Nice little place, unfortunately no service outside, prices borderline...

The prices are too high considering the average quality provided, especially for a self-service establishment.

The food is expensive, poorly prepared and heartlessly prepared!

My recommendation is apple strudel

Prices are way too high. Having to pay €80 for 2 main courses, 1 soup and 3 drinks is just way too much. The food was okay but nothing special. Here you just pay for the view of the lake.

We came here to eat ice cream. Prices are very high, ice cream sundaes are nothing special, they look bland, the quality of ice cream also tastes like very cheap ice cream, but it is sold very expensively. Orders had to be placed inside but were then brought to the outside table. Service was stressed but friendly. But it was also 33 degrees... The view is very beautiful and isolated from the rest of the lake.

No more breakfast as it only opens from 12:00 p.m. Yes, that's how it is today. Let's hope and wish that it won't just be a bistro anymore.

Such a nice place, actually.....Unfortunately the tables are not in good condition and the whole facility unfortunately looks unkempt and careless. Using tablecloths if the tables are so old or building new tables, perhaps made of wood and opening up more to a younger audience would be desirable. The view is of course wonderful. Self-service is a shame for a restaurant in this price range and the quality of the food was not appropriate for the pricing. If the lack of staff forces you to do that, that's one thing, but I think you should then develop a new concept, perhaps in the direction of system catering. The drink prices were really outrageous and the juices were just nectar or concentrate. Unfortunately, one had the feeling that the employees were overworked and not very motivated. All in all, we won't eat here again and think that's a shame, as it's a wonderful, traditional place that would probably run well again for 100 years with a modern and fresh approach. I wish the operators much success and hope that mine and the other reviews here contribute to a rethink.

The milk house is particularly impressive because of its location directly on the Weissen See and the beautiful view. Even when the weather is nice and on weekends, you can usually get a free table straight away or just have to wait a short time. The terrace is self-service and dogs are allowed.

A small star deduction for self-service, but that's complaining at a very high level. The food is very tasty and generously portioned so that you can easily fill up. The ambience at the lake is unbeatably beautiful. We will always be happy to stop by and enjoy the entire house, we promise. Very beautiful 😍 location on the historical Berlin lake ' Weißensee '. With warm food, salads, Softdrinks, cake and ice cream 🍨. The Terrace is open from eastern to october. Inside it's open also in winter. You order food upstairs, inside on the desk. The service people bring it to the table and later you pay it upstairs.

Beautiful lake, beautiful park, a very great atmosphere! A place to relax and linger! Is recommended!

Leider absolut überteuert. Ein! Rösti mit Gemüse und Sauce Hollandaise für 15.00 Euro. Alles sehr überschaubar. Wäre an sich kein Problem, wenn irgendwas daran selbstgemacht und/ oder frisch gewesen wäre.. Rhabarberschorle 6,20 , ein Stück Kuchen 5,50!! Und das alles mit Selbstbedienung und Sofortzahlung. Leider ein Reinfall…. Nicht nochmal.

The traditional excursion restaurant was very well attended, and all guests were able to sit outside under the large umbrellas. Self-service was the order of the day on the terrace, with the friendly waiters bringing the orders to the tables. We had ordered “Swedish ice cream sundaes” and were able to enjoy them after a short wait. All components were well portioned, the vanilla ice cream was of good quality and we were very satisfied. The view over the lake to the lido brought back memories. We are happy to recommend this restaurant.

It's a shame 15-20 years ago it was much better. You have to order food inside and get it yourself

Great location, right on the lake. The menu could be a little more extensive and the prices are higher. But the location is a strong argument.

It was our first time here with friends for breakfast and we were very impressed. Great ambience in the building from the 60s with a beautiful terrace and view of Lake Weissensee. Very nice service and enjoyed breakfast. The breakfast for 2 people is plentiful, tasty and highly recommended. We'd love to come back and try the dishes on the lunch menu.

Sitting on the terrace right by the lake here in summer when the weather is nice will always be nice. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly and the price/performance ratio doesn't match at all, it's simply too expensive. A chocolate ice cream sundae with three small scoops of industrial ice cream, some whipped cream and chocolate sauce for €9. An iced coffee of the same, lower quality for €6.50. The supposed boss reacted rather disinterestedly to a factual comment about this. Really a shame and disappointing...

I won't recommend it to anyone else. In 2024 there was no alternative to cow's milk, a no-go for me. A small mineral water for €3.50 doesn't work either. Service is something different for me.

Unfortunately, I have to be annoyed at this point. There were two of us on the terrace, the weather was good and the view was very pretty. The tables were a bit clumsy in the area, service outside is only sporadic, if necessary, basically self-service outside. That would be okay if the prices weren't so exorbitant. The beloved Swedish cup, carelessly prepared, cost around €9 and the iced coffee was only slightly cheaper. No ambience can be so beautiful that you can overlook this poor price/performance ratio. Beautiful idyllic atmosphere - the view of the lake is wonderful. Beer and wine (6 euros each) good. However, the food is completely overpriced and the quality is just about there (18.00 euros for double currywurst - dry, small portion of fries - mediocre). Still a great place, especially if you come here full.

Self-service is okay, but 1 latte €4.50 and 1 small piece of cake €5.50 is quite steep. The romantic view becomes relatively expensive, despite free parking on the street. However, the path is only accessible by stairs. But the elevator to the toilet is awesome in the basement.

EInmal quer durch Berlin zum Milchhäuschen. Erwartungen waren hoch, Entspannung mit Seeblick. Die Lage ist wirklich gut, der "Seeblick" entspannend, aber der Blick auf die Speisekarte schock sofort, lässt einen vermuten, am Hotspot der Schickeria im Zentrum hoher Pachtpreise zu sitzen. Ein Kuchen für 5,50€, Latte Macchiato für 5,20€, 0,5L Rhabarberschorle für 6,20€, 0,25L stilles Wasser für 4,00€ – da kommt nicht mal der Italiener in Charlottenburg mit. Und das alles mit Selbstbedienung. Ist Prenzlauer Berg so nah? Drei Stunden später waren wir zufällig im Café am Lietzensee. Was für ein Unterschied. Auch Selbstbedienung, aber alle Preise "im normalen Bereich". Und der Ausblick weit gigantischer und die Mieten sicher teurer. Also warum? Unmögliche Raffmentalität?

Ice cream not recommended! Right at the checkout you are told: “We don’t have any fresh fruit”. The ice cream sundae just tasted bad. It seems to be the cheapest Metro ice cream, stretched with fruit from glass and cans. We couldn't even finish it because it was just disgusting. An ice cream sundae cost 11 euros. Too expensive for the atmosphere, three normal scoops of ice cream in self-service for €10. Although a lot has been invested, for example an elevator with access to the toilet, it still looks like a snack bar and not like a restaurant.

The ambience is very nice but the prices are very expensive and outside on the terrace there is only self-service, which is really cheeky for the prices they charge there. I ordered 2 Aperol Spritz with my wife for 19.00 euros, which didn't even taste good There is no comparison when you order Aperol Spritz on Lake Garda, it tastes good and costs 5.00 euros and the ambience is even more awesome

The selection of ice cream sundaes is rather clear (it was tasty). The ambience was also disturbed by building materials stored on the terrace. You would certainly have found a place that was less eye-catching. In any case, it no longer has the charm of “before”.

The restaurant has been rather too expensive for some time now. But the view is beautiful. However, now there is self-service on the terrace. This means you can buy the €26 main course (which wasn't even available yet) at the checkout and walk down the stairs with the drinks and food. I am at a loss for words. The audience is often not that young anymore, so you can wait for someone to tumble down the stairs.

It's an old GDR shop by a lake! OK! But 6.50 for a Hefeweizen is totally excessive! We're not on the Alster or Lake Bern, where the prices aren't nearly as high! Then there was self-service with a reprimand for going to the bar instead of the cash register to order! So never again!

We sat outside, overlooking the lake. We had to get our drinks ourselves. Rhubarb Sprizz and a cup of coffee for €13!! Both drinks weren't even really good... We were then allowed to clear the dishes ourselves. Conclusion: we won't be coming back.

The prices should be adjusted to self-service on the terrace. So no service! The quality of the food was very good, but we had to pay extra for the familiar proportions and the side dishes (bread and lemon). Has nothing to do with customer orientation. Unfortunately it only seems economical and is no longer what it used to be. Very unfortunate.

As of: 04/05/24 Self-service outside! Toilet usage fee for non-guests is €2. The view of the white lake and the lido is also not intoxicating. The outdoor area is not for those with walking difficulties, especially with a wheelchair. Stopping for a small drink is ok if you accept the expensive prices. I read the answers from the owner. It is completely overpriced for what is offered. Unfortunately, the snack bar probably makes the greasyst bratwurst in Berlin and €4.50 for soggy fries with mayonnaise is unfortunately not possible. A large sign charging €2 for the toilet reflects the picture exactly.

The atmosphere here is nostaglic. The price-performance ratio is underground. We were on the terrace, ordering here is self-service. But prices like in a fine restaurant, e.g. Wiener schnitzel, goulash and zander over 30 euros. All warmed-up frozen food in mini format. Once and not again. You don't have to accept everything.

Was there yesterday when the weather was nice. Accordingly full. You should then reserve seats. There were 3 waitresses working. Had a lot to do and still was nice. Menu clear, with good dishes. The cost is between €19 and €22. Cake 🎂 around €4 to €5. There's even warm "Irich Coffee" to drink. You have a good view of the lake. There is also an outside terrace.

The milk house has been reliable for years. The staff is bright, approachable and very friendly. The view is of course unique. I was so happy that this small institution survived the coronavirus crisis! Keep it up!

Wir hatten dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier. Das Essen war grandios, der Service super. Immer wieder wurde nachgefragt. Der separate Raum eignet sich hervorragend für solche Events. Die Preise sind in Ordnung, es gab Hirschgulasch und Ente. Vielen Dank nochmal!!

Wir sind immer wieder gerne hier. Das Essen ist zwar lecker allerdings sind die Portionen in letzter Zeit ziemlich geschrumpft das war mal anders. Insofern ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr so toll wie noch vor einem Jahr. Deswegen nur vier Sterne denn die Preise sind überall gestiegen wenn dann wenigstens die Portion stimmt ist das in Ordnung so. Ansonsten kann man nur gutes sagen, freundliches Personal der herrliche Ausblick auf den See ..... einfach top

Ein Stern für die schöne Aussicht. Alles lieblos hingestellt (Tische und Stühle). Kuchen war so kalt dass ich Bauchweh bekommen habe. Auf der Tafel stand Apfel Streusel, Streusel waren nicht drauf. War eine Tiefkühltorte. Cola 4,20€ für 0,2. Kellner sind auch leicht verplant. Bitte meiden

Staring at the bottom of my radler (beer-lemonade) I must say the atmosphere is very local, very much Pankow district, and it is enjoyable. I have eaten here in the past and it is tasty, without pomp or pretense, much how I personally like things to be.

Sehr schlechte Service… ich habe ein Kaffee bestellt und wollte ein Eis Magnum für mein Sohn. Nach dass ich habe den Kaffee bekommen, sie meinten dass die Magnum ist nur für mitnehmen!! Mein Sohn musste warten bis dass ich fertig war… ist es legal?? ich finde es bescheuert! Warum sagen mir es nicht zuvor? ich wurde kein Kaffee bestellen…

Einen Dank an das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal. Aber der Laden ist völlig überteuert für unterdurchschnittlliche Qualität. 3,50 Euro für einen sogenannten Espresso: das ist kein Espresso sondern ein wässriger Filterkaffee in eine Espressotasse. Der Blick auf den See, nun ja der ist ganz nett. Wenn die Sonne scheint, glitzert auch ein trüber Berliner Tümpel.

Ein schönes Ambiente direkt am See, täuscht mit einer verlockenden Speise und Getränkekarte vor dem Café. To go kostet ein Aperol 5€, im Café aber unfassbare 9,5€. NEUN EURO FÜNZIG. Wir hatten nicht gelesen, dass die Preise ausschließlich als To Go Angebot deklariert waren und sind am Ende mit einer beinahe 50€ Rechnung überrascht worden. Pommes waren gut, erwarte ich auch für ACHT EURO ( mit einer kleinen Tüte Ketchup). Auf freundliche Nachfrage an die Chefin, wie diese Preise entstehen, wurde es mit Personalkosten, unfreundlich, angetan. Nie wieder. Personal war aber freundlich.

Die Location ist sehr schön, super gelegen und relativ gut erreichbar. Das lässt man sich teuer bezahlen. Finde auch das die Preise nicht zur Qualität und Größe des Essens passen. Bin gerne bereit mehr Geld zu bezahlen, aber da muss einem dann auch mehr geboten werden. Von den Getränkepreisen fangen wir lieber gar nicht erst an zu reden. Die Bedienungen sind auch alle nicht die freundlichsten. Wenn man drin sitzen möchte kann ich nur empfehlen einen Tisch zu reservieren, auch wenn kein einziger Gast vor Ort ist, sind meist alle Tische irgendwann reserviert, die dann auch nicht mal kurz frei gegebenen werden, obwohl sich die Zeiten nicht überschneiden würden. Sehr schade.

Dies ist ein besonderer Ort, den ich im Rahmen einer Feier entdecken durfte. Vor ein paar Minuten steckte ich noch im Stau fest. Um mich herum die laute Straße mit all ihren ungeduldigen Mitspielern, bedacht auf eine schnelle Heimfahrt. Ein Hupkonzert jagte das andere. Ich hoffte auf baldige Ruhe in meinem Kopf, beim Betreten des Parks. Wenige Minuten später füllte sich meine Lunge mit frischer Luft und ich hörte das Rascheln der Baumkronen über mir. Nach einigen Schritten kam ich, angenehm überrascht, auf eine Lichtung die mich zum Weißensee führte. In der Ferne konnte ich die Location für den heutigen Abend schon erkennen. Das Milchhäuschen war zum Greifen nah. Angekommen spürte ich den Charme längst vergangener Zeiten und ein wohliges Gefühl machte sich in mir breit. Nach einem freundlichen Empfang betrat ich die schön hergerichtete Terrasse, wo ich den Ausblick über den See und seine Bewohner genießen konnte. Kurzer Zeit später stand ich am reichhaltigen, frischen und sehr schmackhaften Buffet. Ein kühles Bier in der einen Hand, meine leuchtende E-Zigarette in der anderen und einen Sonnenuntergang vor meinen strahlenden Augen ließen mich meinen Alltag vergessen. Vielen Dank ans ganze Team für die schönen Momente.

Unterdurchschnittliches Essen bei Überdurchschnittlichen Preisen. Schöne Location aber Preis/Leistung geht gar nicht.

Sind seit 20 Jahren wiederkehrende Gäste. Haben hier schon große Familien-& Weihnachtsessen genossen. Nun nicht mehr. Das schlechteste Bauernfrühstück, 2 miniaturähnliche Schweinemedaillons und 2 Löffel Spätzle und das zu saftigen Preisen enttäuscht uns. Ein Hauch von schnell schnell abgefertigt kammt on top noch dazu. Leckerer Kuchen und ein schöner Ausblick sind der Rest von... es war früher mal richtig gut... So schade.

Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich, leider für die Qualität sehr überteuert.Waren auch nicht viele Gäste dort, spricht für sich.Pilzgericht hat meiner Begleitung nicht geschmeckt. Für den hohen Preis hatte sie etwas Besseres erwartet. Mein Würzfleisch war aber ok.Die Kellnerin hat die Kritik meiner Begleitung entgegen genommen ,jedoch ohne Verständnis zu zeigen.Schade ! Ich war früher öfter in diesem Restaurant und war immer zufrieden mit dem Preis Leistungs Verhältnis.
