Very satisfied, authentic Italian, like ambience, food and staff.

Unfriendly staff which made me leave quickly.

The food was good, but the portions were very small. Very loud. Hefty prices. 8 small pieces of melon with ham for €18.50! It was my first and last time there.

The food was okay. We had bruschetta, pizza parma, and spaghetti bolognese. The bruschetta was okay, but the bread was sliced too thickly and not toasted enough. The pizza was okay, with minimal toppings, and the spaghetti was good, but the amount could have been larger. VERY IMPORTANT: Payment is only accepted in Baht. No card payments.

The two of us were out on the Reeperbahn. And luckily, we found this little Italian restaurant with lots of fresh basil in the window. The punks from the neighborhood, only two of us to be exact, also came for takeaway food. And the food from the daily special was amazing, the service very good, 0.02 off for the outdoor tablecloth, but otherwise Italian warmth, super fresh food with enough space between the starter and main course... We'll never forget it. So, we'll order five everywhere, because there aren't six. I'd love to go there again on Sunday nights, if it weren't for the 800 km...

We came here by chance and spontaneously. But it was absolutely a hit. Great food. Wonderful and personal service. After a welcome from the kitchen, we had pizza and minestrone with bruschetta for our main course. Both were very, very delicious. The atmosphere was cozy and, compared to the parallel street, very quiet, and the guests were very pleasant.

Table reserved and confirmed for 6 people. The restaurant was full when we arrived, six of us were seated at a table for 4 people in the entrance area - a table would be freed up. The cards arrived 20 minutes later, drinks another 10 minutes later and food another 15 minutes later. Prices are high (0.25 liter water €3.50, 0.5 liter shandy €6.50), the atmosphere is dark, loud and narrow. Pizzas rather mediocre and pre-cut. Of course we didn't get a larger table. Disastrous attitude towards service and customer friendliness.

My partner and I were visiting Hamburg for a few days, we are from Liverpool, UK. We had a yearning for some pasta so googled for the nearest Italian restaurants and came across this place and due to the good reviews decided to give it go. When we entered the restaurant and asked for a table the waiter pointed to a table in the corner to which my partner started walking towards, then the waiter started shouting in German that it was reserved, we were then offered a table by the door, should have took that as a sign really 😏, but we were hungry so took a seat. The waiter then proceeded to talk about us in German to the kitchen staff, and also to what were obviously friends or regulars of the restaurant, how very rude and unprofessional of him!!! Did he think we wouldn’t notice I may not speak fluent German but understand some. Anyway we laughed it off and ordered pasta which was just ok, the chef seemed really nice to be fair, but our experience here was unpleasant probably because we were English I suspect. Everyone should be treated with courtesy and respect regardless of race or language. Should we return to Hamburg we would not visit again.

We went to the restaurant spontaneously. The food was very tasty and drinks too. The portions could have been larger. Service very good and quick. I would like other payment options to be introduced other than cash. We ended up being fooled and my husband had to go out to get cash. That was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise I can only recommend.

We had a delicious meal at Mimos Trattoria Italia. As new parents going out with a baby and our dog, it can be a challenge to find a nice place. The service here was top notch, very understanding and pleasant. The food was delicious!

Generally a good Italian with delicious pastas. Service friendly. BUT: Never order a bottle of wine based on a recommendation without asking further. The nasty surprise comes with the billing and unfortunately that's where things become dubious. Completely overpriced wine (€49 - the price is suddenly in a completely different league) is not listed on the bill but is booked under various drinks. That's when you know exactly that you've been ripped off. Unfortunately, it's a shame that the initially good impression has now suffered greatly. And since we're not tourists, we can't recommend Mimo's. In the end you have the feeling of having been dragged off with a puff shower.

**A little culinary experience report from Mimos Trattoria Italia on St. Pauli** Following a recommendation, we ended up at “Mimos” on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The opening times? A secret that only the internet could solve. 🕵️‍♂️ The waiter was as bizarre as his explanation: The dishes on the menu are like ready-made meals, while those on the special table are freshly prepared. The prices? A roller coaster ride! 🎢 The food itself was like a surprise egg – only without the surprise. In St. Pauli you can definitely find it cheaper on every corner. The only “highlight” was the bill: a handwritten note with fantasy prices and – oh wonder – the card payment system happened to be down. 💸 Our conclusion: The “Mimose” is only recommended when the rest of St. Pauli and all of Hamburg are closed. 🤷🏻‍♂️

We came as a group of 5 people... unfortunately everything outside was full. The boss came quickly, no problem, he brought out the table and chairs. The waiter who served us was friendly but totally confused... didn't write down the drinks and so we got 3 wrong ones... then we ordered food... we were really hungry and asked what was on the appetizer platter... He said he would make us something nice... for two people that everyone could pick. We ordered main courses straight away and again he didn't write anything down. We waited a good while... we had ordered some water in between and it didn't come at all... yes, and what can I say, suddenly it came with the main course... Forgot the starter plate, portions of different sizes from the special menu with homemade ones advertised Pasta came a child's handful of overpriced pasta. The same dish was delivered to the next table. It was a lot bigger... This restaurant would no longer be an option for us. Too bad.

The tables were not cleaned when we arrived. The server forgot several of our orders and the bill on numerous occasions. The dishes were very good but poor in quantity. So the prices are not justified.

Went here spontaneously after the restaurant was recommended during a neighborhood tour. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation and therefore had to wait a bit. Wasn't a problem for us. The service and host were super friendly and we received our food relatively quickly. First of all, a greeting from the kitchen. Tomato bread salad... very tasty 😋. The main course was consistently good (unfortunately I only have a picture of the greeting 😉). Absolute highlight and highly recommended => Pasta with truffles... a dream. Price level is a bit more expensive but still within reason. 2 small downsides... 1. Tomato salad was unfortunately not worth the money. A sliced ​​tomato for around €7 is a miss. 2. There were a lot of guests waiting and it was therefore very hectic in the restaurant... even after eating we had the feeling that we should leave because new guests were already waiting. Therefore in total 4*

I was just strolling through St. Pauli and suddenly found myself in front of this authentic trattoria. I wasn't disappointed. Not a mass-produced product, simply cooked with heart and that starts with the greeting from the kitchen... Don't have a hedgehog in your pocket, a lot is worth sharing, and friends of Italian cuisine.. It's cozy.. I'm looking in Hamburg no longer looking for a better Italian.

Absolute ripoff. Sweet-eyed "daughter of the house" convinces me to stay for homemade pasta. The plate was pure disappointment! 4 (!!) Cullungoris (similar in appearance and size to tortellini) for 22.-..! Good but maybe ok as a small appetizer...

The food is probably good, as is so often the case, but that didn't even happen. Reserved a month in advance for 8 people and 1.5 days in advance an automated cancellation is sent impersonally by email instead of sending a personal email or calling briefly. Service is zero and finding a replacement for 8 people at such short notice is difficult. The store will definitely never see me, which doesn't seem to matter to others.

Very, very tasty in a super nice atmosphere! The two of us ate there during our short trip to Hamburg because it was recommended to us by a St. Pauli district travel guide. The trattoria is lovingly furnished and very cozy. We ate starter, main course and dessert and were very happy with everything.
