. The selection of food and drinks is large. After ordering, it didn't take too long for the food to arrive. Everything was very tasty, the portions were large. Prices are okay. Will be happy to come back.

The food was very clean, the ingredients were fresh, and the taste was good. I especially liked the papaya salad. It's worth visiting again.

The employees are rude and literally ignore you! You don't feel welcome! But you can't say anything against the food! The waiters (with 1-2 exceptions) are just the problem!

So far we have had at least largely positive experiences with the restaurant. Today the restaurant was full and we had to wait a bit for a table that was just leaving. However, people stood in front of the table talking for a long time while it was already free. Meanwhile, we had to stand on our feet in the entrance area and were in the way of the waiters. That's why we walked through the group independently and sat down, even though the table hadn't been cleared yet. We were then told by a guest in the group that we should relax while we had to stand around and the group was happily chatting in front of the table (!!) instead of letting us sit down. To make matters worse, the waiter then complained to us with an evil look as to why we were sitting down, as it hadn't been cleared away yet. We replied nicely that it wasn't a problem and that we just wanted to sit down. The waiter then stopped in front of us, stared at us angrily and asked us to stand at the entrance again. Unfortunately, that was not only completely wrong, but also not at all what we were used to in terms of service from the restaurant with the previous name (Mina). If a guest misbehaves, this can happen - but if the waiter joins in, the fun is over for us and we won't be coming back.

Absolute highlight to eat here. The sushi is high quality and beautifully prepared. We also had curry and that was also convincing. Overall, a very good price-performance ratio. It's a shame we're not from Berlin, otherwise we would be here more often.

The food was good, came quickly and tasted good. The toilet was chaotic, I didn't go around with test sticks, but the chaos made it seem unclean. The tables are placed very close together, so that our neighbors listened to us with great interest and looked with us at the pictures that we showed each other after a long-awaited reunion. I guess you couldn't help it either. The table in the corner was uncomfortable because the accompanying sofa set was too low, it is very uncomfortable to eat in this position. Service was friendly.

The Tom Kha was quite tasty. For the main course I had tofu in peanut sauce. Unfortunately I didn't like the sauce that much this time. But I've been here several times and the other things I've eaten have always been good. Also very well priced

Huge portion of duck with peanut sauce. Delicious. Fresh vegetables under the duck, not an Asian mix from the freezer. Accompanied by a crisp salad, probably more Italian than Asian (rucula), but that doesn't make it any less tasty. Very good value for money. Nice tables outside on a quiet neighborhood street.

Since I often eat Asian food, I can particularly recommend this one and give it a good rating - the quality is very good and the large plates with normal portions also look appealing. I'd love to come back. Service was nice and everyone was on their toes. There is also a small Asian restaurant next door, the food looked good too. I had to decide and I'm happy. Maybe they belong together too. So enjoy it there too. Even shade and a breeze on this hot summer day.

A great Asian restaurant near Ku'damm! The food was great and very finely balanced. We had 5 chicken gyoza and 2 Vietnamese crispy spring rolls as starters, then the salmon and beef bowl. A festival for the taste buds! The portions are large enough and the prices are rather cheap.

It was very very tasty! The service was great and the ambience is amazing. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back again and again.

Very tasty food with really good service, unobtrusive and quick

I loved this restaurant, celebrated my birthday there with eleven people and was super satisfied, now in 2024 I was there again in March and unfortunately had to realize that it was a bit of a rip-off. The main course was served when I hadn't even finished the starter. There were two attempts to clear the plate, not only at our table but also at other tables. Air conditioning doesn't work, it's very stuffy, it'll take me a while before I get there again. It's a shame, but that's just how it is.

A cozy restaurant with lovingly prepared dishes. Rich, freshly prepared and simply delicious. Went there for the second time today and really enjoyed it. The shrimp appetizer is a hit. Gladly again.

I came for lunch, ordered sushi and soup, started eating sushi and saw stretching hair!! She called the waiter, to which a girl of oriental appearance said that the water was mine!!! Because it’s light 🤣, that is, they started attacking me as if I wanted to eat for free.. It’s just terrible

A Great atmosphere, a wide variety of dishes from different cuisines, starters that will leave you craving for more, a heart warming curry, fresh Nigiri and sushi rolls? Then congratulations, you have found the place you are looking for. I had a great experience in this restaurant from the moment I stepped my foot in. It has a very romantic atmosphere, has a comfortable sitting and the right decor. We got two virgin cocktails while waiting for our food. The miso salmon soup was warm and had a silky texture. The king fried prawns were out of this world. We got two special inside out rolls, and you can immediately tell that the quality of the fish is premium. We got two types of curries, one with duck and another with crispy chicken. They were both very tasty and are served along side vegetables and steamed rice in really big plates. After dining here, I left with a smile on my face with a satisfied full tummy. Looking forward to visit again!

Food was very tasty and the eye really had something to see. All dishes are superbly prepared. The service is very accommodating. It's always better to make a reservation because it's really difficult to get a spot spontaneously. I'm looking forward to the next visit.

A very, very nice restaurant with a great and cozy atmosphere. The sushi and Pho ga are also very tasty and freshly prepared. The owners of the restaurant are always friendly and very nice. The mochis are also a dream. We liked the crunchy roll best.

The food, the service and the ambience in the restaurant and outside is very, very good! I would come here again to eat at any time.

The food is good and is fantastically prepared, small drawback, the wine is very expensive for 0.1 liters. To call around € 6.00 is already very generous

The employee who turned us away because we didn't have a reservation was very unfriendly and arrogant. It was Tuesday and there were a few tables available.

A nice little restaurant, a table reservation is mandatory. At Mina there are various very tasty bowls, but also delicious sushi and “normal” warm dishes. Highly recommended for every now and then. What I particularly appreciate here is that it is a smaller restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. If the guests were to talk at a normal volume, it would be pleasantly quiet.

Had the mango salad and the red curry with duck. Both were delicious. The mango salad had more salad greens and less mango that I was expecting but it was very tasty. The red curry was really good.

Just celebrated my 50th birthday in this cosy and stylish restaurant. Everything was so well prepared, food was delicious, service and customer focus outstanding.

Ambiente krass, unnormal schön einfach wow. Das Essen leider sehr viel Salat, Jakobsmuschel waren einfach gekocht und mit Spieß rauf geklatscht (2stk) aufm Salat für 6,5€, warum auch immer es nicht kurz in der Pfanne geschwenkt wurde. Kokosmilch Suppe war sehr süß und kaum Gewürz. Die Bedienung war sehr nett aber konnten uns leider nicht wirklich verstehen, um auf uns ein zugehen. Kann man musst man aber für diese Preisklasse nicht

Superleckere Speisen wunderschön angerichtet von ganz liebenswertem Personal serviert. Hier ist alles für Auge und Gsumen bis ins Detail aufeinander abgestimmt. Egal welcher Geniesser du bist du findest was tolles.Das Ambiente ist bezaubernd und du solltest auf jeden Fall reservieren.

Ich war schon sehr oft hier und komme immer gerne wieder. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Essen ist sehr lecker 😋 😋 und die Portionen sind sehr groß . Lecker. Vorspeise (Jakobsmuschel) war nix, wurde ohne Nachfragen von der Rechnung gestrichen! Gerne wieder.

Wir waren dort zum ersten Mal und würden bei jedem weiteren Aufenthalt in Berlin dort wieder einkehren! Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und bekamen ohne Reservierung einen schönen Platz angeboten. Nach der Bestellung kamen fix die Vorspeisen- 1x Gyoza und 1x Sommerrollen; super lecker!!! Nach angemessener Zeit dann die Hauptspeisen ( habe vergessen, wie die heissen). Klasse angerichtet, super lecker und reichlich!! Wurden am 13.11. von 2 jungen Damen bedient, die total freundlich und fröhlich waren und ein bisschen "zaubern" können. GERNE UND IMMER WIEDER!!!

Wir waren am Montag Abend als Urlauber im nahegelegenen Hotel. Schon von außen sehr einladend.Eine sehr nette junge hat uns mit einem Lächeln begrüßt. Kurzer Smalltalk, dann ging es nach angemessener Zeit schon mit einer superleckeren Vorspeise los. Ebenso war das Hauptgericht vorzüglich. Bedienung super nett, Ambiente individuell und sauber. Tolle riesige Teller. Das allein macht schon Freude und Appetit. Immer wieder würden wir das Lokal aufsuchen. Weiter so. Unvergesslich!

Obwohl wir nicht reserviert hatten und es schon ziemlich ausgebucht war, wurden wir vom sehr netten Personal an einen Tisch gebracht. Das Essen ist Super und das Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Also am besten immer reservieren 😉

Das Essen in diesem Restaurant war wirklich lecker und hat meinen Geschmack getroffen. Allerdings waren wir enttäuscht, als wir feststellten dass für Leitungswasser eine Gebühr berechnet wird. Das ist nicht angemessen.

Endlich mal ein asiatisches Restaurant, daß auch nett eingerichtet ist und zum Verweilen einlädt!!! Essen sehr gut und riesige Portionen zu vernünftigen Preisen...Service engagiert und wie gesagt angenehmes Ambiente... ich komme wie👋👍

Wir waren hier zum Abendessen und es war wirklich ausgezeichnet. Es gibt einige vegane Gerichte auf der Karte. Unsere Bestellung kam superschnell. Sehr empfehlenswert und ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen 😊

Sehr schönes Restaurant mit eleganter Einrichtung, tollem Essen und Getränken (die hausgemachten Limos und Tees sind super) und wirklich klasse Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Essen sehr schön serviert, sehr edel. Die Bedienungen hätten etwas aufmerksamer sein können, aber waren alle dennoch sehr nett. Daher 5 Sterne, wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Hallo...ein kulinarischer Absturz...nach gutem Start. MiNa Suppe Wan Tan...wässrig und ohne Aroma. Barbecu-Saucen undefinierbar. Plätze wurden stundenlang (für wen?) freigehalten. Waren sehr enttäuscht!

Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet! Super leckeres Essen! Tolle Preise! Leider war hinter unserem bestellten Tisch letztes Mal ein Tisch mit ca 12 lauten Kindern ( ca 12 Jahre alt ) die sehr laut waren und am Tisch und im Lokal herumsprangen ! Eine Zumutung für andere Gäste in so einem schönen Restaurant! Die begleitenden Erwachsenen hat das nicht weiter gestört.. die waren noch stolz auf ihren Kindergeburtstag!!

Im Rahmen einer Dienstreise hat es mich in das Mina "verschlagen". Montags um 20.30 Uhr war ich da und das Restaurant war komplett voll. Hab gerade noch so einen Platz bekommen (und hier der einzige kleinere Minuspunkt - sehr eng tlw gestellt). Freundlich waren alle Mitarbeiter, trotz dem vielen Trubel. Als Vorspeise ne kleine Portion Sushi geholt - war klasse . Die Seafood Bowl jedoch ein Gedicht!! Der Fisch schon mal sehr gut , aber der Salat mit dieser mega Sauce.. Einfach richtig lecker! Kann ich nur empfehlen! Wenn ich das nächste Mal wieder in der Nähe bin, komm ich gerne wieder vorbei... Die Suppen hätte ich gerne auch noch probiert 😋☺️beim nächsten Mal! Preislich dazu absolut im grünen Bereich!

Fantastisches Essen, serviert in super großen Schüsseln. Gute Auswahl an Gerichten mit Ente/ Huhn, Sushi und bowls. Die selbst gemachten Eistees sind auch zu empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist sehr cool. Ein bisschen laut vielleicht und die Kellner haben schnell Bestellungen aufgenommen. Ich empfehle zu reservieren, wenn man mit mehr als 2 Personen kommt.

Sehr leckeres und schönes Restaurant! Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln. Der leckerste Lachs-Curry den ich je gegessen hab. Man ist traurig wenn das Essen zu Ende ist😂 Der Geschmack bleibt lange im Gaumen erhalten! Top! Preise Durchschnitt wie überall. Tolle Bedienung. Sehr schönes Restaurant mit netten Mitarbeitern und wirklich unglaublich leckerem Essen. Die Sommerrolle mit gebackenen Garnelen- ein Gedicht. Die Seafood Bowl mit Wildkräutern war super lecker und hat toll geschmeckt.
